I come here for the karaoke on Sundays with Debbie Kepi, the Karaoke Queen, the hostess with the mostest. And folks it is always great service when your bartender, Haley, will go to any extent to get a Lone Star in my hand. I heard that she'll drive the Texas City to get a Lone Star for a customer. How about that service! Luckily, when they ran out of Lone Star in the well she only had to walk in the back room and brought back a handful of Lone stars for me. Cool. And thank you. Hold on . She just brought me another cold one, and I didn't have to ask. Oh Haley. Rock on. Ok folks, this bar is Chuck Miller approved. Get in here. The End. By Chuck Miller.
Haley is an incredible bartender at Southbound! Not only does she make amazing drinks, but she also creates such a fun and welcoming vibe behind the bar. She’s quick, attentive, and always on point, even when the place is packed. You can tell she loves what she does, and it shows in the energy she brings. Whether you’re a regular or just stopping by, Haley will make you feel right at home. Highly recommend grabbing a drink at Southbound.
While my husband was fishing Friday evening Aug 29, 2025 I enjoyed drinks at the bar here. The bar tenders have always been friendly and provide good service. Me and my husband. always enjoy this bar when we visit Galveston, several times a year. It's just the best to "be on" the water, feeling the cool breeze, seeing people fish or fish ourselves and enjoy a cold beverage with good people like Varinia who we love as bartender when we visit. If you read the 1 star review of Willie Coleman, I was sitting by myself, when she came to the bar to order. All I will say is that the situation of ordering and taking the drinks as described did not happen. And especially nothing racist, so please don't believe that review. I would be gladly testify on the whole situation if need be. This photo taken was from the afternoon on the same day when we were checking out the fishing luck for that day. It looks even better at night. We celebrated our first weekend as a married couple earlier this year there because we love this spot so much. P.S. the fishing pier gives 50% discount to veterans on their entree ticket.
My beach trip to Galveston included checking out the local bars/pubs. I have to say, out of all the spots we visited, Pelican and the Shark was by far the favorite. The service was outstanding, with Varinia and Deb going above and beyond. The atmosphere had that total beach vibe that I’m always searching for. I look forward to going back on my next trip to Galveston. Until then, I’ll be cheering them from afar. 🍻
Diana’s is a charming addition to Galveston’s Strand. Diana warmly welcomed me to her shop and invited me to the many activities occurring on the Island this week! You’ll love the atmosphere and clothing.
Diana's has such cute stuff and I love the bar / lounge vibe. Plus they have. live music which is fun! Definitely a must see if you're on the strand.
Perfect Neighborhood Bar Great local spot to catch the game! The bartender is friendly and makes solid drinks. Easy to strike up good conversations with regulars and staff. Exactly what a neighborhood bar should be!
Firs time in but not our last. Mandy provided great service with our bubbly and beers. Very friendly. The place is cozy, easy to have conversations and much nicer than expected on the inside. Hidden gem!
We just did the island cruise with Clay, Emma and Emily and they were amazing. Everything was perfect. We did this with our young kids and they said it was the best day ever. Definitely kid friendly, not crowded. Such a beautiful time.
It was my friends and I first time here and it’s a whole vibe! From the drinks, the entertainment, and the atmosphere we will definitely be back. I love being able to sit out on the patio across from the beach! A great time was head! If you’ve never been, you MUST GO!!!
OGC is one of the coolest bars in Galveston. Dana, Jackson, and Luci are nice, friendly, and welcoming, and they make everyone feel like family. Their cocktails are delicious and reasonably priced. They also have a good selection of beer and wine. I recommend the espresso martini. There is live music on Friday and Saturday nights. The bar doesn't serve food, but you may order food from Mama Teresa's and eat there. Great vibes and excellent drinks. What else could you ask for?
OGC is an eclectic local wine/full service bar in the heart of downtown Galveston Tx It’s clean and comfortable. The bartenders are always nice and knowledgeable . They offer a variety of standard menu items and hand crafted cocktails. The beer and wine selection is amazing. It’s a cozy and comfy bar.🥰🥰
I walked in last night to an empty space—no music, no people, no bartender in sight. After about five minutes, someone finally emerged from the back. Service was basic but friendly. The interior is nicely designed, a pleasant surprise given the unassuming exterior—you wouldn’t expect what’s inside just by looking from the outside.
