We came here on a Saturday and were pleasantly surprised that they have happy hour 4-6. We ordered a bunch of apps to share and the shark bite shots. The food was very good and fresh. The wings were also only .50 because the Phillies were playing. They were very meaty and a good amount of spice. Our bartender Victorand Bre were awesome and super friendly. We would definitely come back.

Great view of any TV in the place. Staff is very helpful in making you feel welcomed and making sure you're watching the game(s) you'd like to see. We only had appetizers, but I'm quite sure the menu is full of great selections

Fabrika 4.9 (3,420)

1108 Frankford Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19125, USA

Recent Reviews:

Samantha3a week ago

I’d been wanting to see a burlesque show for a while, so when we found Fabrika in PA—with tons of 5-star reviews for food and entertainment—we booked the front-row sofa experience. I was excited, expecting a fun and memorable night. The venue itself was cool at first glance—industrial with velvet sofas and chandeliers giving it a unique vibe. The stage, however, was surprisingly tiny, about the size of a banquet table. Still, I was eager to see how the night would unfold. Unfortunately, things started going downhill quickly. Service was extremely slow. We arrived at 6pm for a 7pm show, when the place was practically empty, yet it took forever for our waitress to even acknowledge us. We eventually had to ask another server to send her over. Because of the wait, we ordered drinks two at a time just to avoid being left hanging. The burrata salad appetizer was good, but that’s hard to mess up. Then the roof started leaking—right on us and our table. And this was the most off-putting part of the entire night. Not one person came to apologize or offer to move us, comp something, or even acknowledge the issue. Our waitress simply pushed our table and sofa back a little and said, “Here you go,” while a bucket sat on stage catching the water. It felt like we weren’t valued as guests at all. Dinner came out surprisingly fast—faster than we could get a drink—which made the pacing feel rushed and disjointed. DO NOT ORDER THE GNOCCHI. I'm not sure what it was but it tasted like an instant onion soup in a package that they added hot water and dropped some big frozen gnoochi in and sprinkle parley on top to make it look fancy. We also had the branzino, too and that was so dry. As for the show, it was a mixed bag. A couple of acts were impressive and athletic, but others fell flat. The inconsistency in performances mirrored the overall experience: promising on the surface, but lacking in follow-through. Overall, what could have been a really fun night ended up being disappointing. Between the poor service, roof leak with zero apology, and uneven entertainment, I don’t see us returning. Fabrika has the potential to be great, but they need to step up food quality, service, and hospitality if they want to match the price tag and expectations.

I had a reservation for their Bridgerton Brunch. When I walked in I was greeted with a beautiful smile and a complimentary glass of champagne. The venue is beautiful and the wait staff is attentive, kind, and very knowledgeable about their drinks and food. I would have been pleasantly happy with just that but the show that came after was AMAZING. Each performer shows true dedication to their craft and were so entertaining. I can't wait to book the next one!

PHILADELPHIA, PA: we love ourselves a good dive bar and McCusker's Tavern perfectly fits the bill! The building has been an Irish bar since 1907 and McCusker’s took it over in 1968. You can feel the Philly pride in here - the walls are full of Philadelphia sports memorabilia, band posters, beer signs, and has the feel of a hometown bar. Jessie, the bartender, let us know that leashed and friendly dogs are allowed inside and that you can bring your own food (they formerly served food, but have since stopped). We had a great time watching college basketball on their big screen TV, checking out original game-used stadium seating from the now demolished Veterans Stadium, and played some old-school games in the back. They will have game nights weekly.

Im glad we stumbled into this one. The beers are good and cheap, the atmosphere is nice and the bar staff are friendly. The beers ended up being some of the cheaper drafts we have had with some good beers as low as $6 which you dont see often. We stuck up some conversations with the bartenders and they gave us some recommendations for later. I didnt check if there was more seating in the back but the front is pretty much all bar seating or wall seating so maybe not a great spot for large groups but good for a solo or partner to grab a drink with. Overall a cool place for a good cheap beer.

Service was great. Food was delicious. Prices are very reasonable! Atmosphere is hip and fun. You definitely need a reservation for a weekend. We came here after seeing a show at the Kimmel center and we were very happy with our choice! Also they have a Japanese heated toilet seat. What more could you want?

Wow! The food here was amazing. The pad thai was the best I’ve had and was very flavorful. The panang curry was also good. I got spice level 2 and both dishes were just a little under spicy for me. The star of the show was the curry puffs. Next time I go I will definitely be ordering more than 2. The staff here were very attentive and polite. The service was quick and our food came out shortly after we ordered. The restaurant itself is adorable inside and I loved the decorations and the tableware. I can’t wait to go back.

This spot is perfect for a date night or if you’re just in the mood to treat yourself to an exceptional cocktail experience. The vibe is relaxed yet stylish, and the staff couldn’t be more friendly or knowledgeable. Absolutely loved my time here and can’t wait to come back for more. Highly, highly recommend!

We absolutely stumbled upon this gem. I think I searched the word “cocktails” and wanted something really good quality in a comfortable setting. This place is easy to miss and we actually thought it was closed. But don’t give up! It’s like a hidden nook and the drinks are so unique and delicious. The bartender is mesmerizing to watch putting so much detail and care into every single drink. He was friendly and gave us the best restaurant recommendation (pub & kitchen). I loved the vibe and decor in here. It would be a great pre dinner drinks spot or to meet for a date.

I had an amazing experience at South Restaurant in Philadelphia! From start to finish, everything exceeded my expectations. The ambiance was everything!!!!! The cornbread was absolutely unforgettable; warm, buttery, and packed with flavor. The chicken was seasoned down to the bone, so much so that at one point I felt like I was back home in Jamaica enjoying a home cooked meal. On top of the incredible food, the service was top-notch. My server, Markeith, was a true gem; attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect. South Restaurant is definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for delicious food and great vibes in Philly!

