What a great addition to downtown!! A healthy aspect with a side of sin !!! I absolutely love ❤️ it . Highly recommend this place . The employees are very approachable and the owners are on the customers level of genuine sincere ness and positive vibes !! . +on the plus sides place is very clean . Including the bathrooms .
Great food and great drinks , very nice to watch games in a big screen
Nice bar. Great place to watch a game. Staff is friendly and attentive. Was recommended by a someone from the Thomson Hotel. The hotel didn't have a TV at their bar. BOOOO. This place was great though.
I’ve been here several times and always enjoyed myself, the atmosphere is cool, the vibe is great, and I like that they’ve added darts and other games. Overall, it’s a solid spot. That said, I do feel the drinks are overpriced, especially the beer and High Noons. I understand they’re a newer bar and want to make profit, but honestly, if the beer was even a dollar cheaper, it might draw in more people and lead to better business long-term. A lot of my friends choose Alibis first because the drinks there are noticeably cheaper. One other downside is occasionally having to wave down the bartender because they’re caught up talking with friends. Not a huge deal, but it does affect the service experience. All in all, though, it’s a good bar with a great vibe, just wish the drinks were priced a little more reasonably.
This bar is beautiful bar that excels at customer service and drinks. The Vibes are smooth and cool. The decor is stunning and the live music sets the tone for a memorable night out in the town. The drinks are very strong and yummy! Our Waitress was Jenny and she was very nice, friendly and attentive! The bar is located on a busy part of the downtown but once you are inside, the ambiance is happy and relaxing at the same time. I will return to this bar next time I'm in San Antonio. HIGHLY recommended.
Such a beautiful bar, the air was clean the vibe was amazing. The staff was attentive and courteous. Rob and Jimena are wonderful bartenders, the drinks were on point and they were very welcoming. Joel Adrian was performing and we enjoyed the live music and vibe. Excellent experience, definitely recommend coming here for a beverage and a relaxing atmosphere.
We just found this place, and it's hidden but great. The atmosphere is amazing. It's wide open with small colorful tables and larger picnic type tables. 2 large screen TVs with the latest sports events on. Drinks are reasonable. We just had beers. They have our favorite game of Connect Four and have 2 of them. We will definitely be back.
In town for the 2025 Final Four and on our way out of the event, this spot represented a welcome rest stop for us. Brittany, the bartender, has one of the most friendly welcoming smiles you will see on a bartending professional. Her drink was on point. Josh, a michelada mixology expert is on another level. He was able to take my preferences for a spicy michelada and generate one of the most tastiest, refreshing micheladas I have ever had. And to top all that, they had a live DJ dishing out great music. In conclusion, check this place out!
This is a review of Mattenga's Pizza inside. The staff handled my order well, as I believe I was their first customer for the day. If you're looking for unique and affordable pizzas, this is the place to go. I ordered the brisket and green hatch chilis pizza which was wonderful. The toppings were cooked perfectly and the sauce and dough tasted great. I also got to try their dessert, which had a great crunch and was served with vanilla frosting. The venue looks like it will be a great spot with several bars and virtual golf / shooting setups when it opens soon. I'll definitely be bringing some friends along.
Walked in not realizing what this place was and oh my I was amazed from the golf simulators to the shooting simulators. Atmosphere was really clean and inviting. I was greeted by the beautiful host and she explained this newly opened place and everything they offered. The server Melissa was lovely and she informed us of all the promotions. She also set up the golf simulator for us. Bartenders are very experienced and hospitable and my drink tasted amazing. Food was top notch 10/10 as well, we started off with their shotgun shells and the sauce and flavor on the poppers were delicious. The cannoli was super crunchy and amazing and the price of them is unbeatable. The manager Vanessa greeted us and made this entire experience very special and memorable. I definitely look forward to bringing my friends here for the all day $6 mimosas on Sunday! Cheers!
This was my first time coming to Tenfold. My sister had told me about since she works at the Hilton hotel next door. She made reservations and when we got there we were seated. The staff is really nice. Our waiter Staci was so nice. Since it was our first time here she recommended the Dancing in the Rain and the Brave the Hurricane, since we were looking for a kind of sweet drink. Let me tell you the drinks did not disappoint. They were delicious. You can actually taste the alcohol in them. For for she recommended the Mezze Platter, Lobster Crispy Rice,Korean BBQ Wagyu Skewers. She did mention that everything on the menu was delicious. So we order the skewers, the Mezze plater and the Pani Puri. The only thing is the portion sizes for the price is not so good. But I guess it is to be expected. The rooftop is gorgeous and inviting. We cane on a Tuesday evening. It was not packed at all. I say it was a 10 out of 10. We will be back soon.
I was honestly disappointed. I came here yesterday for my birthday and made it clear that it was my birthday but the waiter did not seem to care. She messed up my drink order and my friend’s food order. I personally think it’s a nice atmosphere. The only thing that saved my night was the lobster crispy rice. I ended up leaving just because the service was not it for me. The drinks were decent but not the best. Overall, it is a beautiful place to sit and chat with friends but I would not go here for another birthday celebration.
Live-music venue & restaurant offering refined Texan cuisine, craft cocktails & draft beer.
This was a charming and wonderful experience! This place is hidden in plain sight being located beneath the food hall at the pearl. You take the set of stairs on the side of the building down into a hidden speak easy-esque bar and dining room with a stage where the band plays. I attended a New Orleans themed night which was absolutely amazing. The band was phenomenal and routinely plays at jazz, TX. The drink I had was so delicious that I ordered three! The drink menu is unique and very very good, as is the food menu! I ordered the calamari, risotto, and tried my friend’s ravioli which was also delicious. The service was also outstanding. This is such a fun place for a romantic date night and a great excuse to dress up. You need to buy tickets in advance and it does sell out. I highly recommend checking this place out.
Had the loveliest evening here! The ambiance was welcoming and relaxing, perfect for a solo date in San Antonio. The band that performed this evening was delightful and exceeded expectations in terms of the energy they brought to the place. During the performance I enjoyed some fried calamari that was paired with a delicious tangy sauce. The drink I ordered contained tequila, mezcal, and absinthe which I have never seen before on a menu locally! Shoutout to Andrew and Chris for their service and hospitality, as well as everyone behind the bar who works together diligently and cooperatively to ensure all guests are happy and well taken care of!
I just went last night with some friends for my big ol' 40 year old lady birthday ha 👵 and the staff, management, bartenders and entertainers were absolutely phenomenal. The dancers are gorgeous and very talented. I have been to a good amount of clubs in other states and this is only the second time I have seen artistic acrobatics. The girls looked like they were literally floating and gliding in the air. I think a lot of them could do professional Cirque Du Soleil shows. It was pure art and the best I have seen. The staff acknowledged my birthday and even gave me complimentary goodies. Everyone was very sweet and attentive. The patrons even treated me lol. Thanks James! Overall, I highly recommend this club. Thank you for making my birthday memorable & special 🥰
First time here and had the most absolute best time! All the managers were so attentive, the bar girls and alll the beautiful girls working here. I’ve never been to an establishment where my husband and I felt so welcome and comfortable. All the staff is welcoming and friendly and we will for sure be coming back to this place for any future fun! Everyone is super kind and welcoming. Girls are gorgeous ❤️
Sports-bar chain known for its waitresses, serving American comfort food in lodgelike surroundings.
First time at twin peaks. Alyssa T was amazing to my bf, daughter & I. She was knowledgeable & patient. She didn’t make us fell rushed even though it was busy & she actually checked on us during our meal. She was kind & provided great service. I had smoked wings & sweet potato fries. Everything was great & a great price point!
First time at the twin peaks, interesting to see how the waitresses were dressed😃 never seen something like that except for the beach hotels and resorts,I didn’t expect to see it, was surprised, but anyway our waitress was really sweet and her service good! Food is good too
Swanky bar set in a historic cellar serving classic cocktails, craft beer, select wines & bar bites.
