I had the Old Fashioned, Nitro Cold Brew Martini and Gin & Tonic (the latter two are cocktails on draft). They were pretty good, though I noted that the Old Fashioned was served with ice cubes (as opposed to an ice block) and the Nitro Cold Brew had notes of Chinese herbs (which was interesting, but not exactly to my liking). During happy hour (4 - 7 pm), the Old Fashioned and cocktails on draft go at $6 each, which is a steal. Note that this doesn't apply to the barrel aged cocktails. The retro setting and wooden interior created a nice ambience.

Saad Ahmed52 months ago

What a gem! They have a lot of great whiskeys. The cocktails are expertly crafted by friendly, knowledgeable staff. I’ve never had a Gin and Tonic as good as what they serve. Best of all, it’s on draft for $6 for happy hour! I love the elegant, yet relaxed vibe and it’s in a great spot if you’re exploring downtown.

This was our first trip here! The buffalo wings with fries was superb!! Also lemon drops to top it all off was perfection. Our server was Yvette she was very helpful with showing us what were the hits on the menu! She was very polite and helpful the whole time, Thanks to her we will visit again in the future!

I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich with a side of fries. The sandwich had some flavor but nothing to make me say wow. I can definitely see myself going there to drink beer and watching a game with friends. I would recommend for you to go check it out they have plenty of room inside and plenty of seating outside.

Lost & Found 4.8 (16,085)

Relaxed restaurant offering cocktails, brunch & mains, plus patio dining with views of downtown.

Our bartender did not show us the receipt and said it was $100 for us to tap. This 100 dollars apparently already includes the 20% service for brunch and we didn’t know since there was no receipt was shown! I still paid 15% tip so eventually it was 30 dollars on 75 dollars food. Great deal! Even the food was great, this is robbery 🙂 Btw, we LOST our chance to try that looking-so-good cajun pasta and we FOUND such a famous restaurant is lacking of management to allow things like this happen.

Claudius Rhoden53 weeks ago

Lost & Found delivered a solid meal. Trez made the experience great. The food came out hot and well-seasoned, with the lemon pepper chicken standing out as a favorite. Upgrading to the mac and cheese was the right call—creamy, flavorful, and worth it. And with 50-cent wings on the menu, it was impossible to pass them up. A great mix of good flavors, value, and atmosphere that makes it a spot I’d definitely come back to.

Axelrad Beer Garden 4.7 (6,475)

1517 Alabama St, Houston, TX 77004, USA

Craft beers galore offered in a laid-back outdoor setup with hammocks, food trucks & regular events.

Recent Reviews:

Mike Sacks53 months ago

“Laid-back, vibrant, and unforgettable.” Axelrad Beer Garden is one of those rare Houston gems that hits the mark for everyone. It's geared towards a young crowd, sure, but don’t let that fool you. I took my 76-year-old father and a close family friend in their 60s, and they had just as much fun as I (30s) did. We went on a jazz night paired with steak, and between the live band and the sizzling grill, the atmosphere was absolutely electric. The space itself is massive and welcoming, with tons of picnic tables, cozy chairs, and colorful hammocks scattered across a huge neon-lit courtyard. The vibe is casual, creative, and inclusive, with the kind of energy that feels like a backyard party thrown by artists, musicians, and beer lovers all at once. There’s an easy pass-through into Luigi’s next door (some of the best pizza in the city), and the drink menu at Axelrad is top notch, with tons of craft beers on tap, creative cocktails, and solid happy hour deals that make it easy to settle in and stay awhile. It’s also super pet friendly, which I loved. Beautiful, well-behaved dogs lounging near their owners gave the whole place a calm, social rhythm, even when the crowd was buzzing. What surprised me most was how well it all came together for multiple generations. While it's clearly designed with a younger demographic in mind with the artsy decor, funky lighting, Instagram-worthy everything, there’s live music, good food, great service, and a safe, relaxed energy that made my dad and his friend feel totally comfortable. Bottom line is whether you’re here for date night, a group hang, live music, a pizza run, or just a cold drink with your dog under the stars, Axelrad delivers. It’s become a personal favorite, and it’s now one of the first spots I recommend to anyone looking for the real heart of Houston culture, which is usually chill, vibrant, with just the right amount of weird. Excellent job! 👍

Two Headed Dog is a fantastic cocktail bar with a vibrant, divey charm that’s hard to beat. The atmosphere is lively and unique, with cool decor (the bathroom walls are a must-see!) and a great patio for chilling. The bartenders are top-notch—super friendly and skilled at mixing up creative, high-quality drinks at wallet-friendly prices. The seasonal cocktail menu is a standout, and the local beer selection is solid too. That said, they don’t serve food, so come prepared to grab a bite elsewhere or from nearby food vendors. Parking is pretty much nonexistent, so plan to walk, bike, or use a rideshare. These quirks keep it from a perfect five stars, but they don’t overshadow the great experience. Two Headed Dog is an awesome spot for drinks and good times in Houston—definitely worth a visit!

Such an unique charm in the heart of mid town. Even though their cocktail menu is limited, I can tell that they invested a lot efforts in creating those. My most favorite is the Ruby Cobbler. I love the aroma & taste of ruby cherry. I was extremely impressed by how they welcome you with a hot towel to wipe your hands. They also kindly offered some candies when bringing out the check. So dedicated and lovely!