We had another phenomenal experience at South Jazz Kitchen Club! I ordered the buttermilk fried chicken with sweet potatoes and smoked collard greens, while my wife had the smoked jerk turkey wings with creole rice & beans and collard greens. We also shared the mac & cheese and cornbread—everything was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. The service was exceptional. We arrived late without a reservation after another restaurant plan fell through, and they still found a way to seat us outside on a beautiful night. The atmosphere was superb—great food, great service, and a warm, welcoming vibe that made for a perfect date night. Every visit here has been consistently excellent, and this one was no exception. South Jazz Kitchen Club always delivers, and I’ll continue to recommend it to anyone looking for amazing food and a great experience in Philly!

This was a fun find! Multiple floors of bars and seating. Awesome vibe! The food was great and service really friendly. The fish and chips were great! Didn't care for the caramel tart dessert, but it wasn't bad, just not what I was expecting. The seating was nice and comfortable. The only negative was the dust everywhere. It's a very dark place in general and gives the place a great vibe, but please dust more.

This place was adorable. The cocktails were delicious and the atmosphere was eclectic. I’m gluten free and went with the tandoori chicken. Stopped in to Grace & Proper for cocktails and they were all amazing! I started with an espresso martini. Rich, creamy and not too sweet. Just how I like it. I then had a tequila drink - the sumo de manga. This was fantastic. It was well balanced and fruity with the dried mangoes in it. My friend had the special ghost in the machine cocktail which featured pumpkin, white negroni and mezcal. The flavors all worked well together, she ordered a second one. I will absolutely come back in the future!

I stopped into Grace and Proper, a charming little cocktail bar tucked into the Italian Market, and it was such a great experience. Ray and Jesamay were incredibly warm and welcoming, and they crafted me a perfectly balanced Corpse Reviver that was packed with flavor. To pair with it, I chose the vegan baguette, which was fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. The vibe here is relaxed and cozy, an ideal spot to unwind in between exploring the market. If you’re doing a tour of the Italian Market, I definitely recommend adding this stop to your list. It’s got that mix of great drinks, good food, and genuinely kind service that makes you want to come back.

Went here for the first time for a late night meal on a Sunday. They have options for both omnivores and vegans. When we got there everyone was sitting at the bar and no one was in the dining room. We chose to eat at a high top in the bar area. As the night went on people came in and sat in the dining room. I ordered the vegan boudin balls and sweet corn succotash. My friend, who isn’t vegan, had the jambalaya and the surf and turf po boy. The boudin balls weren’t as flavorful as I would have hoped. The succotash on the other hand was delicious. I ate every last drop. It had so much flavor. When vegetables taste like that more people will eat them. My friend really enjoyed his food. The meat in the po boy was tender and the jambalaya had just the right amount of spice. I ordered the vegan bananas foster dessert to go. They packed it well with all the fixings in separate containers. I ended up not eating it until a couple days later so that may have played into the taste. It was just ok. I wouldn’t necessarily need to get it again. All in all this is a good spot to go late in the evening when you are looking for a decent meal.

Beautiful bar! The homemade charcuterie board was delicious. The cocktails were unique and delightful! The only thing that was disappointing was that the bartenders seemed distracted and couldn't wait to go home although it was still early. This bar is in a pricey area, but they have a happy hour from 4–6 PM at the bar and patio, which is a nice deal. It gets really crowded and loud on Fridays, and the space is small and tight. The oysters are super fresh with a great kick of Tabasco and lemon. Portions are generous and prices reasonable for happy hour. The Cobb salad was fresh and tasty. Service was attentive and friendly. I liked the bar vibe but wish they had a fresh seafood display like Oyster House or Pearl & Mary. It would’ve added to the experience.

I heard a lot about this place, but thought it was going to be grungy inside. It’s the exact opposite. It’s really cute and fun inside. I definitely was sleeping on this place. Went here on the late night on a holiday nonetheless and the food and service was on point. They cater to mixed diets which is great since I’m vegan and my friend isn’t. We both ordered the corn dogs as starters. He had the Nashville hot chicken sandwich and I had the Beyond Mom’s Vegan Burger. We shared some fries. To drink we both had the Tiki Kitty. I never had a corn dog before and enjoyed it and so did my friend. He really liked his Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich. At first he didn’t think it was that spicy, but the spice kicked in and he was like I feel the heat now. I was worried my beyond burger was going to feel like something I eat at home, but they put their own spin on it and it was yummy. The Tiki Kittys were good, but I can’t say I tasted the liquor like that. This is a great option for reasonable food and it’s great they are open late.

Cool bar I stopped in for a drink and a rest. They were already on my list due to their menu. I should've come the previous night for those perogies. Their veggie/vegan menu gets plenty of good reviews and I'm really disappointed I didn't order any food when I was there. I was still hungover and needed a liquid lunch instead. It was early and the few people there were mostly for said food. Service was good and attentive. I liked their golden bar top, and could see the future drunken pictures of me in their go-kart. I didn't get a chance to check out the upstairs area. They also have daily specials which would keep me coming back.

i love this place! this is my neighborhood spot--truly has some of the best bartenders in the city and a diverse clientele. i've had many, many interesting conversations here with both staff and patrons and have also met many new friends. and they serve their citywide ($5) (which they invented btw) with a PBR ($3 a can), which is the superior choice. i'm a single woman and usually go to this bar alone. whenever i've had problems with men here (happens from time to time, not the bar's fault), the bartenders have ALWAYS had my back (shout out to my girl, Kelly!!) both of the doormen do an excellent job of keeping things safe and in control inside the bar too. the food from their restaurant next door is exactly what you need after a night of drinking, and the events B&B holds are the shit. they have the best karaoke night in the city, and the drag night is absolutely worth checking out. the live music and dj's also never disappoint. and during football season, they have the games on (go birds!) it's a classic dive bar, maybe one of THE dives in the city. a MUST visit for any dedicated PBR-head. 10/10. oh! and also the bathrooms are clean!!!! what more could you want?? ps. it's cash only but there is an atm inside

Great place! Ambiance is as close to perfect as you can get. This is a perfect location for meeting friends with a really nice cocktail in your hand or for sitting quietly and enjoying a book with a really nice cocktail in your hand. In fact, it's the first place I've ever felt comfortable just sitting quietly and reading a book by myself, and the cocktails were delicious. The bartenders are so so pleasant and accommodating. It's expensive (I forgot how expensive it was. I spent $30 on one drink. It was absolutely delicious though!), but the whole experience is worth it. Can't wait to go back!