This is a great spot to have drinks and catch up with friends or family. I would even recommend to couples for a date night. The “wells” look like a good spot to have a small, intimate setting. I had a drink from the special chartreuse menu with a few coworkers and it was amazing. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable on making great drink recommendations.
Such a fun ambiance for a hotel bar. Absolutely loved the historical theme, we felt almost pulled back in time. Upscale, but still inviting and accessible for a cocktail with friends. Drinks were crafted carefully and quickly. No food for us but the burgers looked decadent as they passed by
The Lonesome Rose is easily one of my favorite bars in Texas. Fabulous atmosphere, people, music, and drinks. Always a good time.
We are from Rhode Island and we wanted to check out a local bar. We were told to try the Lonesome Rose, and it didn’t disappoint. The doorman was super friendly and the bartender was great. He made a tasty margarita. I love this atmosphere, and wish that we didn’t live so far away.
This is exactly what you hope for in a dive bar. We had a great time hanging out inside, and on the patio. Great vibes great staff, great drinks. We may have spent a little too much time on the claw machine, but it was money well spent and a great time.
Randomly met a guy in KC/MO at a bar. Said he was from SA (I told him i was going to SA in a couple months for first time) and asked me what I liked. I said local dives. Told me to go to Brunos Dive. Arguably, best bar ive been too. Clean dive, amazing people/services, great prices! Highly recommend! Ive been to a lot of bars in a lot of states… this is at the top!
Playful, creative art experience featuring immersive & interactive installations.
I love this museum! I thought that it was fairly priced, and had more than enough art and experiences to take in; in fact, I believe that I missed some of the art because it is all so well integrated into the space. It's family friendly too! Highly recommended.
Such a cool experience! 10/10 recommend! Especially if you have people coming to visit. I did ask if they change out the exhibits and they said some of them will change every 6-9 months. Buy your tickets in advance! You can also buy them on Groupon!
Jedi has been missing. We need him back. The girls also are a big part of this establishment. They are awesome bar tenders.
Great space. Long live the 70s and 80s babies, looking for a place like back in the day. It's nice to have a comfortable goth club without all the kids. Not to mention Crissy is my favorite SA bartender!
dj is a little soft at closing, kinda puts you to sleep with soft r&b and seems like new age jazz.
This is my go to bar. Perfect for date night, girls night or just catching up with friends. The drinks are fresh and the staff is always nice. Love the decor it feels very thoughtfully placed and perfect for photo ops. Overall vibes are chill, the music variety is great. Probably one of my favorite bars in SATX ❀ SUPPORT LOCAL WOMEN OWNED BUSINESSES YALL.
This game-day bar serves burgers & fried fare, plus local beers & party platters for big groups.
Walked in around noon on a Sunday which was perfect timing. Fast seating and our waitress Alex was so warm and inviting! Love her! Now for the food.. absolutely delicious. I had the honey hot wings with lemon pepper as an app and the blackened shrimp with chicken alfredo for my entree 🔥
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ | Great Food, Even Better Service! Had a wonderful dining experience at Walk-On’s in San Antonio! From the moment we were seated, our waiter Romeo made us feel right at home. He was the perfect balance of attentive without being overbearing and truly knew the menu like the back of his hand. Romeo answered every question we had with confidence, offered great suggestions, and even shared some of his personal favorites—which did not disappoint! I ordered the shrimp and cheesy grits, and let me just say—magnificent! The grits were creamy and rich, and the shrimp was cooked perfectly. The sweet sauce on the shrimp really brought the dish together—it had a nice balance of sweetness and spice that left me wanting more. I also tried the lemon butter chicken with broccoli. The chicken was tender and moist with every bite, full of flavor and cooked to perfection. The broccoli was freshly steamed, with just the right amount of crunch—simple but delicious. Romeo also recommended one of their new bar drinks, and it was a hit! Refreshing and well-balanced, it really rounded out the meal. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the noise level—it was a little loud during peak time—but otherwise, everything was on point. With service like Romeo’s and food this good, I’ll definitely be coming back!
I did a Google search for San Antonio bars with live country music and El Honky Tonk came up. It's a neighborhood bar just a little off the tourist traffic areas. So glad I went - got there around 2:00 and stayed till closing time. Patrons were great, music was perfect AND the bartender was amazing - she was super friendly and super efficient & professional! I so enjoy watching a bartender work a busy bar - multi-tasking, networking, and the ability to continually smile & laugh. High recommended this watering hole ... the beer is COLD.
Went on tues night karaoke night decent crowd friendly barstaff well worth a visit
Cocktails & music spot filled with a mishmash of old furniture, plus arcade games & a pool table.
Went for dinner and Wednesday trivia and loved it! The atmosphere is so fun with old couches and quirky decorations, as well as the choice of music. The trivia was appropriately paced, and the trivia players were very energetic. Our server/bartender was very sociable and provided some excellent suggestions for pizza customization and drink options. I wish there were more NA drink options, but overall had a great experience and would highly recommend!
This place is super fresh. Cool calm and collective place to chill, eat, and hangout. Decorations on point I had a clean happy time and enjoyed every bit of my primo salad. Thanks E. Avalos for the is recommendation and thanks Eddie for the great service. Yall turn up and stay blessed✌🏾😎🤠✌🏾
Swanky speakeasy-style spot where hipster bartenders mix classic cocktails & also serve charcuterie.
Since moving into the Blue Star Property, I must express my appreciation for this establishment, which has swiftly become my favorite bar. The Speakeasy Lounge offers a truly delightful atmosphere, and I am particularly impressed by the quality of the drinks and the attentive service. I anticipate being a frequent visitor.
This bar almost feels like a speakeasy with how hidden and unassuming it is from the outside. I would never have suspected a bar as cool as this was on the inside of this building! The entrance is on the basement level of a shopping center so you have to take the stairs down. Once you’re inside, there is a long cocktail bar with various seating to the right and left in addition to the bar seating. The cocktails are so delicious and they can make anything you’d like! Such a wonderful bar experience
In a bar full of 3 people i was complety ignore for an hour had to walk up to the bar to oder my drink and whenever she decided to have it had to walk up to an empty bar to get it Waitress made everything uncomfortable and unwelcoming From texas on vacation saw this place on instagram but would not recommend After getting call from supervisor/ owner Owner stated i didnt give my id but clearly theres cameras where bartender didnt acknowledge me until i ordered and when i walked to the bar she just wanted my id not my drink which i gave but its like i just wasnt wanted. Camera clearly shows me handing my id out without hesitation after being ignored ………. Which just shows owner can defend anyone without watching tapes to gin her customers its cringe And owner didnt care either she offered free shots and drinks for bad time stating this is a common specific(to this) employee thing since its her sis cassandra- appreciate feedback but more likely will not be returning- why hire someone you know doesnt care about customers- as a bartender in my own town place dissapointed
First time at this bar and it was so good! Our service from Cassandra was amazing, from the drinks to the food! She was so good with the drinks and the bar was so clean too. Definitely recommend this bar!
Popular riverside beer garden in a leafy setting, plus porch swings & classic comfort food.
Great place to hang out with friends, grab a bite to eat, socialize, and listen to music. Friday and Saturday nights are all the way live. It's such a great addition to the community. Check their website for events happening Monday-Sunday. There's a whole lot going on and will keep you entertained. We ordered food from Elsewhere Kitchen and got the Impossible Not A Burger, it was pretty good. Loved the spicy brown mustard. And the Nashville Chicken Sandwich was amazing. Loved the red bell peppers and the Nashville Oil & Dust. Delicious. The surrounding area is beautiful, especially at night. It's perfect for couples who enjoying holding hands while taking a stroll. The twinkle lights, sounds of nature, and music sets the perfect tone. Or, if you just want to sit and relax, sip and beer and take in the scenery, Elsewhere has these cute swing chairs that give a perfect view over-looking the river.
