Excellent staff. I had the honor of meeting the owner and management. What an elegant and assertive person who knows the needs of her clientele. I have represented several establishments and I can say the Annex is a welcoming and cordial environment. The drinks were complimented as being excellent and tasty. The band was amazing and the staff made all my guests feel at home. I strongly recommend a party or gathering at this fine establishment any time. 5 stars. This place is a hidden gem, and the owners are such beautiful people. We always love the vibe. The music and the drinks never let you down. I normally stop in for meetings, and the last time we were here was for an event my business was sponsoring. It was an amazing night. Definitely must give it a try and see what our downtown Corpus Christi community is all about.

Best spot for a smash burger come hungry definitely a bang for your buck ...and bartender Chucky will have your drinks on point!

If you're looking for that classic neighborhood pub vibe, 1920 on the south side of Corpus Christi is the place to be. I’ve been coming here since they opened, and it’s become our go-to spot. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, making it so easy to strike up a conversation. the staff, who always seem to greet you like an old friend are great! Such down to earth cool people. Not to mention there Old Fashioneds!!

Great place Great Music but the bartenders make it uncomfortable with their attitude! We all left due to them ignoring us & when they did acknowledge us they were rude. We ain’t in the 90s no more get with the program of customer service.

Was Shorty’s Luck Bar but has new owners and has been remodeled. Great neighborhood bar with amazing bartenders and friendly customers. Love the remodel! It’s like being in south San Antonio! Love it

They have the best fish tacos! We love going almost every Tuesday for taco time and the relaxing atmosphere with friends. The bar staff and cook always provide excellent service. Have them blackened or fried or have both because they are the best fish tacos in town on any night!

Small place so we had dinner at the bar. My brothers both loved their Voodoo burgers! My seafood dinner combo was excellent!! We also enjoyed some good margaritas!!

They have only had a soft opening but I can't wait to be a member. It has a really great welcoming vibe especially for cigar smokers. The lights are low the ambiance is great. They have great black and white pictures of times gone past, great art hanging and etc. It's styled as you would do your own lounge if you could. The seats and chairs are high quality leather and very comfortable to sit in. There are multiple TVs so you can always keep your eye on the game or whatever is going on. Full bar with full service! This is a cigar smokers paradise. As it appears it's the only one in the city it's going to be a hot commodity to get a membership here. Highly recommend you getting one why you can. Management has a lot of awesome future events planned and opportunities to look forward to. Including special releases and eventually private lockers. It has 24-hour private access and is BYOB for its members. From providing ice, glasses, mixer, and water this place is high class!

First off, the drinks were fantastic. Lots of on theme cocktails and amazing selection of liquors. But the main point on why I am writing this post while still sitting at the bar is the deep dish Chicago style pepperoni pizza I ordered. I have been on the pizza tour in Chicago and none of those pizzas exceeded my expectations. This pizza blew me away. From how the crust still had a nice crunch while having a soft interior to the sauce bursting with flavors that I wasn’t prepared for. Prohibition has exceeded every expectation I didn’t even know I had. A must stop while in Corpus Christi. We will be back again. Thank you to the staff and Freddy for the amazing experience.

We had an amazing dinner at Twin Peaks! The food was not only delicious but the service was absolutely outstanding. Our server, Maya, was so kind, attentive, and took the time to chat with us about where we’re from. On top of that, she’s just as beautiful as the other servers, which makes the atmosphere even more enjoyable. The service here was friendlier and more engaging than what we usually experience back home in Canada. Prices were very reasonable, and the beer was ice cold — just perfect. Highly recommend!

I had an outstanding dining experience, thanks in large part to our server, Clarissa From the moment we were seated, she was warm, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. They made great recommendations based on our preferences and checked in at just the right times without ever feeling intrusive. What really stood out was their genuine friendliness and professionalism — it felt like they truly cared about making our meal enjoyable. Every detail, from drink refills to special requests, was handled quickly and with a smile. It’s rare to find service this polished and personal. Great restaurant and whiskey bar. We had a group of 6 and really enjoyed it. Nicely decorated with a great vibe. The cocktails were 💯- recommend Writer’s Block and Children of the Corn! Extensive whiskey selection - Texas, Kentucky, Tennessee, Japanese and more. Service was a tad slow, but the servers were friendly. Food was good, portions are on the smaller side.