Intimate comedy club, reserved seats are best! Hospitality front door to seating was top notch. (Aries Spears show) The food was basic American fare. The beverages were good & tasty! Good shows and I'll be back for future shows. June 2025 : Deon Cole show - The venue handles rescheduling thus show from January very professionally! The show and accommodations were awesome once again.

Great performance during an Aries Spears show. Great small environment in a good Philly neighborhood. The staff and service was really good and the seating is really good no matter where you sit. I highly recommend this place.

Josette, Ian, and the whole crew at Trestle did a great job hosting us for our welcome party. Our guests had an awesome time - they loved the go go dancers and Lola Kinks was spinning all the best hits. The food was delicious and the cocktails were spectacular as always. Hidden gem with top-tier cocktails! The Ransdell Room is a true speakeasy experience—intimate, moody, and full of character. We didn’t have to wait long to get in, and it was totally worth it. We went with the bartender’s choice, and the server asked a few quick questions to learn our flavor preferences. The drinks they came back with? Spot on. Perfectly crafted, unique, and tailored to our tastes. Definitely one of the best cocktail experiences we’ve had in Atlanta. Highly recommend for a lowkey date night or a chill evening out.

Such a cool spot to enjoy some amazing cocktails in such a cozy atmosphere. The menu is simple but diverse, but what I thought is really cool is the last option is tell the bartender what you like and he will create you a drink which my fiancé did. Our bartender Sam hit it out of the park with her likes, and I ordered the La Intensa which could have been one of the best cocktails I’ve ever had it was beyond delicious. I will be returning for that drink, Sam’s experience, and an awesome atmosphere

We booked a table on a whim not knowing what to expect. We had three kids (ages 4-12) and four adults. It’s hard finding a place where literally everyone can enjoy their time. This is the place. Tyler our server was BEYOND excellent. But really the entire staff was amazing. Warm, welcoming, and cool. The food is great, the drinks are great, and our party was treated with so much kindness. The rate for a private table is well worth it if you want an hour of relaxation and fun for everyone. Thank you SPIN!

Monmouth Dog NJ58 months ago

PHILADELPHIA, PA: we love a dog friendly bar and The Dive Bar is one of the most unique we have been to! Leashed and friendly dogs are welcome on all three floors with the bar being on the 1st level, a smoking area on the 2nd, and a pool table and games on the 3rd. Dive is the right name for this bar (and we love it) having been around for a while, dark lighting, wood paneling, and walls that have probably seen thousands of patrons walk through the doors and up the stairs. The bartenders are great, prices are good, and Happy Hour is Monday-Sunday from 5-7pm with $3 draughts. There are also a couple of TVs to watch the game in this sports city!

The atmosphere is what drew us to standard tap. The outside looks like a cute German pub and and inside is wooden tavern with warm lighting. The staff was pretty friendly and when we asked for a single drink between the two of us, they gave us two smaller glasses and split it which was nice. The beer itself was good. Nothing amazing but also pretty solid. The hazy was fresh and had a decent amount of haze. Overall a pretty good spot

M. Beren Reeder32 months ago

I loved the atmosphere immediately. Great vibe but we were obviously earlier than the crowd and weren't greeted properly. Just wandered around and found a waitress. There is an upstairs bar too. The food was trying hard to be more upscale but failed in execution for a number of reasons. First every ingredient doesn't necessarily have to be listed on the menu, but tree nuts should not be a surprise. My wife got the beet salad and it had Macadamia nuts in it. Also it was lacking the one thing I want in a Beet salad, beets! My niece got the burger and she liked it, said the cheese was tasty. I don't think the pretzel bun was very pretzel. I just had a small plate because honestly nothing on the menu appealed to me. It was a very thin slice of ham with brie and peaches. It could have been good but the peaches were tasteless and the ham pretty much non existent. I heard the drinks were okay. I don't know. Seemed like a great neighborhood bar to hang with friends but wouldn't make a special trip or anything. I did get an appetizer that was okay. Potato balls fried. A bit pricey for what it is.

female bartender was very friendly and welcoming, food was excellent! The misses and myself had their version of the impossible burger and the hummus platter and tater tots. The only bad experience was the male bartender who was working kept skipping over everyone's songs on the jukebox so he could play what he wanted to hear. Very unprofessional but we didn't let him ruin our night and we will definitely be back again! Ethan the bartender is amazing! We had a wonderful dinner at Harp & Crown. We ordered the mushroom and truffle pizza, lamb meatballs, rigatoni pasta, and grilled octopus, along with their Sansom Spirit cocktail. Everything was excellent and the pizza, in particular, was outstanding: a perfectly baked Neapolitan pie with a thin crust and a rich mushroom-truffle flavor. The grilled octopus and meatballs were also delicious, and the cocktail complemented the meal nicely. The ambience was warm and inviting, and the place was clearly popular as it was lively and bustling throughout the evening. A great spot for both food and atmosphere!

