Great vibe, loved spinning the wheel. Didn't play any, but the video games on the TVs in the booths were cool. Def gonna check those out next time. Not a smoker but upstairs is the smoking bar and they had some arcade type games up there. Rly sick atmosphere
Excellent place for beer downtown - I really liked the server on the first floor and honestly am sad that both the York and Mechanicsburg locations closed - there’s a certain charm to the bar here that feels unique and I couldn’t recommend it more as a casual experience! I’m pretty sure they have more than one floor(?) and the 2nd floor looks to be a smoking area - but there’s also games and etc up there. Definitely a strong recommendation!
Was just passing through Harrisburg and decided to stop at JB Lovedeafts for lunch with a friend—glad we did. We tried the Hot Ranch wings (highly recommend) and the When Pigs Fly sandwich, which looked so good we didn’t even pause for a photo. The combo of Alabama white sauce and thick Texas Toast? Perfect. Shoutout to our bartender, Ashley, who was awesome with recommendations and made the whole experience even better. Definitely adding this place to the list for future road trip stops.
Great brewpub in the city. It has a very unique style but don’t let that influence your decision to give it a try. They have a huge selection of beer and cocktails. The bartenders on the ground floor were super friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We didn’t eat, but the food poured out of the back the entire time we were there and it looked amazing. They have live entertainment on weekends and karaoke a few times a week. Ground floor has retro video games at the tables. Second floor has skills machines and a smoking bar. Didn’t make it up to the third level.
Hands down the best bar in Harrisburg. I always like coming here for drinks after work, especially on their rooftop patio, but I recently placed a large order of tater tots for my birthday party and they absolutely nailed it. Right on time, generous portion and very reasonably priced. This place just kills it every time.
