Other than the top row of Kyle Field maybe the best view around. For sure the only roof top bar with a view like this in college Station. Shockingly cool and modern - a nice break from country TAMU theme everywhere you go - not that I don’t like it - but sometimes it’s a nice break. Rest assured they have drink specials that are Aggie themed. And those drink prices are not fancy hotel exorbitant either. Plenty of shade coverings, misting fans for when it’s Texas Summer Hot. Several levels too. Smartly laid out by facing East, North and South - not West. Nicely done rooftop bar / lounge area - with food! This should be on everyone’s list of “must see and do in college station”.
Last night, we chose Reveille (Rooftop bar at Hilton College Station) to celebrate a birthday a first visit for us. We had heard great things about Reveille from friends around town. When we arrived, the first thing I noticed was the views over Bryan/College Station, they are truly amazing. We were there not only for a birthday but to watch Texas A&M kick off their season. They had the game on several TVs around the rooftop and with lots of comfortable seating, watching the game was almost like watching it at home. Credit here goes not just to the setting, but to the exceptional team on duty Mattie, Georgia, and Jordan. Their service struck the perfect balance: attentive without hovering, genuinely enthusiastic, and clearly invested in making sure guests felt welcome. It’s rare to find staff whose energy elevates a night just as much as the food or drinks, but they pulled it off effortlessly. Speaking of drinks: Reveille’s bar program is worth lingering over. We sampled a variety of their specialty cocktails alongside the classics, and not a glass disappointed. The food followed through with equal strength. Chef Keith Snook deserves applause for a menu that blends Texas heartiness with elevated execution. The Short Rib plate was rich and tender, the Texas Charcuterie board felt both rustic and refined, and the Pork Belly Burnt Ends were smoky, indulgent, and perfectly caramelized and were the kind of dish that lingers in memory. Reveille isn’t just a bar; it’s a destination. Whether you’re there for the food, the cocktails, the football, or simply the view, this is a spot that delivers on all fronts. We’ll absolutely be back, and next time, it won’t just be for a special occasion
Passion Star Martini & an Old Fashioned to end our dinner date. Super cute area. Valet was under $6. Was super quiet and dark inside the bar itself so we enjoyed our drinks outside by the pool. My hubs loves an old fashioned and I love a frothy martini - drinks were good. (Ran us about $40 with tip included)
I recently visited College Station for a History Conference at Texas A&M. I stayed at The George Hotel and they had a bar past the front desk. I tried a couple of drinks out in the 2 days. I tried the Sour Hour and the Famous 1791 Old Fashion. The Sour Hour drink was recommended by the male bartender that was working on Thursday night. He was very knowledgeable and kind. It wasn't too strong, great ratio from alcohol to juices. I will get that again. On Friday night, I went down to the bar again to try another drink. This time, I can't leave College Station without trying the 1791 Old Fashioned. All I can say is this particular drink is in my top 3 hands down and I had many old fashions in my time working at my current job (on my day offs, of course). They put a teaspoon of brown sugar to tone down the strength of the Whiskey (Buffalo Trace) but not for the Whiskey to lose it's purpose. I will most certainly get it again. They also have a food menu just in case you want to order something to eat. Next time I'm in College Station and staying at The George Hotel, I'm coming back. Good job everyone that worked, this past Thursday and Friday night.
This place was awesome! Great drinks and a ton of fun things to keep both adults and kids entertained! Mini golf, corn hole, ping pong and foosball. Had to drag our kids out of there after they played the course at least 5 times. Can’t wait to go back!
This is a great place to spend a day – they have delicious and fun drinks, plus plenty of activities like minigolf, ping pong, and table games. They also serve food. The activities can keep everyone occupied, whether you're an adult or a kid. I can't wait to go back!
I've lived in the BCS area for over 18years. During that time I have been to WingsnMore and Wingstop more times than I can count. With that in mind I have been hearing about Anchor Bar for a bit and decided to give it a shot with my little food critics. The place is really nice with a sports atmosphere. We were served by Jeremiah and had a great experience. He took great care of us and looked like he honestly enjoyed his job (my youngest daughter pointed that out). We ordered the mozzarella sticks as an appetizer, which did not disappoint. They were crispy on rhe outside and the cheese had a great pull. They were also intact, not missing half the cheese like other places. We ordered the lemon pepper buffalo sauce wings for our entree with a side of fries. The wings were actually the best wings we've had in quite a while. They were crunchy, juicy, and well seasoned. The fries were also great. Overall great experience. Will be back.