Small establishment. Not a huge selection of beers on Tap (2) but a nice selection of bottles.Nice selection of Liquor for mixed drinks. A little off the main beaten path. Like everywhere in Galveston finding parking can be tricky. If you want away from the hustle and bustle of the Big Galveston bars stop in and check it out. Food is available right next door at Mr. Taco for now. Understand they are interested in having a kitchen for future in house food service. Was ample room for our group of about 30+, So if you are looking for a place to host a group I say give them a call.
Nice little place. Decent amount of bar seating. Reasonable prices which vary whether you pay cash or card but that makes sense. Pretty good espresso martini and the food was good as well. Bartenders were very personal and I loved the martini art on the walls. Parking nearby pretty convenient especially after 6.
Great beautiful place but we ordered just a side of fried onion rings and jalapeños -even tho there were MAYBE 4 jalapeños in the mix. And it took what felt like forever to come out or maybe I was just hungry but the 2 couples that came in after us got nachos, and 2 sandwiches before we got our onion strings. Kind of a waste of money for some fried onions and “jalapenos.” But other than that, the beer was cold and they had sports on tv. So I would come again and maybe just get a bottle of wine and MAYBE some food. The sandwiches the other couple ordered did look good. Looked like she got a club sandwich? I would give this place another try. It’s my type of atmosphere and would love to make it one of my regulars. Edit: went back and it’s literally a beautiful peaceful getaway from the tourists place. It’s super nice inside and we ordered birria tacos and nachos and it was delicious. And affordable. A must for locals especially.
This place was so cool!!!! We were on a haunted pub crawl and stopped through here, they had a live artist, great bartender, amazing drinks, you must get the pixie stick shot, and the place was huge!!! I will absolutely be back!
Pretty cool place. Drinks darts, pool, sports, gambling and dogs. My only issue was that a girl had her dog on a seat and we couldn't sit at the bar.
Super cute bar! The bar menu is fantastic, there are so many options and they are all amazing. The espresso martini was great. This is the Zombie. It’s a sweet/sour drink that comes on fire! After about 15 seconds the fire can be put out and stirred into the drink. But there were so many different options and they really weren’t too expensive at all, the drinks were anywhere from $8-$22, most of them being $10-$12. It’s a great place to wait If you are waiting to get a seat in pineapple parlor, but a great bar in general just to hang out at. Highly recommend!!
Was recommended this place(I live in Houston) was told about the amazing cocktails, so decided to come try them. & I am amazed by the creativity & knowledge of both bartenders present(Gilbert, Britney) will definitely come back soon! Or when I’m in Galveston !
Chill hangout in a restored 1890s loft featuring craft brews, local art exhibitions & board games.
Was there as the guest band for Sidewalk Sessions. Second year doing this and we love the Proletariat Gallery & Pub for hosting and promoting live music. The staff is extremely friendly and the atmosphere is really cool. If your plans take you to Galveston the Proletariat needs to be on your list of places to go. And don't forget about the live music at Sidewalk Sessions on Wednesday nights from 8:30 to 9:30.
I haven’t eaten the food here but I love getting the Earl grey tea with a shot of almond milk on the side since it is loose leaf. The tea is delicious and I love the artistic atmosphere especially the bound notebooks on the counter with people’s art in it. The bartender is wonderful and nice. I highly recommend visiting if you want to relax with a nice drink and enjoy the atmosphere.
Ashely was super attentive and friendly. Good small bar vibes and relatively clean. Plus i don’t know if it was intentional or not but the jukebox was free and full of music, what’s not to like!
