Love this place before I became a worker there still loved it. Good vibes, good food grea people
Nothing but amazing hospitality, the food is absolutely fantastic, the owner, & bartenders are such a joy to be around. They’ve truly become a second family to me!
We were heading home from Cooperstown and found Before The Barrel Distillery through Harvest Hosts — and it turned out to be a one-of-a-kind find. Bernie, the owner, is a passionate man of his craft. His knowledge, care, and pride in what he creates are immediately clear, and he made us feel right at home during our visit. The tasting experience was personal, laid-back, and truly memorable. I honestly have no reason to come back to Erie — but if I ever do, I’ll make sure to stop back in. Thanks for the hospitality, Bernie. You made a lasting impression.
No food currently, but excellent moonshine!! The bartender (I think her name was Bridget) was super nice and explained everything to me and made a killer cocktail upside down cake!! Highly recommend!!
Came in around dinner time. Everybody was pretty chill. bartender was really cool and knowledgeable about the area because we were not from around the way. Philly cheesesteak sandwich was on point, not too greasy and made with care. french fries were crispy and cooked perfectly!
The bartender was very nice & attentive & friendly to all guests. We got our order taken quickly & drinks (very affordable) right away. Seems like they have a pretty lively takeout business so the kitchen was backed up, which wasn't awesome but wasn't a crisis (we were enjoying ourselves & the vibe was fun). When the food did arrive (we each got small cheesesteaks and the two of us split an order of parmesan-garlic-mozzerella fries) it was tremendous. Really, really good. I can see why they do such a brisk business out of that kitchen.
Casual brewery offering housemade craft beer & dressed-up pub food, plus tours & growler refills.
I thought I reviewed this place a few years back when I first visited, but I guess not- so here we go. Lavery is quality run brewpub, with some really tasty beers on tap that span the gap between many different styles and flavors. On my most recent trip with my wife, I got a six beer flight to sample, and was impressed by all the chosen offerings, especially the coconut-laden Divine Intervention and the uniquely refreshing lime and cucumber and sea salt sour. The place itself is kind of on the darker side and is accented with a lot of wood and wood tones, which is just the rathskeller type of vibe that you want from a classic brewpub experience. There is also a nice patio area if you prefer a lighter experience during nice weather. The staff is attentive and friendly, and the food (which we tried on the last outing there) is tasty and compliments the drinks well. Overall, it's definitely a worthwhile stop if in the Erie area and looking for a nice beer in an enjoyable atmosphere.
My husband and I went on a night where they had live music so we sat outside. The food was phenomenal! We both agreed it was the best pizza and burger we’ve had in a long time. The pizza is large enough to split, we took home left overs. They had plenty of good options on tap - the sours were awesome, unique flavors. Great place to go if you’re with friends looking to have great food and drinks. Plenty of free parking.
Casual hotel eatery offering American eats in a light-filled room with bay views & patio seating.
We had lunch at Shoreline and dined outside. It was peaceful, relaxing and just a great time. Steps away from the lake on the bayfront. The sun was shining and the water views were beautiful. Our charming and friendly waitress made chit chat with us. She recommended drinks to try and she encouraged me to try the fish tacos made with blackened walleye. I am so glad that I took her advice. They were delicious. This was my first time trying walleye. It was sweet, meaty and cooked perfectly. My Mom had the shrimp and grits that she really enjoyed, too. I'd love to visit here again.
Probably my wife's favorite meal of the trip. And my sandwich was good too. She raved about the Crab Cakes and loved her fish and chips. I thought the Pretzel Balls and Club were both pretty good. Beer menu was decent. Service was good and the location was great. Beautiful view.
Such a beautiful restaurant with amazing staff and ambiance. Loved the atmosphere and service. The team was warm and welcoming, and the space itself is gorgeous. I can’t wait to come back
Another nice place on the bayfront that I would definitely recommend. The views here and everywhere on the bayfront are amazing and very serene to enjoy a meal and have a good conversation. The server was great and even moved us to a table on the edge once one opened up as we were in the back at first and not such open views, but he was very obliged to help us out. The food did not disappoint and was delicious and not too pricey at all for the location. But watching the sunset while having a good time was priceless and if back in the area again, I would definitely stop by for another visit.