Classy, intimate vibes at this cocktail lounge! Upon entering, you were seated with a glass of water and warm towel to clean your hands. I inquired about the happy hour, which they no longer have, but my server was kind enough to still honor the deal since they silently discontinued the deal without announcing it on social media. We got the Rolls-Royce martini and best seller classic cocktail evergreen (original price $16 each, but we got them for $8 each)! Both tasted clean and strong. Definitely recommend this place for a date night or girls night!

This place is the real deal. Fresh juices, carefully curated decor and attentive staff. Everything is on theme and even the virgin drinks are phenomenal. Get your tiki on and get down to Lei Low, but come early - the location is very popular but rather small, and they obey the fire marshall's strict limit on occupancy; you will wait outside in the Houston heat, and parking can be a pain.

It was our first time, but definitely not our last. Their tequila old fashioned? Pure magic. These tequila lovers were 😍—bold, smooth, and dangerously good. Highly recommend if you’re craving good energy, sultry ambiance, and a damn good cocktail.✨🍸🦪

My drink of choice is whiskey on the rocks with a splash of water. This establishment offers a full variety of whiskey and other liquor. It was a true delight to read through their full whiskey menu. I am knowledgeable about whiskey and bourbon. The bartender (wish I caught his name) was also knowledgeable about whiskey, thus we enjoyed a full exchange of our knowledge and experiences. Service was impeccable. The bartender truly made us feel like his only customers. In addition, the bartender was thoughtful. He mentioned a 24 hour restaurant within walking distance when we left at closing time. We were not able to enjoy Permissions food menu. The atmosphere was upscale without a snooty vibe. Music was upbeat yet not too loud. We could easily converse. The bathroom was clean. The upscale vibe was even reflected in the bathroom! Highly recommend this establishment. Excited to return. “Umm, umm, umm….umm, umm I love this bar!” The late great Toby Keith said exactly what I was thinking when I first visited Shady Acres Saloon! Camille was my bartender and was very nice. She took great care to make sure my ice cold Coors banquet was ready for me! They had live music in the evening. No cover charge! The band took the stage just as the temperatures dropped at little, the evening breeze picked up, and the sun started heading below the horizon. If you would have asked me 2 years ago, I would have rated this place 5 stars. This place used to have Amazing food, amazing atmosphere and it was a place where I hosted a birthday and even watched the final game of 2022 World Series win. Now, this place does not meet any of those standards. The drinks are still good, but besides that, it is a disappointment. Their lemon pepper Parmesan wings were the best wings I ever had. Why they’re still gone, I don’t know. Now they served food with what they call beef fajita but resembles nothing close?? I came today to give this place a try and mostly from missing the nostalgia that I used to have, but it fell short on so many levels. If you are looking to have a good drink by all means come but it used to be so much more. We got our old faithful “quesadilla” and my wife and I realized right away that now that has changed too. All love to the people, the drinks and the vibes, we just really, really miss the food.

Great drinks and great service. This bar offers some of the best cocktails in the city. All their bartenders are true professionals and even with it getting very busy do provide great service. The only downside about this place it is kind of small especially with how busy this place can get. You might have to stand to enjoy your drink but you will still have a great time.

Trust me on this one-no notes needed. , The drinks are of the highest level, and the service is seriously top-tier. Massive shoutout to Mabel, Corey, and Manny the man🧍‍♂️ and the whole team. Neil's always has been and always will be a nerd staple. I've been going since they first opened the old location, and it has always been one of the few "go to" bars for me. The new building is much cleaner and longer/roomier, but it DID lose some of the "homey" feeling that the old location had. Another thing is that it's literally right next to active train tracks. So be prepared for trains to go by from time to time. Also, unlike the old location, it's not within walking distance to any other cool bars or restaurants. But there IS a really good food truck in the parking lot most of the time, so that helps. Parking overall is better than at the old location. It still fills up if you get there too late, but it's not as bad as before.

This place was great across the board. I mean this bar is unique in that. The second you step into it. It feels like you got invited to your friend's basement party where everyone is cool with each other. If you grew up in the 80's or 90's in the States you will get a feel of nostalgia and if you aren't American it looks like a set from a movie in that era. The bartenders are approachable and helpful. The entire atmosphere feels chill and friendly. If I'm ever in EADO I will def pass through there.

First Time Trying Twin Peaks And I’ve Been Back Twice Again. The Loaded Fries ($10) And Salmon Caesar Salad ($15) Have Been My Go To. I Would Say I Don’t Appreciate Always Being Seated In The Back. Not Sure If Its Being A Woman Or Black Thats Causing This But I Don’t Like It. Other Than That The Food Is Great. The Customer Service Is Hit Or Miss. I’ve Had A Great Server And I’ve Also Had A Below Average Server So It Just Depends I Guess. Definitely Willing To Come Back.

We are in process of moving to Houston so once I saw this bar I KNEW I had to check it out. Drinks = superb, perfectly balanced, very tasty Food = this is so much better than typical bar food. The guac tasted fresh and the chicken quesadilla was really REALLY good Service = above and beyond. Super friendly, made us feel like we had been coming in forever! Now the best part, like an idiot, I left my purse hanging from my chair when we left. I didn’t realize it for a couple hours. When I called to see if it was there, they had rescued it and put it a locker until I came back. Everyone was so nice about it. Saved me a full on panic attack. 100% this will be our favorite place once we get moved to Houston!

I loved this place. It's a speak easy so you wouldn't accidentally find this place which is cool to me and the atmosphere was excellent. Bartender was friendly and skilled. They have some pricey cocktails that I'll have to try next time that I'm sure are worth it but I tried the Rube Goldberg device and it was delicious. Beer selection isn't vast but it's good. I think they tried to have a good beer of each style maybe.