Excellent cocktail lounge with a wide selection of whiskey and bourbon. Reservations recommended and you can choose between bar, lounge, or dining area. We prefer lounge as they have leather couches.

Gold Fish is easily my favorite bar in Corpus. Best Old Fashioned in town, no question—and the rest of the cocktails are just as solid. The bartenders know what they’re doing and always take care of you. Real laid-back vibe, good music, and just an all-around great spot to unwind. If you go, ask about the cucumber-infused waters—sounds fancy, but it’s actually super refreshing. Can’t beat this place.

Great spot in Corpus. There doesn’t appear to be many good cocktail bars in Corpus, but I reckon this is the best. Great drinks, nice atmosphere, at reasonable price. Would absolutely return.

Tapology or, Taps, as the goers call it. Is fun! I've been coming here for a while. They have an ametur (but so funny) comedy thing here sometimes. There's TONS of beer on tap (as the name would suggest) and the bartenders are everything!! Every. Single. One. Of them. Is. Awesome. I said what I said. There's a couple pool tables. Though, the pool sticks leave a lot to be desired. People don't come here for that, they come for the beer on tap and whatever sporting event is on. I usually spend my time sitting in the seating area that's scattered with different colored sun shades and cool signs lining the walls and a very dignified cat! I smoke and write in my journal when no one I know is around and, when there are; I spend time with them. No matter what though, I feel happy when I'm here. Oh! And also!!! Heh! There's arcade games and shuffleboard and an app based music player that you can use by downloading the app! It's honestly total legit news. 🍍 😊 Lastly, say, "hi" to Raquel. She's the best human and deserves all the love.

Honestly, I'm not exactly a beer connoisseur, and I've always passed by this place for years, but I finally stopped by on my birthday weekend and got to taste some of their crazy beer flavors. I mean, blueberry beer? That's a new one, but weirdly, I loved it! The vibe was awesome, with great tunes and friendly people. I'll definitely be back for more! 😃

Great island bar that I heard from some locals has new management and really improved the atmosphere. Bartender was great with quick service. Live music (one man show) was awesome. Had some comfy couches out on the patio. Overall solid spot to grab a drink and hang out.

My GF and I recently visited the grand view after a recommendation from some locals. We were throughly impressed with the views and atmosphere of the lounge. We visited with other folks who were also in for the weekend. Melissa, the bartender was awesome! My GFs drinks were spot on and my beer never went empty (idk if that was a good thing or bad😁). Overall we thought it was great place to hang out , relax, and have a few drinks before going downtown. We well definitely visit again when in CC!

A very average margarita but the atmosphere was super chill. It’s hard to beat the view.

Love the ladies working the drive thru! Seriously! & they have the best crunchiest dill pickles I'm not even playing! I always leave from here happier than going in. Absolutely love this place. A gem of a live music venue. First timer and was impressed! Venue/bar/service staff were all SUPER friendly and made the experience 5 star! Be sure to tip generously because they deserve it! The bands sounded great and the pizza was the cherry on top! Excellent! Perfect spot for a night out on the town to see some live music. Was in Corpus for the day and stopped in for lunch. So glad we did! Immediately welcomed with a smile AND EYE CONTACT as soon as we walked in...GREAT start. Food was great, atmosphere cool, customer service phenomenal! Wish we lived closer because we'd go back again and again. Highly recommend the Corpus Christi Bay cocktail 🍸

My favorite bar in town! The atmosphere is so welcoming the drinks are reasonably priced, the bathrooms are always clean(rare in the bar scene) and the staff is super attentive. It’s my regular spot and the first place I recommend.