Great place to have a beer. They have food from seahorse grill(highly recommend) and bartenders who don't ignore you. Juke box, shuffleboard, pool table and a few machines. I'll definitely be back
So this was our last stop on the haunted pub crawl, and I remember we was HUNGRYYYYY. I was expecting like some chicken fingers our like cheese sticks when you think of bar food right? NAW. This place has a whole 4⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ restaurant hidden within its walls! I ordered the country fried steak and omgggggg it saved my life! The staff was very sweet and engaging even for how busy it was too! The only negative thing I have to say about our time here was the younger men that apparently regulate this place are completely awful and disgusting. Like don't understand the word no kind of jerks.
I really liked this spot. They had good thin crust pizza. The atmosphere was a welcoming.
Decent place. Bartender was nice. Went on a Saturday after Labor Day weekend, not many people.
Cool dive bar. Mostly rock music with a touch of country. Bike bar style.
Snug Irish-style watering hole serving sandwiches & brews in convivial surrounds.
The dude running the bar here was super cool. That said, it is not a place for grub. We heard the microwave go off a few times. If you've had some drinks and need something to chow on, then go ahead - that's what it's for. $9.50 for a microwaved sandwich, so if you're up for that, cool. For an Irish establishment, there was not very much the Irish feel, but then, this is Galveston, TX, so also, if you're up for that, cool. Still, the guy was awesome and he was friendly enough for me to say I would drink there again after having a lot of drinks at home because at that point I would not care where I was or how expensive the microwaved sandwich was.
O'Malley's was fun! I was here in the earlier part of the evening for happy hour. Got me a local Tiki Wheat Draft Beer and a cold shot of Fireball 🔥 They allow smoking inside, lots of pool tables, tvs, and a cozy bar! I enjoyed listening to the music and listening to some of the other patrons talk! I'll def have to come back and experience the night life for sure! The bartender was super cool 😎 and very knowledgeable in beers and alcohol! I didnt order any food, but it looks like they serve some emergency grub for late night fun! 😜
Holy shit! This place is the hidden gem you've been searching for your entire life. On The Strand, which is Galveston's main street. The talent blows so many other cities away. The manager, Dustin and the host Christian Weigand couldn't be better at their jobs. If you're in Galveston and you don't visit this place, you're just giving up on life. Don't give up! True talent and perfect experiences do exist.
The service was horrible. Walked in and the bartender just looked right past us. She helped others that walked in after us. I have been there before and never had that problem, but I will not return. There are other places on the island that will get my business and have friendlier employees.
We spent a lovely evening here on Sunday the 28th September. Great bar, great people, great atmosphere. Ps if you’re reading this from the bar and you remember……there was a young lady in later in the evening who was an expert in birds. My wife would like to connect with her. Can you make this possible? Thank you.
Not sure if this is Molly's or Old Cellar. The same place? This is a nice little bar, it's New Year's Eve and there are almost no people here. My partner and I can't figure this out. Good place, one star deducted because no whipped cream on the Irish coffee.
We were excited to see this place open as we live down the reach & have been watching the remodel. They did an excellent job! It is clean and contemporary. Bar seats are super comfy. Drink are cheap & strong. Happy hour daily. NO smoking which is great! The sell boar's head sandwiches if you are hungry. Bartenders are always friendly. Great little neighborhood hole in the wall bar!
Excellent hole in the wall bar with clean restrooms and great service. Wonderful sandwiches and great drinks and service from Missy. $1 to play pool. Coin machine available.
This is a great dive bar. Notice it's not 5 Star. No. They don't want that. Neither do you. No need to pay for Mercedes when you want a Chevy! This place will definitely be your best low cost leader. You have been told. Make choices. Choose wisely.
Let us be your alibi! Nice little bar. Looks closed late at night minus the small neon bud sign which says open below it. One pool table. Minimal seating but a good selection of liquor! Reasonable prices and friendly bartender too.
Classic Dive Bar, great selection of beers and cocktails. The location is great, right across the street from white sandy beaches. The bartender was super friendly and accommodating. Great view from the upstairs bar. One of my favorite Dive Bars anywhere.
We met friends at the Poop Deck. Not much can be wrong with a second floor bar area overlooking the beach and Pleasure Pier where you can get your favorite beverages. My only negative comment would be related to drink cost being too high, but that will keep you from overindulgence... BTW, don't come here thinking it's fancy!
