Loved this place. We were traveling through and the wife wanted a sandwich of some kind. We looked up sandwiches. The food was great. The sandwich bread was different but awesome. Loved it.
Swan Dive has the best sandwiches in town, no one else even comes close. With that said, the rest of their menu is also excellent. The weekday specials are especially good. The happy hour menu, served 2-6pm, Mon-Thurs rocks on a budget too. Oh, did I mention that Joe, the owner, smokes the meat in a big ol' smoker out back? Pretty important detail I almost left out. As far as service goes, its immaculate. Mattie is about as good as they come. Quick service, friendly, funny, and makes a mean cocktail. What more could someone want?
Outstanding beers, ipa's, and ciders. My gluten free friend can hang with me here and the atmosphere has an awesome fantasy esq vibe.
This was a lovely visit! I went in with a friend just after 5 pm. I got wonderful service, a nice inviting presence, and it was a load of fun to stop on by for a glass of mead from a local seller and to sit inside or outside. The glasses are themed as the titular Lord of the Rings Ent himself and the decorations were both relevant and fun for the Halloween season. We sat outside because it was a nice afternoon and it would be easier to leave when we needed to attend the play we were going to after a bit of fun at this tap house. They also have a few food options, but I'm pretty sure they allow outside food as well. I think they had pretzels with beer cheese, nachos, and one other food option I can not remember, but if they still allow outside food, it'd be super easy to grab a slice of pizza or other food option and have with a glass of basic on-tap drinks, cocktails, and also one or two non-alcoholic options.
The cocktails and atmosphere are curated to perfection, and the proprietor seals the deal with her sweet and generous nature. There is true inspiration in the menu, and this establishment has the best cocktails in all of Corvallis-Albany-Lebanon, by far. Fight me. ❤️
Stopped in for a quick drink after dinner. Drinks were poured well. Quiet bar off just off the beaten path. Smaller establishment but we were able to get a table right away. Cool vibe. Vhs tapes and tube tvs. I believe the owner was working behind the bar and she is very proud of her establishment. Will be going back on another date night to try their food.
Amazing beer selection. Don’t let appearances fool you!
Good pizza, great wings, vast taps selection, good atmosphere
Casual gathering place featuring wood-paneled walls, billiards & bar bites such as burgers & nachos.
This is my first time as a customer to this amazing establishment. I was super impressed by their service. The burger was juicy, tasty and heavenly to my taste buds . The staff went above and beyond. To make sure . This amazing 85 year old woman had her cake . For that alone I am so grateful to staff . This is a local place . Please support this amazing establishment. This is the best burger in Town ! Hands down . Truly a diamond in the rough. A must have is the Hamburger. Cooked to perfection. This is a sit and have a conversation place . No rush No hurries No worries. Type of place . Enjoy a great atmosphere. Let your tastebuds. Enjoy an amazing food experience .
Local bar tavern with delicious crispy tater tots! I love their ranch dressing. Dinner was salmon over rice with salad on the side. Unfortunately the rice was burnt shouldn’t have been served. Casual atmosphere, little short staffed, but overall a great place to hang out.
Laid-back brewpub crafting beers including lagers & IPAs plus serving sandwiches & pasta.
Been here twice and I enjoyed it both times. I enjoy the forager burger and their sandwiches are elite (so crunchy)! The buns of the burgers could’ve been a bit more toasted but overall enjoyable. And the fry sauce is good! I’d pass on the root beer and blueberry lavender lemonade and stick to water or a refillable soda. Good place for brewed drinks for 21+ 8/10
Had a nice lunch with a friend of mine. Food was good and our server was outstanding. I was looking for something lower on carbs and he made several great recommendations. I would stop in here for a low-carb meal again for sure.
