Eerie destination with a supernatural motif offering creative cocktails & hearty meals.
This was such a great dining experience! The ambiance was out of this world. From the restroom, dungeon, and dining area, all was decorated and interactive! The staff that we interacted with, Jazz and Adrian (sp?), was exceptional! Very attentive and accommodating! Food and libations were off the chain. I would recommend this place 100%. Allow more time to explore the place.
We got to Raven’s Manor just before happy hour ended, and our server made sure our food order went in on time for the happy hour prices. We had the burger, the dip, and the shrimp—all really good. The atmosphere was awesome with spooky-themed rooms to explore, a photo booth, and a fun overall vibe. Prices were fair for what you get. Definitely worth checking out, just make sure to book a reservation!
Chic lounge with a Roaring '20s vibe, craft cocktails & a light fare menu, plus DJs on the weekends.
Hands down the best nightclub downtown! Most genuine down to earth bartenders! Came out for my Birthday and they treated me like family! Definitely will be coming back!! District the place to party!!!
Their drinks are okay but they have no food and the furniture is clearly damaged. Staff is pretty nice minus the dj, I asked if he took requests, he nodded yes, and then never played my song :/
This club is always a good time, but what makes it even better is the amazing staff. Huge shoutout to Mirjam at security, she’s the sweetest, always welcoming, and really sets the vibe from the moment you walk in. She makes you feel safe while also keeping the energy fun and friendly. Honestly, she’s part of the reason I love coming here. 💯
Honestly, save your money. It’s not worth the $20 cover. The dance floor is small, and half of it is blocked off for “VIP,” which just makes it worse. The music is great, but the setup kills the vibe ditch the oversized VIP and give people space to actually dance.
Classic & inventive cocktails with top-shelf spirits by talented mixologists in a chic, buzzy space.
We haven't tried their food yet. A perfect spot for a date or with friends. Amazing cocktails. 👏 Highly recommended to visit this bar.
Teardrop Lounge – A Hidden Gem with Fantastic Service and Atmosphere Teardrop Lounge is a great little spot with a super friendly, upbeat waitress who made our experience even better. She had excellent recommendations—I told her what I liked, and she came back with something fabulous for both of us. We started with a dozen oysters, which were absolutely delicious. And the bread? It smelled like your grandma just pulled it fresh from the oven, paired with amazing butter that made it even better. We were doing a bit of a progressive appetizer night, hopping around, but this stop was a highlight. The atmosphere was fantastic, the waitstaff was attentive and fun, and overall, it was a great place to go and enjoy a night out. I loved it and would definitely go back! We were too busy eating and enjoying cocktails, we forgot to snap many photos.
Hip, geometric-filled bar with blue velvet booths offering elevated cocktails & Asian fusion eats.
Stopped into Pink Rabbit for a quick drink and was pleasantly surprised. The bar has a really nice atmosphere—vibrant and welcoming. I originally came in hoping to try the pink deviled eggs (RIP 🥲), but even without them, it was a great experience. The staff was super friendly and service was fast. Cocktails were excellent—definitely a highlight. A solid place to grab a well-made drink and soak in some good energy. Will be back
Loved our drinks here - depending on what you ordered, though, you could get pretty loaded down with ice so you had to drink fast to avoid your drink getting too watery. We sat outside, and it was lovely. The service was great, and it was just a nice night to sit outside. We only stayed for the one cocktail; they were pretty pricey for what you got. The atmosphere inside was neat, too!
International fare in modern, tropical interiors with plants & local art in the Jupiter NEXT Hotel.
Went here with a friend. The modern atmosphere was open with plenty of lighting. The hostess greeted us right away and got us seated. I ordered the nachos and the Fiesta Forever cocktail since it's a seasonal drink. My friend had the Oaxacan Sunrise which must be strong since there's a two-drink limit on it. When our drinks arrived, they were good. The nachos, however, tasted cold especially the meat and chips. I’d have to come back to try more items and give a more complete review since we didn’t order much this time.
I came across Hey Love through an Instagram review and decided to check it out—definitely a great choice! The adult slushies were delicious, and we happened to arrive during happy hour, which was a pleasant surprise. The staff were friendly, fun, and super engaging, adding to the welcoming atmosphere. The décor is stunning with a vibrant, tropical aesthetic, and the music vibe was absolutely on point. I’m already looking forward to coming back and trying more from the menu.
Happening spot for creative cocktails & elevated bar food including deviled eggs in a hip room.
Ive always enjoyed the cocktails here. I have not tried their food yet. They have outdoor seating in the front and back (more quiet in back seating without street/car noise as its a busy road). We went there yesterday because they were participating in Bite for Rights fundraiser!
I came in late afternoon/early evening on July 4th. They were busier than expected and the staff absolutely crushed it. Shoutout to Chris behind the bar and John in the kitchen. Great people, great at their jobs. Never had a bad experience here and I’ve been coming in on and off for years!
Dark Goth bar with horror-themed decor, hosting concerts, burlesque shows, tarot readings & more.