A really cool concept. It is made out of a shipping container. Surrounded by flowers and beautiful plants. It is like an enchanted Forrest in the middle of nowhere. Service is great, the food is more than what I expected. We'll seasoned, super delicious. My Caesar Salad with chicken was massive and It came in a Mixing bowl 🥣 Loved the originality of it. The highlight was the cauliflower buffalo wings, they blew my mind, I couldn't stop eating them, you have to try them, they are highly addictive I kid you not.
Funky neighborhood watering hole known for beer, mixed drinks & casual Southern fare.
Love this bar. Husband and I frequent this place because of the vibe. It's a dark, small bar with outdoor seating. They always have some creepy horror movies playing. Good deals on drinks especially considering it's on the St Mary's strip. Damien is awesome! Love to always stop by for a few and say hello. Fun place!
Me and my friend were in the bathroom helping each other because we were vomiting in the restroom. All of a sudden there was a big bouncer guy or whatever knocking and knocking even after me opening the door and telling them that me and my friend got sick. After opening the door I was grabbed and rushed out while my friend was helping me stand and walk away from the bar. I was manhandled while I was trying to get out of the bar and he was just yelling vulgarities at me for no reason. They didn’t even let me go back to get my purse. Thank god a nice woman and her boyfriend got me away from that bouncer and calmed me down. I will never spend money and business here ever again after that pathetic attempt of handling something that could’ve easily been avoided. I used to be a regular here, but after this, never again.
Midcentury-inspired cocktail bar offering custom & classic creations in swank, modish digs.
Best cocktail bar in San Antonio, no question about it. I have never had a bad experience here and always look forward to going back! The bartenders are amazing and the drinks are amazing!
Randomly found this place while visiting SA. It's a very cool local spot. The vibes are super chill ☮️ from the music 🎶 to the employees to people. My overall, hands down MOST FAVORITE part of this place...it's that the bartenders are TRUE MIXOLOGISTS!!! There's NO menu...EVERYTHING is 'CUSTOM MADE'!!! 🍸🍹🥃 Such an awesome concept to have and gives the bartenders an opportunity to showcase their talent and creativity. If you're a local and not familiar with this spot or simply in town visiting...I highly recommend giving it a try. Be sure to ask for 'Ruby'...she's absolutely fantastic, super friendly, and very tentative, no matter the crowd size. 🩵
It used to be blue house, but now it's called bar Eight Two O.. improvement has been made.. Clean area good music good drinks..
Bar was clean and played good music. Not called blue house anymore.
Definitely a San Antonio hidden neighborhood gem. Great friendly staff and crowd, open jam was well received by everyone.
A Quintessential Dive Bar Experience! Lighthouse Neighborhood Lounge truly embodies the spirit of a quintessential dive bar, offering an experience where the people-watching is unparalleled and the atmosphere is genuinely friendly. The standout feature is their amazing drink prices and specials, available all the time, making it an incredibly budget-friendly spot to unwind. The staff and customers alike contribute to a welcoming and affable environment, fostering a strong sense of community that's often found in beloved local haunts. While the pool table may show some signs of wear or - even a war - it doesn't detract from the overall positive vibe and the opportunity for some casual games. The only significant drawback is the complete lack of food options, even simple snacks like chips. Adding even a minimal selection of munchies would undoubtedly elevate Lighthouse Neighborhood Lounge to a five-star dive bar in every sense, providing the perfect accompaniment to their fantastic drink deals and lively ambiance. Overall, if you're looking for an authentic dive bar experience with incredible value on drinks and a prime spot for observing the local scene, Lighthouse Neighborhood Lounge is a top contender, despite its snack-free status.
Easygoing, no-frills tavern offering pub grub such as burgers & pizza plus outdoor tables & pool.
Great little dive bar with really tasty food and a wide selection of beers and spirits. They have karaoke three night a week (Sundays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays) and some really good regular singers. They have a single pool table with free pool on Mondays. Fun little hangout.
Really loved this place! I’d been here a few times before over the years but it’d been a while. Last came to see my friend Miss Rosalie (check her out in Spotify/Apple Music) perform along with some other cool indie bands. Cool spot with plenty of inside & outside seating, fun music, fast bar service, and great pickle shots! Also 10/10 recommend the “chicken lollipops” (smoked bbq chicken 🤤)
I'm so used to going here to meet friends and have drinks. The previous owner was a bit more sociable, but I understand that not everyone can classify themselves as "outgoing. " I do give the new owners much credit for making the space more comfortable . I love what they did to the patio, and I smoke a cigar occasionally. It's a great way to relax and engage in stimulating conversation. They may also have plans to increase the size of the ladies ' room. A line of women vying for the use of 2 stalls is a bit hectic at times 😪. The drinks are good. Callie and "T" are amazing. There are several food trucks to choose from. There are always themed events to choose from on different days of the week. The newest event on Saturday afternoons is the day party hosted by Reggie and Keewanee!! I attended the first one and had a great time!! Visit Midtown 's website often for upcoming events. DJ Remaniss definitely plays the latest and greatest with some of the old school mixed in. Plus, he's always open to requests, and he definitely plays to the crowd. You can get on the dance floor and dance the night away. I guarantee whatever your flavor, from drinks to music to people, can be found at Midtown!! There's something for everyone.
Midtown gets down! Lol If you love old school, R&B, hip-hop, rap, and maybe sometimes, the Blues, you'll love Midtown. Their drinks are reasonable and they 🫗 pour you a DRANK! lol ☺️ Their atmosphere has changed since I've been there (last). It's nice and they have food trucks that are amazing and worth 😉 getting during and after the club...so, if your interested in hanging out and you like to dance 💃 and have drinks 🍸, Midtown lounge is the place. They also have and outside area for you to hang out and relax. T. Nelson
Straight-up sports bar with multiple TVs & entertainment like pool, darts & electronic games.
Cheap drinks, low key atmosphere, I love coming here
Happy Birthday lil cousin Tisha Winn.. I enjoyed your celebration.
Chill beer garden with ample indoor & outdoor spaces offering beer, cocktails & food truck eats.
We’ve been to Burleson Yard Beer Garden a few times and always had a great experience. The food comes out fast (the Philly was delicious), and both the indoor and outdoor spaces are really nice. Indoors is cool and comfortable, and once the sun goes down the outdoor area is perfect. On our last visit, our band James Truth and the Consequence played a three-hour set to a packed outdoor crowd on a Thursday night. Such a fun atmosphere with lots of dancing and laughs! We also love that kids are welcome until 9 p.m., which makes it family-friendly early in the evening. Great spot for food, drinks, and live music — highly recommend!
This place has easily been one of my favorite spots in San Antonio for a while now. Their happy hour is always solid, and I love that they constantly have pop-up markets and live bands—it makes every visit feel a little different. The food on-site is a big bonus too, and I have to say, their wings are some of the best I’ve had in town. Pair that with one of their margaritas and you’re set. It’s a fun, laid-back place with a great vibe whether you’re going with friends or just hanging out for the music and the vibes. We love it here 🥰
Was told to take kids to get the famous Mango ice cream at this bar, so we did on our last trip downtown to enjoy a pleasant spring day. This hotel is a historic treasure that is fun to walk through and imagine the old days of SA. The atmosphere in this small bar has not changed over the decades. The ice cream is not cheap, but it is really good to enjoy from the balcony. Check it out!
Me and my wife stopped in here last week and really enjoyed the atmosphere and the service. The food and drinks are very good. The mango ice cream is superb. The employees are awesome. This place is rich with history as well.
Francheska was a delight! Great, quick service! Strong, tasty drinks, immaculate vibes! Highly recommend for locals and tourists alike!
Second time here and definitely coming back. Julia makes great drinks, always attentive and so nice! The drinks are good, clean place and lots of room to have a big gathering. Haven't tried the food but will have to next time! You can tell they have the regulars which always gives good vibes!
Upbeat bar with a huge selection of beers on tap, plus elevated, globally inspired pub food.