Well, I have to say that the all-lawyer band The Barristars and Jack Stevenson and the Buried Treasure Band really rocked the house on Thanksgiving eve 2022! The “Skellar” is a great venue! They have an excellent selection of beer and wine and spirits, and they serve great bar food as well. Fans packed the place and had one hell of a time! Thank you, Rathskeller!!!
I love the new overall atmosphere. And I love the live music. I have yet to try their food, but I am looking forward to getting the opportunity. I used to shoot pool, eat some bar food, have a stiff drink, and perform regularly in an acoustic act here when it was Gaslight. I won't deny I miss those days and the "regulars" I got to hang out with. It felt kind of like a home away from home. The new atmosphere is very clean with great decor, but I just don't feel as welcome as I used to. I MIGHT return some Friday in the future when they have live musiC (maybe try the food). Hopefully, I will be welcomed by the staff, or at least not ignored entirely.... There were two female bartenders, the band was packing up, and there weren't many people asking for drinks but I was not acknowledged whatsoever by either girl ( despite making eye contact). After waiting much longer than I should have, I decided to leave as I felt almost uncomfortable. The customers did not seem too welcoming either to be honest.
Great food and chill atmosphere. We did wait a bit for initial service and for the appetizer but our waitress looked really busy and the cook (or owner? Or other waiter?) did apologize when he brought our app and said they were training a new person. We were in no hurry so it didn't bother us. Our food was delicious and we will definitely go back. If you're looking for a laid back feel with some good bar food, this is it.
Faith and Pearl are amazing servers/bartenders! The service they gave my friends and I on 2 different occasions this past week was outstanding! They went above and beyond. Faith was exceptionally engaging with our 7 year old boy, which made us feel right at home.
very cool entrance and theme, drinks were good! Alcohol and non-alcohol options available. there’s also a happy hour that is very reasonable! live bands playing sometimes. overall I loved it, and would go back. I would recommend a reservation on busy days for dinner.
Room 33 came highly recommended so we had to try it out! Walked in on a Friday night, super chill, welcoming vibes- greeted by the bartender and invited to grab a high top table. Drinks- peach thyme old fashioned, the Good Fellow, 🥃 and Line 39 Cabernet 🍷 Apps- the Bavarian pretzels 🥨 and the sliders 🍔 omg. Entrees- the short ribs!!! 🍖 we swapped the mashed potatoes for the herb fingering potatoes just out of personal preference. Our server was awesome, very accommodating. Everything was absolutely dynamite- super flavorful, fresh, served promptly- all around awesome experience. Prices are SUPER reasonable to boot. Our final tab was under $100 for two people- mind blown! Can’t wait to come back!
Bar & nightspot hosts bands on the weekends while dishing up pizza, sandwiches & other casual chow.
Good time was had at the tiki bar for Sunday funday! Live acoustic music, cold drinks, very clean. We didn't eat but the food that came out looked fantastic!
This place is absolutely amazing! We’ve been here several times for Sunday brunch. The best omelettes we have ever had! The servers are absolutely top-notch, very nice atmosphere, very clean and welcoming. We’ve also been here for lunch and dinner. The patio is great for outdoor dining.
Casual yet sophisticated gathering place for globally inspired eats, wine, craft beer & cocktails.
We are unsure why this restaurant only has a 4.5 rating on Google. In our estimation it should be at least a 4.7 or 4.8. The drinks were amazing and the food was out of this world. From the croque madame flatbread, duck wings and peach salad to the chimichurri salmon and seared duck breast, the food was well seasoned and excellently prepared. The lemon blueberry tart and creme brulee were an amazing end to a stellar meal. We highly recommend and will return.
The duck was really good, but my date got the tacos and it didn't say they were spicy anywhere in the menu and she couldn't eat them. Besides that it was a great experience.
Waitress acted annoyed and hostile at my simple beer and burger order. Burger was like a super-sized, high school cafeteria burger. Brown and dry all the way through. The “oven-baked fries” were also very dry. Both seemed as if they had been under the heat lights for a while. But the parking lot was full at 6:15. So apparently people like it.
The food as always was top notch. John and Russell have built a brand that has thus far not slipped on quality or on value. The pizza was crispy and hot and the pretzel was done with the perfect crunch and consistency. The only down side was being close to the bar, well staffed, low number of customers and yet it still took a while to get our drinks, refills and for our server just to check in. Overall still a great experience and still worth a return trip and a trip to the other (newer) restaurants on upper Peach and on the bayfront soon. Keep up the great work U Pick 6!
