Loved Last Saint in Charleston, South Carolina. The service was incredible. The bartenders were swift, friendly and accommodating. The drinks were so well thought out and had amazing drink profiles. I loved everything we had. Safe word and old salt were just delicious. Can’t wait to go back and try other drinks.

Walk through the red door if you're willing to change your life completely and succumb to the cocktail chosen by the master craftsman. No menu, no problem. Great little speakeasy for the traveler looking for something off the beaten path. Cheers!

Went on a “me” date tonight. Everything was terrific! Sidney was such a great server and took great care of me. The best food recommendations too!! The DJ and volume were a great beachy vibe. Great (me) date night!

Cool vibe, great drinks. Sidney our server was fantastic. The grilled octopus appetizer is a must-try. Great flavors and gorgeous presentation. Would definitely go back

It’s like a college bar but for all ages ! I loved it so much we went 2x this week.

I love the Recovery Room. It has a great atmosphere, and is an extremely clean and good laid back dive bar. The drinks are good and it's always full of plenty of people, inside and in their outdoor seating. You can play pool, foosball, and other stuff. I had the opportunity to take some pictures very early when it wasn't crowded, so here they are.

I don’t know how many great rooftop bars there are in Charleston, but I can’t imagine many being better than this one!! Food is really delicious, service is prompt and friendly, and the views really are great. There are multiple outdoor bars, spots in the sun and the shade, indoor/outdoor portions with TVs, and the rooftop goes basically the length of the hotel so there is a view in every direction. And then on top of the great views, there is the fact that the food is delicious. Love this place!

The food may not exactly be my usual style, but it was still pretty good. What really stood out for me was the service and the atmosphere it was beautiful, relaxing, and I really enjoyed it.

Nice selection of cocktails with interesting twists. Three level restaurant with a bar on each level, including the rooftop. Rooftop seemed cool but was closed because it was raining, heavy at times. Lots of cool period piece decor that served as nice points of interest for Instagram photos.

The Peacock in Charleston is such a fun and memorable spot! It has three levels of dining, cocktails, and live entertainment—including a rooftop with gorgeous views of the harbor. The vibe was energetic but still relaxed, and the service was top-notch. Our server, Joshua, was awesome—friendly, attentive, and really made the experience even better. The menu by Chef Matthew Greene is creative and full of flavor, combining classic comfort dishes with international twists. We tried the Smash Burger with local beef and applewood bacon—so juicy and flavorful—and the Market Catch (snowy grouper) was perfectly cooked. The chicken wings were crispy and bold, especially with the mango habanero sauce. And don’t skip dessert—the peach strawberry cobbler with peach ice cream was the perfect sweet ending. Whether you’re going for dinner or just a night out with drinks and music, The Peacock really delivers. Highly recommend checking it out!

5 stars for 5 reasons 1. The fries and onion rings were fresh and crispy. Fries were perfect size and onion rings were the best I’ve ever tasted at restaurant. 2. The price is very reasonable and affordable. 3. Customer service is very kind, nice and helpful. 4. The quantity is a lot for what you pay. 5. This plane is super cool! Bring your own dollar bill if you want to leave your mark here. Rumored to have over 30-40k in dollar bills stapled.

While the food menu was definitely appealing, we only enjoyed beer and wine. As soon as you walk in you're completely mesmerized by the dollar bills. There are so many coating almost every surface telling the story of many travelers and locals. We decided to leave our mark while we were here. They have markers and a stapler for you to add your own. Next visit, we're having food!

Burns Alley Tavern has a very unique atmosphere, almost like a piece of history is etched into its walls. It’s tucked away in an alley, which gives it a bit of a hidden gem feel. The dim lighting, graffiti-covered walls, and overall dive bar aesthetic make it seem like a cool place to hang out. It definitely has character, and I can see why some people love it. However, my experience was far from great. The biggest issue was the service—the server was unexpectedly rude for no reason. There was no warmth, no friendliness. A place like this should have a welcoming vibe, but instead, it just felt uninviting. On top of that, the prices were disappointing. I paid $13.50 for two normal beers, which didn’t feel justified for a dive bar setting. I expected better value, especially considering the atmosphere. It wasn’t anything special drink-wise, just standard beers at a higher-than-expected price. Overall, Burns Alley has potential with its unique vibe, but the attitude of the staff and the pricing really took away from the experience. I wanted to like it, but I left feeling like I wouldn’t go back.

Great dive bar! Beer, liquor, Jell-O shots! One pool table and arcade games. Always something going on the weekends, either a band or karaoke. Bartenders are always great. Bathrooms could use some work, and sometimes it gets crowded later at night (for good reason!). Overall, great local place to stop.

This was the fourth and final stop on our DIY Cocktail Crawl. 🥂 Did we save the best for last? Perhaps! The atmosphere was very eclectic and unique. You walk upstairs and get a warehouse feel/older mid-construction. There are walls sectioning everything off, but just the bones, not the wall. Low lights and different styles of furniture further set the mood. There's also an outdoor patio that must be reserved for special events because it was kind of hidden and vacant. 🍹I had the Certified Loverboy. I'm not a fan of Mezcal though, so they swapped out tequila. It was so good!!! The passionfruit paired with the dill was doing it for me!!! 100% get again. 🍹 Hubby had The Stay at Home Dad and seemed to enjoy it. I'd definitely hit this place up for Happy Hour! Drinks were in the $15 range.