A really nice place to enjoy with friends and family. The service was really friendly and the food so tasty. The fried chicken with the sauces of your choice is delicious and the deserts incredible! 😋
Laid-back hangout with a cool vibe pouring 275+ global whiskeys, plus seating on a chill patio.
I cannot remember when my husband and I went there but everything was great except for the service.... The food was amazing, probably the best pizza we have ever had (being New Yorkers, we are picky about pizza). We had a couple drinks from two different bartenders there, one was a charismatic, he made me an amazing drink and my husband was impressed with his whiskey knowledge, the lady bartender.... she was awful, she was complaining to me about a previous patron that I guess didn't tip too well. My husband and I got the impression she was not liked by many as a lot of what seemed like regulars went to the other side to get drinks from the other bartender. All in all it was a great time, we come down often to visit our daughter, would come back but not if she was working again...
Absolutely stellar, over 400 whiskeys to try! Staff is awesome and knowledgeable, seem to really enjoy working there. Im not in college but passing through and I will always make it a point to stop here for great pizza and excellent whiskeys!!
The bartender at shot bar scammed me. My card bounced so I paid her in cash (it was $10) and when I looked at my transactions this morning it shows that she charged my card 6 times and it amounted to 32.5 dollars that it took from my checking account. So all in all i ended up having to pay 42 bucks for 10$ worth of shots. don’t go here, and definitely don’t give them your card.
Awesome place with great vibes and incredible music. DJ Liz is the absolute best. Always gotta come here when she’s playing. She keeps the good vibes flowing!!
Nice Quiet little place with Cold Beer and A/C!! We had a Great time playing Bumper Pool!
Best hole in the wall bar I've ever visited. Locals were friendly, great service. They let us Bluetooth the Royals game to the TV.
My squad and I visited College Station this past weekend and went out for drinks, glad we went here for our first location. It set the tone very well and the service was top notch. We even met a Texas A&M football player who was down to earth. My only zonk was the music, the mixes were a little outrageously random. But overall, it was a fun experience!
A&M always brings the energy with each new semester at Good Bull 🥳 Multiple levels with large dance floor upstairs with a lit crowd. The best bartenders and staff moving the crowd in quickly to get the night going.
Atmosphere is good I guess. The dance floor is ridiculously small. Love that it caters to 21 and under and over, however, whoever is hiring these HORRIBLE djs needs to be fired immediately. Every weekend I go to Northgate hoping that at least ONE dj can give the people what they want and yet,,,I’m disappointed every time. Why do all DJs at northgate seem to hate Beyoncé ? Nicki Minaj? ANY BLACK PERSON REALLY?! And if they do play them, it’s their WHITEST SONGS from like 2011. Please get it together.
Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and amazing drinks! The vibe was perfect for a night out, and the music really set the mood. Highly recommend trying their signature cocktails – they’re crafted to perfection. Will definitely be coming back!
Convivial Irish bar featuring a large selection of beer & whisky, plus a patio & event nights.
O’Bannon’s Taphouse is a gem tucked away in College Station’s Northgate district, delivering a genuine Irish-pub feel with a modern twist. I tried the Pain Killer cocktail—akin to a Piñ Colada—and it was, without a doubt, the best I’ve ever had in the U.S. But it didn’t stop there. O’Bannon’s boasts over 75 craft beers (on top of their extensive bottled selection), rotating frequently so there’s always something new to discover. Whether you’re savoring a perfectly poured Guinness or sampling a hazy IPA, every beer feels intentional—and never watered-down. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, with friendly, attentive staff and a comfy patio for relaxing nights. Wednesdays bring trivia, Thursdays offer great beer deals, and Fridays feature $5 Guinness—perfect for mixing stellar drinks with a social, laid-back vibe. If you’re in Aggieland and crave quality beer or a memorable cocktail in a place that truly feels like a second home, O’Bannon’s is where you want to be.
The best beer selection I have seen in College Station. Nice pub vibe with a chill back porch if you want to sit outside. Lots of good craft beer on draft. Apparently, the owner is also a partial owner of a local brewery they have on draft, which is really good and decently priced. Beers are a really good deal on Thursdays!