We came here specifically to do some 80s dancing, and it was a very fun atmosphere. It is definitely a Goth bar, but everyone is welcoming and friendly, and we were able to find a table tucked away to to hang out with our friends.
The Coffin Club is a Goth themed concert venue, bar, and dance venue. I have been there six plus times to see music acts like Die Robot, Matt Hart, and Curse Mackey. There are two floors. The basement floor has a separate stage, a full bar, booths, and DJ booth and uni-sex bathroom. It has been closed since winter for reasons I have yet to pin down. The main floor has two bars, a small stage, and a DJ booth. Booth are sequestered around the many rooms surrounding the stage. I have no idea if the place has food. The door only takes cash to enter for events, unless you have bought your ticket before hand on-line. This is a goth bar, so dress accordingly. The patrons all seem to have a good time and I have never seen people act poorly.
First time going and this place is sketchy. I’m glad to read other reviews and find that this isn’t just something I’ve picked up on. They will take vapes and pens picking and choosing who they let in with one. The line to the bar is inconvenient and always long. However, the worst part of this place? Its security. There was one guy in particular, big, tall, with a patchy beard. He smelled like BO. He aggressively grabbed a few women and kept screaming at them to leave. He was so aggressive another security guard had to tell him to leave. Horribly unprofessional and in front of everyone. You don’t pay to have a bad time, so if you’re planning to have a fun night, go somewhere else!
Went last night to celebrate my birthday, and the manager of Calle6 Araceli gave me this beautiful red rose and drinks for me and my friend. The vibe and music are amazing, abd the food outside is delicious. I highly recommend this nightclub. Thanks again Araceli.
Hip, rustic-industrial hangout with a patio, fireplaces & Ping-Pong, plus drinks, pub grub & bands.
Absolute terrible service. I was very excited to bring my family here for my birthday as I am newer to the area and my family is visiting from across the country. I specifically saved this place to try with my family because I was sure it was going to be a great experience……… WELL, the bartender was very rude and her attitude was REPULSIVE. I was recommended to go here due to the amazing atmosphere and I can assure you it was much less than a pleasant experience. The drinks were mid and the service, absolutely horrendous. I had to leave, before even finishing my drink and we ended up at the Teardrop Cocktail Lounge, THANKFULLY, where the staff promptly greeted us, and the drinks were 12/10! The staff was courteous, knowledgeable, and polite 15/10 and price was VERY fair 10/10. I highly recommend taking your money to TEARDROP COCKTAIL LOUNGE that made my night absolutely 100x better after visiting this DUMP!!!! Teardrop cocktail lounge was worth every penny and the 7 minute drive!!! For me, service is a major factor and this establishment truly has failed to deliver an even mediocre performance level for customer service. My server, based on my receipt, was “Mariana S”.
Went the other night with a few friends after a film screening, and it was a great experience. We shared the fondue appetizer, and I was pleasantly surprised—I’m usually not a big fondue fan because it often has an overpowering white wine flavor, but theirs was perfect. It came with apples, strawberries, and bread for dipping, and I kept going back for more. The drinks were solid, the place is spacious, and their outdoor patio is a fantastic spot to relax and hang out. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area.
2-level nightclub & bar in former auto warehouse featuring live bands, eclectic DJs & techno music.
Great spot! On a really hot day for Portland this place kept us cool while our ears were filled with the groovy tunes of The Angry Lisas! Straightforward bar and nice staff.
Went here for an early show to see hey, nothing. Even at the sold out show it wasn't packed around the venue! There was plenty of space around the bar and lots of seating available. They also have screens showing the stage so wherever your sitting you can see the show. Security and bar staff were very friendly, had an amazing experience.
Long-lived tiki bar with island-themed murals, tropical cocktails & nightly high-energy karaoke.
This is an awesome divey tiki bar. The drinks are good, the food is tasty, and the vibes cannot be beat. The karaoke is fun and usually very busy, but everyone is into it and it doesn't feel forced the way some karaoke does. Absolutely recommend going here for a late night stop.
Deep, dark Tiki decor and vibe immediately bring a smile. Karaoke crowd is fun-loving and generous. Bartender Ashley is friendly, efficient and skilled beyond offered cocktail menu. John is new but clearly skilled at ensuring customers are having s good time. This is a fun factory! ✌️🥂🗿
Basic sports bar with a downstairs game room serves up simple pub grub & drinks to a lively crowd.
This is an OK bar. It's a bit dive'y in esthetics. The crowd on a Saturday night seemed to be 25-35 yr olds, mostly straight men. Most seemed to be enjoying the space. Why are there so many television screens on the main level?! The basement is a bit clostrophonic. There are pool tables in the basement. The bathrooms are scratchy. The kitchen closed for the night before I had a chance to order. There is a bar on both levels. One has to walk next to the outdoor smoker's huddle at the front door when entering. This is a 5/5 for a dive-bar.
Only been here once but I liked it a lot. Had a French dip and a pint, both hit the spot. Prices are reasonable and the vibe felt easygoing. My dad’s a cheap beer guy and even he was happy with what they had. Definitely feels like a place I’d come back to for a low-key night.