Went back recently. They are understaffed on a Friday night and the service shows. Staff is doing their best but it’s slipping. We ordered starters but all the food came out kind of at once, apps, mains…last dish out was the salad. Fries were lukewarm. And it’s LOUD. We probably won’t return. Outstanding pub. The food is decent for brunch with a wide variety - but it’s pretty dark inside given the atmosphere (think like an English or Irish pub vibe). That said, they had a musician come in to sing jazz and play the keyboard, which was LOVELY. A very good brunch vibe, just wish it were a little more well lit.

Rebecca Szydlowski5a week ago

I went here for Brunch with a few friends and the Twisted Tail was definitely worth it. The menu is extensive enough to cater to all different types of food palattes. They also have Champange sundays which was fun in which you pay 20 bucks for a bottle of champagne and the juice is free. They offer non-alcholic drinks as well, which were a bit pricey, but gives another option for people if they do not wish to drink. The food came out quickly and all tasted delicious. I like the el, but... It's your average dive bar. I will say it seems like they've gotten it together a bit in terms of being a better business, having better drink choices etc etc. But.. it doesn't offer much food choices, which comes up as one of the top choices in Philly for food and drinks. But that isn't their fault, they're your top tier, average dive bar. It was karaoke night tonight. But, there is at least a very nice back area to escape to 😅

I love that they have a rooftop. Great atmosphere. Came here the other day with some friends. The service was great and the food was delicious. "Danny"(the owner) welcomed us whole heartly and very friendly. We had the green curry Mussels (tasted great), side of French fries, Tuscan cream orecchiette with grilled chicken was my favorite bc of the creamy taste and it was spicy very delicious. And for dessert we had a Blueberry cheesecake springroll and side of ice cream. Everything was great. "Gp" the manager took our order and he was very friendly, he made sure we got everything sorted and everyone had their order. Overall our experience here was great and will return soon to try some of their cocktails. 🍸

If you’re looking for great live music and drinks, Time is definitely a spot to check out in Philly. I honestly don’t have anything negative to say about my experience. The Bartender was attentive and made great drinks, the music was AMAZING, and the food was pretty good! It’s a great chill date spot in Center City and even if you just want to go for the music, each time I’ve been there it’s been great!

TIME is one of those spots that consistently holds up, whether you’re starting the night or winding it down. It tends to fill up quickly on weekends—especially Fridays and Saturdays—and there’s typically a cover charge, which is in line with what you might expect at most jazz venues (at least the ones I’ve been to). The drinks are solid—based on the few bartenders I’ve ordered from—and the food, while not much to rave over— gets the job done. The live music and mature crowd make this a reliable option when you’re looking for a good time with substance! If you’re into live jazz, decent bites, and want a laid-back but lively evening, TIME is worth checking out.

The cheese pizza was genuinely the best I’ve ever had: thin crust, crunchy (not burnt), and the perfect sauce-to-cheese ratio. I ended up ordering a full-size one after trying the happy hour slice. Philly egg rolls were also good. Service was slow but friendly. Parking is tough, and the music is pretty loud, but it’s a fun sports bar vibe overall. Worth it for the food

Pretty cool place to have a drink & taste some Asian infused bar food. The Peking Bao Bun sliders we're my favorite of the things I sampled. The bun was so soft & yummy! The crab ravioli was just 'okay'. I'm not sure, yet if I liked the dipping sauce it came with it not.

So I’m a bartender full time. Had two drinks from mini golf down the street. Walked in to this place and was told the manager i was interested in food and she flipped her switch and was like we’re not gunna be able to serve you anything. Food or alcohol. Told her we were just gonna get food and was like oh no. So we Went a good dog down the street. Way better. They served us food and beer right away within 10 minutes. Never going back to Locust rendezvous… terrible. They need some new staff because that lady was waiting at the front to turn people away. They don’t want money I guess. Tipped my Good Dog server 50% because Locust rendezvous sucked so bad. Good luck with this place all.

I am just a random dude from Iowa that took a random trip to Philly.... and I ended up going here literally everyday... loved this place... this is a dive bar, but a perfect dive bar... in the morning it was great meeting all the regulars, and at night it was fun seeing the party crowd... New Years Eve was awesome but New Years day was also a surprise, as the Mummers Parade made it special... the owner who was so very nice but forgot her name is a character was so nice... being from Iowa I come from the land of 3rd shift cash only bars that open at 6am... so this place felt like home.... and prices are amazingly affordable for their location.... I highly recommend...

Dropped by Oscar's Tavern on a Friday night and was pleasantly surprised by the cheesesteak! The atmosphere felt homey, reminiscent of Ireland. The peppers cheesesteak came with three pieces and was deliciously cheesy. I'm not a fan of thick-cut fries, but these were crispy and well done! I’ll definitely return for a night out with friends.

This was my first time, both in Philly and this restaurant. The cheesesteak was awesome. The steak was not overly, or underlay cooked. It was cooked just so well that this needs to be a reference point. The staff were amazing. The beer was ice cold. Would definitely come again. Thank you all 🍻😂🍺👍😁

This is my first time visiting Philadelphia and I must say the food here is so good!! Chickie’s and Pete’s added on to my satisfaction. We wanted to eat somewhere special in Philadelphia and we were lucky to find this incredible tavern. The food was fantastic and very reasonably priced. The drinks were great! Everyone was really nice especially Shana our bartender! This will be our go-to place whenever we're in Philadelphia! Thanks!

We had a nice time at McGillins. The staff was friendly and didn’t have any issues. We popped in on a Sunday afternoon for drinks. My wife got a cocktail she really enjoyed. I did the beer sampler. The value was great I think $11 or so for the sampler with you get to choose a few of those. I’m not a huge beer guy in general and didn’t love any of the beers but enjoyed the experience. Think they could’ve been a little colder. We did get a koozie for our collection and the vibes were great inside. Definitely worth checking out.