September 2025 It has been a while, since covid-19, that I have visited this establishment. There is no reason for my absence. When my group of 4 arrived, we were quickly greeted and allowed to pick our table for seating. Our server, Mercedes, too real good carenofnus during our stay. We were given time to review the beverage menu, and Mercedes answered a handful of questions. We ordered various beers and/or margaritas (raspberry). We also ordered the Swedish meatballs to share amongst our group. We left before it got too late, and will be back. I hope that if you decide to visit this place that your experience is as good as mine or better.
Met some friends, first time there. Ordered off the Sunday brunch menu, had a couple of beers and some wine. Fun atmosphere and their menu is HUGE!
Unpretentious watering hole featuring pool, darts, shuffleboard & weekend karaoke.
Can I give it 10 stars instead of five !!? First time here, we came here because we saw online they have Friday Fish Fry. We came to find out that it’s a promotion for a certain time of the year ! But the manager Rob was nice enough to make it happen !! I’m impressed by the quality of the fish…. The batter was so crispy, the fish was light and flaky. It was amazing!! Not only was the food great, the entire staff was friendly and the beer was nice and cold. Can’t wait to come back next time. Note: Bring back the fish Fry for Fridays !! Loving the vibes !! Even karaoke Fridays !!
This place was a nice easy going bar with a 30+ crowd for the most part which is to say it was a damn good time with adults who can control themselves lol Saturday night is karaoke night, the drinks are cold and the price is right. They serve food here however I have yet to give anything a whirl, I was told the buffalo wings are stellar so I will give those a try next time. All in all, great place to stop in and have a drink... Or two. 🍻
Laid-back sports haunt with a patio offering American grill fare & pool amid TVs & beer signs.
This is a nice little locals bar of San Antonio. They drinks are cheap, plentiful, and over flowing. Clean environment and friendly staff. You can always come inside this bar and feel safe and strike up a conversation with anyone and find a commonality or enlightened conversation. They have a cozy outside area that nice to sit outside and enjoy a covered patio with those huge windmill fans. They do serve food there and the chicken wings are def winging in the best possible way. Meaty, well cooked and sauced with the perfect amount. Check this place out and leave a review. They have a healthy hand with serving you. So go there for drinks and have a great time but be safe about getting home.
It was a good experience in this place! Two ladies handling all the drink orders in smooth flow. They have variety of drinks like local beer, cocktails, and even creative drinks. They also offers wide variety of food that blend pretty well with your drinks.
Chic rooftop lounge featuring Mediterranean bar bites & an outdoor patio with sweeping city vistas.
The Moon’s Daughters was an excellent choice for a nighttime rooftop dining experience in San Antonio. Our waiter was incredibly helpful, even recommending local spots to check out since we were visiting from out of town. The cocktails were strong and well-crafted, the food was delicious, and the city views were absolutely stunning. A couple of tips: while the rooftop stays open until midnight, the kitchen closes at 10 PM, so make your dinner reservation for 9:30 or earlier if you plan to eat. There isn’t a strict dress code, but I’d recommend dressing up a bit to match the elegant atmosphere. Overall, highly recommend for the views, vibes, and drinks!
I was here multiple times throughout my 3-night stay at the Thompson, and the experience was top notch! The staff is incredibly friendly and quick. From management to the host, everyone was a joy to converse with. While I didn’t get all their names, I do know Adriana, Ben, Jonathan, Allison and multiple others contributed to this great experience — thank you! Now, while the food is a little on the high end, the menu is unique featuring dishes I don’t normally see on my travels. Finally, make sure you catch the sunset from the terrace (or even inside the bar). You won’t be sorry you did!
Great first time experience at this bar. This place has a bar, pool tables, machines, and even a karaoke stand! I'm grateful for the great customer service and drink specials.
The Bartender Patti is not only gorgeous and friendly shz hands down one of the greats here in SaTown🥰 she brings in the greatest local entertainment she makes the Best drinks and shots Hands Down🔥 They have pool, darts vegas games, sports and eats I think and a small outdoor patio area. But the dance area is muey small and the usual weekday crowd really not my vibe but picks up with rockin local bands on weekends!😎🤘🍻🍷🍸🥂
Mellow, underground bar doing classic & contemporary cocktails in speakeasy-style digs.
For me... I mean, i see a lot of folks congregating having a good time, but - for me? I can find a dark, quiet booth to sip my finely crafted vieux carre, and be left *alone.* sometimes I just wanna get out, and I am so glad there's a quality dining establishment within an easy drive of most of stone oak! They don't have alot of food - a personal charcuterie is all, but they often have someone making plates in the parking lot. Tonight I think it was a type of Philly cheese steak. Anyway, good speakeasy! Friendly bartenders! ( If you're into that.)
Potential is there so I see why it's on a lot of "best bars in SA" lists. We visited on a Wednesday night and it was still a pretty good crowd. Three bar tenders appeared to be working and they seemed to be handling the business so no service issues. The main issue as other posters have noticed is the music volume and choice being inappropriate for the atmosphere. They're obviously going for a cozy, quiet, dimly lit speakeasy environment but having a loud random mix of pop music ruins the attempted ambiance. The other issue was in regards to the drink pricing. While presentation, flavor, and speed of preparation were good; $42.00 for 2 drinks seems really steep for that environment. Unlikely to return in the future.
This place is pretty cool it has like a vampire gothic vibe to it which is always fun especially around Halloween time and the drinks were pretty good the only complaint is it’s so small it’s hard to find somewhere to sit but definitely has some interesting art pieces all over the walls that I loved reading them all in my own way!
Bartenders were fun and friendly. Ordered beer and shot combo that was affordable. If you're into a "gothic vibe" definitely should check this place out.
High-end sports-bar chain with a huge menu of New American fare & an extensive list of draft beers.
Good variety food that cater to vegetarian and non vegan crowd. The sweet potatoes appetizer a bit dry and over cook. Onion rings a bit hard on the batter. Pizza a bit salty. Service is good and deco is great for social get together.
Food was pretty good, the service was OK, atmosphere was all right. Also, beware. They do charge you for games on the little iPad. They placed it in front of us and said you can play games on here and order food, so we thought it would be fun for the kids to do. It turns out it’s $2.99 for that, so just be aware of that before you play the games!
Laid-back, well-rounded bar with sports on TV & occasional live music, in a 19th-century building.
Cute neighborhood bar with live, music, outdoor seating & a food stand right outside in a great downtown spot.
Nice place to get a drink. Holly was really nice! They do football sunday thing with some basic food. I loved it will always recommend
Casual hangout serving beer & cocktails with hearty bar fare amid TVs for sports-watching.
Food was phenomenal! The wings are some of the best I've had and the nachos did not disappoint. Don is the master chef in the back and he gets down on this food y'all. Service was fast and polite, out bartender Kayla was absolutely superb! We also loved that it seemed to ne full of regulars, just another hint at how good this place is. Great weekly specials here also. All in all definitely a must try! Or don't!? More for us 😋.
The Lost Bar is a hidden gem that lives up to its name—in the best way possible. Tucked away from the usual crowds, it offers a refreshingly intimate and inviting atmosphere that’s perfect for both a laid-back evening or a lively night out. From the moment you walk in, the vibe is warm and effortlessly cool. The decor blends vintage charm with modern edge, and the lighting sets the perfect tone for conversation or quiet contemplation over a drink. Whether you're grabbing a stool at the bar or settling into a cozy corner, it feels like the kind of place you’ll want to stay a while. The drink menu is thoughtfully curated, with both creative cocktails and solid classics. Everything is well-balanced and made with care. The bartenders clearly know their craft and are always happy to make recommendations. Bonus points for the unique house specials—they really elevate the experience. Service is friendly, genuine, and unpretentious. You’re treated like a regular, even on your first visit. Overall, The Lost Bar delivers that rare mix of character, quality, and comfort. It’s one of those places you’re tempted to keep secret—but it’s just too good not to share.
Kid-friendly ice house with 250-plus brews, Mexican & American fare & brunch in a relaxed setting.
Service is ok, but even the inside seating very hot, I understand its a outside bar and grill but if you have issues with the TX heat be careful. The food took long because one of the cooks passed out and needed EMS to give them fluids. They said the kitchen is that hot that it needs better ventilation.