We visited this place on “work night” , and it was fairly nice vibe, I’m pretty sure this is a banger in the weekend, but we did wanna celebrate our training being done and it was really great, the local bartender was very nice and helpful, they were able to make a nice mocktail and helped my colleague with quite a variety of drinks, they also have pools tables if I could say the sticks needs a bit of a upgrade but hey it’s a bar! Still had fun and they played oldies and songs up to date, so I loved it.

Went for the first time and they had a wonderful band playing. There is a dance floor as well as a whole room for seating. They have food if you want to eat, I will definitely be back to try the food as well. They have another room as well that is quieter and plays music while the TVs show the music video. The drinks are appropriately priced.

genevieve is such a sweetheart! she made us feel comfortable and let us know right away what drink specials were going on. Made sure we were okay and if we needed anything else. hands down a very nice clean and relaxed bar. Will most definitely come back! prices are unbeatably!

The food was ok. It has been better. Maybe we caught them on a bad night. The show was good. The bar service was great and fast. The servers for food were lacking customer service. They were ignoring us and a lot of others when they would ask for stuff. The atmosphere was good for the show we saw. We would go again. Definitely recommend it for shows and bands. We haven't been there to just eat.

The staff were really nice and the bartender was great at her job. The Hello Sunshine burger was mid at best. I had asked for grilled onions and when I received my burger, there were no onions. So I had to go back up to ask for some and wait longer. On top of that, my patty was charred. My friends really liked their chicken fried steak with gravy.

I love this place, it's has great drinks and shows, highly suggest the show every Wednesday at 11:45 pm 😀 also every Friday and Saturday upstairs there is Karaoke with Orion and Laurie B.

Their drinks are affordable and very strong. The Saturday night drag shows are EPIC! My only complaint is that sometimes the music inside is so loud the bartender can barely here you.

Melanie was such a rude person and she didn’t even seem like she wanted to be there. She gave POOR service and I definitely won’t be back. I don’t know if she was tipsy or if she’s just rude and normally talks like that

I love going to their Karyoke night. Joe does a wonderful job meeting the rotation going and always looks out for us. The waitresses are on top of it. You will never go thirsty. The atmosphere is quite and relaxing.

Come and see Corpus at its best! Strong drinks, friendly servers and always great people watching. More of a local place, but always busy on weekends. Much bigger after the recent expansion.

Love this place. Great cocktail menu, perfect place to hang out with your partner, on a date or just with friends. They don’t have food but can order via there on site booth for Mexican food delivery from next door.

Went here on a friend's recommendation, and I enjoyed my meal. Very casual, laid-back atmosphere. Order as you enter and seat yourself. I had the fish & chips and a tossed salad. The fish was really light, crispy, and flavorful! I was disappointed with the shoestring fries as the "chips." Not bad. I just have never been a fan. Expected thicker cut fries. 🤷‍♂️ The tossed salad was great, nicely sized, with the manager recommended walnut dressing. I saw most people ordering burgers... maybe next time!

I visited last Friday evening. My server was April L, and I had one of the best experiences. It was my first time there, and she made it truly worthwhile with her excellent people skills, sense of urgency, and friendliness. Everything was a perfect 10 out of 10! I highly recommend that anyone who goes there requests her. She will certainly make you feel well taken care of, and you won't have to ask for anything. She's incredibly attentive and always smiling. The kind of service she provides makes you lose track of time. She's very easy to talk to, making you want to stay there all night. I will definitely return.

I made a Google account just to write this review about April at Eddie’s. This was the best service I’ve ever had in my 29 years of living. She brings a great presence into the room, and I know she brings it as soon as she clocks in. Everything she said was hilarious. And the way she carries herself not only does she look like Chris Perez from the Selena movie but the uniform is great. Keep her. And the cooks are just as good as Aprils service. Great crispy wings the meat come straight off the Bone. definitely coming here again.