I had high hopes for this spot—the atmosphere is absolutely beautiful. It’s a relaxing and quiet place, even when it gets packed, which made for a pleasant dining experience. The staff were wonderful: attentive, friendly, and always checking in to make sure we were comfortable. Service was definitely one of the highlights. The food, unfortunately, didn’t live up to its presentation. We tried a variety of dishes from their menu, which they have other menu for vegetarian and gluten-free options—something I appreciated for accessibility. That said, the quality and flavor were hit or miss. The kimchi rice unexpectedly came with shrimp, which wasn’t listed on the menu, and it lacked flavor. The broccoli was bland, and the noodles were dry with barely any seasoning. On the brighter side, the chicken on a stick and the bun sandwich were both excellent—full of flavor and perfectly cooked. Those two dishes really stood out. Their drink menu is surprisingly more extensive than their food offerings, and the drinks themselves were great. One thing to note: they need to keep a card on file for an open tab, which could be a small inconvenience depending on your visit. Overall, while the service and drinks were impressive, I wouldn’t return for the food. It looks much better than it tastes.

SUMMARY: Overall the food presentation was nicely done, but I wish the tasted matched for most of the items! My wife and I went out to dinner and we each got their loaded potato soup, then split an order of nachos and a bacon cheeseburger. I would return back simply for the burger and to try a few other menu items, but there are definitely some things to watch for - including the deteriorating ceiling in the rear corner of the restaurant where someone placed an old fish tank in effort to collect the rusty water and plaster falling and blend it into the eclectic decor (photos attached). SERVICE: Dinner rush service was interesting to observe, from the entry point staff seemed to have some great conversations that, at times, took priority over attentiveness to guests. I could tell the hostess wanted to greet us but someone who looked like they worked there was in a deep conversation with her (gotta shoot your shot when ya can I guess?), it took her a few attempts to break his conversation but once she did we were immediately seated - no harm there, and she was very kind on our brief walk to the table! Our server was overall ok - she wasn't super attentive, mistakenly forgot to place two soups (I will say she apologized and quickly made up for it by bringing a fresh bowl out), and, after we finished out meals and she cleared the table it took about 10 minutes for her to come back so we could ask for the check, while our table, and others around us, all sat there looking around ready to pay and leave. While this was occurring we watched them having conversations, playing on their phones, and just hang around avoiding making eye contact - which is fine, but an interesting practice for customer facing positions. FOOD: Loaded Potato Soup: 3/10 - this was different than anything we've ever had before - it had a very strong chicken soup base to it, and it tasted more like a bell pepper chicken soup with some potato in it than it did loaded potato. Also, the bacon on top was super crispy which is great, but it tasted like cocoa? Very interesting. Not sure I'd try it again. Nachos: 7/10 - they were ok, some moderate char on the chips, but they were pretty tasty. Bacon Cheeseburger: 10/10 - the star of the show - I could have gone for 5 of them - excellent taste and season, great bacon, lovely toast on the buttery bun, The fries served with it were awesome as well.

Best Latin Dance Spot in Philly! If you're looking for an unforgettable night of Latin dancing in Philadelphia, Brasil's Night Club is hands down the BEST place to be. Multiple nights a week, they offer a one-hour salsa or bachata lesson from 9:30–10:30pm, led by the incredibly knowledgeable and friendly instructors from Estilo Dance Studio. Whether you're a total beginner or looking to polish your moves, you'll feel welcomed and encouraged. After the lesson, the dance floor opens up for social dancing, and the vibe is electric. The DJs spin mostly salsa and bachata, with the occasional merengue or cha cha mixed in—perfect for keeping the energy high and the dancers moving. As a woman who often comes alone, I truly appreciate the safe and respectful environment at Brasil's. The staff and fellow dancers are always polite, welcoming, and fun to be around. It's a community that embraces everyone. The bartenders are another highlight—they’re quick, courteous, and know how to make a great drink. And little perks like the free coat racks just add to the convenience and comfort of the night. Overall, Brasil's is THE place for Latin social dancing in Philadelphia. Amazing music, great people, and a positive, inclusive atmosphere—what more could you ask for?!

We went there for my birthday, it was the first time I ever went to a club with dance instructions. The lesson experience was AMAZING for our first time. We danced, we laughed, and enjoyed. My feelings is mixed for the atmosphere. I think in many other settings, I’ve seen good dancers generally try to invite the less professional ones, of course because if you have a good leader, you can dance better. Some people were welcoming and pro-active, some others very hard to approach. But again, I am new to the culture. Our experience with the bar was a little awkward, not sure because the bartender was simply tired, or just because we were new guests. Overall, even the bartender existing for social dancing is amazing, and I appreciated the chance to be there :) thank you!

I ordered the Honey I’m Comb (whiskey, lemon, ginger ale)…blended beautifully! I also ordered the Philly cheesesteak. It was seasoned well, the perfect amount of cheese (nestled throughout, not just on the side), the bread is toasted to perfection, light onions is just the right amount. Could use some type of dipping sauce (I personally like dipping my bread in something). Anthony “Ant” was theeeeee best! So friendly, attentive, and knows the menu.

So I brought my daughter on her high school graduation day to have a light dinner with her mother and her boyfriend. The bartender(Jenn) that is working tonight,6/12/25 during happy hour, is too preoccupied with her conversation with the "fairer" complexion customers to be bothered with one that shares her same skin tone. I will not be returning especially not during Jenn's shift. The chicken fajitas were trash!!! My daughter has been here before and has had better quality food. the same bartender acted like it was an inconvenience for her to make sure we were satisfied customers. Forrest Rocks!!!!