Bustling indoor/outdoor bar & eatery serving handmade ales & familiar bar bites.
The overall space is amazing. It is an old train station that has been converted into a brewery. They are keeping the history of the building alive, which is super cool and increasingly rare. They had a nice selection of beers on tap. We really enjoyed the Silk Bomb, which is their flagship stout. We didn't get to try the food, but it looked tasty. Very friendly staff welcomed us. They had 4 packs to go and some merchandise available. Overall if you're in the area it is worth it to check it out.
I usually don’t take the time to review restaurants, but had to say something about this place. We found it on a whim from a google search when on a family vacation in Erie. First off, the ambiance is amazing. It was so cool seeing the history of this building. I think I was constantly looking around the whole time we were there. Not only did my husband and I both absolutely love the beers that we tried, but we were blown away by the food as well. I got one of the Mac and cheese dishes and he had the honey salmon special. It’s very rare to have a cool atmosphere, great service, amazing drinks, and delicious food- but this place offered it all.
Burgers, salads, pizza, wraps & craft beer on tap in a storied, brick building built in the 1800s.
Worst service we've experienced in a while. Our waitress, Anastasia, had zero social manners. Our appetizer was literally dropped on the table as she sped by without slowing down. I was given silverware, my wife not. When she eventually stopped by to see if we needed anything, I asked for more coffee and she sped off before I could ask for more soda for my wife. We'd almost finished eating when we saw her again and I raised a hand to get her attention. I asked where the coffee and soda refills were. She laughed as a response to forgetting and disappeared again. Some guy brought the drinks out. Not her. Food and venue was pretty good but we will not be back for the awful service.
Good food to the point that I have a difficult time deciding what to get every time. So glad they are open for lunch again on weekdays! A little loud, but it's a bar, so no big surprise there. Service is usually good and portions are fairly priced. If bar food is your comfort food, Plymouth Tavern checks all the boxes.
Roscoe's is such a great spot in Harborcreek. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming weather you are there for casual night out or to catch up with friends it feels inviting and comfortable. I love seating on back patio when weather allows. The staff is friendly and attentive making you feel right at home. Every dish I've tried has been flavorful and generous portion. The kind of place you leave satisfied but already looking forward to your next visit. Harborcreek is lucky to have Rosco's.
Not only were the servers as incredible as always, but a chef named Kyle was one of the most personable people I have met! He came out to check on our food, cleared the area, and make friendly conversation. We love every moment at Rosco’s!!
If you like wings and want to feel at home you need to come to Chippers!!! The new owners are very welcoming and the wings are to die for!! The homemade ranch and dill dip I could drink with a straw!!! 5 star in my book!!!
Really great hole in the wall (in the best way possible). Atmosphere is inviting and the people are even more welcoming. The bartender, Jennifer, was so great. You could tell people came there to see her and I completely understand why. She has an incredibly warm and welcoming personality. I know if I lived close by, I would be spending WAY too much time here. Love it!
Serving wings in 150+ flavors, this airy, unassuming sports bar also offers pizza & burgers.
Best wings in the world!! You could go there almost every day for 2 months and not try all the flavors. Good cold beer prices!! Outstanding service even when busy. Sports bar. Only reason I gave 4 stars for atmosphere is that it can get pretty noisy. But hey, it's a sports bar!!
We stopped here for drinks and food on 7/3/25. There was a bike night sponsored by Erie Harley-Davidson going on with live music in the parking lot. I had the Halleberry wings (raspberry chipotle bbq and jalapeno flavor) and my wife had the Buffalo Ranch. They were cooked to perfection and very tasty. The Halleberry flavor is one of the best tasting sauces I have ever had. They have a lot of flavors to choose from. The fries were nice and crispy also. Good atmosphere and staff.
My experience at Oliver’s rooftop was very memorable. My waiter John was really awesome and fun, He remembered every detail of my order and really went above and beyond. I loved the Lobster & Shrimp Bisque soup, it was probably the best one I have ever tasted. The Salmon was good and served with very tasty rice. I would recommend the PARMESAN HERB-CRUSTED WALLEYE as it is a rare and delicious fish dish. The view of Lake Erie was Breathtakingly beautiful and I will definitely be back again soon!
