The bartender Izzy kept all my money after paying with a $50 for two drinks. I was told it's the owners daughter so, not to make a big deal. This place is super pretentious. Edit: The owners response says it all. Add rude and classless. They're too trashy to pretentious. Only old people and nerds hang out there anyways. I bet they were all bullied in school so they act like some inside clique for losers who won't get served at a real bar. And the bathroom is disgusting.
The Pimento Cheese is very good and the mini corn dogs are as well. The drinks are always on point and they believe in service with a smile. The vibe is incomparable to anything I can think of. Feels like you're in a movie when you're at Hemingways, it's got it's whole own panache.
This is one of the best bars in Waco. It's always a first recommendation. It's a total vibe. The staff are all wonderful. The community is amazing too. They have excellent selections from rail to top shelf. Whether your solo or with friends its a fantastic atmosphere for sharing drinks and conversation. Always a vibe. Cheers!🧊🍻🥂🍹🍸