I was excited to have a library/bookstore bar but they went for pictures of books instead of actual books. It souod be the equivalent of having pictures of the beach at a Tiki bar. The menu being in a book is a cool idea though they execution was a bit off with the menu overlapping the pages and what not. The beer itself was okay as well. It wasnt bad but also wasnt too memorable. The reason im being hard on this place is because I could see it being an incredible place with a few changes. If they had actual bookshelfs build into with the wall with books (ans no pictures), with the menu more seamlessly in the book and marked with a bookmark instead of a rubber band, and with good beer. All of these would make this a hidden gem but as it stands I would say its just okay

I had a great brunch with my family. There is a lot of good seating areas in the restaurant which is a good thing because if you’re watching a game here you won’t feel overwhelmed. Our server was attentive, he took our order quickly and he checked in on us to make sure everything was alright. The food is well price and the portion is big; I left the restaurant being full and satisfied. I got the cookie dough pancakes which were not too sweet and the pancakes themselves were not too dense. The rest of the food looks delicious. I’ll be coming here in the future for games or if I just want delicious great value food.

Great service and atmosphere, but the food wasn't fantastic. The steak sauce is very odd (wouldn't want to have it again), but the steaks were cooked well. The chimichurri sauce on the octopus wasn't Argentinian, and the dish wasn't very good. The hot chicken lacked flavor. The pork belly and bone marrow appetizers were good.

A fine establishment, which has been rated as one of the best cocktail bars on this planet. I've been a customer since 2015, and my wife since 2021. Their drinks are superb. My favorite is named after a scenic highway in Glacier National Park; you'll have to guess which one! Many of the drinks have freshly squeezed juices in them, and others include some top shelf spirits. The owner Lê knows his stuff, and takes the safety of his staff clients very seriously. He closed voluntarily over a week before everyone else did when Covid hit, and waited almost 18 months before reopening. Newcomers, please note there is a perfectly reasonable dress code, and some house rules which are very easy to follow. If you don't act like a yutz, you should have nothing to worry about. Courtesy and decorum will get you far in life. Check out their new First Thursday drink lineup!

My boyfriend and I went to Hop Sing laundromat after we ate dinner in the city. We were celebrating our 10 year anniversary. I had been ranting and raving about this place since my best friend and I went there on our girls night out. My boyfriend was excited to go. Le is an amazing host and owner. He demands excellence but you get excellence back. He has two rules and a dress code, which is not hard to follow. I appreciate how Le used our names, too. Hop Sing is a place you get to live in the present and experience cocktails you have never had before. It was refreshing to be able to put our phones down and have conversations while enjoying the ambience of this incredible place. The mood lighting also helped set the tone of the place. Our waitress was attentive and did not over crowd us. She also let us take our time to enjoy our evening. I’m hoping next time I can try the cocktail omakase if still available. I cannot wait for our next trip to the city to experience this hidden gem.

If you're in downtown Philly, you have to drop in. The food was great, and the service was exceptional. Must try the mozzarella sticks and pizza. The chicken corn chowder was very tasty. They have lots of TVs and tons of liquor options.

This place was great! My group was having an awful no-good day and the food, vibes, and our wonderful waitress made things so much better. My sister said the crab cakes were the best she ever had, and my sandwich was delicious. Prices reasonable for a good amount of food, and they had karaoke the night we went!

My burger was absolutely amazing, fries were pretty good, and she liked her sandwich ok. Our server was excellent and even gave us local sightseeing tips and directions. One of the best burgers I’ve ever had, and I’ve had quite a few… prices seem fair as well.

Thursdays .75 wings. Everything we had was delicious! Hot and fresh fingers lickin good. Preztels nuggets, wings with cavanugh sauce, cheesesteak rolls, mozzarella sticks, chicken quesadilla, raspberry margaritas and dirty grey goose martinis.

Staff was super nice and welcoming, which made for a great experience. The food was solid, I tried the hot wings and wished they had a bit more kick, but that might just be my palate. They do have a hotter option called ‘3rd Degree,’ but honestly, that sounded more painful than flavorful. Overall, it’s a good spot to catch a game, grab a beer, and enjoy some food. I’d definitely come back.

Fried food paradise. Went because somewhere I read that the have the best chicken fingers. No. They were actually the worst thing ordered. Overdone. Mozz sticks are excellent and plentiful for $12. Literally amazing if you guys want to get drunk (with some class) definitely stop by they’re absolutely amazing the management and ownership here is literally out of this world. The fact that they’re based in Philadelphia and not somewhere as high class as Dubai is mindblowing, every drink from George is phenomenal and Jamie the owner was literally one of the funniest and coolest guys I’ve ever met. He helped me with my suit and told me plenty of tips to help keep me elevated and moving forward in my career. If you're even thinking about blue marítimo or Cuba libre for drinks don’t even waste your time just stop here. It’s a little place upstairs.

hostess was rude… I’m pregnant can not sit in a high seat let alone a hard back but that’s where she suggested we sit and then had a attitude that I asked for a booth instead. mind you the booths were completely empty and no one was sitting there. she said ugghhh it’s a reservation and then proceeded to walk me there however she had a nasty attitude. My server was great the food was delicious but a service charge for 2 ppl was ridiculou. I’m a Jamaican I can cook my own food at home. upon leaving the establishment the same rude hostess didn’t even say bye or goodnight or anything just stood there eating her food. I don’t know why us as Jamaicans would even hire American young girls to be the first point of contact at a Jamaican restaurant when they have poorest attitudes.

Stopped by around 5:30 and ordered the wings, 12 for a pound. Flavor’s solid, though I’d love a bit more heat if they’re going to call them hot. The blue cheese, though, best I’ve had anywhere. Sat at the bar and Joe was on point… every time I needed something, he already had it handled. I really liked how the whole staff worked as a team; as soon as someone left, the table was cleared and cleaned. The place is a little dark, but honestly I like that… nobody needs to watch how messy I get with wings. Good music, not too loud, just the right vibe. Definitely worth stopping in.