They gotta be good I come Tuesday thru Sunday . But to me Thursdays , Fridays and Saturdays is the best days to go . But over all great facility , nice staff and good customer service
I was there for a beer is nice they have a space to dance to Is a laidback place.
I’ve read the positive and negative reviews. I found this place and people to be welcoming to drinkers. If your not one why are you here. It’s definitely a local bar but that’s what we all want when we travel a place where deference is based upon behavior not just being present. If I was a local this would be my local, I don’t like plastic people and there are none here. Be respectful it’s not a fast food place relationships take a while.
Hidden Gem with Amazing Vibes!Just discovered this place and I'm already planning my next visit! The service here is absolutely top-notch - our bartender was not only skilled at crafting drinks but very attentive throughout the evening. You can tell they really care about making sure everyone has a great time. The live music on the patio was the perfect backdrop for the night. There's something special about enjoying good drinks while listening to talented musicians in an outdoor setting. The acoustics were great and the atmosphere was relaxed but energetic. What really made the night memorable was stumbling into an intense UNO tournament happening inside. The competitive spirit was contagious and everyone was so welcoming to newcomers. It's rare to find a place that manages to balance great drinks, live entertainment, and that authentic community feel where strangers become friends over a card game. The drink prices were reasonable and the selection was solid. Whether you're looking for a chill evening on the patio or want to join the fun inside, this place delivers. Will definitely be back soon!Highly recommend for anyone looking for a genuine local spot with personality and great service.
Only here for our first afternoon in Galveston. Dropped in for a few drinks. Very friendly neighborhood bar. Honest bar. "Got white wine?" " Yes, but its terrible." Gin and tonics were great. Learned of a second bar - same owner. We'll be there another day.
Incredible little bar, loved crushing the karaoke last Saturday. Drink specials were good and the beer was cheap and cold. Bartender was friendly and of homely European stock. Felt at home almost immediately. Will be returning.
Open-air beachfront bar & deck featuring daily drink specials, live music, a pool & gulf views.
This place is amazing! Definitely a hidden gem - open air, constant breeze, and very reasonable prices!
Beautiful atmosphere as well as the views. Staff is very friendly. Loud music, cold beer and beautiful sunset. What else could you need. Heineken 0.0 was nowhere to be found, but hopefully soon it will be on thanks for the love
This is the place you're looking for in Galveston. Was recently there while traveling and wanted to find karaoke...Karen and crew were super attentive, welcoming, and fun. Good drinks that are super reasonable. Go for the karaoke (starts at 9pm)!
Perfect place for a stranger. If you don’t know anyone in town, come get your drink, smoke your cigar, have a little chat with bartender. Slot machines in and you can smoke indoors. Lovely!
Great local bar, friendly locals to talk to. Very reasonable beers and cocktails.
Small dive bar this is . Drinks flow and the staff is friendly. The jukebox is loud with a great selection, one pool table and a few sweepstakes machines (call them cheap slots ) great place to meet the locals and have cheap shots and cold beers. A must stop.
out of town customer but a service industry client, Troy was an amazing bartender! Small turn vibes with extra detail to personal preferences to drink orders. Small town drinks at a small town price!
Didn't eat anything but had a few beers. Nice and laid atmosphere in the afternoon. Staff and customers were 100% welcoming to out of towners. Will definitely be back next time in galveston
Great local bar and good service. Was on a veteran hike wirh hundreds of people and had a great time. The bartenders didnt even flinch at how many of us showed up all at once and did an amazing job!
Went to watch Sunday football in the back room, as we heard it was a good hangout for the Cowboys game. I was charged $4 for one light beer and my husband was charged $4 for two light beers (we were on separate tabs). Weird I got charged double, but not a big enough deal for me to dig into it with the bartender since it was only $2.00 and you can’t really be upset about a $4.00 beer. They were doing raffles each quarter and you could win a small prize if your name was drawn. Super cute and a great way to encourage people to come in! We did enjoy that they provided sandwiches, chips and cookies. I’m not sure if they have a kitchen in premises, but it was still very much appreciated that food was provided. However, we didn’t enjoy that there were kids there. I get it, it’s 100% legal to allow minors in a bar with adult supervision (whether it’s appropriate or not is another question). Most of the kids there weren’t a bother, but there was one in particular that made our whole experience unenjoyable. I can sympathize with families wanting to share in the tradition of Sunday football, but maybe don’t do it at a bar.