Our 2nd time eating here! Absolutely outstanding service. Wait staff is superior to any other place we've eaten! Food is so well prepared and poised on the plate your liable to take photos before you eat, I did. We drove 80 minutes up to Eerie just to eat here again. We'll be back in 2 years when our event returns in 2027. If you go ask for John or Zach they are wonderfully caring people, who listen. We requested a window seat and John as our waiter. We got a wonderful seat at the window with our beloved waiter John.
The atmosphere here is consistently inviting and relaxed, making it a perfect spot to unwind and enjoy a great meal. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared, which makes it stand out from other places in the area. Beyond the menu, the crowd is always welcoming, creating a comfortable environment where you immediately feel at home. A special mention goes to bartender Dan, who elevates the entire experience. His professionalism, friendliness, and ability to craft excellent drinks ensure every visit feels personal and memorable. Whether you’re stopping in for a casual evening or a night out with friends, Dan’s attention to detail and genuine hospitality make a lasting impression. Overall, this is a place that combines great food, a warm atmosphere, and exceptional service—qualities that keep me coming back time and again.
Wanted to stick around for the place. Cleaner and nicer than I expected. Awesome they have NFL Sunday ticket. But unfortunately we left without ordering food. The $9.99 wing special drew us in but we left because the burgers are overpriced. $13.49 for the burger plus $2.50 for fries so $16 burger at a small corner dive bar? Really? You need to add just a cheeseburger for $10 or so. Too pricey for a corner bar… add another burger option to menu and trust me it’ll sell. The website Facebook description literally says good food at “very reasonable prices”. I’ve seen cheaper burgers at craft breweries and nice restaurants. Bartender was attentive. Plenty of games. Couple rowdy/loud patrons but no bad vibes. Might be back just for wings.
Pizza, wings & American mains in an unpretentious tavern setup with a pool table & TVs.
Great w/ awesome drink prices on bottle beer, pitchers & more. We had the beef nachos also, they were delicious. Bartender was amazing at a time when it was packed. Lots of TV's to watch football also. Great spot 🔥
Nice bar near Mercyhurst University. Crowd trends younger. The food is solid and the servers are attentive. The happy drink specials are also enticing. The place gets very loud sometimes which can be difficult for conversations. I had a salad which was well prepared and came out quickly. The steak wrap was also a popular choice at my table. Overall, a decent place for food and drinks.
Cavernous space for generous pizzas & burgers, plus alcoholic slushies & live music.
Pizza is awesome! Soooooo much cheese! Best pizza in Erie! Get here ASAP people! Blow the doors out on this place. You won’t be disappointed!
My husband and I NEVER go out. We came here for the first time to celebrate a family member turning 21! We went ahead of our party and grabbed some food before everyone else got there. We didn't know about the cover charge, but no problem, I guess. The food was GREAT! We had a large pepperoni pizza and some boneless wings. It was VERY yummy! We had a WONDERFUL server, not sure of her name, but she was so very kind and helpful! The drinks are pretty reasonably priced. We got a fish bowl for $15 and we loved the dollar shots with the glow sticks! A fun night for sure!
We love Oliver's. The beer garden is always a great time. We recently went for our Anniversary, had drinks in the garden then rooftop for dinner. The walleye was fresh and delicious. Also, the selection of draft beers is excellent. There was a 3 hour wait so we ate at the bar, so make reservations.
Very nice with live music. They have a good draft beer selection and my wife got a slushy she really liked. Prices were reasonable considering it is on the bay front. Id definitely go back but looking at the food id eat elsewhere. Not saying the food looked horrible but it was basically chicken nuggets and cheap burgers for big prices. The nuggets literally looked like Tyson chicken nuggets in my air fryer. Staff was kind, love music was great, there is an area to sit in the shade and the men's room was clean.
Hangout with an extensive beer selection & menu of elevated pub fare & pizza plus 2 outdoor patios.
The food was fresh hot and delicious , quiet atmosphere ,cold drinks ( it serves alcohol ) the soup was Tomato Gouda bisque and was outstanding . The sandwich was ham & turkey on toasted sourdough with Monterey Jack cheese . I will be eating here again . No WiFi detected , restrooms , high chairs .the Moscow mule was blueberry lemon . I can not remember the name of my drink , it was some form of a Mojito with tequila and muddled mint . Drinks are on point as is the food . The appetizer was spinach artichoke dip with toasted Pita points .
The food was fantastic! It's a little loud but adds to the experience. Tyler was a great server.