This game-day bar serves burgers & fried fare, plus local beers & party platters for big groups.
Came here for the first time with my friend. Ordered the Starting Lineup Sampler (Mozzarella Logs, Sliders, and Boneless Chicken Wings), Queso and Chips w/ Boudin, Pepper Jack Boudin, and the Sweet Potato Fries. For drinks, we ordered the Raspberry Lemonade and Abita Purple Haze beer. Decent prices for delicious food. Their menu has tons of other delicious choices. The food is geared towards cajun food which is different from other bars. I’ll definitely be back whenever there’s a good football game as well. Staff are friendly. Lots of tables to dine at to include a full bar. Tons of TV monitors all over the place and lots of parking.
Our waiter Gerardo was very polite and kept checking on us. For being a saturday night we didn’t have to wait to be seated. Quickly seated and served. We tried the Boudin balls w Spicy ranch , fried gator w Dijon dipping sauce 🐊 for appetizers. I got the bayou pasta w grilled shrimp and crawfish & hubby tried the Sirloin sliders w waffle fries. I highly recommend the gator. It’s the best in town!! We also got to try some drinks the eye of the hurricane was delicious. 🍹🍺
My squad and I visited College Station this past weekend and this was one of the spots we found ourselves stopping by. It was very crowded and very loud. The DJ didn’t take our request to play some SP5DER, but the drinks were good, so once we had our drinks, we left. Good “party” atmosphere though, just not our vibe.
This is the newest Club in the Northgate area really high class with two different atmospheres. The Third floor Firstdown gives you a view of all Aggie campus. Totally if you new to the area check it out. The second floor is a real club experience with amazing decorations with a jungle theme. If you are a fan of House, Tech House, EDM etc… totally check it out. Apart from this genre of music DJ also involves Latin music and if you love Pop this is the place to be! Service is amazing, good prices amazing workers!!
Food was good. The atmosphere was cool, hopefully a lot better when it's later at night and more busy. The bartender/waitress we had, had zero personality, but the guy that relieved her was a lot nicer.
Ava took care of me first as I caught shift change. She was attentive and friendly even though she was training someone. The meat and cheese plate is always great. If you’re eating it alone, do yourself a favor and take some home for an omelette in the morning. The evening staff (Scott, Riley, Matt and Grady) were equally friendly but, I wasn’t there long after that to say much about them. Can get a little loud at times but, patrons are friendly and make menu suggestions that are reliable.
Rustic, long-running watering hole with porch seats, plus pool tables, arcade games & sports on TV.
Local college dive bar. Drinks seemed affordable. Food average. Crowded place, especially on game day. Shuffle board, 2 pool tables, 2 Steele tip dart boards, could use more TVs, & a remodel.
With two kids at school in Aggieland, we always hit up Dudley’s when we visit! The drinks food and service are great! Angela is a super friendly bartender!!!
My favorite bar on Northgate! The recent remodel they’ve done on the rooftop gives tropical Miami Vice vibes with an awesome bottle service/lounge area. Great drink prices and the bartenders make the best shots. Plus the manager is hot
10 years down the road and this place just keeps getting better and better. A true staple within the Northgate community. Highly recommend!
Enduring standby serving burgers, chicken strips, jerky & beer in a relaxed, country-style setting.
Very cool bar and grill that has a lot of character. Would be a great place to have a beer and burger. Has some pool tables and lots of old west decor. Really liked all the carving by customers into the wood work, as it gives it a unique look. Not sure if it's encouraged, but maybe bring a jackknife and ask first.. The ice tea was excellent and the burger was good. Very dark inside. Could use the ceiling redone as it's seen better days. Worthing going to just to check it out.
Reviewing as a restaurant - I’d describe this as an expensive kid’s menu that also sells beer. The food was marginal at best. Reviewing as a bar - I’d describe this as an iconic local joint that you’d need to see if you’re in town. We were in town for a wedding and this is the place the youngsters getting married wanted to hang out with their friends. We had a great time but in retrospect we would have eaten before we came and just drank and hung out.
Sprawling family center offering bowling, laser tag & mini-golf plus a banquet room & food court.
I visited College Station with my squad and we wanted to go out and do something late night, this was the perfect spot for the occasion. All we did was bowl, but they had plenty to do here. The staff was kind and the atmosphere was great. The lane tables were a little crowded; close to the group over, but overall, this is a nice place to have some family friendly fun.