Informal American sports haunt featuring burgers, chops, sandwiches & brews in a laid-back space.
A little run down outside and in. Bartender kind of rubbed me the wrong way. We got the chili dogs and the bun was fresh baked I think not a store bun and it was soft, the chili was homemade but very light on the dog so left the whole thing a little dry, the hot dog was a thick style jumbo style. Tater tots were crispy. Hot dogs were huge, could definitely spilt one between two people that aren’t starving.
1980's stylish sports bar. I'm West End Campeche Islander found new hang out spot. This place has a cheeseburger that gives Mel's Diner competition and that's hard to do. They got a chili dog that has triple the chili than Sonic. Quieter place to watch Astros or Houston Rockets. They got a baked potato if you just trying to chill and avoid all the huge tourist crowd. Got 3 huge plates & 3 drinks all for $50 bucks. That's a deal nowadays!
Slick brewpub offering creative American bar bites & unique craft brews in warmly-lit surrounds.
Good selection of food. Burgers, sandwiches, tacos and salads. Kids options also. I got Blaines smash burger. It was really good and filling. My husband got the big tex. He said it was good as well although i think he would pick something else at our next visit. Not crowded, dim lighting. It was nice
Visited here on a Wednesday night. Tricia was going on and we were lucky to get a table for four. You have to go up to the bar to order brews and food, really my only complaint. The brews were cold and plenty of options. We ordered the Notorious P.I.G. which was the best pork I've ever had. The fries and chips are freshly made and seasoned well. Ordered the heat seeker burger, did not disappoint, very tender burger. Ordered the fish tacos, which were fresh red fish (seasonal) grilled. Finally, the fancy chicken Sammy. The chicken was grilled, juicy and flavorful and had fresh avocado on it. Overall, everything was fantastic and I would recommend the food to anyone.
First time visit and it was great. Bartender Rob took care of us while our friends had their dog groomed at the Salty Dog. Drinks and champagne were very good. Very nice place, big patio out back and super clean restrooms. We will be back!
This place feels Right. Located across the Galveston Seawall the front patio feels like that's your spot. But once you walk in it's a whole New World. Manager Chris and the Lucky Lounge Crew of Awesome Bartenders (too many to mention) who make you feel you're one of the crew. And let's not forget the Back patio... Highly recommend you stop by on your visit to Galveston. Tell em Jasmine sent you 🤭
Waterfront party spot with swim-up bar, plus DJs, live music & events such as karaoke.
I came in during the day with a group of 8 that included an infant. I approached the bartender and let him know about my party. He told me that we "could just share some tables or something and that they don't high chairs " I wasn't surprised about the high chair given the kind of place it is, but I was surprised at his "figure it out yourself"attitude. However, there was an older man seated at the bar with friends. He politely informed the bartender that he could get a tall high chair from another place, and return it after. He then instructed some employees to join two tables together and move seats accordingly. He completely changed the outcome of our whole experience by just making a couple simple gestures that showed he cared that we enjoyed our day. This meant a lot to us as these were visitors from out of town and their first time experiencing something like the Float Bar and it's amazing setup and views. Thank you to that man. I'll be back with my grown up friends and try out that pool.
This place was so fun! Swim up bar over looking the beach. Great drinks, surprisingly good food (for both price and for being bar food) and the service was great. Total vibe was fun, beach-y and refreshing! 10/10, no notes. Pro Tip: Prickly Pear Margarita was my favorite - sweet, tart and well mixed!
Beachfront spot offering lots of beers, pina coladas & sports on TV in vibrant digs with gulf views.
We had one night in Galveston and stayed at the holiday inn express. Right next door is a place called The Spot which has various restaurants inside. We went to the Tiki Bar and had a wonderful experience! Our server was fantastic! Dimitris was attentive, funny, intelligent and overall a delight. He made the experience that much better. Food and drinks were also really really good. I highly recommend visiting!