Great spot to watch a game. Wings were the best I’ve ever had. Seriously. Ask if Kenny is cooking. I got the Southwest Italian. That’s, garlic, parm and mesquite. Cooked and seasoned perfectly. Bartenders were very attentive and friendly. Stopped here based on a recommendation by Lex who is a server here whom my buddy and I met the night before. We will be back.
sunrise was so good my wings was extremely trash it's like you poured the whole bottle of BBQ sauce on 10 wings and they weren't even hot
Decided to give this place a try. Great place to relax and unwind Bartender Heather made me feel right at home. I’ll be back
The bartender Heather is smoking hot and professional. My friend and I enjoyed our time there but the drinks were a bit pricey.
Food was very good! Ordered a 10 piece wing, I got 9, and the piece of the wing nobody eats. Felt a little jipped, but the quality made up for it so I didn’t mention it. Been here a few times, One of my favorite spots for pizza and wings otherwise! Covered outdoor dining area is a plus! Especially with it being a cigarette friendly bar. Service was dope though! Very friendly, and welcoming! Definitely will return, pleased overall!
We went here to eat, it was late but online it said the kitchen was open til midnight. We found out quickly that the kitchen had closed at 10. The bartender explained they had been short staffed lately & had to close kitchen early. She was super nice though, giving us the names of a few other places to try. We plan on going back, heard they have good food.
Best bar and grill in town. They have the best kitchen staff in town hands down! The barkeeps are always the best from slow hours to busy hours they always take great care of the patrons! The new paved patio is amazing to kick back and enjoy! They have cornhole and darts and even a trash can league and even a party room to accommodate parties! Food menu is amazing tons of choices especially wing flavors! I suggest the new zesty peanut butter if your a peanut butter person and the K's Kicks and honey BBQ are my 3 go to. I have been a patron here with great experiences I love this place and so will you! Don't believe me go check it out for yourself!!
They had the air conditioner cranked all the way up so it was freezing in there, even though the place wasn't crowded nor was it that warm outside. I've encountered the same bartender a couple of times and even though she is SUPER nice she is extremely slow at her job 😕
Laid-back alehouse hosts live bands & serves American fare such as jumbo sandwiches & steaks.
We had a wonderful meal, and an exceptional view of the marina. Thanks to Darla for the exemplary service. We had a chicken Parm sandwich, a grouper entree and the crab cakes sandwich. Everythis was devoured. The potato chips are delicious. Our food was so tasty! Love the vibe here.
This place was beautiful because it was right on the water. The atmosphere is so nice because you get to choose between the quiet deck on the water and the little cabanas. They also hold live music nights for $7 a person where you can get drinks and enjoy. They also have souvenirs that you can buy. I got myself a coffee mug. I ended up ordering the Mahi-Mahi fish with asparagus and nashed potatoes and my friend got the Walleye with chips. Food is pricy but 100% worth it! Such a great place and I give it five stars!
Scenic Setting, Hardworking Staff – Worth the Wait We visited Rum Runners on July 14, 2025, and while the experience came with a wait, it was still a memorable evening. When we arrived, all tables were full and only two servers on duty—our server immediately apologized and let us know some staff hadn’t shown up. Despite that, she absolutely hustled all night long with a great attitude. Major props for her effort! Yes, it took two hours, but we didn’t mind. The beautiful patio setting right on the water made for a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere while we waited. The food was just okay—mostly fried and a limited menu—but we went in expecting that. Nothing fresh. For us, it was more about the vibe and view, and on that front, it delivered. Several boats arrived at the patio dock and docked while we were there. Fun to watch them come and go. Prices were reasonable, and the staff did their best under pressure. If you go, go for the setting—and bring a little patience just in case. Parking was easy and convenient. Sunset was amazing afterwards too!
We were visiting Erie, PA and decided on Rum Runners for a late lunch because it has seating right on the waterfront looking out to Presque Isle. We both ordered perch and French fries, which were very good. The restaurant is all part of the Bicentennial Tower complex in Erie, which is a must see if you are in the area. Our server was very pleasant and attentive to our table and we had a good experience while enjoying the view. Check out the "pirate ship" that swung by while we were eating.
My favorite bar & grill when visiting Erie. Fast friendly service, nice atmosphere, a great place to relax after a long day. Real people, really cold beer, what more could you ask for?