It's a pretty neat little bar that offers a good selection of tequila and Mezcal spirits. They also have other spirits to choose from. The place has a nice chill and relaxing atmosphere to it. We ordered a couple of drinks - Green Lotus and Burnside Bully. Both of the drinks were excellent. I did really enjoy the Green Lotus - vodka, coconut, pandan, coffee, sesame, and matcha. We also did the spoon the wheel for a random $7 shot. We landed on the mystery tequila and Baja blast shots. The Baja blast did remind me of the drink. We also ordered the funnel cake fries, which I highly recommend. Overall, it was a great time with some delicious drinks.
Dirty Pretty is a nice bar. Their bar stock has most of what's needed. The vibe is cool and the decor is stylish. They have a patio area out back. Dirty Pretty gets a bit too loud and edgy on Friday and Saturday nights but it's not a bad place to have drinks with mates or a date during off peak hours. Street parking is luck of the draw. ✌🏻 Check out my profile for more great eateries and craft cocktail bars. -VanPort Insider
A small venue, but the space is nice. Enjoyed the music and drinks. There are a few tables to stand at and comfortable seating along one wall. Good vibes all around. Drinks are pricey but that's Portland for you
Kind of a strange place. When we first got in, after I was frisked (probably understandable, given the atmosphere in downtown), I entered what I thought was the foyer before going into the club. Nope. That was the club. They should rename it Foyer. The whole club is about 20 feet square. I would be hard pressed to see more than 20 people in this place comfortably. The DJ booth is neat looking.
Industrial night-club with an underground feel featuring a covered balcony & DJs spinning EDM.
Decent club. Really wished they used the upstairs more to spread out crowds. Love the balcony to get some air. Great acts come through. Dance floor is kinda small and can be extremely frustrating on busy nights. They have plenty of water stations which is awesome. Please open the upstairs dance area more often guys. It would make people Stay longer and spend more time and money. I didn’t buy one drink last time Because it was impossible to drink and enjoy the show getting knocked around.
No frills club for dance music in the inner east side. Main space is fairly small, second floor available when the press of humans becomes too much. Saw Elijah Wood though and that was pretty silly and tight.
🔥night club for a downtown Portland spot! Service is pretty chill and crew is attentive. Cocktails are fairly priced, depending on what you get. DJ’s lineups are good, can always appreciate a party vibe here!
Went to one of their Kpop nights, and these are my very minor complaints: pretty small club, can get very crowded very fast, and gets very hot if you’re not in an area with a fan on you! Overall, the atmosphere was great, had a lot of fun outside of getting hot. Drinks are pretty spendy, but they offer free cold water to everyone! The performances were very fun to watch, and the DJ’ing was good. I would come back here again!
Vibrant hangout with veggie bites, a full bar & a dance floor, plus live DJs & event nights.
I went to Cultura last Saturday. The cover charge is $20 cash or $25 with card, which might be standard, but honestly, it’s not worth it. I don’t get why this place is hyped so much — the place wasn’t even packed, and the energy was flat. The DJ kept recycling the same playlist, and at times it wasn’t even actual mixing, just background music. That’s not what I call a real DJ experience. Pro tip: if I can get the same vibe from my Spotify at home, you’re doing it wrong. Drink prices are probably the standard price like any other nightclub but what really bothered me was noticing extra charges that shouldn’t have been there of $80+. I don’t mind paying for a good time, but when they start sneaking in extra charges and stealing money, that’s just unethical business practice. They did upgrade the LED lights recently around the club, which looks really nice, but it’s too bad the music and prices don’t do that upgrade any justice. Safe to say, I’m never coming back. If you want to drop the same cover charge, go somewhere that actually deserves your money and gives you a better night experience.
Not going to lie, there was basically no one here for their saint patricks day event lol, it was dead BUT if you know how to have a good time without it being a packed club this place was great. The bartenders make a great strong drink, the dj is great and you can tell he was adjusting his music to what we danced to/enjoyed. 5 friends and I all had great times and we had the dance floor basically to ourselves, that's a win for me. Will try this club again to see if it's busier for different events. Bartenders speak english and spanish. 10/10
Boisterous nightclub & dancing destination with ample colored lights & a full bar.
I have worked in the bar industry for nearly 7 years and this was one of my worst experiences, not only were the tables over priced for a VIP that let everyone else in for free (bouncers friends) the bouncer who monitors the VIP area told me "Hey bro, because you got a good deal on the table, if you pay me, I will take good care of you" First of all, why is a bouncer openly asking for a tip after I just spent $400 for a table to assure me he would take care of me? This is extortion to it's finest, one member of the group I was with, was not let back into the bar when he went out to smoke, the door guy said he would let him back in if he gave him $20. This is by far one of the worst security staffs in the entire city of Portland, the "Security" crew are a bunch of extortionists, who not only do NOT by any means make you feel safe, but have the exact opposite affect.
My friend got really drunk one time and we were trying to carry her out of the club and got stopped by an alcohol monitor. Thought we were going to get in trouble but the guy was so sweet and helped us to a quiet room where he brought us all water and pizza to help our friend sober up and waited with us until our ride came. This place takes care of there women to make it a safe club for them!