9/27/2025 with 7:30 reservation Firstly, you're greeted with an offering of free champagne so that was a nice touch! There is a dress code so everyone is dressed to impress. Music was at a nice volume so we could still conversate without yelling. Our waitress did ask for Allergies & made sure to advise the cooks accordingly. The drinks were strong & well worth the bucks spent. Food came out hot & fresh. Very flavorful & would def get it again! Even when it was time to go, our waitress boxed up our leftovers which was unexpected. If you're looking for a nice out, either with the plus one or a girls night like we did, we recommend this spot! Parking is hard to find since it's in downtown. Recommend to Uber or Lyft there or prepare to walk a few blocks for free parking.

This was a 10 out of 10 experience. I visited Bungalow downtown Houston with two of my girlfriends for brunch. We were visiting Houston on a girls trip visiting from Charlotte, NC and Virginia. Initially, I’d seen a lot on social media about Bungalow and wanted to try it out for myself to see what the hype was about. I can truly say that from start to finish, the entire experience was phenomenal. The food was excellent!!!! We ordered the whole fried red snapper, the seafood dip, the lobster grilled cheese, the chicken wings, and the stuffed French toast. The fried red snapper is one of the best I have ever had in my entire life. I can honestly say that every single item we tasted was spectacular. Additionally, the aesthetic and overall vibe of the restaurant was superb. It is a beautiful establishment and the service was equally impressive. The alcoholic beverages were also very good, and strong! It has been a very long time since I have gone to a restaurant that possessed all three characteristics: great aesthetic/vibe, excellent food, and excellent service. We enjoyed Bungalow so much that we planned to go back a second time before the end of our trip, but unfortunately did not have a chance to go back. I will definitely be adding Bungalow to my list of staple restaurants that I must eat whenever I am in Houston again. It was a pleasure to support this black owned business. Thank you for providing such a wonderful dining experience.

Decided to come for some happy hour eats and drinks. The atmosphere is so wonderful, the drinks are incomparable, and the food is delightful! Their ketchup and ranch are SO good, sounds crazy just for condiments but they’re truly worth trying out. The cocktails are so unique but work perfectly. 10/10 recommend!

Really great ambiance and spot - their patio is super nice and they have fires going outside when it's cold out. Excellent & expansive cocktail list! Some in my friend group don't drink so we really appreciated their unique mocktail options. The small bites were really tasty. It was a bit slow ordering and getting our drinks at the bar, but that's pretty typical for a Saturday night in this area. Parking is a bit difficult once the lot is full but street parking is available nearby. Clean bathrooms! Nice decor and friendly service. We would definitely go back and 10/10 recommend!

As much as I’d love to support a dive bar, this place has gotten used to bad attitudes. They justify being assholes with “being busy”, but being kind to customers goes a long way. You can be a customer and be understanding of a busy place, but when met with a “idgaf” mindset, it gives you less grace. Find a different vibe somewhere else because this place will not make you feel comfortable and welcome.

The girls and I went on a Thursday for their happy hour- we each started with 1 drink and before we were halfway done we could feel it. They did not skip on the liquor! There were not a lot of people before 9pm so you could sit wherever. The food was good and hot. They have parking outside- street (pay the meter) or valet. The music was a good mix and fit the vibe of the lounge. I want to come back and try their other weekly specials!

To whom it may concern, I never really frequent this establishment but when I do I usually have a great time but last night was one of the only exceptions. My partner, friend, and I were having a conversation not even directly in front of a water cooler and the bartender (upstairs, tall in height, Caucasian w/ brown hair with some tattoos) decided to take it upon herself to rudely not once BUT TWICE without a single excuse me. This wouldn’t have been an issue but I noticed through out the night, the same exact bartender would tap patrons who weren’t POC on the shoulder and saying excuse me to them. We were having a conversation but had to deal with YOUR bartenders microagression and I’m truly offended and disappointed by the people that are allowed to work at this establishment. Will not be coming back 0/10. If I could leave -10 stars I truly would.

Rea and Taylor (not Swift) are exceptional bartenders at Twin Peaks Kirby! They are very efficient, effectively manage a busy crowd, and create a super-fun atmosphere. As a regular patron, I look forward to seeing them on every visit. Regarding the food, I always order the New York Strip steak. While the cuts don't rival the prime steakhouses, when all things are considered, I believe Twin Peaks has the best steaks around.

Cute country/western/latino dance hall. Apparently the Friday crowd doesn’t start actually coming until after 10pm. Not meant for early birds if you want to dance with a crowd! lol. Also it’s basically a bunch of salsa music on Fridays, as advertised. Otherwise, the karaoke on Friday nights is fun. It’s a small area within Neon Boots and intimate but can be a whole lot of fun. Drink prices seemed pretty normal. Parking is good. Overall, nice experience but could have used more country music.

Great dancehall with lots to do! Went for a birthday, had reserved tables, and had a lot of fun. Drinks were reasonably priced and stout. They have events throughout the week offering line dancing classes, Latin nights, and even a separate room for karaoke. Everyone was very friendly and plenty of parking available.

