I’ve been coming here for YEARS! I always tell people when they are coming down to this area to go here. We had already been twice in the last 3 days and had amazing service from great people! Then last night we were invited by a few new friends to meet them here for some after dinner drinks. We got there about 9:30. We sat at a table for 15 minutes and absolutely NO ONE spoke to us. We were right beside the bar. Bartender did not greet us. Did not say anything about there not being any wait staff. Didn’t ask us if we wanted anything to drink or eat. Didn’t offer us menus. NOTHING! I look over and see a young lady sitting at the end of the bar (where the staff normally sits near the kitchen) READING A BOOK! The food is great but way overpriced. A grilled cheese is $12. A burger starts at $18. This is beach side bar food. Not even a 3 star restaurant. We got up and left after 20 min. Will we be back? Absolutely. Only because I know I have never received such horrible service there before. But I will have a talk with the manager to make sure they are aware that not a single person got any kind of service for 20 minutes last night unless they walked up to the bar and got the bartender off his phone to make them a drink.
Located on the beach in Ocean Lakes Family Campground, it is a great place for libations (limited, though, as they make their own cocktail specials), food, and nightly entertainment.
Very cool place, went on karaoke night, great time, quick drinks, great service, sadly not pet friendly as Google search indicated.
The food is great. They give you a lot of food. We could have shared any of the plates we got. The nachos in the picture are after me and my wife had finished eating on them!
I really wanted this place to be amazing. Wanted to be able to come here a few times when we were vacationing. We ate here the first night. The concept is great food, drinks, DJ, Karaoke, ocean breeze.. The food is over priced and tastes like bulk fried food, nothing to be excited about. The service is under staffed, and even if you wanted to have more drinks, the service is so slow and never once got a refill or asked if we wanted more to drink. Seems like they get you in and out. It can get very hot with tons of bodies shoved into this tiny spot. We aren’t from Myrtle but where we are from the customers are the priority, the servers take care of you, and good food is just as important.