Really cool spot with one of the best 'regular' Old Fashions I've ever had. I did have to specify that I wanted a big ice cube which seemed a bit odd, but they were accommodating. The lounge area is cozy with exposed beams and brick, plenty of comfortable seating options. Try to get there early, live music was set to start at 10pm and the place was filling up. It was pricey, but that's downtown Charleston.

this is the place you want to be if you love karaoke and having a good time!! it’s not your typical karaoke place. no need to rent a room or call all of your people. go alone and make a bunch of friends or bring your friends too! but get ready to sing to a crowd!! they have frozen drinks which i loveeee, you can add liquor or just enjoy as is! (non alcoholic) not to mention DJ Red makes sure to maintain the vibes every time and NEVER disappoints! feeling shy? she will hop on the mic with you! need a hype girl? she’s right behind or next to you (depending on where you’re standing and singing!) truly the best place EVER. i take all my friends and family when they visit and they always can’t wait to come back to go back!!

Literally the most phenomenal experience I’ve ever had at a bar! DJ Red made us feel comfortable enough to sing the best(worst) songs, enjoy our time, and amazing drinks! My second time here, definitely won’t be the last!!!

If you like electronic music this is the place for you. Relatively small, but wasnt packed. Good vibe. Repeatedly had people cone over multiple times to invite my friends and I into their section. Ladies watch your drinks and be cautious

Trio Charleston has been a staple of nightlife in my life for almost 5 years! The memories I have there are some of my favorite in Charleston. I never walk away disappointed whether it be a national artist or a local resident. Grace and Cole are two of the most amazing people in Charleston, and I can’t think of VIP without thinking of them. They have always provided me the most luxury experience possible as well as being just great people to hang out and talk to when you’re there! The rest of the staff follows their lead and shows such incredible hospitality that I can’t help but keep coming back! You won’t be disappointed whether you choose to book a VIP section or just dance in the crowd! But I recommend booking a section(I’ve booked too many to count) and having the night of your life!

Had Sunday Brunch. Food, drinks, service, and atmosphere was awesome! 1st food: great portions and awesome flavor. They made our granddaughter a very special drink. The band playing played a wide variety of music and made brunch that much better. Haley was our server, super awesome. Thank you to Chris as well for making our experience great!

Legendary, iconic place. We met a bartender, we drank with a chef together after he’s provided his masterpieces. Lord… I love this place! That was emotional part. Now you will have an objective. Perfect made food, great size of whiskey shots, friendly atmosphere and the best aftertaste! I highly recommend this place to make your life better!

We just got into town and we're looking for a late night bite and this place was perfect! The vibes are amazing, the food was great we had the mozzarella sticks and wow! So good the fries are incredible. The steak was good, next time I'd like to try the burger we saw one go by and wow! Definitely would eat here again

We had a great dinner experience at Bourbon N’ Bubbles last night. Everything from the service to the food was on point. We were seated right on time for our reservation, and our server was incredibly attentive—polite, professional, and constantly on top of refilling our waters without needing to be asked. The food was delicious. We ordered a couple of the shareable sides (the crack potatoes are absolutely worth the hype) and had enough leftovers to bring home, which is always a win. The portion sizes on those extras are generous, so definitely plan to share. We noted on OpenTable that we were celebrating an anniversary, and the staff went out of their way to make it feel special. Instead of the typical champagne toast, they noticed we weren’t drinking and offered us a celebratory scoop of ice cream instead—which was thoughtful and appreciated. Overall, a classy yet approachable spot with solid service and well-executed dishes. Would definitely come back.

A solid 4.4⭐ from me, see below. 👇 We got to Bourbon N Bubbles at 4pm on a Saturday. It was the first stop on our DIY "cocktail crawl". This was a great time to pop in because it was fairly empty! We had the back bar to ourselves. The back bar area has chic bar stools that are extra cozy. The lighting was not bright and not dark, just right for a Saturday afternoon. Our bartender came over right away and got us started with water, offering bubbly or bottled, as well. The menu was quite impressive. The only reason I knocked off a star was because the prices were quite high, especially compared to the other bars nearby. 🍹I had the Watermelon Spritz. It was nice and refreshing, but definitely one and done for $17. 🍵Hubby had the Sweet Heat. He really liked it. I tried it, but bourbon is not my thing. I'll stick to the bubbles! Ultimately, we would still come back. The brunch menu looked worth checking out, when we're feeling like we want to really splurge.

I arrived as they were opening at 11am. I sat upstairs and ordered the chicken salad sandwich, fries, drink and dessert. The sandwich was $19 and should have included a side but the fries were extra. It was a big sandwich and filling but a little dry so I asked for mayonnaise. The waitress was great and attentive. I would definitely go back and probably order something else but also get the cake again! They welcomed my dog and the waitress gave her ice cold water.