🔥 Parceros Night Club is pure salsa fire! From the moment you walk in, the vibe is electric—the music, the lights, the energy—it’s all on point. The sound system is crisp and powerful, and when it comes to salsa, these folks know their music. Every beat hits just right. 💃 The lit-up dance floor is a whole mood, and the aesthetic of the space adds to the magic. Whether it’s a regular night or a live concert with known artist, be ready to dance—this club doesn’t let you sit still. 🍹 The service? Impeccable. Shoutout to the amazing waitresses and especially Jaihson, who makes sure your drinks are flowing and your night is smooth. This place isn’t just a club—it’s a full-on Latin experience. If you’re looking for a spot in Houston where salsa lives and breathes, Parceros is one of the places to be.

It turned out to be a really good bar, a really good nightclub, great music, super entertaining, and best of all, a great bike. Oh, when we arrived, there was a really long line, we had to wait a long time to get in. On the weekend, you have to pay $10 per person to get in. Parking is super difficult for the park owners. But other than that, it's nice, you have a good time and you have fun. The level of partying is very good, it's excellent. I recommend going there and checking it out.

Didn’t know what to expect when I arrived but I really didn’t mean to enter a gothic pop concert as I’ve never listened to that kind of music. My friend and I stuck out like sore thumbs since we were the only two not dressed in full black. HOWEVER, the vibes were electric! We had a great time. Everyone there was super respectful of each others space and people were just vibing being themselves. I don’t think I’ll be going back but if this is your vibe, I could understand why you would!

Hands down one of my favorite bars in Houston! Dirt Bar has such a cool, laid-back vibe—dark, grungy, and full of character. The music was on point, the drinks were strong and affordable, and the bartenders were super chill and welcoming. It’s the kind of place where you can let loose, have real conversations, and just enjoy the night. Bonus points for being right across from House of Blues perfect for pre- or post-concert hangs. Definitely coming back!

Great experience here. We were nervous about the recent reviews stating a super strict dress code. We were dressed business casual but they were not rude or strict about a dress code. We were there for “Social Hour” and got a great deal on excellent cocktails. Be aware they do charge a venue fee and 20% gratuity. Do not let that stop you, it is an excellent and fun cocktail bar. Lauren was our server and she was amazing!!

We had a fantastic time at Clarkwood on a Saturday night. Parking is street only, it can get very crowded and hard to find any parking. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was buzzing with a great mix of music and conversation, but it was tiny bit loud. It was really hard to hold a conversation with ppl next to you at times but overall it was fine . All the servers were very attentive regarding the service. They kept making sure our drinks were good without being intrusive. They do offer a little bit of food but this place is more perfect for cocktails. We'll definitely be back

I got my drink spiked here a few nights ago bc I came from 24 hour fitness after working out with a friend and order one drink and on my way home I began feeling groggy. Got hone, passed out and I lost an entire day of my life! woke up yesterday at 4 pm and still felt off. Had to go to the hospital to get checked! they said whatever I was given was already out if my system but I still feel wrong today so I had to skip work and school. they also hate the clientele that goes to the bars on 20th street like they clientele here are the left over residents who haven’t being gentrified from the neighborhood and resent the new residents even though It has made the neighborhood better from what it was before. Some of them are openly confrontational to anyone that enters this establishment and it is not part of their neighborhood. Should out a sign at the front that reads “blue collar working class only”. Can’t figure out who spiked my drink! maybe they meant to rob us! I wouldn’t put it beneath them. Stay away from this place if you are new to the neighborhood! they clearly don’t like us here. First and last! can’t plus they allow vaping inside the bar which makes eating even worse bc all you can smell is vaping fluid all around you. Hope TAbC nails them for that.

Oh And how can I forget I have to pay to go in to listen to this DJ trash no no no sir.

Beautiful small place, friendly and accommodating manager. Bartenders though…they know the basics of cocktail making I guess? I was first served a long iced tea but it was more coke than anything. So I asked for it to be changed to a blended piña colada. It was watery and lacked the taste of coconut. Great staff overall though, they made up for it when they gave us complimentary shots!!! We sat at the bar and had great service even though they were very busy. I believe his name was Jay and he was excellent. We had the meat pizza which was awesome if you like a lot of toppings on your pizza. They definitely give you your moneys worth. We had the firecracker shrimp with the rice cake. The shrimp was fresh and you can tell never frozen. The sauce was legit and it all went together well and Would definitely order them again. The truffle fries were amazing , with just the right amount of seasoning, hot and fresh also . The bread pudding was a fantastic way to end the party!we ordered with a scoop of ice cream and it didn’t disappoint. The sauce , with the ice cream and pudding was eye rolling ! I can’t say enough good about the full experience … bravo!! This was a great find and we will be back in a few to try the steaks next.

Visited on July 4th after lunchtime. It’s a nice place to grab some classic American food. The pork burger was excellent. While it had great pork flavor with the pork patty and bacon, it was balanced out with the arugula and blueberry ketchup. The tacos were solid but the rice and beans were flavorless. The interior looked new but the booths looked like they wasn’t cleaned frequently. Service started off great but got slower after the food had arrived. We ended up having to go ask for a to go box.

Great atmosphere and service. Bought from the food truck and the Frita Loaded Fries were a little pricey but really good. Also they had an outside vendor walking around selling tamales and they were great. We got the pork tamales and asked if they had any jalapeno and cream cheese and he made a phone call. 10 minutes later we had the jalapeno tamales to go with the pork. Great experience. We were lucky enough to have happened upon the pug playdate in the small dog park area. It made it all the more fun.