Glad we walked in here! The bar isn’t very big there’s some seating inside, and plenty more outside. Lori was the only bartender I saw all night! She’s definitely amazing at what she does. She kept up with all the beverage orders she was getting, and handled the overload like a champ. She never once seemed overwhelmed, or frustrated working the bar alone. She had a big smile welcoming everyone as they entered the bar. She made a killer Mexican Candy shot! I enjoyed the music variety some country, hip hop, and some rap. There’s 1 pool table inside which is free to play. They have darts, and slot machines inside as well. I love the decor inside, don’t forget to leave your signed bill on one of the walls. There’s parking on the lot, and side street parking. Thank you for your great service Lori!

Excellent Saloon! It is a fun place for locals and tourists to hang out and have a cold beverage after exploring the attractions on North Beach. I'm always trying to find the perfect margarita, and my bartender, Lori, prepared a delicious top shelf marg with seasoned salt on the rim. It was so awesome, I was forced to have another one! I highly recommend the Blue Marlin!

This bar definitely gives "Cheers" vibes. I loved it! 😍 Just a friendly neighborhood bar with an amazing atmosphere. The service is great and the regulars are so inviting. Spent the weekend visiting a friend, and she took us to Watering Hole Pub. II loved everything about it. Pricing is great, and the beer is ice cold. I'll definitely be stopping by every time I'm in Corpus. The bartender was very fun/energetic and was working her butt off.

What a cool place for a change of pace! Reasonably priced drinks, friendly and fun. The decor and vibe reminds me of a 50’s-early 60’s Vegas lounge. Definitely a must visit if you’re in Corpus!

Barton St is consistently a friendly and fun place to go in flour bluff. The drink prices, free pool, and shuffle board keep me going back. The karaoke on Wednesday - Saturday is awesome, professionally hosted by Ms. ROSIE. There are many great singers to hear and watch that are entertaining the entire bar.

Came to Corpus with my boyfriend and stayed at the hotel near this location. We decided to try it out since it was close by and we had never been to any of the bubba locations before. I was so pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere there how relaxing and enjoyable it felt. The drink choices were plentiful and the food was great! I had the pineapple smash which I would highly recommend. The server Zoe was enthusiastic about explaining how it works since it was our first time there. The manager came by to check on us to see if we were good and the wings were finger licking good. The music was chill but lively, it was an all around great experience. I will definitely try them again but maybe in my home town next time. 😁

Just wanted to share that me and my psa animal were denied at this bar…. They told me that even though he was my service animal they were not going to allow us to stay. They spoke about the law… when I know ADA law. Mind you my psa animal is a small dog no larger than 14 lbs.

This is genuinely a disgusting place, I cannot recommend enough to stray away. Unless it is you're a lonely and divorced single man who wants fake flirting from the bartenders. My wife and I walked in and were looked at with disgust because we didn't look miserable enough to be there. We left after receiving our first drink due to the horrible quality of the service, the bartender played cards in the corner with someones divorced dad instead of attending to any of the guests, and even though people were smoking cigarettes in there I couldn't stop smelling a strange musty smell that made my stomach turn. If you love yourself you probably won't ever go there or if you make the same mistake as us you will NEVER return.

Never been to this bar but came with my husband and found it to be spacious and clean. The bar had some renovations so it was bigger. The music was a mixture, the drinks were cold and the staff was great.

This place does not allow service dogs!!! They singled my friend out due to her having a service dog there who was very well behaved. She was kicked out due to "the owner seeing the dog on the camera". My friend explained it was a service dog and they still kicked her out.

Was visiting Corpus with family and me & my boyfriend decided to go out, we found The Social through TikTok and decided to give it a try. This spot did not disappoint, the DJ knew what he was doing, the music was great and so were the vibes. Bartenders were nice and quick, drinks were good. Would definitely go here again whenever we come back to visit.

When it’s packed on the weekends the atmosphere is great at times the restroom could be better I’ve had good and bad moments weekend are not the best for the restroom. Love the big slide they have there in the back along with the sitting swings. They have heaters outside during the cold times. Over all it’s a good bar to chill definitely just need to work on having more drinking products in stock and better restroom attendant.

Has an initial smell of mold inside. Live music is outside… in the dirt mostly. A great place for making and meeting friends. Not a place for high end fun. I wouldn’t revisit but some people enjoy this type of place. Didn’t eat as it seemed not so sanitary.