Had another fabulous experience here while stamp hunting! Sage, our waitress, was absolutely phenomenal and left us feeling like family. Great place to stop for a brew or bite to eat. Pool tables and shuffleboard upstairs with ample seating for large parties. Parking outside is metered but totally worth a few quarters to enjoy this wonderfully decorated restaurant. This place is a must see! Can’t wait till our next visit! Thanks for the hospitality.
Of all the McMenamins I’ve been to, I have to say this one—McMenamins on Monroe—was the most disappointing. We came in with a group of nine people for lunch on a Saturday, and even though the place wasn’t very busy, the food just didn’t measure up. I ordered the Cheeseburger Slider Trio expecting something flavorful, but it turned out bland and lacking taste. I even had a few others in my group try it, and everyone agreed they wouldn’t order it again. I also tried the Hammerhead Barbecue Chicken Pizza, thinking it would be a safe bet, but it came out overcooked and harder than it should have been. It was only okay, and after a couple slices, I didn’t care to eat much more. Others at my table tried it too, and no one was impressed. Both dishes I ordered are things I’ve had at other McMenamins locations in Washington, and I don’t recall ever having a bad experience before. That’s what made this visit so surprising. Honestly, I don’t think I’d come back to this location.
Love the 16th/17th century outer look. The server was very nice, and the decorations are always consistent with the amazing McMenamins look.
We came to celebrate two birthdays. Our server was very nice. The food we picked was very tasty. Great location on a nice day. We liked the food so much thst I forgot to take pictures of it all. Sliders, burger and French dip are missing from my photos because we dug right in.
All-day pub offering morning-to-late-night menus in a laid-back setting.
This is personally my favorite bar in Corvallis. The food is amazing and everything is reasonably priced. The bartenders work hard and are fun to chat with. During the week its a great place to hangout. Friday nights its a great place to party. There are two pool tables and video lottery if you want something to do. They also have indoor and outdoor seating. Definitely worth checking out!
Harrison’s is a nice bar with a large variety of food options and good deals on drinks. They have my absolute favorite kind of mozzarella sticks and pretty good burgers for the price. They have a couple pool tables that are free on Sundays, and they do some karaoke other nights. There is also a small enclosed outdoor seating section which is nice when weather permits. The service has always been fine and there’s a fair amount of regulars. Most of all I appreciate Harrison’s for being one of the few places in Corvallis open past midnight.
Lively American bar & grill offering house brews, a heated porch & a seasonal rooftop patio.
Had a great time at Sky High Brewery & Pub with some coworkers. The view is awesome — perfect place to relax. I ordered the surf and turf salad and was surprised by how good it was. We also split some nachos that were super easy to share, and the cocktails were delicious. Great atmosphere and would definitely come back!
Went to watch OSU vs UofO and they said they didn’t have a subscription to Fox so they couldn’t put the game on the TV… we ended up watching it on our phone at the table. Service was great and they were all very kind - but the food was meh. Cheese curds were great… if they had cheese inside the breading which 25% didn’t. And my burger was similar to what you’d expect to get from a high school concession stand. Flat bun, burnt bacon, and it all just fell apart.
Enduring sports bar with burgers & other grub, plus pool tables, a dance floor & music.
A little specific, but if the owner is reading this, you REALLY need to dim the lights in the booths right next to the entrance. My first time in, and I heard at least 8 customers including myself complain about how extraordinarily too bright they were. And it even caused a conflict between one of the workers and a young girl who kept turning them off herself. (Even though she did politely ask everyone around first.) Aside from that, I'd change my 4 to a 5, maybe some real AC up stairs. (I didn't see the bathrooms.)
Decent draft selection & full dinner menu up to closing time! Minors allowed until 8! (no playing pool under 21) Karaoke every night from 9-close! Upstairs dance party every Wed-Sat from 9-close! Unlimited free pool every Sunday! Friendly bartenders and staff and just a great vibe overall. Well-lit for a bar which I like. Gets kinda loud in the later parts of the night sometimes, some may like that or not. Also a great place for a relaxing dinner before showtimes at the Majestic. My kids love coming here!