The service is a 10/10, there was a minor in inconvenience in the kitchen that set the food that we ordered back for a little bit over 40 minutes, we kindly ask the staff about our food and they made it their top priority to help us. Gratefully, having to wait for the food the manager added an hour and a half to our bowling time, gave us a free pizza, and a free play card that included an hour and a half of bowling and up to 5 people to bring. Definitely need to come back more often!!’
Cedar Lane is the place to be. Great drinks - Cold Beer. I love this bar!
I had the best experience with Bre, the lovely woman who serves pizza on dollar beer nights. She upholds the upmost standard of customer service while adhering to management guidelines. Bre is an underutilized asset.
This roomy spot for billiards & brews also offers darts, TV sports, karaoke & league tournaments.
My kids wanted to play pool and this place allows under 21 from 4-8pm at the billiard tables. It was a great experience and lots of fun. Great atmosphere. Very nice and well maintained tables. Also, some of the best installed tips on the pool cues I have ever seen in a bar setting. The cues themselves were just average and you had to hunt a little to find a straight one, but those tips were very good and allowed excellent ball control 👍. Will definitely be going back and will whole heartedly recommend.
Better than average dart set up. Lighting could be improved. Maybe door mats in front of boards so bounce outs aren't hitting a hard floor. Bartenders were great. Prices about average for this type of place. League darts on Wed. Not sure if they have a weekly tournament.
We always have a fun time playing pool and darts! Kassidy is one of the best waitresses we’ve had here! We come very often and she always has a smile on her face and super friendly and always makes sure we have drinks!
Michelob we're so good waiter was taking forever to come and take our o rders
Popular A&M hangout offering pub grub in a sports-bar setting with a rooftop patio.
The Corner Bar was an excellent location for an Aggie graduation party. The food was excellent and the service was top notch. I highly recommend visiting when you're in College Station.
The Corner Bar was always a blast while I was at A&M in 2009 and 2010. It was either Corner or Martini Street for a night out on Friday or Saturday. Definitely a fun and social spot with a great view from the top!
Burgers, pizza & beer served alongside many large-screen TVs showing sports & music videos.
I've been here a few times and have never had bad experience here. My server Makenna was awesome she kept up with everything including mine and my sons sweet tea, she made good suggestions on items I was asking about what was good to try. Our food tasted great, hopefully I'll have Makenna again when I go back next time I'm on town, nice to actually have a good server now days.
Called the order in for 2 burger meals. Young guy was SUPER polite but struggled thru the entire 7 min call (I worked in a restaurant for a while in my younger years, so I get it, he was very nice but really struggled). I repeated the order 4 times in addition to his repeats. Was VERY vocal that I despise shredded cheese on fries & could he please make sure I got the nacho cheese on both fries, he confirmed. Clearly got shredded cheese on both. Avocado for both burgers have rotten spots all over them - at least cut them off before serving them. Lettuce is yellow & brown. Fries are hardly warm to touch in middle. Asked for & confirmed 4 times for the 4 ranches, 2 bubba sauces & ketchup - rcvd 2 ranch, 1 bubba sauce (that I swear to you had a fry in it & my security cameras actually caught it on video that I saved) & 0 ketchup. Just really frustrating after a long day.
Absolutely loved this place when it was called Martini Street back in 2009 and 2010 during my time in graduate school in the Mays MBA program at Texas A&M University. Was the absolute best place for cocktails and dancing at Northgate. Throw on a pearl snap shirt and some dancing shoes and bring your girl. It was a blast and magical memories!
Great place to hangout at. The bar is in the middle and usually have four bartenders (two on each side). Has an indoor and outdoor space. They have a good selection of beer for being in a college town. Service is usually good and they have decent specials. I like that they have a good amount of space inside and outside. They usually play country music, which I personally enjoy
Convivial, enduring sports bar offering beer & bar bites, plus trivia nights & live music.
Nice bar to enjoy food and drinks with music. They offer karaoke every Monday night. A definite favorite by locals. The food was good and priced decent being its a recession. Suggest the fried pickles and the Mac and cheese sandwich. The drinks were not good. Not enough alcohol for the price. Luckily I got a drink during happy hour but still wish I could have gotten my money back. It's a 3 dollar cover for guys on Mondays. I believe there is a cover for guys every night but not sure. Enjoy.
