Love this little gem. NA cocktails, and NA products and bitters served in a cute little shop. knowledgeable staff who can help guide you to the right product. They offer samples, so you can try before you buy. I love the NA gin, and they have a good selection of bitters, as well as recipes.
Really nice, intimate spot in Eugene that gives a creative twist on the rejuvenating power of the cocktail. Our bartender/apothecary provided the perfect balance of attention and space. We paired our potions with a satisfying charcuterie for two. Then, when we had lounged long enough on their black velvet chairs, we left refreshed with little damage to our pockets. Check it out!
This place is beautiful and a great setting to relax and hang out I love that they have Mocktails and there patio areas are lovely. Delicious drinks and the staff is very friendly. The food cart outside is phenomenal 'Zandos' I highly recommend both.
What a special spot! Amazing staff, delightful atmosphere and great vibes! Drinks and shrubs are wonderful! Good sushi burritos next door too!
Had a great time at The Jazz Station. We saw the Randy Porter trio, and they were great The club is small and intimate. The club was clean, and the sound was perfect. This is a great place to hear live jazz.
Great place to hear jazz by local artists. Join the Willamette Jazz Society N support local jazzzzzzz! Yeah... Great vibe with friendly peeps! They have certain nites where you can sit in with the band!
I love the Pint Pot! My partner and I visit regularly for drinks and bar snacks. The food is DELICIOUS, and the drinks are very affordable and tasty. As a young woman, (especially a queer one,) I wasn’t sure about a pub vibe being comfortable to me. Once I went though, I found not only the staff but also the other customers to be very welcoming. Every bar tender is excellent, and they love banter. If you’re looking for a casual place to get some drinks in the evening, or even somewhere you can get a beer while having dinner with family, I’d recommend this place. (Minors allowed till 8pm!)
I honestly need to frequent this place more. I’ve been here many many times, but since they’ve expanded and expanded their menu, I haven’t had a bad experience. The people are great and the atmosphere is awesome. It feels like a true Irish pub once you step in. I wish they had a few more beers but no biggie. They have a fun kid section too. Kinda for tots.
Saw Conan last night, best metal show I've ever been to. Sick vibes and the venue doesn't have muddy acoustics! Definitely worth the drive from the coast!
Atmosphere was welcoming and friendly. I did not partake of the drinks, but I heard nothing but pleasant comments from everyone else. Staff was hard working and helpful. Excellent taste in performances.
Low-key hangout with many vintage pinball & arcade machines, a full bar & hearty pub grub.
This place runs a scam where they quickly take your unfinished food and drinks from your table when you get up to dance or need to leave your table for any reason so you will spend more money replacing the food and drink they just threw away. Sometimes they'll do it while you're still at the table and quickly run off. This bar can be fun, but there's some real issues that have been ignored for years going on that need to be called out and addressed.
I had a blast last night at Blairally Vintage Arcade. Seeing walls of Pinball Machines brought back childhood memories. I saw Sweater For An Astronaut and they slapped! There was delicious Dark Beer on tap at an affordable price. Local shows are the very best and I appreciate seeing a show on a Thursday. The Whiteaker Neighborhood is a cool place to hang out.
The bartenders here are jerks with terrible personalities. They’re only nice to people that come in to drink but if you come in to play pinball they treat you like a second class citizen. Seriously, get over yourselves. I might actually order a CBD soda more often if they weren’t rude. But the pinball machines are nice and well maintained with a good variety of titles.
went to this place called level up and Sigma looking bouncer, which was a girl did not let me in because I’m a woman and she doesn’t like the way I look. If you’re hot, don’t come here. she denied away my ID, even though it was real she just wanted to look hard in front of her date outside, which I don’t think you’re supposed to be fraternizing with customers while on the job, The owner should definitely reconsider who they have working in the door
Relaxed hangout with a chill vibe offering sports on TV & dishing up traditional American classics.