Absolutely love The Friendly Spot! Great drinks, delicious food, and amazing customer service. The atmosphere is super chill — perfect for relaxing with friends or enjoying a casual hangout. Highly recommend!
Drove by this place on the way to our hotel. We made the short walk back to this establishment after getting unpacked and settled in. Was definitely something different for me since I usually do sport bars. But the lay back atmosphere and the drinks made me realize I'd been missing out. The water bottle with shot glasses to self serve your water was something new to me definitely a good touch. We didn't do a plate but appetizers instead. The oysters were good and the Boudin balls were just as good . Me and my wife really enjoyed this place and the budget friendly happy hour definitely helps. We'll be coming back to San Antonio plenty with my son attending UTSA I do believe we found another must stop everytime we come back. Highly recommend stopping here
Awesome spot with great food and even better drinks! Bryan was a great bartender and took care of us the whole night. Let us know the specials and kept the coming! Music was great too!
Classic sports bar with basic snacks & drinks, plus diversions like pool, darts & video games.
Visited this place today to watch the Manchester Derby. The environment was good, people from the bar and Manchester United group were friendly. The pub usually opens all times for the Manchester United games be it 5:30 AM or 11 AM kickoff. They have plenty of screens and ample seating, their beer selection is good and prices are very much affordable. I had their french-fries and chicken nuggets and they were very tasty. Looking forward for watching more games at the bar.
A place to relax with family and friends. I didn't get my pretzel, but that's okay. The waitres and bartender were super busy taking care of everybody. It got busy quickly.
Old-school cocktail lounge with karaoke & Las Vegas-style shows.
A stellar service! The bartenders are super friendly, and the owner too! He got us a martini special on the house, it was a very nice gesture! It’s a small venue with a great bar and selection of drinks. The martinis are so flavorful and very reasonably priced. There is a $10 per person entrance fee when a live band plays. We stumbled upon this place by accident when Shakira concert was postponed and I’m glad we found it!!! A very nice spot with live music and great cocktails. A mostly mature crowd ranging from 40s-60s with a few younger folks, which makes it feel more peaceful and drama free.
Nice place. Everyone was friendly from the employees to the patrons. Music was excellent. Live band "Top Shelf". Played a wide variety of music so definitely something for everyone to enjoy.
Inspired drinks & pub grub in vintage digs with a patio & the longest wooden bartop in Texas.
This is the oldest bar in San Antonio. Very dimmly lit with dark woods. Awesome atmosphere. Handcrafted cocktails and try their own beer that is only sold there. The food was amazing, as well. There is also a downstairs area that is more intimate with a more limited food menu. Definitely a place to go to.
I forget exactly how my friend and I came across this place, but we made the right decision to eat here. It was hot outside that day, but it was much cooler indoors. The service was quick, the food was great, and our table had a lantern, which reminded me of the one my grandmother used to have. Very fine establishment!
I like this bar every time we go play pool. They have a 7 foot diamond table that plays well. The usual beers on tap and a good selection of bottle beers. I like the fact that they have 16oz coors light in a aluminum pint. The Rock and Rap music they play there brings back memories of my 20's... The only negative about the place is parking... This place is sandwich between a Thai restaurant and a car wash so parking is either tight or none..
I've been twice now in the last week and I've had a really good time. The drinks are reasonable the bartender has been super cool and friendly. There is only one pool table so that can be a problem maybe but yet I have been able to stay on the table haha... The other guy in the picture.... That young man is a killer on the table hahahaha... Be advised
Vibrant bar with a Lucha Libre theme serving playful cocktails & hosting weekend DJs & dancing.
Honest lengthy review. Cool, chill bar you want to go to with a small town vibe (iykyk). I absolutely love the luchador theme!! Very unique, wish the spot was closer to Southtown. However if it was it would not be able to offer neighborhood bar prices on drinks. Mixed crowd leaning towards mature. The had a live band and a DJ on a Saturday. The band had a small town feel and good vibes. We were with a party that had tickets for drinks and what we could purchase was not made very clear. Perhaps it was a lack of communication on the party's side. When going to redeem the ticket for a beer, we wanted a Michelob ultra. We were told Michelob was an import and the tickets were only good for domestic beers. I believe this is a simple misunderstanding and the establishment should research and understand imports are beers crafted/sourced from another country maybe even state. Michelob Ultras are part of Anheuser which is not an import, they are the same makers of Budweiser, Bud light, Bud Ice etc. For a time and every now and then it is can be considered an premium beer but not import. We were also given different tickets that were used for well drinks. I choose a bourbon and coke. My drink was ok, no umff👊. They have a great outdoor area, unfortunately we didn't go out. Removing the wall sperating the outdoor area & making a service bar in between would be an great addition! I also believe it needs a detailed cleaning with fresh mops. There was a lingering odor. Other than that I would definitely return! The drink prices are good, the area was quite. Parking was limited next to the bar but there is an area across the street. Posting signs could help this.
This was my 2nd visit. On my 1st visit they got me with the dos xx dressed with camoy & tajin. 😋 I like how the place is small & welcoming. Nice place to beat the heat, their ac is on full blast. Nice & chill environment, older crowd. 2nd visit they had a live band playing 80s music. I was impressed by the band. They have a small dance floor & parking is limited. I overheard some folks saying the restrooms could use a little freshening up – the smell of urine was a bit noticeable. Hopefully, they can get that sorted out quickly. I didn’t see them serving any food that night but they are close to a whataburger. Pretty great place to chill with friends.
Creative cocktails, whisky, absinthe, cigars & small plates in a trendy bar with a chill vibe.
This is definitely my happy place! Their drinks are amazing, delicious, and complex! We have our favorites (Righteous, Dulce Fuego, Crimson Pearl), but we love to try their new, seasonal drinks. David, Jorge, and John (really all the staff), have always been attentive and absolutely incredible when it comes to customer service! Definitely a must try when in San Antonio.
Best whiskey bar in town, plenty of whiskey and tequila options along with great craft beer choices. Their happy hour is fantastic! They stay open late which is a rarity on this side of town from 4pm-2am every night. They also have live music on Friday and Saturdays. What sets them apart is that their employees are fantastic, they are knowledgeable, friendly and talented in their craft. Everyone treats you like family here. Also they allow dogs!
Lively country-western bar & dance hall featuring happy hours, plus live bands on the weekends.
Live music on Thursday was great! Emiliee was our bartender and she was amazing!!! Very attentive and super friendly. Even when it was extremely busy she gave us top tier service the entire time.
On a Tuesday night, I was invited by T-bone, a patron, to this place for karaoke, had a blast. Malorie, the bartender, was super sweet, quick on her feet, and serves you up with your favorite beverage and with a stellar smile (tip these souls for they are hard working and deserve signs of appreciation); if you are in the area, definitely stop by. Karaoke starts late though--check the website or call for times if you don't plan on staying until 1 or 2 am. All the best!
Polished, sports-oriented bar offering pub fare, beer & spirits along with nightly entertainment.
My first time going to this establishment, they were having a karaoke contest everything was fine till judging time.., mark was the KJ at the time and ultimately the person who chooses the winner at first was told it was audience participation which would be a popularity contest. The first male singer was AMAZING!!! But when the contest was time to be judged every male contestant was called up EXCEPT the first AMAZING singer MARK FORGOT to say his name then when called out on it was told he picked the top 4 male singers yet he called 6 of 7 singers up to be judged… SORRY GUYS THIS CONTEST IS RIGGED!!! If they had redone the audience participation again that would have been fair but instead MARK pounded his chest and LIED when in fact it was a mistake on his part!!! Too bad he can’t own up to his wrongs MAKES THE BAR LOOK BAD I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND Engaging in this contest that is RIGGED!!!
I usually get bored at most bars, but this place is awesome! They have a variety of different games to play with friends. The DJ offers karaoke and trivia. There's also live sports on TV inside and outside. Did I mention that the drinks are very strong and the service is impeccable! The perfect place for a night out.
