7/19/25 IMPRESSIVE selection! Our bourbon and craft cocktail was Top Notch as was the atmosphere. It was a Great place to be on a Saturday evening. ❤️🥃
By far the best bar in town! Colton knows his whiskeys and bourbon. He is mixology at its finest.
The pizza is delicious. Detroit style and super tasty. My partner had the BBQ Chicken and I had the meatatarian. Both were amazing. The atmosphere is great and it located right in downtown Rapid City. Great place for some great food. Also, they have a good selection of beer and wine on tap (with a wristband) and a good selection of NA options.
Best root beer I have ever had, and there Detroit style pizza was incredible tasty. Not a beer drinker but if your looking for the tastiest root beer and pizza you ever ate I would recommend Pour 54 Taphouse.
It smells like cigars which makes sense because it’s right next door, but I’d think they were smoking them inside this building too. Hard to maintain an appetite with the smoke smell. The food took about an hour to be ready, told that the grill is very small, but they apologized many times and made our food to go when we asked. Burger and sides were okay. Margarita was burnt.
You want the best burger in Rapid City? You found it! The Social House is very unique for this area. It does a great job blending a traditional sports bar setting with higher class cocktail options and adding some of the best food you can buy. Executive chef Rodney has whipped up an incredible menu of some of the most unique creations that can appeal to any taste. Make sure you go with an open mind and an empty stomach! I am not a fan of watching sport in a bar, but I had a great time watching a recent primetime NFL game here. The service was excellent and I had a very nice time. I don’t think I can rate this place high enough! Plan your next night out for The Social House!
Tavern specializing in beer & pizza, with wide varieties of both, served in casual surroundings.
We had an early dinner on a Thursday evening. The location is great, with many shops and other businesses nearby. Parking was not bad. It was not busy and we seated ourselves in the front window. Johanna (not sure of spelling) did a great job waiting on us. We shared the American with pepperoni and a salad with ranch. The pizza was delicious. Very cheesy and flavorful, and great crust. The salad was perfect too. We are visiting Rapid City and plan to go back again before we leave.
I planned to get a pizza to go, but the atmosphere was so inviting I had to sit at the bar for a while first! Friendly staff and a wide selection of beers on draft. Pizza was amazing as well! Will definitely stop by again when I come through town.
Alpt of kids birthday on the weekend but they seemed to like the upstairs with the ticket games more then downstairs with the old school quarter games. That's where I spent most of the time. In the dungeon with the quarter games. Pretty neat place!
Press Start is a must if youre visiting Rapid City! For people of all ages, the pizza is delicious, the arcade downstairs is full of old school games and pin ball machines!! The employees are friendly too, it's a great atmosphere. I can't wait to visit again next time im in town!
What a great local sports bar and watering hole. perfect beer prices (don't look for much fancy stuff... grab a $3 Coors and relax). menu has a solid selection of burgers and a few sandwiches and surprise! the salads are good too. Our table had a side salad and a Cobb salad. Always check the burger special... Mac n Cheese burger was stellar.
Great staff! The food seems to not be as good as the last few times. The beer is cold and they probably have the best bar pickles, I have ever had. Old school dive bar atmosphere.
Expansive rooftop nightspot offering craft cocktails & comfort eats in a polished, modern space.
Just stopped in for a drink on the rooftop bar. Cool spot. Pricey drinks, but they were good. You're paying for the vibe. Great views. If just sitting outside, get your drinks at the bar then sit outside. Located within the hotel. To get there, enter the hotel lobby and take a right to the elevator up to the 10th floor. There are two levels to sit outside. There was a cool guy up there playing records inside. Nice on a good weather day. Metered street parking nearby is easy, free after 6.
The staff at Vertex did an AMAZING job preparing and serving our wedding dinner. Alexis made us an absolutely gorgeous cake and Emilio and staff went above and beyond to ensure the night was perfect. The food was phenomenal! Thank you for making us the perfect dinner!
Not clean, outdated, mid-level service. Seems to rely on inexpensive drinks and gambling, and high volume traffic. One of the highest revenue bars in South Dakota, and very reasonable priced. High volume, large dive bar. But too large to be cozy, very outdated and inadequately maintained. Unpleasant odors. There are multiple pool tables, gambling, bar games, open late, tons of easy parking, and bargain drink prices. The outdoor areas are lovely when traffic isn't constant. So there are many positives. And I love a good dive bar, so I wanted to love this place. But the owners seemingly aren't engaged enough, and it feels like a declining venue despite all the local support and history. The team and clientele deserve more.
Great bar atmosphere. Plenty of pool tables. Semi-friendly wait staff. Skip the chicken wings.
Contemporary Irish watering hole with classic & updated pub grub & a patio with fire pits.
8/2/25 Enjoyed a delicious dinner at Murphy’s. Wonderful server. Many different seating options. Next I’ll try and sit at the Awesome bar or on the patio.
Great restaurant with delicious food. My hotel gave me a free appetizer so I decided to check it out. The fancy pickles were delicious and my meatloaf dinner was even better. My bartender(Andrea?) was awesome and we chatted it up about life. Definitely check this place out if you're in RC.
I just love bars like this one. Great homie vibe with cool music and reasonably priced drinks. There was plenty of room to play pool.
Thus far it's been a good place to throw some darts but if history has shown me anything things could change real quick.
We stopped in after the Escape Room on the same block to get a cold beer. The bartender was very friendly, they had a good selection of local beers and domestic beers. It was mid-afternoon and quite empty. They had a good selection of keno machines, a few pool tables, darts, and a good music selection playing while we were in.
You can feel the hatred when you enter this place. The bar is basically a wide hallway with a security guard at the front. There's fights all the time. I don't feel safe here. Too crowded.
Set in a renovated firehouse, this down-to-earth find furnishes pub grub & house-brewed beers.
This place is probably worth a visit, they have a nice beer selection and a full bar, the food was good, the service was good amd atmosphere was inviting. We walked to the restaurant from our hotel a couple blocks away but there is a public parking garage and street parking if you drive in. We sat in the patio area which is very nice when the bi polar weather is full effect in Rapid City. The patio has a big screen which they play sporting events on, go with the boys, the family or a date I think its suitable for all. I had the gumbo which was different from the gumbo I am used to but it works! I also ordered the Bison Lasagna which wasn't to bad either. The Wife ordered Mushrooms which were amazing, I've had better fish and chips before but these were pretty good as well, the coleslaw was amazing 👏
Atmosphere is super cool and loved the decor! Food was pretty good. I had the BBQ sandwich, had a nice smoke to it but nothing special. My parents loved their food.
We went there about lunch time on a Saturday and got right in. Our server was wonderful and friendly! The food was very good, full of flavor and cook just right. The pickle martini was fun, smooth but I would have liked a little more pickle flavor 😉. Lots of events seem to happen there so we'll definitely go back!
Checked out the Park for the 1st time today for lunch when they opened at 11:00am. Upon walking into the lobby you find a huge artificial tree and are greeted by a friendly hostess. Upon being seated in the area adjacent to the bar I was surprised to find something you never see in a restaurant, comfortable padded seating. The flatware was gleeming with not a single water spot. The attention to detail was exemplary. I had the surf and turf which was an 8oz. Fillet cooked medium rare on a bed of asparagus and topped with Crab Garlic Gruyere Sauce. I paired it with a glass of Boen Tri-Appelation Pinot Noir. The combination was fantastic and prepared superbly. For Desert I had a Snicker Martini and a Creme Brulee cheesecake. All in all, I cannot think of a time when I had a better dinner out.