We were a bit turned off by the "order at the bar" situation, but I'm glad we stuck around cus the food is killer! The Sante Fe burger is made with a homemade jalapeno and cheese focaccia, and the reuben was the best we've ever had. Also, compared to some of the other bar and grilles the prices here were pretty incredible. Less than $70 for a few beers, 2 meals, and some left overs to take home.
I've eaten here several times and it never disapoints. Price, portion size, and food quality are great. The french dip is made with prime rip meat and is probably the best I've had. They make a mean hamburger as well.
I could not believe how awful the service was. It’s worth prefacing that I am usually pretty understanding of mistakes in restaurant service. However, an hour and a half into our stay, we were still waiting on two of our dishes. We communicated to the waitress what dishes we were missing (nicely, we weren’t belligerent about it). Apparently there was a misunderstanding, because shortly after, the hostess came over said that it was the waitresses second day and to “lay off her”. How she felt we were being rude, Idk but that wasn’t the intention, we just wanted the food we ordered, and didn’t explicitly blame the waitress. We received another one of our dishes, while the last dish wasn’t brought to us until we left. We had to seek out a waitress or bar tender for everything, our checks, napkins, and our food. We were never checked on for refills or how the meal was going. However, we weren’t acting upset about this, we were honestly just in grossed in our own conversations, with the occasional “I wonder where our food is” comment. On our way out, we were unceremoniously told we were not welcome back, which again completely caught us off guard, and I suspect there must have been a misunderstanding. It completely ruined the night for us, and I will happily never return. Food was fine, the atmosphere is cool if somewhat undercut by the hostile service.
Never been here before. There was a very relaxed chill atmosphere. The food was top notch, the chicken bacon club was absolutely worth it. I had a Mocktail as I don't drink and that was excellent as well. The live music was great. Very friendly, attentive waitresses and bar staff. Would definitely go here again.
Longtime watering hole set in a strip mall supplying bar favorites in dark, wood-paneled digs.
One of the oldest bars in the entire area that's still going strong! Hell my Dad and my grandfather even when he was young was a regular here. Use to be rather a small bar but they bought the other side and the place is looking amazing with now 3 times the space if not more with just as expanded back area! I don't go as often as I use to but I highly recommend this place any day of the week to anyone old or new to the area. Located downtown by campus on 13th and Patterson. Awesome staff, great atmosphere, good fun times even with karaoke, and all the free popcorn and peanuts you can eat to soak up those drinks lol. Keep up the great work Max's!
It's the quintessential "COLLEGE BAR." Literally a few blocks from campus. Great outdoor patio, friendly people, good bar food, free popcorn. What more do you need?
Vibrant hangout with a cool vibe offering various happy-hour specials, a pool room & back patio.
I didn't eat here, just stopped in for some drinks. Good drinks with rotating specials from 4 to midnight and $4 Patron tequila shots from 9:30 to 10:30. This place is very lively, busy, on weekends and would not be for everybody but I enjoyed it.
Cute lights throughout the bar. The espresso martini was good. The bartender was rude. Poor first, and only, impression.
Modern coffeehouse & bar for java, craft beer & cocktails, along with creative sandwiches & salads.
Came here for a Friday night when karaoke was happening. So many talented people singing a wide range of music. The bar itself was super fun with really good drink specials and options. The staff were also so nice and helpful and fun to talk to. Will definitely return.
The bar is nice, but the bartender is always rude. I once asked him if he could give me the code for the bathroom, but since it was already closed, he wouldn't give it to me. He's rude, unfortunately.
Intimate, laid-back watering hole with regular live entertainment from local indie bands & DJs.
CULINARY PSYCHOTIC, CHAPTER IV “The Serpent’s Den and the Starborn Burger” Location: The Sparrow & The Serpent Entry, as recorded by the Cleric In the amber light of sanctuary, where chandeliers tangle with vines and laughter flows like mead, we arrived—dust from the road still in our boots, coin purses lighter than our spirits. Heather, Keeper of the Dice, conjured our fate. Jake, the Philosopher-Knight, bore silent witness. Burgers were not ordered, they were summoned. Swiss and habanero. Bacon jam and jalapeño. Even the foulest of blessings: peanut butter. A tower rose at the bar. Dice clattered like thunder in the realm of the damned. We cheered, we swore oaths, we bit down hard. The tavern itself—a creature of gothic whimsy—breathed with stories. Skeleton dragons curled near velvet curtains. Starfleet portraits watched us drink. The stained glass whispered in ancient Greek. We sang with queens. We blessed the stage. We rolled for flavor and won chaos. We were foolish mortals. We were immortal for a night.