Tried to go there, used the ATM owned by them (called the ATM company) and tried to pull out $100, pulled $100 from the bank but no money came out, no receipt and tried to talk to management and was met with rude looks and basically told sucks to suck. While this was happening a guy came in to see if his money had come out (happened to him an hour earlier) so we aren’t the first. Could’ve been an easy fix but they obviously don’t care to fix these mistakes that happen consistently.
Looking for a place with real atmosphere in College Station? The Backyard should be at the top of your list. Nestled in Northgate at 303 University Drive, this spot blends backyard chill with bar buzz—boasting the largest patio and biggest screen in the district, plus two outdoor bars, shaded picnic seating, string lights, and yard games that invite friendly competition. On cooler nights or Thursday evenings, you’ll be drawn outside to watch live music—local favorites like Jared Shultz bring heat without the usual DJ playlist distractions. As night deepens, the indoor and upstairs areas crank up with DJ beats and dancing. When hunger hits, Mighty Slice Pizza delivers big, affordable slices on-site, while drink pricing stays smart and flexible—perfect for groups or budget-minded Aggies. Whether you’re catching a game, chilling with your dog outside, or dancing under neon lights, The Backyard delivers versatility and energy. Heads-up—ID checks can be strict, and it gets rowdy inside. But if your idea of a great night includes great people, games, live tunes, and an easygoing bar atmosphere, The Backyard is where fun sets in—and stays.
I ate from the truck. It was good until I threw up after I saw the man making food in black gloves, ostensibly to keep the food clean for the customers, using his cell phone and scratching his face. You know that phone is used in his bathroom. I am physically ill.
Best place to enjoy country dancing in college station. I’ve had 2 step lessons there, danced west coast, barre coast, and country swing all in this dance hall. I love bringing my family and brothers there. The DJ is incredible and country nights are usually Thursdays and Saturdays! Wonderful place to be and there’s a good mix of country music, line dances, and pop music later in the night. Come and join if you want to get a dance in!
Since Harry’s closed, knight club has become the best place in town to go two stepping on Thursdays. It’s honestly so chill and the floor is smooth to dance on. I definitely recommend coming out on Thursday and Saturdays to get your country dancing on!
Came to college station to visit family and safe to say I won’t be back. Employees are rude and on a power trip. Do yourself a favor and spend your money elsewhere.
the bouncer that was facing towards the apartment buildings was very rude. would not recommend.
Never had any issues till the bouncer. He is rudest person, he grabbed my arm when I gave him my ID, and he was like youre not 18 and kicked me out the area and told me he would call the cops. Im literally 21 so I was confused.
That bouncer needs to go. Grabbed me and threw my id far away even though I’m 23 and my id is real. He threatened me that he could knock the lights out of me. I am seeking legal action and this man should be fired
Monday night on 10/21/24, I went to this place with a group of friends and had a good time in the begging, but towards the end, I accidentally went to the wrong restroom and the bar tender (short with brown/black hair) was very rude and started pushing me and hitting me as soon as I was trying to leave that restroom. There were no labels on the restroom at all and so the bartender is racist and kicked me out of the bar because I accidentally when to the wrong restroom. Overall, this place is racist and would never ever go here again.
Great food, service, and atmosphere!! I've been 3 times since they opened and have had a wonderful experience each time. Chicken and waffles for brunch was definitely my favorite, but I also loved the chicken sandwich and fried appetizers that I've gotten other times. There's so much seating for groups to hang out and also a fun date night spot. Drinks are yummy. Everything is priced very reasonably!! The staff is always ready to help serve you and you can tell they're working hard. Even on a busy game weekend the staff was very attentive and helpful. I will definitely be back!!
If your looking for Patron don't come here. It's not the place. What kind of bar is that. Even though they have Patron bottles everywhere
Fun local college bar! This was a fun place to do some dancing on parents weekend. Manager was great helping when my car got towed even though I was legally parked! Appreciated how helpful he was at getting the mistake resolved quickly.
Lively DJ dance club & cocktail bar with late hours, e-hookahs, lighting effects & drink specials.
Someone ordered bottles and I gotta say it was an experience. I took a little of the bottle - looked to my left, someone was just all up on me…. Usually not my style but hey when in social. A+ rating.
I'm guessing since it's summertime it's pretty laid back but it was a good time for me and my friends