Went here few weeks ago since I’ve never been and wanted to try the burger. Place was pretty packed and got open spot at bar. Got the burger with order of fries , burger came out more well than I wanted like semi hockey puck but missed part where it said charbroiled lol. Was still decent but sad tomato ha. Fries were good with the garlic ranch and the Schneider & Son Aventinus was good beer. Nice dive bar with pool table and nice staff. May have to come back for karoake n try some other stuff, fountain porter burger/fry deal is better , burger, fries, 4 beers was about $55 with tip.

I am a huge Denver Broncos fan. I was wearing a giant Dallas Sucks chain to come and peace with Eagles fans. When there was an Eagles fan who walked into the bar and I was trying to brandish my Dallas Sucks chain (because that is something that we can all agree on), the bartender came up to me was like "we already had a problem with you with someone else (who's a regular there) in the bar because of you being a Broncos fan." I didnt do anything to provoke any kind of behavior like that. My friends and I were talking about the situation that just happened, I guess the bar tender over heard our conversation, and came up asked if I needed anything, and I tried to order another Miller High Life and hes like "nah, I think you're done." My first time ever here in this town, love it here. Especially if you have a giant Dallas Sucks sign, but this bar is the definition of trash.

We decided to head over here for dinner Tuesday night to get our little one some outside time. It is ok to bring kids in with you as long as you are out before 9pm - which was definitely our plan since it was a school night. We were seated initially at once of the tables by the water, but ended moving to a booth not directly next to the water since it was a little breezy and more brisk then we expected. Staff, including our waitress, were all really friendly and the service was very timely. Didn't feel like it took very long between ordering items and it being brought to us, but also wasn't too fast if that makes sense. Everything was ok, didn't have any complaints on our meal. Our little one enjoyed her food and taking everything around her - saw a couple of sail boats and the trains passing under the bridge got her really excited lol. It's always a cool spot on the water I've been to with friends/to hangout - now we know it's an okay spot to bring a kid too (just earlier in the evening).

Had a blast here on Memorial day. The bouncer at the door was super friendly. He even wished my wife a happy early birthday after checking her ID. It was pretty busy and we were seated immediately in a section marked reservation only and right on the water. Beautiful view and we got to meet a lot of really awesome people, both patrons and staff. The cheesesteak egg rolls, fried calamari and fried cheddar sticks were all delicious. And if you want a cocktail the Two to Mango is great! The bartenders and security were all incredibly friendly and fun to talk to. Only thing that could've made the night better would have been live music instead of trivia night.

We came here specifically to watch a football game, and midway through they changed the channel on us without asking. When I politely asked to have it switched back, they refused, choosing instead to prioritize a new customer’s request over guests who were already there. It felt unfair and honestly discriminatory — as if our presence didn’t matter. A sports bar should value existing customers and respect that people come to watch games. Very disappointing experience, and I won’t be returning.

If you’re looking for an unforgettable night out in Philly, Concourse is the place to be. I went last Friday and had such a blast, I’m already planning to head back this week. The DJ absolutely killed it—song after song had the whole crowd singing along, and I could vibe with 95% of the playlist. Whether you’re into dancing your heart out or just enjoying the music with friends, the energy was off the charts. The drinks? Strong and worth the price. I spent $20 on a fishbowl, and not only was it loaded with flavor, but the candies mixed into the drink added a fun twist that made it totally worth the splurge. Just know you’re paying for quality—this isn’t your average watered-down bar cocktail. The overall vibe at Concourse is phenomenal. Everyone there seemed like they just wanted to have a good time, and that kind of energy is contagious. It was packed in the best way, giving the place a lively, welcoming atmosphere. Even the staff was amazing to talk to. One of my favorite parts of the night was stepping into the ice room—such a cool (literally) way to take a breather after hours of dancing. I didn’t make it into the famous ball pit this time, but it’s at the top of my list when I return. Pro tip: if you plan on hanging out near the DJ booth for a while, bring ear plugs. It gets loud, but in a “party like you mean it” kind of way. Also, the cover charge was totally reasonable for everything you get. Concourse checks all the boxes for a night out—great music, strong drinks, fun extras, and an unforgettable vibe. Can’t wait for round two this Friday!

Other than that I do like the place, they just should have closed for the day instead of subjecting customers to those conditions. Especially an establishment that serves alcohol.

Worst experience ever. I never got “kicked out” of an establishment before. We are hard working woman and moms just out for one night. It was ruined!! My friends and I had an expensive bottle from a previous spot. The security at the front did not say anything and we all paid $20 to get in. We weren’t even there all but 15 minutes before we got kicked out because of the bottle. They were disrespectful and yelling when they could’ve talked to us and told us we can leave with the bottle that we’ve paid for or stay and enjoy there bar. But NO! They took our bottle that we paid for and gave it to the bartender & made us leave urgently. It was the long haired light skinned security guard being rude to us and when we tried to talk he just kept saying get out! From the looks of it he caused problems before. We did not get our money back and we were forced out. Do not go to this place! I will be sure to inform everyone on all social media platforms!

Although, I was in town for a business trip, the great service, specifically from my server, a stunning, sweet, and caring girl, made my visit enjoyable. I forgot her name, but she told me she is a new server here. We chatted a lot, she recommended a few great items on the menu as well as places to visit in Philly. I will come back for sure.