The bar is great and the service is friendly. They don't serve food but there is a restaurant inside with a great menu. No barbecue. The Thursday night steak night is fun and reasonable.

This was such a fun place. The playlist was customizable, the drinks were good. The bartenders were friendly and there was beer pong for me and my friends to have a safe place to hang out and it’s just across the street from McDonald’s and the gas station it’s super safe and Such a vibe.

Indoor and outdoor seating. Nice bar. Friendly service. We ordered the garlic parmesan oysters. While good, you could not taste the garlic. My husband ordered the Tavern sampler with fried mushrooms, fried pickles, and 2 sliders. The mushrooms and pickles were good. He said the sliders were ok. I ordered the grilled shrimp with side cesaer salad and mixed veggies. I was given grilled chicken instead of the shrimp. I chose not to send it back 'cause I didn't want to wait for the correct order. The chicken was ok. The mixed veggies were a little soggy. The salad was ok, but the lettuce must have been rinsed just prior to me getting it as there was a small amount of water in the bowl and it had thinned out the dressing. While the food was ok, you're probably better off with the fried food.

I didn't try the food, but the beer 🍺 was cold and the patio was beautiful.

The Texan has very reasonably priced drinks. The selection of draft beer is good and served cold. Pool, darts, and an expansive & well landscaped outside area are available.

Late-Night Gem! We were struggling to find food late at night and everything else was closed or just fast food. I saw this bar online and noticed they stay open 'til 2am, so I called to check if the kitchen was still open (closes at 1:30am, by the way). So glad we went! We ordered the steak nachos and wow they were way better than your typical bar food. The steak was super flavorful and actually juicy and well seasoned. Also got the jalapeño poppers, and they were crispy, creamy, and had the perfect kick. The bartenders were super friendly, which made the experience even better. Honestly, everything hit the spot. Great late-night find. 10/10 recommend!

Love love love wonders. I always make sure to come when gabi or faith are working! Originally came in to try their new shrimp, tacos, and hands-down, best bar food, but also some of the best shrimp tacos I have ever ever ever had!!

Took my 15 year old here one of our vacation nights for something to do, he had a blast! There are so many games to play and it's by wristband so you dont have to worry about coins, you walk up to a game and play it! Awesome!!

Took daddy's little girl for a fun night out to this awesome place for the second time. A year ago we came here and did karaoke and had some good food. This time we had some horrible pizza and the runs afterwards, lol! Other than that, the arcade upstairs is always fun and the rooftop is so cool! Good time all around.

This place is Nice, Fun and Cool. 😎 👍 I just wish they'd start accepting All debit and credit cards, But UNfortunately they DON'T, and i wish they had a few More Snacks for us to buy, such as nachos or popcorn, plus NOT All of us drink alcohol so we want a few more choices in sodas. The Karaoke 🎤 🎶 was Fun, the kj had a Nice voice, there were other good Singers in there (including Me, LoL!), but the area where they hold the karaoke is really small, plus it's in the "outside patio" and there's smoking outside (it was Cool but my sinus gets easily affected in a bad way when i'm around smokers so i had to Leave right away). Pizza and wings were 🔥. Was my first time visiting so I was a little confused with the layout. I went for lunch, and just sat down. Not knowing you order at the bar. Didn't sit long before bartender came by to help. Very sweet, she offered some reccomendations for lunch. I ordered a pepperoni and bacon pizza, and some hot lemon pepper wings. Everything was perfect. Will be back. I always passed by cause it's a bar, and I don't drink. But I'm in the middle of eating at hidden gem spots and this is definitely one.

DJ was kickin. Great pizza rolls from Neils urban kitchen. Played pool and sat at a table just outside the kitchen. The bartender was awesome and went out of her way to make sure we were very well taken care of. Upbeat atmousphere, but not too busy for a Friday night. BEWARE and make sure you have some extra time: Zeus will thoroughly pat you down and search inside anything you are carrrying for guns and knives before you can enter the premise. Otherwise you may find Zeus getting ice for the bar or helping out in the kitchen and is there for your protection as well. I'll be back to hang out and play some of the crazy giant games y'all have.