I've been a couple of times now and each time they've been out of several food options and alcohol. There's already a very small selection of alcohol as well. Very limited seating indoors, especially during events. Most of the staff are super nice, except for one guy. Amazing atmosphere for sure. Check it out. Form your own opinion.
Southern-style pub fare & local beers offered in a warm, sizable space with pool, pinball & a patio.
Everything. Beginning with a fantastic bouncer who invited us in... we got to look around was amazed at how spacious the sitting areas were, lots of billiard tables waiting to go, a group of locals having a great time bantering back-and-forth with each other, easy-going group of folks outside in the patio area as well. There was a nice bamboo barrier for some privacy. Will come back.
What a vibe this sums Eugene up I feel like haha but honestly this was the best food I’ve ever had…. Ever. Not even lying service wasn’t the best and the atmosphere is strange but they got VP , pool tables, and a claw machine? But the food 5/5 stars ⭐️
Casual American restaurant serving breakfast, lunch & dinner, plus a lounge with music & karaoke.
It is first and foremost a diner with diner food and venue. Through the years this place evolved older crowd. If this is your scene, you couldn't pick a better place. the atmosphere is relaxed and pleasant and the service is superb.
The atmosphere was great. We ordered a drink, the bartender didn't know how to make it. But that was OK. We ordered some food, needless to say 45 minutes later still no food! So we left. Not going back. You
Decent drinks at a decent price. The Moscow mule deal is definitely a winner, though hampered by the three drink maximum. The food was adequate, pizza a bit heavy on the crust and dough. Plenty of games to be had from "skill" based claw machine to ticket-based and just general fun.
My son and I love going and playing the games! Yes, it is expensive but the $110 for 800 credits usually lasts us about 3 visits. Most of the employees are decent and some even friendly but the manager… she seems absolutely miserable and does not speak a word to you if you need her help for a broken machine that took your money etc.. she will work on the computer without looking you in the eye or ever acknowledging you.. I can’t believe she is a manager. She has zero customer service skills.. pretty shocking!
Hopping nightspot features DJ dance parties, pool tables & a full bar with extended happy hours.
We stumbled onto cowfish because we saw a past event poster on a telephone poll. The lounge was pretty dead BUT this place is so cool and unique that it super didn’t matter. The music was fun and they have games and what not to really make this place a great time.
I have been in Oregon for nearly 2 decades. My first 9 months in Eugene and then 3 years in Bend. Then back to Eugene. And i was past ready to dance. I started in Bartopia and settled on COWFISH... AND NOW NEARLY A DECADE LATER I would still bring friends here before any other club in Lane. As a DJ for more years than i would like to admit... I have played more clubs than i want to admit... And i always told owners. UNTIL THEY ACTUALLY DJ. They have no idea how to really run a club.. And i just found out recently my friend and owner of Cowfish.... IS A DJ!! THIS IS 10 years later. No explanation you got to just FEEL for yourself.
Absolutely loveeee spending the weekends here. Amit and Ranger are amazing at what they do. Ida is one of my favorites as well, shes so kind and makes sure the girls are always taken care of. Security is top notch always helping take care of everyone and shows up to help any issues i ever have! The bar tenders are so kind and patient with everyone & the bottle girls are on top of it with the vip sections 🤍 Shoutout Skyla for being the ultimate baddie i love seeing her every weekend🤍
Love this experience. Everyone is super nice and respectful. Shout out to the security and the bartenders . Never a bad experience. They are always treating everyone like family here! And a grand shout out to ida. Always a girls girl. :) always make me and my girls feel safe