Classic bar with an industrial edge doing craft beer & cocktails plus live music, DJs & karaoke.
Southtown 101 cool spot at the corner of Peridad and Presa. We stopped by for food and the drinks. There is plenty of parking around the building or off the street. We got there and this sweet car was outside! They did have a screen up and the NBA finals game on. They have plenty of inside and outside seating. But the food hit the spot! Really good flavor and a good amount of options. We ordered crispy chicken sandwich, wings, loaded fries, bacon wrapped jalapeños egg rolls, and friend pickles. Everything on the menu was a hit! Best part was the kitchen was open till 1am. Next up was the bar! They had good drink specials. We had $5 a you call liquor drinks. We had ranch waters and miller lites. Bill was not expensive at all. Staff was great! Bar was clean. After the game ended the party started with Karaoke. My wife and our friends sang and the DJ was cool. He had a good set up and we all had a good time. Karaoke on Thursday at Southtown 101 is where it’s at.
I will always brag about the chicken wings. Im born and raised in San Antonio. These are amazing chicken wings. Best I've had. Burgers are juicy and tasty. Atmosphere is perfect. Recommend this place highly
Chris did a wonderful job getting a new VIP SECTION for me. He does wonderful drinks and has great customer service. It has a great AC SYSTEM, that is needed in this kind of hot weather. Restrooms are very clean so that's a good thing. They actually had a Bad Bunny in the building that actually looked like him. Definitely a good spot to have a Bday party at.
No cover on Friday when I went. They run some drink specials every day, pretty chill! Nice people. Better than Heat but small inside and barely no Latin music.
We went because my fiancé had won tickets to see our favorite radio hosts BMS from 99.5 Kiss. The Whole experience was wonderful. I honestly have not had that much of a good time in a very long time. Food and service was perfect. Place was so cool and show was awesome.
On Friday, around lunchtime, my husband and I decided to embark on an adventure, and it was one to remember! Despite the lunch menu being offered, we were thrilled to receive the full main menu, opening up a world of delicious options. I opted for a mouthwatering salad topped with succulent chicken. My husband was also raving about his meal, though the details have slipped my mind—it shows how engaging the atmosphere was! The background was filled with fantastic music that set the perfect vibe, and the walls were a gallery of stunning artwork. Enjoy!
Great place to unwind, relax, tap your feet to good music, and enjoy good food. This location is right off the freeway, giving you access to head east or west back into the city. There is plenty of room to order, sit, and enjoy space in between seating. Bar is placed perfectly in the middle with restrooms to the left, with outside entry, and to the right, you have the food ordering station with games and more seating. They do offer happy hour with different drink and food menu options for one or multiple people in your party. Come enjoy some away time and let them serve you with incredible table service. The staff is very attentive to your needs and will be very responsive. I'll be back to try more off the sink and food menu for sure. Until then, you must try for yourself!
Very exciting atmosphere, loud sound for games . It gets packed. Half inside it’s cool inside half outside pretty cool, never been here before, If outside bring a hat it’s hot and sunny at this time. They sprinkler fans but of course does not reach everyone I see swings. Chairs, sofas, tables of all kinds pick your spot long tables too so if want to save come early, $80 for 12 bears. They also have snacks and meals and snacks. Also bring extra lawn chairs cause there is not enough here. Plus maybe we can bring our own small ice chest toto keep ice cold beers cause these metal buskets outside are not doing it. And umbrellas too. Tip the poor waitresses girls there are not too many here, so be patient !! Doing great for as little they have .. be nice everyone thanks you girls are doing great !! Hard work keeping us and our liquids up!!!
High-energy regular live music shows in a popular bar chain featuring novelty bucket drinks.
My boyfriend took me here for the first time (I’m from out-of-state) in September. When he made the last minute plans, I tried to talk him out of it, because I didn’t know what to expect. I’m so glad he didn’t let me do that. I had a great time. I loved how the crowd was encouraged to participate. The performers were fantastic and the staff was friendly. Our waitress was Emily and she was amazing. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
So we were invited to this club to celebrate mother's Day. It was FANTASTIC. Great service, good drinks, but the band was AWESOME. Never saw a more versatile band in my life. Every member of the plan could play every instrument. They did not stop playing for 4 hours. I highly recommend visiting this place if you are in San Antonio on a weekend.
Joey is a great bartender who instantly makes you feel welcome. He brings a perfect mix of skill and personality to the bar. He creates a relaxed, and friendly atmosphere. Danny is also really pleasant and adds to the overall positive vibe. Together, they make it a great place to hang out and enjoy a drink.
I had an amazing time here. You can tell so much thought was put into this bar. I had the purple spur drink and it’s now one of my favorite drinks to grab in downtown San Antonio. I didn’t realize they had a food menu as well so I grabbed a smash burger and it was so good!! Fancy sports bar downstairs and a great dance floor upstairs for line dancing and two stepping, you can literally hear the boots thundering. Must try again to try everything on the menu.
Airy dance club located inside historic Aztec Theatre, offering Mesoamerican decor & VIP service.
I like this venue. Great design and just fun to walk through the lobby. Stage is smaller and venue is too so not a bad seat in the plaec but oppertunity to upgrade your seats. Have been here fro Ben Folds (Music) and Stand Up (Somebody Feed Phil) and each time it has been a good experience. They definately live up to their name, AZTEC.
Very beautiful, and the opportunity to upgrade tickets after you already show up is cool. I MUST remove stars because it turns out the bars don't carry redbull. Nor a generic replacement. Truely hainous Other notable mentions: The popcorn costs more than at theaters, but in a small bag that generically hold the stale, cold kernels. Nachos are great, also expensive. I got overcharged for drinks at the bar too: 2x their normal price.
Nightspot showcasing multiple styles of Latin music, including salsa, merengue, cumbia & bachata.
I was a first time guest on Sunday night, at Arjons. Upon entry, I was greeted with a smile. There was a $10 cover charge, and I paid $7.00 for my drink. The ambiance was sexy and fun! There was plenty of seating available, but everyone was dancing(no one was holding up the wall). There were several couples, but it’s also a great place for singles(like myself). The live band was amazing, and they were also great to look at! Lastly, security was present, on-guard, and personable. I can’t wait to try the food truck in front of the establishment next time. ❤️
Great place to loosen up and dance 🕺 the night 🌙 away, feel free to take a dance class.
Night spot with live country music, dance lessons & a mechanical bull, plus an indoor rodeo arena.
Cowboy Dancehall Saloon was a boot-stompin’ blast. 🤠🎶 Huge dance floor, easy two-step lessons, and a live band that kept the hits rolling. The mechanical bull was a hilarious thrill, drinks were cold, and the crowd was friendly. Perfect for newbies and seasoned boot-scooters alike—would giddy-up again!🥃🪩🪕
Great fun on birthday party night with my friends. I love the huge dance floor and that they keep it really cool. I only drink diet soda but it tasted more like club soda. It was very nice that they gave free soda refills.
Long happy hours lure locals to this cozy lounge with sofas, TVs, drink specials & a relaxed vibe.
Nice small intimate bar. Very cold brew, but AC seemed out on this visit. VERY friendly, attentive, and engaging bartenders. Today was packed with convention guests, and bartenders rocked it!!
My family was on vacation in San Antonio and we came across this place. The drinks were incredible, the service was amazing, and our bartender was so kind. She explained each signature cocktail in detail and how they represent the state and city. We loved it so much we had to come back the next day! I highly recommend this place if you’re in the area and looking for a cool little place to get some drinks!
Billiards, darts & karaoke keep patrons occupied at this bare-bones bar that also hosts live music.