Came in early to try and get seating for 2 to watch the eagles and just FYI that this place treats small parties very poorly. Originally sat at a large table and was told it would have to be split which is understandable, but they had a rule that the two of us would have to be squished against the bar in the corner with no space to move. Then was an offered a high top table for 2 in the front as a “solution” but you could literally not see any of the TVs from that area. Walked out because the staff were so rude and other bars around here do not treat small parties so poorly. Never returning

Surprising how few reviews they have for how long they have been open. To be candid, the last time I was here, it was years ago - much has changed. To start, there is a separate fee for each floor, you cannot check out the atmosphere before paying cover. On their website, it says ladies are free until 1 am. My friend and I arrived at 12:45 am, they charged us full price and said it would have been free if we had both come before 12 am. We ordered two double drinks, it was $50 for house liquor. They have snacks out front, did not have change, even though the entire place is cash only. There is no reentry. Would not recommend, unless you are here before midnight, but it will be empty because it is a late night spot. Better off going to Silk City or Mr. Ivy.

Imma just say they empty. I had more fun in my car.i probably can count how many people in here. But for boredom purposes I won't.. maybe they should change the name and start over. This isn't lit. Just a hookah house with 90's jams and 16 people

So, my servers weren't rude, like a lot of the other reviews say, they were just inattentive. I had to frequently wait for someone to make rounds to ask for more drinks or dessert.. Eh.. the food/drinks.. The drinks were small, the food portion size was small, and they came out in small plastic cups and plastic containers. The food was good. I just don't think the experience was worth the drive from NJ, and the parking garage fees. We also had to pay 20$ per person as a cover to get in. It wasn't a crowded Saturday night. Anyway, It was very nice inside and the music was also nice. I just think I could've spent my money elsewhere. It was a nice experience, but I don't think i'll be back.

Really pretty atmosphere. I really enjoyed the vibe here. Staff were nice and the drinks and food were good but the baklava was amazing. I usually don’t even like baklava but theirs was really good. It’s a perfect summer time spot. Will be returning.

It wasn’t very happening. Kind of dull, less crowd on a Friday night too. Dj wasn’t good. Kind of the opposite of what I expected. There was a 15 dollar entry fee for a not so happening place which didn’t make sense. I gave at-least 3 stars because bartenders are really sweet and offered great service.

If I could give no stars, I would. The staff at the establishment have no sense of empathy and kick those out on the street because they do not want the responsibility. They do not listen to those educated and do whatever they want, whenever they want. My friends and I were pushed aside, especially with the bald black bouncer not listening to our suggestions and knowledge. This happened frequently. Would not recommend as there are more unsafe people who are allowed in, and they will just kick you to the street so that they do not take responsibility. Worst bar/ club establishment in the city of Philadelphia.

This place is such a mystery. Sometimes much stuff happens here both good and extremely messed up. Many girls get roofed here and taken advantage of. Is so crazy how many stories people have about a friend who got abused, molested, touched without consent. This place is high risk for girls who come alone. Do not!! I repeat Do NOt come here alone if you’re a girl. Guys do not respect and will definitely try to force you. Don’t accept drinks from anyone without you going to get it yourself. There is lots of drug activity going on and be prepared to use the bathroom with both men and women in the same bathroom.

Nice Club With A Lot Of Potential I Really Loved The Ambiance With The Vines & Lights. You Can Smoke Vape In The Venue If You Would Like. They Also Allow You To Sit In Sections Until Someone Reserves It So That Was Nice But The Night I Went (Afro Beats Night) It Was Dead & The Crowd Seemed A Bit Immature With A Few Sprinkles Of Older Men On The Prowl. Not Sure If It’s A Standing Rule But My Fiancé And I Got In For Free Because We Arrived Before 11pm. The Ladies Room Only Has Two Stalls & It Is Quite Cramped So Be Cautious When Entering Ladies. I Didn’t Try Any Food But It Didn’t Seem Like They Served Food, In 3/4 Hours Of Being There I Didn’t See Anyone Eat. Overall, The DJ Did A Good Job & I Liked What I Saw Of The Place For The Most Part, I Would Return To Give It Another Shot.

It was a great time because the music they were playing and because the drinks were strong. It's not the most fancy nor comfortable place. I was going to reserve a section for my lady and I, the cost was $500 as you had to buy a bottle. When I got inside and saw the $500 seat compared to the comfortable free ones ... I'm glad I didn't pay. The DJ was decent and the bar tender was great!

This was hands down the WORST club experience I’ve ever had. Don’t waste your time or money — go to Vinyl instead. We arrived at 11pm to an empty club, and the VIP bathroom was already disgusting - no toilet paper, clearly hadn’t been cleaned in a long time, the bouncer was literally handing us drink napkins every time we went in. To make it worse, table service was painfully slow — our server repeatedly left us with empty mixers, and I had to get up multiple times just to ask for basic things. The bouncers were unbelievably rude. As soon as 2 AM hit, they started cursing us out, even though we had just spent thousands of dollars there. At 2:02 one bouncer even threatened to “drag me out to the street” while I was waiting for my friend to come out of the bathroom. The staff clearly has no respect for their customers, VIP or otherwise. The server was inattentive, and the bouncers were on a power trip. I live in Philly and love to go out often, but I will NEVER step foot in this place again.

I will NEVER return. My friends and I had a table in VIP section next to the stage. The club was empty and we still waited 40 minutes to be served. The entire place was disgusting and it seemed as if they did not clean from the night before (or probably longer). There was a bathroom right off the stage which I assumed to be the VIP bathroom. One of the bouncers let us use this restroom, then handed us paper towels as we walked out (there was no toilet paper). Later in the evening we were screamed at not to use that bathroom. I left my table to go use the other restrooms across the club, then was told I could not return to MY TABLE because “didn’t have the right wristband”. I was told “don’t complain”. Awful. At 2am, they proceeded to scream at us to leave, giving us no time to gather our things or wait for friends who made the trek to the bathroom or who were still at our table. The club was filthy and empty, but the staff could have treated guests with respect and hospitality at the very least…and offered toilet paper.