Love the atmosphere. Great place for strong drinks and atmosphere. Between the cars and the people it’s hard to carry a conversation bc it’s so loud. Here’s what we ordered: The Limoncello- way to strong for my taste. Much better when I combined it with water. Hot honey Calamari-there was more breading than actually meat. The sauce was really spicy but very yummy. Mozzarella sticks- Way too much cheese for me. Each stick was the size of a mini cucumber. Spinach artichoke dip- very good just wish it would have been more hot. It got cold really fast.
Chill spot for American grub including burgers & wings with open-air deck seating & Gulf views.
Loved everything about The Spot! Stopped in while visiting Galveston and it did not disappoint. The atmosphere was fun and lively with awesome beach views. The food was delicious everything came out fresh and flavorful! Ordered baja tacos and jumbo fish platter! The staff was friendly and the service was quick, even though they were busy. Perfect place to relax, eat, and enjoy the island vibe from the roof top area! Definitely coming back next time I’m in Galveston!
This was one of the best meals that I've had down here in Galveston. I love the unique vibe of this restaurant on the open rooftop patio. I got the Citrus snapper and I have to say that the key lime butter sauce was stunning and really made that dish. It was so good that I forgot to take a picture of it until I was halfway through.
Open-air terrace under a thatched roof offering tropical cocktails, casual fare & beach views.
This was one of the few places open on a Saturday night until 11 pm that had a big menu with lots of variety. There are 4 differently themed bars but all the food comes out of a singular kitchen, all the menus are the same. Very well decorated and outdoors. They have plenty of heaters on and the patios were covered.. Probably a cool spot in the summer when it's bright and the ocean is visible. Speaking of which, The ocean water cocktail was very sweet but that's how I prefer it. It didn't taste like alcohol but it sure made an impact on my sobriety very quickly. My wife enjoyed her rum punch, but compared to how the ocean water tasted, the Alcohol was very prevalent. We got mozzarella sticks and they were MASSIVE. Nice and crunchy, great red dipping sauce, albeit slightly thin (watery) but good flavor. I got the Ralph burger, and GET THE BACON JAM. that stuff is delicious. The burger was huge, stacked with fried onion strips, and the waffle fries were perfectly seasoned and crispy. My wife got the grilled veggies with onion rings, the veggies hit the spot. She felt the onion rings were slightly undercooked, but I thought they were OK. Definitely could have been in the oil an extra 20 seconds. My wife got a mai Thai as her second drink and she was out for the count after that. I didn't see dessert on their menu but I I think one of the rooms had an ice cream shop in it. Will definelty come back here if we cruise out of Galveston again!
We appropriately ordered rum punches here to get the night started. While enjoying the live band playing, we got the spot sampler which had a good variety of appetizers. The ambiance was generally breezy, fun and lively. Although normally free to enter, you may be required to pay a cover on popular nights.
Down-to-earth watering hole with flat-screen TVs airing sports, plus pool & a golf arcade game.
Not from Galveston but as an outsider I was able to go in and sit down and not have everyone looking at me as if I was a tourist. This is hard to find. Play treat me like I was an everyday Joe and gave me service just the same in which I like. So if you're looking for somewhere to go and just have a drink r2 or meet up with friends without all the malarkey this is your place.
A great bar to “dive” into on the Strand. Pool table, shots and ice cold beer. Music and service always good!
My wife and I stayed at the Holiday Inn resort and this bar is inside the building. They had live music on Friday so my wife and I went down to check it out. The band was a lot of fun and my wife and I had a blast. They also order from the restaurant in the building. We had some beer and a couple cocktails, then got a pretzel which ended up being awesome. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.
Been coming here for years. Always our go to for good bands and drinks. Food is good too. We love watching The Line Up perform on Thursdays. Wish their breaks were shorter but we always enjoy their music. Juan is our favorite server. If he’s still around you’ll be in great hands. Drinks are good too.
Lively karaoke lounge with 125,000+ song selections, stage shows & full bar plus late hours.