The food here was absolutely delicious. My server was wonderful. She was very attentive and through. The food came out super fast even though they were getting a busy lunch crowd. Would definitely recommend.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “Great vibe, but service needs backup!” Uptown Social has a fun, high-energy atmosphere that makes it a solid choice if you’re looking to hang out and soak in the Charleston nightlife. The music was upbeat, the crowd was lively, and the space had that casual party vibe that’s perfect for a weekend out. That said, service was really slow when we went—only one server seemed to be covering the whole floor, which definitely affected wait times. Didn’t try the drinks this time, but the menu looked good and reasonably priced for the area. Still giving it 4 stars because the overall vibe and ambiance delivered. Just hope they have more staff next time—this place deserves smoother service to match its scene.

The PERFECT venue for our wedding welcome party! The Uptown Social team was amazing to work with! They were so helpful in bringing our vision to life. The drinks and food were amazing and so reasonably priced. The private space upstairs has an indoor and outdoor space which was awesome - the guests loved it! We had over 100 guests stop by and they fit perfectly. I can't recommend this venue enough for any private event!

So I’ve been to this particular spot to party but never to have a meal. We chose Ritual being that their menu was light but also had some larger entrees available and you can’t go wrong with the outdoor space to hang out in. Our reservation was set for 5:30 as our plan was to catch the improve comedy show just a couple blocks away at theater 99. The parking was a breeze as it was just behind the Walgreens on the corner (don’t forget to scan that barcode in the parking lot and pay up for that so you don’t get towed) I paid about $16 for 2 hrs) One thing I love about Ritual is that they have an elevator (thanks yall! My “non Megan knee” definitely appreciates that!) for those of you who love your stair stepper, you can take the stairs up to the top. The host was able to seat us right away and we were very quickly greeted by our server. We ordered both espresso martinis, (they have a vodka option and a tequila option) the tequila option was my favorite. When it came to the food, we went with some tapas. My partner ordered the guacamole and house made tortilla chips (so flavorful and bright with a slight kick & the chips were large and fresh). We got an order of the bang bang shrimp which had a light batter on them and the bang bang sauce was creamy and delicious. We also ordered the crispy brussel sprouts with carrot purée which were also very tasty and beautiful. The last dish we ordered was the charcuterie board and the saltine crackers and jam were a fantastic combination. Everything looked amazing and so fresh and tasted just as delicious. Once we finished up with the eats we headed to the other side and stepped out onto the rooftop terrace area that was poppin with a live DJ, chill but upbeat vibes and the bar tenders were definitely putting in work. We ordered a carafe of one of their signature drinks and it was sooo good! Not too sweet, not bitter, just perfect and very refreshing.

Everything was so amazing!! The food, the staff, the drinks. I was so impressed. Likely one of the best meals I have ever had. I was visiting from out of state and since my visit I had suggested it to many friends and they all had the same experience. Exceptional!! Thanks for all you do to make an amazing dining experience.

I stopped in for a mimosa on Second Sunday before walking the King Street market. It’s a cute place. A band was setting up to play some live music. Places like this do really well with brunch in Tampa. Just a suggestion to bring in an earlier Sunday crowd.

I took a girls trip to Charleston and came to Republic multiple times during the trip. We came early, we came late and each time it was so much fun. When we were there early, I got the spicy chicken sandwich and it was so good I ate the entire thing (I usually do not, I swear). We came later for the party and had a VIP table outside and had the best time dancing and vibing. All of the servers/bottle girls who helped us were friendly and attentive. We got their names because they were so helpful and fun, we wanted to give them a shout out, so here it is: Julie, Beatriz, Sierra, Liz, Camille and Emma: Y'ALL MADE OUR NIGHT! You are the best, thank you for such a wonderful experience.

I did my birthday event at Deco and it was nice they treated me like a queen and all my girls. I highly recommend if you dont want a ratchet spot this is the place to be. This was not my first time here I've been several times and each time was amazing however they made my birthday night a night to remember.

This club has a reputation for girls being drugged here, and that is TRUE. Be very careful here. I was drugged last Saturday when the club was very empty, so we wondered if the bartenders/staff were involved. Will never be returning. Stay safe! If you find yourself here make sure you stay with good friends

Staff – Super friendly and easy to work with. Booking a table was seamless, communication beforehand was quick, and once we arrived they stayed accommodating. Vibe – Just okay. I’ve never been to a Charleston club before, but I’d imagine there are better options. The layout felt a bit off, especially with the way our section was roped off. We still made the most of it and had fun, but it’s not a spot I’d return to.

Went for a bachelorette party. Because of our group size, they suggested it would be cheaper ($500) and more comfortable to get a table and we wouldnt wait in the line. They put us at a table in the middle of the floor, despite larger tables along the wall that were open, so it was super cramped and people were sitting on the backs of our couches. Then, we got the bill the next day... $900. $400 was random tips and fees for servers who weren't there, things we didn't order, etc. This place is an absolute scam.