First time going last night and it was an awesome experience! Husband and I saw Ocean Valley and the vibes were great. Cozy atmosphere and it didn’t feel like we were on top of people. The only cons I have are the food and bathrooms. The bathrooms downstairs were nice but upstairs the toilets were pretty gross. The food wasn’t great either. For the price I didn’t expect something that seemed like microwaved frozen food. Didn’t hinder my experience though! 🤍 They should also look into making the area more wheelchair accessible. Inside there was a ramp on the side closer to the entrance but not on the opposite side where the elevator is. Just steps/stairs. It didn’t affect me directly but I noticed how it affected others.

Saw Freddie Gibbs, MAVI, and Jalen Ngonda 9/27/25 7pm. Show was supposed to start at 7, so why was the line snaked outside the building at 7:30? I'm uncertain if the doors were opened earlier for access. If not and feasible, that should be considered. Ordered brisket sliders, fries, and 2 liquid death waters for $30.32. The food was good and prepared very quickly. Our seats were on the top right. Show was okay. Noticed multiple individuals smoking vapes and marijuana. Staff should be more present in the aisles. Additionally, letters and numbers on seats should be more visible.

I went on the 4th and really enjoyed the music and atmosphere. The drinks were decent, but I was disappointed to be charged $3 more than the listed menu price for my drink. When I asked about it, I was told it was due to tax. However, in Harris County, sales tax is 8.25%, which wouldn’t raise a $12 drink to $15. If the menu had listed the drink at $15, that would be one thing—but I don’t appreciate being overcharged without explanation.

There are a lot of reasons why this historically and currently is a 5 star bar. As a dive bar, this is one of the best you will go to. Say whatever you want about the service, but I always find it straightforward and honest. Our first experience here was not the best. We arrived early, a bartender and a manager were present, and none of them said hi or anything at all. We ordered some drinks and shots(Mexican candies and green teas) they were bad. They don't even use Jameson for green teas. For a slow day, Scarlett, the bartender seemed really bored or annoyed. Her talk to the few customers was how they are the busiest bar in town and how they do things differently in "The Heights." her attitude itself was rude and obnoxious. It's a shame because the place is nice. They just need to be more friendly and better their customer service. People say parking is limited but since we arrived early we didn't have any problem with it. They don't have a kitchen, but I saw a food truck outside. Honestly, I don't recommend this place. If you are looking for better, friendlier service, bigger bar, just drive down on I-10, and you will find Kirby Ice House. Bigger, busier and nicer place with nice servers.

Atmosphere is awesome. Leaving 2 stars because the service is horrible lol I was never expecting top tier service but I was surprised at how irritable the workers were. When I visited bartenders were rude and moody with several customers, myself included. It’s weird that they take that approach when interacting with customers since they are in the service industry where tips matter. (Speaking as someone w bartending experience) anyway great to hang out and all that but yea they just need better service cus it’s bottom of the barrel service.

I used to love this bar. They put wine in actual glasses and there is a great outdoor patio. I used to go all the time until 2003 when after 2 glasses I was entrapped by a two faced cop and got a guilty sentence from a jury for a DWI. Parking is tricky so it's best to uber. Love the place.

So it was hard finding a good place to eat with my family while on a road trip relocation. Found this place and they allow pets both cats and dogs on the outside patio. It was nice and quiet and we had a wonderful attentive server. She was so nice and very helpful and even helped take a picture for our family. She was one of the best servers I've ever had. The ambience was fantastic and the food was delicious. I really couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Stopped by for some drinks and small bites before a show, and I’m so glad we did! Tuyet greeted us with the biggest smile and made us feel welcome right away. She quickly brought us waters while we looked over the menu and was incredibly friendly—like we’d known her forever. The service was fast, the drinks were well-made, and the food was perfect for a pre-show snack. Great atmosphere and even better hospitality.

I stumbled upon Soho Garden and it instantly felt like a secret escape tucked away in the city. This place is an absolute dream for anyone who appreciates floral aesthetics, cozy garden vibes, and a relaxed outdoor setting. From the romantic floral archway and photo-ready rose walls to the charming greenhouse-style bar—every corner is designed to impress. The ambiance is soft, elegant, and refreshingly different. It’s like a botanical fairy tale met upscale patio lounge. I ordered a few drinks and they did not disappoint! The berry cocktail was flavorful and refreshing with the perfect citrus rim, and the pink shots were just as cute as they were smooth. The presentation alone is Instagram-worthy, but the taste sealed the deal. Whether you’re coming for a girls’ brunch, a date, or a solo moment of peace, Soho Garden gives you a vibe and a visual that’s hard to forget. Great atmosphere, live DJ with great vibes but minimal choices on the menu, I ordered lemon peppered wings, they were pretty good not listed on menu, didn't have drinks. The seating area inside is limited unless you reserve a booth space in which we sat at but was asked to leave early bc it was supposedly reserved. Plenty of seating outside but mosquitos were bad and it was quite muggy. Nice outdoor spot for pictures. Visited Highline Park over the weekend and had a pretty good experience overall. I ordered the Berry Berry Sober, a non-alcoholic drink that surprisingly tasted like it had alcohol—really refreshing. The Park Wings (lemon pepper) were a standout—crispy and well-seasoned with just the right kick. However, the Highline Burger was a bit of a letdown; it leaned too much on the salty side and overpowered the other flavors. The atmosphere was great though—lively and perfect for a weekend hangout with friends.