I used to love this bar I've been coming here since I was 21 but Melissa always scams me when she knows you are a little tipsy and she has done this more than once she scammed me out of 40 dollars last night I won't be going back! I like Danny and vonnie but stay away from the scam artist Melissa
Rustic roadhouse hosting live country bands & serving a pub-grub menu centered on chicken wings.
Our first time at Doc Holliday’s and pleased to find the food and service were both great. A wide and varied menu. The only caveat, you having to be willing to put up with smoking or the lingering effects of those who do. Otherwise, a nice place!
Nice, laid back atmosphere, great prices. It was actually the same or cheaper than back home, and we're already dirt cheap. The bartender was a really great bartender. Friendly and very attentive. (Jen, I think?)
We had the IC burgers and they were amazing. I didn't notice how smoky it was inside until I got home. I wish the exhaust was better. Very roomy inside, though. My first time there and I was surprised. I'd consider going back for sure!
We go here often because it's close and the food is usually pretty good. Today didn't disappoint. Bartender Marty was in a good mood and friendly and we ordered the taco special 3 for 3$ , grilled chicken salad and combo tacos. Everything was tasty...my son loves the grilled chicken salad and I devoured the combo balls so crispy and sinful! The tacos were light on ingredients but for the price they were good. We enjoyed the patio until we got attacked by 4 hornets and had to finish eating inside which we don't really enjoy the inside due to the degree of cigarette smoke and smell. If it wasn't for the smoking we would visit regularly and bring the whole family often but unfortunately cannot bring anyone under 18 for the kitchen dining even though the sign says family dining and patio is seasonal and too many bugs/hornets ( that parts not their fault but couldn't escape inside if we had kids with us is).. overall could be a nice dining place/bar /restaurant with good food if they got rid of the smoking.
First time here. I had heard of this place on Facebook. We like trying new places that serve bar food . Basic bar food. It was okay the pretzels were a little over done. It happens. The bartender was a bit busy. It was around 7:30 on Saturday night. Not very welcoming. Didn't check up on us unless we flagged her down. The person that brought the food out was very nice and appreciated the cash tip handed to him at the time.
It's a good low key cash only bar. It is a smoking bar. Great for 3rd shifters as they open at 7am
This place is a lot of fun! There are tons of Japanese-themed items throughout, and the food is excellent. The games are enjoyable, and the bowling area is nice—even though our lane broke down twice. The only downside is that it gets very crowded, so definitely keep that in mind when wanting to come here there’s so much to do in here your probably not gonna be able to hit everything in one visit
Matty and Will are exemplary employees of the highest magnitude. If I ever have children they will be named after these two employees, regardless of the child's gender.
This place is a true gem. Was in town for work, and had four nights to go out to eat and get some drinks. Each night I came to Rack and Roll. The bartenders at least the ones I met, (Mike, Megan, Pearl, and Maddie) were super nice and great at their job. The atmosphere is wonderful with a true mix of people from all walks of life coming in for a drink, to sing a song, grab a bite, play some darts, or just have a great conversation. I will definitely be back to this establishment every time I have the chance, and highly suggest all of you to do the same. Karaoke every night from 930 on, and Kitchen is open til 11 I think. You're missing out if you don't go here!
Rack & Roll is one of my favorite places to go! Very affordable drinks and food on top of free karaoke!! It’s such a fun atmosphere to be in
We sat at the bar. Me, my wife and our 10 y/o. Quietly watching the game. Our server/bartender was awesome! 222. After the manager passed us 5 times he decided on the sixth time to tell us the liquor board doesn’t allow minors to eat at the bar. So we had to move. No big deal except for the fact that the manager was oblivious of the laws and said the liquor board doesn’t allow minors to sit at the bar and eat food. Look it up sir, you don’t know what you’re talking about. If you have your own rules that’s fine, but don’t lie and be ignorant. We ended up eating elsewhere. 222 you were the highlight, thank you for being so cool. Brandy 222
For an out-of-the-way place, this is a great spot. Top-notch service, some of the best wings I've ever had, and great prices as well. It's more sports bar than family restaurant, but wouldn't worry about bringing kids along if you're staying at the attached hotel. Spectacular wings tho. Would happily go back again.
Long-running Pittsburgh-born chain known for its sandwiches piled high with coleslaw & french fries.
