It is such a shame excellent location so much potential. The food menu online is not what is available first of all. We decided to give it a try anyways. Our food was way under par. Beans had no flavor and my taco tasted like freezer burn. Waitress was awesome club was nice we were early so no crowd yet. Like I said if you are going here I would eat something before going. Funny thing the manager was eating a plate that I thought looked pretty good and then are plates came out that did not even compare. Wish them luck and hope they get their menu up to a satisfying caliber.
Went on a Tuesday and it wasn't busy. Nice lounge, good music, good food, great Tuesday specials.
My experience at Mala Fama was very enthusiastic and outgoing. I am very, very satisfied with the bartender Nevaeh. She was very good at making any drinks that I asked for and very good at mixing things. I’m also very pleased with the kitchen staff and I would very very much go back in any day in any base at any time that I visit San Antonio
If you're in the River Walk area and you're looking for a place for a quick bite and a nice atmosphere for a drink that has a good vibe to it, I really think you should check out this place. The service was really good at the bar , And they had delicious food. I went for the asada tacos And the five dollar margarita Which hit the spot ! I do love the atmosphere of this restaurant and bar. Great location on the river walk With an outdoor seating area that faces the river walk And a fun atmosphere inside.
I had an amazing experience at this gem right on the San Antonio River Walk! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with beautiful views of the river and a vibe that strikes the perfect balance between relaxed and lively. The service was outstanding — friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful with recommendations. The food was fresh and flavorful; I highly recommend the the mexican burger or mexican hot dogs — absolutely delicious! The drinks were equally impressive. Their craft cocktails are top-notch, and they have a great selection of local beers and margaritas. Whether you’re visiting from out of town or a local looking for a great night out, this spot delivers. Perfect for date night, group outings, or just grabbing a drink while enjoying the riverfront views. I’ll definitely be back