This has been one of my favorite places to enjoy dinner with my kids and to catch up with friends over a glass of wine — but unfortunately, after our recent experience, we won’t be returning. I tried to order a glass of wine, but the waitress seemed distracted and didn’t hear me. My son tried to help by repeating the order loudly, and her response was to say “Damn” — with an attitude that was completely uncalled for. From that point on, she was cold and dismissive. Every time I said “thank you,” she ignored me. No eye contact. No kindness. Just a bad vibe throughout the entire meal. Despite the poor service, I still left a generous tip — not for her, but because that’s the kind of guest I choose to be. It’s disappointing that a place we’ve loved for so long could make us feel so unwelcome. We won’t be coming back, and I’ll sadly have to find a new favorite spot.

We went for drinks and watched a game. Great staff who were really friendly and helpful. We didn't try the food because they had been busy over the weekend and were out of alot of things. We found it very strange there were no prices on the menu for drinks. It usually puts us off going in but we hadn't noticed until sat down and ordering. We did ask for prices but they didn't have any menus with prices. When paying it turned out drinks were reasonable at around $8/9 a pint.

Drove a distance to get there. Seemed festive. First thing I noticed was that security was fully armed Houston police force. Definitely wasn't staying until closing. Since I drove for over 35min, I thought I would check out the inside & maybe buy a drink before driving back. Before the door man was going to pat me down & wand me he asked me to lift my shirt for weapons in the waist band. Then told me my dry fit cargo pants were the wrong material for entry. Texas is humid. Style was fine but not enough denim or polyester. If I asked for management may have been allowed. I'm over 50 year, and putting out tourist energy not violence. Maybe the doorman was inadvertently letting me know this place is too dangerous for you. I had no other problems with entry into dancing venues where the threat of ill behavior was so expected that fully armed Houston police force was stationed through out the club.

Just wondering when it became okay for employees to record clientele. My friends and I regularly come here. Last Friday my friend had an incident in the restroom where we had to be escorted out which is no problem. The problem was in which the employees went about it. We didn’t resist to them escorting us out because it was understandable. But the problem was the employees were LAUGHING and POINTING at us before we left the building. It wasn’t until we were in the parking lot they decided to really antagonize us (the woman who escorted us was recording us with her coworkers ).We tried asking for their names and they were yelling saying they didn’t need to tell us ANTAGONIZING us even the security guard by the name temple was VERY RESPECTFUL and even told his other security guard that was trying to calm my friend and I down. Told him to fall back because those DISRESPECTFUL and UNPROFESSIONAL employees were ANTAGONIZING us. Those women need to be fired or corrected in how to go about escorting people with respect. Tried calling to talk to the manager and to no ones surprise they didn’t answer. Would love to have a refund if possible because my friends and I very unhappy with our unpleasant night out.

The service was great. The DJ played hit after hit. My only issue is we showed up at 10pm. The older lady at the door, who was also rude, and the security said the place was not open yet. We checked back 30 minutes later, and they said it will not open until 11pm. They should change their times online if they’re not prepared to open at 10 pm. My group along with other groups were standing outside of the doors, in heels. Will not be back.

Came here and got a section to celebrate my birthday. I was working with one section girl with my section beforehand. She asked me to send a photo for a club flyer, that I would have a birthday cake, and promised me a section near the middle of the club. The day before my reservation, she let me know she wasn't going to be at that club that night and that another girl would take over instead. When I got there, I was placed in a completely different section than my original girl promised me. The section I was sat in was around the corner from the dance floor, tucked away and hidden -- meaning, we could not see the dance floor. Really, all we could do was hear the music. Very disappointing. They were essentially out of all the alcohols that I wanted to order, and I ended up with original Ciroc. Additionally, they brought out the birthday cake and I asked for silverware so we could eat it. The section girl told me that they did not have silverware (which is strange in itself??) and that I could take it home if I wanted to eat it. There were also no containers to take it home, so I would've been carrying an open cake on a plate. I ended up leaving the cake there. I am also not completely sure if the bottle they gave me actually was actually Ciroc as they brought it to me and "opened" quickly....all I know is that I was violently sick the next day and really had not drank that much; I threw up for about 7 hours the next day which is very odd. Additionally, I don't know what happened with my photo I sent in for the club flyer because I never saw it.... terrible experience and a waste of money. The ruined section placement & everything else ruined the energy on my birthday night for me and my friends. Edited because the reply from owner suggests I am fabricating things. Why would I lie about this....I Added photos of the cake received. There was no cover or wrapping. It was on a plate uncovered. I was told there was no covering or boxes. I was not about to carry it out uncovered all the way home, in heels to balance, in uber, etc. to have to balance it the whole time. Stage vs dance floor ... wrong word typed, but still the same situation of not receiving the section I was promised. Re: alcohol, I did not drink too much.

In the early morning of February 6th, Bliss Houston stated at 2:45am that they were open until 4:30am and served alcohol until 4:30am. It was a $40 cover charge. My friends and I paid $200 cover to get in. The bartender served us one drink at 2:50am. Then at 3:00am, the club then closed and kicked everyone out. I asked for a refund as we had been told the club was open until 430 am. They said sorry get out. No refund. Nothing. The "head of security" is a short, chunky, Hispanic guy that wouldn't give his name but was readily telling us to get out of the club 10 mins after they took our $200 in cash. This club is selling liquor after hours and also lying to customers to obtain money. This place needs to be shut down asap.

Drinks are waaaaaaayyyyy too high. Not only that they put me out my section cause I didn't buy a bottle. Nobody informed me that it was a 2 bottle minimum before I paid for a section. Still bought drinks and hooka and got put outside and said other people needed our section. Did not get refunded... do not go here if you really want to enjoy your birthday. Service was very horrible as well. Plus we all over dressed so put your slides and tennis shoes on.