Let’s start with the positives: the bartenders? Flawless. Drinks were strong, service was quick, and they had great energy all night. The vibe? Real cute. Big dance floor, good crowd, we were ready to have a good time. Now… let’s talk about that DJ. Karaoke night turned into “The Favorites Show” real quick. We came to sing, not to sit around watching the same three people do their greatest hits marathon. Meanwhile, the rest of us were basically background vocals. We got to sing once. ONCE. If you’re gonna host karaoke, at least pretend to keep it fair. Ain’t nobody got time to be ignored after waiting all night with a Beyoncé-level performance in the chamber. Might swing back for the drinks and the dance floor, but the karaoke setup? Needs a remix. Immediately.
It's a nice environment. I absolutely loved the karaoke. But the price for our drinks kept changing. The "bartenders" said our tab was more than what our ticket reflected. Nice way to take advantage of people trying to have good time. Not to mention the whole night, the main bartender kept bad mouthing the other. Not cool.
This no-frills hangout draws eclectic crowds with a retro jukebox, pool, beer & old-school appeal.
My experience at this establishment wasn't just about the food; it was about the incredible people! I celebrated my birthday with friends and chose this place as our final stop of the night. The staff surprised me with a cupcake, which truly made my day feel special. The real highlight, however, was when I lost a valuable ring during my visit. Not only did someone turn it in, but the staff went above and beyond when I called to inquire about it—they had secured it in their safe and understood its significance. It was my anniversary ring, and their kindness and honesty were profoundly reassuring in today’s world. I cannot thank you enough for your amazing service! Your establishment and the wonderful team you have truly make it a great place, and I look forward to returning!
bar crawl starting point and we had a great time playing pool and connecting with friends. great music selection and cute and fun cocktails. service however was disappointing, felt as if we were not welcomed. bartender was rude and not attentive at all. i’ll try it again on our next visit, maybe it was an off night ?
Potted plants lend a tropical air to this lively lounge with creative cocktails & DJ'd music.
As we were here at merkaba the bar attendance kept ignoring all the black people at first I was like maybe the music, mabye it was too loud but then too young black females came in right after us and she was a small petite girl so she had to get on the bar stool and lean halfway over the bar to get the guys attention and we all seeing that he turned around and noticed her and still did not acknowledge her.we was there like 20 minutes before she was and still waiting for them to take an order and she was there after that incident for another 30 to 45 minutes without her order taken as well. This bar needs to really get some better workers that was not called for and we will No longer will be attending this bar.
We held a private company event at Merkaba and it was fantastic. Whitney the event coordinator was great, she was very communicative and ensured everything went well. The servers and DJ were awesome. Our team had a great time! Would definitely recommend!
Classic grub, import drafts & kilted servers in a riverfront spot with TVs, theme parties & a patio.
We brought our large group and had the best service from Ashley S!! She did a stellar job making sure we had everything we needed. She pays attention to all the details!!! And she was so sweet to talk with- even visiting with my youngest daughter for a while making everyone feel welcome! Definitely request Ashley as your waitress!!! The atmosphere was superb. We were seated right along the riverwalk (although indoor seating was available). All the food from burgers to fish and chips to drinks was delicious! 10/10 recommend!
Sabrina did a great job taking care of us. It was our first time there. I went with my friend and her kids to check it out. We love the food and had a wonderful time together. It’s right on the river, got to see ducks and pretty scenic views along the way. Would definitely recommend it. 😁
Great place to dance and play pool. Management is awesome and take no tolerance for toxicity
This place is not one I would ever return to. They had no juices for mixed drinks, no top shelf alcohol, bathrooms were awful and dirty, funny thing is there was no one there so you wondered why they were dirty. We were hoping it would be a nice place to dance and listen to some Spanish music. It's not!
It is such a shame excellent location so much potential. The food menu online is not what is available first of all. We decided to give it a try anyways. Our food was way under par. Beans had no flavor and my taco tasted like freezer burn. Waitress was awesome club was nice we were early so no crowd yet. Like I said if you are going here I would eat something before going. Funny thing the manager was eating a plate that I thought looked pretty good and then are plates came out that did not even compare. Wish them luck and hope they get their menu up to a satisfying caliber.
Went on a Tuesday and it wasn't busy. Nice lounge, good music, good food, great Tuesday specials.
Ok so Gotta REAL, parking was WACK, Dude ! And music was pretty Lackluster for, me, anyway. I guess Friday nights r boring there. Now, the ONLY real fun was a guy they almost kicked out!!! He is, thé LIFE OF THE PARTY there !!! Photos added! He is SO SO CUTE & so Down to earth and the Hottest! Please take GREAT CARE of him !!! ¡¡¡ CUÍDEN LO MÚY BIÉN A ÉL !!! 💗💗💗 Oh & our waitress was nice n cool !!!💖
My friends arrived to this club and showed the staff our state ID’s, to which they responded with a harsh denial. Emphasized that our ID’s were fake solely based on the accusation that every last one of us apparently “looked young.” They were incredibly rude, did not give the ID’s a second glance, and were not at all understanding.
Cocktails & craft draft beer served in upbeat, no-frills surrounds featuring a big patio with games.
The taco trucks have great food. Drinks are cold the bar steps, amazing great place to hang out with your friends. Listen to some music chill meet people definitely one of my hotspots.
The owners Mom was very pleasant and very polite. This establishment is very laid back only suggestion is where the people enter into the establishment is the front entrance you constantly have to watch your step because of the dip from the sidewalk and the rail that was covered by a floor mat so you wouldn’t trip over . I saw a few people almost trip ,it’s a safety hazard because of people with walkers or wheelchairs is a problem, the rail that lays on the pavement for the gate to be closed is such an obstacle. Should use the gate by the park side to use as the entrance/exit But other than that it’s a nice place.
Alright, Texas travelers! I was recently in San Antonio, Texas, and had an absolute blast at Rewind—Downtown San Antonio's ultimate throwback spot! If you crave 80's, 90's, and Y2K vibes, this is your destination. Rewind is an immersive bar and dance club that creates a safe space for everyone to party on. The whole experience is powered by nostalgia! The dance floor is incredible, featuring a BASSBOSS sound system and a synchronized light show that truly consumes your senses. But the best part for me? All the vintage arcade cabinets are set to free play—leaving your pocket change at home is the best way to unwind! Located right on Alamo Plaza, it’s super convenient. If you’re looking to Unwind, Rewind, and Party On in San Antonio, this is the place to be. From Texas with ❤️ -april
This is one of THE BEST places to pop in for an afternoon cocktail or have late night drinks with some dancing to the good ol' flashback music of the 80s and 90s! It's like traveling back through time! DJ & Manager, Adrian Martinez, and his crew always make our visits memorable. It's so fun taking friends and family there for the first time. 😎 Private booths available with drink service 🍸 Drink menus are printed on VHS cases 🎮 Free video games & pinball machines 🤩 One-of-a-kind Pac-Man chair (Rad!) Just to name a few fun features! 💥 A special shout-out to Be Kind & Rewind for donating gift cards to our recent charity event benefiting "Dress for Success - San Antonio!" We're your biggest fans! Lively bar featuring cocktails, pool & darts in a funky, low-key setting with a patio.
A really nice dive bar, everyone knows everyone around here to the point that makes you feel that you’re in a family gathering. They have pool tables, darts and lots of everyday specials. Seating area and restrooms are super clean Mariah was the bartender when I was there. She was super attentive and really nice. This is a nice hidden spot around San Antonio airport if you’re around then you must try it out.
I am adamantly for support of local small businesses, especially local dive bars in town—they’re one of the best places to meet some of the best locals. My absolute FAVORITE dive bar in town is the thirsty turtle, hands down! The owners actually own a few more dive bars in town (which I’ve also been to), but the turtle is my go-to. The bar has 4 really great bartenders that I love and trust whether I’m there alone or with a group—Lilly, Morgan, Kat and Welcome (yes, that is his real name). They’re fantastic! Professional, fast, and truly know how to keep control of the bar and patrons. It truly is that little neighborhood bar where you’ll meet some great people, and eventually everyone will know your name. If you ever see me at the bar, stop by and I’ll recommend a couple custom drinks that are fantastic!
Sports-bar trappings meet up with classic arcade games at this kitschy, themed watering hole.