What a great sports bar. Couldn’t count all of the TVs they hard. Lots of seating and even an outside bar with TVs. There is also games pool table and more. Big choices for beers both draft and can/bottle. Also the staff are very friendly. I had a barbecue burger that was great and spicy bbq wings also very good. After being here at three different times I can sadly say that their food is not that great, I wish I could say better but the only thing that is okay about this place is their atmosphere and service. They are always playing games on the TV for anyone that likes sports and the news. That kinda it. Salty on the fries and salad is a bit old all three times I have come here. Last time I had a burger and it still wasn't good and I kinda say this place is probably more for drinks and not food. Good place for a hang out with the buddies and such.

DO NOT GO!!!! Bar tender was an older guy, who was staring in an off putting way. Then I see he over charged me! I had one drink and remember putting a single digit number as the TOTAL! and it’s not what I was charged. Then, their phone number they have listed is disconnected. BS

Doorman/Bouncer was drunk and slurring his words and had the nerve to not let me in cause he said i was slurring my words when i hadnt even said a word to him yet all i did was show him my foreign ID. Sounds like discrimination to me. Crazy work. I called him out on him slurring his words and got pissed and sent me on my way lol

I went to the bar to enjoy time with a friend but when I was entering the doorguy was rude and disrespectful. I went in with my friend for a few minutes but left because the doorguy ruined the experience. Maybe don't let the doorguys and workers get drunk on the job? Very unprofessional and I will never return there.

Bouncers are extremely rude and unreasonable. All of them should get fired after today. My group and I saw them punch a girl and then continued to push another girl onto the floor.Do better

I ordered no-sauce wings for a quick dinner for my family while staying at a nearby hotel, and we were very disappointed. The wings were bland, had no flavor, and seemed to have been fried without any flour. If this was a mistake in preparation, it’s surprising that it wasn’t caught before serving. The only redeeming part of the meal was the churros, which were good.

I was really looking forward to checking out a Mexican sports bar for football. Walked in and the number of TVs were better than expected based on the photos. Problem was it was 10 minutes before the noon games and no game audio. I enjoy some good Mexican food and music to go with it, but Sunday is for football and you can’t call yourself a sports bar in the US if you’re not ready for NFL Sunday. Think you guys are missing out on some Sunday business, I definitely had to leave.

IF I COULD GIVE ZERO I WOULD! My husband spent $40 for us to get in.. THE SERVICE IS TERRIBLE!! The waitress only came to our table TWICE.. TWO waitresses completely IGNORED our table.. we had over $1,000 ready to spend.. NOT at this place!! Unless you want to be totally ignored by the staff and dancers

Bought out a girl here for a set price. Manager dude claims it’d be 200 more. Money hungry when you’re already getting a cut is crazy.

I just want to give a shout out and say thank you to the awesome folks at this fine establishment. You guys came through for me today in the most amazing way possible. My dog Scoops went missing right the end of art walk and yall came through with a loud public announcement for the chihuahua with the gold chain. I heard it over a block away while I was asking people. I just knew the right person would hear it and we would be reunited. It seems silly but I am so grateful yall cared enough to use your time, equipment and effort to help us find her. Yall could have said sorry but it's your responsibility. This is what community does for one another and I am throughly impressed and forever grateful. Scoops and I will be in soon for a drink. Thank yall!🐕

Horrible the guy said $6 per Beer $10 minimum for a credit card charge, on top of that they charge me $3 on top of that so $12 for 2 beers + $3 for using a CC, which i was never told about. Does this not defeat the purpose of having a CC minimum. Do you even understand the law of Contracts? Easy transaction for court of LAW.

It was an older crowd kinda night so it was chill live music everything on my end went pretty good Drinks are pricey But other then that it was okay

This is my one an only favorite night club the music 🎶 is always the best with great DJs and get staff this is where to be on a Saturday night