Waited over 20 minutes before being acknowledged by the bartender. When he finally took our order, he charged us right away and handed the receipt, expecting us to tip before even being served. Since I paid with a credit card, I decided to leave a cash tip after service. However, when he saw the $0 tip on the credit card slip, he chose not to serve us. After waiting for another 20 minutes and watching the bartender serve the people after us. I had to ask another bartender to make the drinks I had already paid for, and I tipped him generously. Very unprofessional and disappointing service.

Hands down…the best…gay club in Houston..I’d even go as far as saying best club PERIOD in Houston!!!!! From the moment we walked in, it was a great time. You’re stamped when you enter so you are able to leave and return to grab a bite, something from your car, get some air or meet your friends outside. DJ Joe Ross played amazing music all night long!!! Display screens were huge, fog lamps were going all night and light show was *chef’s kiss*. Let’s not forget the 2 seperate bars, outdoor lounge and gorgeous Go Go dancers….oooooo it was steaming up in there!!! Speaking of steam, we danced for hours straight and although we were sweating it was very comfortable inside. We were cool but not freezing cold, which can happen when the AC is too low. Friendly and helpful staff throughout the entire night. Clean bathrooms and private booths if you’d like to reserve them for your party. Excellent! So proud to have a club like this in my town.

It was alright. My go to club is Numbers, but we came here because it was highly recommended. I’d describe the vibe as depressed early 20s. The dj did alright but every other song seemed to be a miss that they’d stick with instead of quickly fading it to something better. The drink I ordered tasted terrible so I had my half a drink then we left. There were also a lot of homeless a few streets over, so I’d discourage walking here.

This place is attached to the Marriott Hotel but definitely worth a trip in. We sat at the bar and had the chicken tenders and fries . The Tenders were hand breaded not the frozen variety and absolutely delicious. They had a very light breading but full of flavor and had a nice crunch to them. They were served with a signature sauce which was also very tasty . The fries had great texture with a nice crunch , I ordered as a side item.My friend ordered the brined wings and they were amazing as well. They were juicy and full of flavor. You can choose the sauce you want on them or get the plain. If you’re down town Houston and want some great bar food I highly recommend. The bar tender was excellent and gave us recommendations and was happy to be there. That always helps !

Wow - the most epic sports bar that I’ve ever been to! How many huge screens? Would be great to see the English Premiership on the screens and the Formula 1 !! Bottle of beer is roughly $10 each plus tips! Short & mixer (rum & coke) was $24 plus tips!!

Best Regards is exactly what an upscale, trendy bar should be—sophisticated yet welcoming, stylish without trying too hard. The atmosphere is chic, modern, and perfect for a night out whether you’re with friends, colleagues, or on a date. But what really makes this spot shine is Mel, the bartender. She’s not only incredibly friendly but also has that rare ability to make every guest feel like a VIP. Her cocktails are spot-on—balanced, creative, and beautifully presented. Beyond her skill behind the bar, Mel’s energy and genuine personality elevate the whole experience. She sets the tone, making Best Regards feel like more than just a bar—it feels like the place to be. If you’re looking for a stylish night out with exceptional service, Best Regards should be at the top of your list. Ask for Mel—she’ll make sure your evening is unforgettable.

Best Regards is hands down one of my favorite spots! The atmosphere is awesome—fun, welcoming, and just the right vibe whether you’re hanging with friends or grabbing a bite after work. The food is always delicious and you can tell they put care into everything that comes out of the kitchen. Plus, the drink selection is huge—lots of options for everyone, especially for cocktail fans. What really makes it stand out though are the people. The staff is super friendly, quick, and genuinely makes you feel like family. The owner, M, is just as great—always around, making sure everyone’s having a good time. Weather it's a watch party for a show or just relaxing on the patio, I love it here every time I come. Honestly, you can’t go wrong coming here. Great food, great drinks, and even better people. Definitely worth checking out!

Hi everyone, I did stumble on this place, looking for a fun Hispanic vibes. Just ok, too small. Be aware you will be charged additional 50$ beside 10$ at the door just to have a table. Of course, I declined it, sat at the bar. Good music but left after 30 minutes, no meringue, probably only playing salsa, no sure.. I guess did not do it for me. But the Pina colada was excellent 👌

CHECK YOUR RECEIPTS!!!! They add on 20% randomly to drinks and expect you to tip thinking people won't notice. Drinks are super expensive. My friend got two shots for $25. Just go to Little Woodrows, which is a 6 minute walk. Drinks are half the price there and way better. The atmosphere also isn't sketchy.

Ashley Kuehne14 months ago

I went for my first time the other night. The atmosphere was great but the female bartender not only over charged me but they do include their own a 20% tip on every charge which says on the receipt. My bill was $9.24. The receipt said 3.34 added for 20%tip which is more than 20% but whatever I just let it go. I get home and check my account and the bartender added ANOTHER 10 dollars for her tip even though I never wrote it on the receipt!!! Beware of you go here!! They will steal and get u!!

My friends and I went. It was fun. It was my first time because I wanted to go dancing. There's LOTS of cops in there. At the front, inside club area...I felt safe enough I guess. It's a little bit of a younger crowd but it was fun. 15.00 cover charge. My friend had to buy 30.00 worth of drinks on her table before they allowed her to get her card back. That i did not like!