I’ve been here three times. The first time when it fairly opened and the restrooms were clogged and overflowing. Second time, came to play darts and asked for coins to be converted to quarters and were told to use the coin machine 😑 (think about it, get it?) The last time, and this within the past two weeks; no one was waiting at the bar to be served. I saw when the last person requesting a drink got his. I was there standing and smiling and the lady went to one side of the bar to speak to the other lady and a dude that was also helping to serve. I made eye contact, did not want to wave, and they continued to chat. I locked eyes a second time and nodded to come and finally got my drink. Not by the dude who noticed me but by the lady he sent to help. Mind you, he’s not someone who was just stocking as he had served my first drink.
It's a cool place, but the controllers on the arcade machines don't work well. Don't expect to play fighting games with any special moves.
Midsize dance club with DJ nights (from retro to indie electro), drink specials & music videos.
This place was very fun it was my first time there but the music is great I really enjoyed that the most I would definitely go back again ! The parking is kind of limited but it’s not too bad a lot of people dancing which is nice instead of seeing the dance floor empty! Drinks were pretty decent!
This place plays great 80s and 90s music with videos. The crowd is a bit older which is great. Bartenders are excellent. Plenty of restrooms which are somewhat clean sometimes. DJ is not very friendly and does not take requests. Fridays are good, Saturdays are packed.
Moving to San Antonio, I’ve been searching for food that connects me to my Puerto Rican roots—and Bucan Rodeo absolutely delivered. Nestled outside Three Star Bar, their pop-up setup offers chill vibes, shaded patio seating, and the irresistible aroma of something special cooking up. Chef RJ & Mike blend the soulful depth of slow-cooked Texas BBQ with the vibrant flavors of Puerto Rican cuisine in a way that feels both fresh and familiar. I ordered the 1-meat platter with brisket, three tostones, and two sides: arroz con gandules and habichuelas. The brisket was a knockout—perfectly seasoned, smoked, and juicy, with subtle adobo notes that made it melt in my mouth. The tostones and sides hit me with pure nostalgia, reminding me of my mother’s cooking. At $22 for brisket ($18 without), the portions are generous and well worth it. I also tried the lechón pinchos—smoked on a skewer and glazed with sweet BBQ sauce. It was my first time having it this way, and as a fellow Puerto Rican, I can say it lives up to the hype. Huge thanks to Chef RJ & Mike for bringing this fusion of flavors to San Antonio. I’ll definitely be back to explore more of the menu!
We had such a great experience at Three Star Restaurant in San Antonio! The wings were absolutely amazing—definitely some of the best we’ve had. The service was just as impressive; everyone was so attentive and made sure we were comfortable and enjoying our food. We really appreciated the friendly atmosphere and can’t wait to come back for more wings!

While on vacation in San Antonio we definitely had to hit up the famous Coyote Ugly and was not disappointed. Amazing place to visit and just hang out. Definitely recommend for a good time.
A soaring rooftop bar with swanky decor & city views plus a long list of cocktails, wine & beer.
This place is fantastic! The queens are absolutely magical, and the energy is unmatched. The food isn’t the highlight, but the cocktails, service, and atmosphere more than make up for it. Come for the entertainment and the drinks—you’ll have an unforgettable time!
They place is simply amazing. You will find no other place like this. The drinks are amazing!!! Would bring a nice lady to this place. I promise you won't find another place this amazing.
DJs, drag shows & drink specials bring a mixed crowd to this 3-story dance club in a historic venue.
Such a fun club! So many spaces to hang out, great drinks, hot staff, super fun!
So yes...this is a drag gay club, but the music and atmosphere was very neutral. The outside bar and patio had great drinks and a taco vendor. There are two to three levels. Each with their own music styles. Had a fun time.
If I could give this place zero stars, I would. From the moment I walked in, it was downhill. Not exactly the vibe you want when you’re out for a drink. Save yourself the trouble. Go literally anywhere else. This place is a black hole for good times, money, and basic hygiene
Great for the college scene! They even have a bus that will pick you up at UTSA and take you to the Hyde Social Club and back!
The club for all latin music is the place to be. People are friendly with the staff providing good service. Seats are available and dance floor open for enjoyment.
Nice place thank you very much
Small LGBT nightclub featuring live performances, events & dance parties in a lively atmosphere.
This place has no air conditioning and 500+ people packed into one room it was so miserable. I'm truly surprised no one passed out. Floors are uneven and horribly sticky and the whole place smelled bad, not like sweat like pee. Everything was delayed and late I don't know if that's due to the club or the talents management but just something to consider. Luckily all the staff was super nice definitely the one benefit.
So, I made a few new friends at this place, but honestly, the venue was a total disaster. It felt like I was melting in an inferno! They even announced that the AC broke down that day, knowing there was an event happening that night. And then they handed out warm bottles of water. Seriously, I’m never coming back here again! Thank goodness I had a fan!
Lively club offering 2 DJs, indoor/outdoor space & theme nights, plus cocktails & VIP service.
My son went with a friend & was told they were drunk & needed to leave. The bouncer escorted them out but my son & his friend were trying to explain to the bouncers they weren’t drunk they just bumped into a few people cuz my son is blind. They apologized to the people they bumped along the way & the people didn’t seem bothered by it. After they were outside on the stairs & were trying to explain, the bouncers pushed them halfway down. My son then got upset & threw them a water so they beat him even after he was cuffed and unconscious. My son then got arrested and charged with assault on a security office cuz he was trying to defend himself so he is now facing prison time. I bailed him out of jail & took him the ER were they confirmed he still had a concussion over 24 hrs later. He can’t even eat properly cuz he also has broken teeth! I wanted to respect his privacy but also felt I needed to put his story out there.. DO NOT go to this place!!
Does not follow any kind of capacity rules. No air conditioning. I went on Saturday I was not drinking and almost passed out due to the heat inside. No heat, no monitoring how many inside, security just keeps letting everyone in until no more can fit. Instead making sure I was okay multiple staff just told me I have to move away from the entrance despite motioning multiple of them that I was in need of help. Once I cooled down I was able to go home, but I could only imagine how someone who may be in a worse position would be overlooked and unhelped.
Buzzing, trendy indoor/outdoor nightclub offering cocktails, table service, DJs & hookahs.
*Update 03/10/2018 They moved the speakers! There is more room, a better view of the booth, and the sound is still great. Good job Lush! This place has so much potential! The drinks are reasonably priced and I love that they bring in some big EDM Dj's. The talent can be a bit tough to see however due to the large speakers that obstruct the view from a few angles. I think with a good redesign of the layout, bar, dj booth, and tables, this venue could better support the crowd it brings.
Hands down one of the best clubs I've been to in a long time. The atmosphere is great, but fair warning it does get packed! In my eyes that nothing to complain about! If it was empty I wouldn't want to be there! The music is mostly hip-hop with an occasional taste of Latin music, but it really fits the scene well. I normally dress pretty nice and didn't have any issues getting in. Another bonus was the amount of beautiful women here! I believe the drinks were around $8 or $9, some say that's pricey, but truth be told I'm willing to pay that for the experience I get here. I've been to dumpy clubs with $4 drinks and I wasn't comfortable, so I found a place that plays the music I like and it is nice at the same time. I had a great time, but what really set this place apart was the customer service. I ordered bottle service and was so impressed how attentive they were to my needs. Thanks, Liz and Mike for making my time there so memorable! I'll definitely be back.
Visited this club in October 2024 during an private party/event. As a European, I was genuinely impressed by the club’s interior design and the lighting effects. It was a fantastic experience overall. The staff were incredibly friendly, from the security team to the bartenders. I can definitely recommend this place to tourists looking for a great night out. Check out my video for a glimpse of the club’s interior!
We visit this club after Shakira's concert. We have lots of fun, the staff they were very caring, the DJ played very nice music! Drinks pretty good! Affordable prices! Oh, and the lady in the girls's restrooms she have a lot of perfumes! Love her!