First time customer very friendly service. Great sandwiches. I always wanted to go there. So glad it finally happened. Alabama to North West Pennsylvania thanks
It was okay. Our waitress was lovely and did a great job. We opened our silverware and it was very dirty (i understand they wash a lot so some could get through, but all of ours was this way). The manager brought us more but we were more comfortable eating with wrapped plasticware. I ate a salad and it was fine but i constantly was anxious that if the silverware was that dirty, then how dirty were the dishes we were eating off of? I don't believe we will be back. It's difficult to get past the mental block.
The atmosphere & staff are amazing. My drink is always perfect and the food is really good too! Happy hour is 4-6pm❤️I’ll definitely be back!
It was so busy when I went to have dinner recently, but we didn't have to wait long before we got service and we didn't have to wait long for our food!! The burgers and fries were delicious!! It was a different kind of burger than I'm used to (SPICY!) BUT MY GOODNESS WAS IT GOOD! There was a band performing and lots of people dancing and enjoying themselves. The live music is on the second floor where there is seating for groups etc. and there is a large bar as well. If you can't quite handle an excessive amount of stairs you could always Park so that you are entering directly into Bullfrogs. The plaza loops all the way around but it's not quite connected so parking can be rather difficult to say the least. It's honestly easier to park off site because this location gets so busy. The Crown Billiards are downstairs along with Andy's Pub. There's a lot to experience! I look forward to going back to shoot some pool!
This place has gone downhill. Lost a few good bartenders and patrons. Stopped by early on a Thursday and still charging a cash entrance fee. No thanks. Plus I can never get a good Manhattan here. Don't bother.
bartenders and staff are great people, food and drinks pretty good too but one thing i just cannot get into is the damn music like idk if im just not of erie's culture but I expected more 90s-00s house/vogue and techno stuff but all they played was top 40 overplayed pop. i think I might go try STIMcity instead or something idk sorry :/
Nice historical building , nice neighborhood corner tavern but a long ways away from an American Irish pub.. more like a 1900,s Americana tavern. The bartender was very attentive. Cheers! ……. Follow me in my travels on Instagram #mylifemyterms55
Though we probably didn’t visit at the best time of day or year, we had a really good experience at Sullivan’s. As a Philly native, their cheesesteak was surprisingly good. The bartender was very friendly and gave good bar suggestions for other places in Erie. The atmosphere wasn’t great though, I think the AC was busted so it was super hot, and the helipad across the street is very loud. Still a really cool divey Irish pub with great food.
American grill fare & 150+ beers at this longtime hangout with pool tables, lots of TVs & free WiFi.
As long as you don't HAVE to deal with the mgr due for an issue, you'll have a fine time. The bartenders are friendly, especially when you become a regular. The tuna melt w potato salad is my favorite meal. One can play pool as well or watch the game on many TVs there, even while playing pool. It's my local pub! 🙂
Amazing people working here, very friendly and helpful. Great food, awesome $5 lunch specials every day except Sundays. The portions for the lunch specials are super good. Inside is pretty nice. A really good place to play some pool. I recommend giving them a shot, you won't be disappointed!
It is THE CLEANEST bar in Erie by far. They did an amazing remodel of the bar, but kept parts the same. The kitchen is also the cleanest, most organized, kitchen I’ve seen in almost 20 years of being in the industry. Amazing food, good specials, and amazing people ❤️
I did the work on this bar when it changed hands to the new owners. The new owners are all about making it a great place to hangout and enjoy food, music and friends. The food is great, they have a special almost daily and it will get out of the kitchen fast. It has pa skill games to play, pool table, darts and more. The bathrooms are super clean as the whole bar is . And you will never have to worry about cops driving around the bar. Quite neighborhood. Weekend they have door men that check everyone for safety reasons they want a clean and happy place to have fun
I thought Uptown Browns was an excellent place to go and have a drink. The bartenders there are excellent and sweethearts I I I had a great girl was serving us and she was absolutely wonderful. I would recommend this place to anybody that's cool with a local flavor and down to hang out with just anybody because we all get along better when we all do it together!
Neighborhood hole in the wall watering hole. I loved it. The folks were nice. The drinks were better. They serve food but I didn't eat. It looked good though. I always wanna come back here when in town. If you are bothered by smoke,ya might not wanna come here.
This is such a hidden gem! Best bartenders, Heidi, Cindy, Tara,Jess! They not only take care of your orders, but get to know you. It’s Eries Cheers. Everyone knows everyone and is more than fun♥️ I love my bar♥️♥️♥️
Youre average run of the mill bar but when Tara works....OH SO MUCH FUN!!