They will tax you $3 for a $7 purchase for using a credit card. When I just spent $55 at a nail shop and they charged me $1 for using a credit card. It wasn’t that I didn’t have it, it’s just thr fact that they fill they can get away with it! I been to after hours and this it the only one that charges you $3 for such a small charge! So I will not be back! The club right next door had a long line now I’m wondering why that was! This one was empty and charge $3 for a $7 beer! Pls think twice before going and paying $15 to get in!

I had a disappointing experience at Blur Nightclub that left me frustrated. Right from the start, the Asian woman at the front entrance set a sour tone—she never smiled and looked visibly upset, which isn’t the vibe you expect walking into a nightclub. First impressions matter, and this one was unwelcoming. Inside, the club gets uncomfortably hot, making it hard to enjoy the night. Dancing and having fun shouldn’t feel like you’re in a sauna. Worst of all, when I asked for a cup of water to cool down, I was told they only sell bottled water. This is unacceptable and feels unsafe—free tap water should be a basic offering in a crowded, hot venue where people are drinking and dancing. Charging for water in those conditions is a cheap move and shows they care more about profit than patron safety. The music and energy might draw a crowd, but these issues—grumpy staff, overheating, and no free water—ruined the experience for me. I won’t be back unless they make some serious changes. Do better, Blur.

Love the vibes in this place but it gets HOT. Everyone’s packed like sardines which is fun when you’re drunk but being here sober is… not the best. The music is good but as other reviews say it gets repetitive. Lots of people in their early 20s which is nice for college students. One of my favorite bars in montrose! Also, bring cash for cover at the door!! Card line gets a bit long.

We paid $60 to get in when we had VIP but were refunded so that was a plus. But they didn't have a section for us so they sat us at a small square table gave us the ice bucket with the juices and cups and never came back with the bottle. After an hr of waiting they told us we had to pay $383 for the bottle that didn't come with the section. So we got a bottle but Instead was charged twice for a bottle $335.45 @7:07 pm and then $396.44 7:11pm (different prices none of what the machine said when I tapped my phone 383) and then was told I'd have to wait until my bank released the funds for the first charge. After purchasing the bottle I told him it was my sisters birthday and was telling him what sign I wanted when the bottle girls brought the bottle. He then told me it's just gon be one girl that brings the bottle to the table. There won't be any signs or sparklers like everyone else got that purchased a bottle. The hookah people were very kind and accommodating. Security was very good.

Went to an R&B The Sessions Concert here and had the best time. The seating was great. Everything was well organized and smooth. Aesthetics was nice, and it was clean. The drinks were a little pricey though so keep that in mind.

Way too small for any concert. Drinks are over priced. No good seltzers, only one they had was called “Happy Dad” and grape flavor! Eww!! It’s true 20% gratuity added to your tab automatically! The worst part is the AC was not cooling! It felt like a sauna in there and packed to the rim! The security kept pushing us away from the small VIP rope every 5 mins! Meanwhile we were trying to let the people walk in front of us so they can walk to the other end of the venue. If we were close to the VIP robe they made it a priority to keep telling us to back more into the crowd! Like there is no where to go!! Turn on the AC! The audacity smh!

This club was recommended by two friends, so when a member of my group suggested we go to Clé instead of Bloom, I was all for it. Parking varies, it's anywhere from $20-$100. I think $100 is ridiculous but you can find street parking. The bartenders were good and mixed good drinks. They didn't over charge as some bartenders do. We went for the lingerie contest. My old modeling agent had 6 of his girls entered into the contest. They were all beautiful and it was a great time. Since two of his clients had a table each, my friends and I didn't have to get one. The tables they had were between $1000-$4000. My friends and I danced most of the time so we didn't sit down. The music was great most of the time. They did a variety which included, old and new school hip hop, edm, and latin music.

I've read thru these reviews and was worried of attending the Erotic Ball last night. Glad to say my wife and had a blast. We were treated with the upmost respect walking thru the door til we left. There club is superb and definitely a reminder of Vegas. Drinks were a little pricey but they were strong and good. The best bartenders. We didn't see anyone hassled about their attire. A+ Classy club and we'll definitely return in the near future. 👍👍👍👍

This is thus far the worse nightclub I ever attended in my whole life. I reached out to the establishment a month ago about a birthday celebration. I told them I need a table with 2-4 bottles to celebrate a friend birthday. I explicitly said we were coming from New York City and want no problem just wants no problem getting into the club. I inquire about dress code and I was told they is no dress code. My friends and I got to the club and we were wearing shorts because it was very hot outside. We got to the club and they said my name wasn’t on the list and they have to talk to the manager to let us in. Next as we were about to walk in they charged us an extra $20 because of the shorts. I explained to them that we wasn’t aware about the dress code and that I talked to someone and booked this awhile ago. Third, we got in they have sold the section I previous reserved . They put us outside of the dance floor where the main ambiance is happening , they put us on a table by the bar ! You can’t hear music nor dance because there’s people walking in and out ! It’s close to the bathroom and the main entrance of the club. I express how I felt and the manager didn’t care at all. He was very rude and nonchalant about it. I ended it up spending $1200 dollars there $900 for the section and $300 on hookah and Red Bull. I would not recommend this club for anyone coming from out of state. This is a 100% scam. They will scam you and make money from you .

★☆☆☆☆ This place is a mess—people smoking weed, cursing, and looking for fights. Completely unprofessional vibe. The waitresses are nice to look at, but that’s the only positive. You’re constantly on edge, checking your safety every 10 minutes with sketchy characters all around. Service is way overpriced for the awful experience. Avoid at all costs. .