Great atmosphere awesome DJ and the drinks were perfect. Can't ask for anything more from a karaoke bar. I make sure I come here every time I'm in town.
This karaoke bar is a hidden gem! The cozy and inviting atmosphere makes it perfect for a fun night out. Matt’s cocktails are top-notch; my ranch water was exceptional! I even had the pleasure of chatting with the owner, who was incredibly friendly. If you're looking to create lasting memories with friends while visiting the island, this is definitely the place to be. Highly recommend!
Dazyle and the staff were amazing. Food was tasty. Drinks were great. I had the strawberry Gin Fizz. The views were also fantastic.
Went to watch the Chiefs game while we were in town. Great service, Keely was the best and we were quite rowdy. We’d tried the Spot before and didn’t have a great experience but came back to give it another try and it was absolutely amazing. Great for drinks, bar food, and games.
Country-music venue featuring live bands & line dancing, plus house shots & cocktails.
We have come in on several occasions with lots of people and always had a great experience. This weekend was our anniversary, we went in to the Karaoke bar and could not get service without us having to look for someone or get someone's attention. the service was not on point as it usually is :(
We came for a bachelorette party and we had the best time! The group of 13 loved it so much that we ended up going back a second night to lone dance and have a good time. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend our time.
Modern sports-pub chain boasting recliners plus high-concept bar food & a huge selection of beer.
Helaina was a fun and friendly server who made us feel welcome. She took the time to explain different local draft beers so we could make an appropriate selection. She accommodated our request for watching Golf as well. Indoor/outdoor seating and dog friendly. Great views of the Seawall and the beach.
I had such a great experience here! The food was delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a meal. My server DYLAN was absolutely wonderful—friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this place to friends and family!
Can’t speak about the food, but the bar is beautiful and the espresso martini is delicious! We sat in the downstairs area in the hotel lobby, it’s very peaceful and great for one on one conversation. We tried many drinks, they all had just the right amount of liquor but still enough for it to feel like a drink. I can’t remember the last time I had a cocktail and didn’t wince at the strength until I got a drink here
Great vibes and atmosphere. Garret is an amazing bartender/server with good recommendations. Burgers were a bit dry but crab cake and the charcuterie board was amazing!
A youthful crowd parties at this high-energy club with DJs, dancing & regular drink specials.
They had reasonable drink prices. The DJ Inside was bussin , he played all the new hits. I ordered a pizza however you had to go outside the establishment to order the pizza which is totally fine, there’s a DJ outside too. I love the pizza, . Great experience what a wonderful place to be. Definitely a younger crowd, but it was worth the time of being in Galveston thanks ENVY.
Had a great time. Lots of friendly people! Potentially NOT an 18+ club but says they are. Great drinks great dancing and music. Overall would go again.
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Perfect Beach Vibes at Longboard – A Must-Visit in Galveston! We stopped by Longboard in Galveston and absolutely loved the experience! The laid-back surf shack atmosphere with an unbeatable ocean view made it the perfect place to unwind. The fried pickles were insanely good—crispy, tangy, and packed with flavor—and the beer was ice-cold, just what you want on a sunny day by the beach. Friendly staff, fun decor, and the kind of place that makes you feel like you're on vacation, even if you're just passing through. Can’t wait to come back for more food, drinks, and beachside relaxation. Highly recommend!
Our server Alexandrea was excellent. Great vibe, across the street from the beach. Cool place.
bad vibes all around. girl recruited us from another bar and told us she owned it. we wanted to support women owned business so we followed (group of women out for bachelorette party) and there was no one in the bar. the employees would not leave us alone, even followed us into the bathroom and offered us substances :/. we tried to leave and the girl followed us out to our car saying that she couldn’t leave us. then she hopped on the hood of a car passing by and then disappeared (thank god) everyone got the vibe that something really bad would have happened to us if we had stayed. Turns out the girl does not even own it:/ ruined the rest of our night and made us feel unsafe. whack.
Feel profiled the tweaked out door women told us it would be $40 per person to get in… And other people were just walking in. Either way this place had such a sketch vibe i wouldn't trust it.
