Aces High Saloon is a gem. Awesome staff, great ambiance. Super metal - the place is adorned with memorabilia from all the legends. Perfect dive bar for great memories.
Great dive type bar with out being to divey. Great bands and when when they are busy it's not hard to get a drink, never have to wait to long. Pool table, pinball. Only downside is parking. Pretty limited, mostly street parking. Decent prices on drinks and food as well. Cover at the door is cash only but they take cards at the bar.
This place is crushing it. From the best cocktail design we've seen in years to a well curated menu of items. The french onion soup, shrimp & grits, and Nashville chicken sandwich were all stellar. Perfectly balanced and having a new unique riff on originals. The blood orange creme brulee was the perfect finish. Finally, a creme brulee that was chilled and smooth. Excellent restaurant with fantastic service.
Felt is such a well run, well executed bar/restaurant. The food is unique, flavorful, and fun. The wine selection is always so much better than other restaurants in SLC. Last night we got the pretzel bites- always a solid choice, shrimp ceviche, and swordfish. Highly highly recommend the swordfish. It was so fresh, well seasoned, and garnished. Not pictured, but a must get- the Brussel sprouts! So crisp and flavorful. The still Rose is the best wine I’ve had in a long time. Come check out this incredible place! Pictured- the one and only Chef Herbert!
Awesome atmosphere, friendly and talented staff! Kennedy is a genuine soul and has created a beautiful environment for artists to express their creativity! 100% of the door covers go to the artists! I’ve been in about 5 times since they opened in June, and it was pretty slow then but has recently been getting busier. Will definitely be coming back soon!!!
BEST CLUB IN SLC Been here a few time with my girlfriend. Honestly the only club we will go to at this point. Very talented performers and everyone is friendly. If you’re going out as a couple or just appreciate the art of pole/seductive dancing with a chill atmosphere, this the place. Aaliyah, Molly and Cupcake performed last night, all amazing and beautiful women.
What a find! We were looking for places to have a late dinner on our last night in Salt Lake City and came across Franklin Ave Cocktails and Kitchen. The atmosphere was welcoming and elegant in an understated way, kind of like a nice speakeasy with big windows. The drinks were ok. The food, however, was outstanding. The two of us shared three appetizers and a main dish, and we were stuffed. We focused on summer fare - squashes and sugar snap peas - and the duck confit and miso cod. They were all really good, with intense and complex flavor combinations, and it was hard to pick a favorite. And if you've ever cooked summer squash, you know that intense flavor is not the strong suit of this vegetable. Next time we visit SLC, we'll definitely be back!
Outstanding restaurant, my wife and I eat here at least twice a month! Great staff, creative + rotating specials, and amazing cocktails! This, plus the vibe makes this one of the best restaurants in Utah.
Snug bar serving imaginative craft cocktails & elevated bar bites in a hip, minimalist space.
Loved this place. The atmosphere was bright and comfortable, the drinks were well balanced and imaginative. We tried the 6 different featured cocktails. I would go both to have these again and try new items they featured. We sat inside but there was also a lovely patio available. Didn't try snacks or food from next door, but we could have ordered from Bar Nohm directly from our table starting when it opened at 5 pm. Angled street parking was available right outside.
I had the best time here! Sam was our bartender, and honestly, he made the entire experience unforgettable. It’s rare to see someone so passionate and genuinely excited about what they do. His knowledge of spirits, cocktails, and technique is astonishing—but even more impressive is how he brings it all to life with such energy and creativity. He didn’t just make drinks—he created a whole experience. I found myself actually wanting to learn more about different liquors and flavor pairings just from watching him in action. That kind of enthusiasm is contagious, and I really appreciated it. This isn’t just a place where you grab a drink and go. It’s a bar where you connect—with the people around you, with the vibe, and with the craft behind the cocktails. I would 100% come back. If you’re lucky enough to be served by Sam, you’re in for something special.
Cozy pub with elegant, vintage decor that offers a wide range of craft beers & haute pub grub.
The beer here is great! Decent price for a pint! The customer service is excellent here! Our bartender gave us free samples of the beer and made sure our beer was poured the way we wanted! He was friendly, chatty and informative! Definitely worth checking out! The vibe here is dark, chill, cozy and calm! The decor is unique, it’s on a busy street of downtown salt lake and has quite the charm to it! Will be back soon!
Chill neighborhood bar, many many options - tap, canned, bottled. Imported and local beers, wine, and whiskey! The bartender Barry was so friendly and patient with introducing local beers. There's a cool ice bar to keep your drink cold. The bar is spacious, dimly lit but so home-y. It's got character.
Lively venue offering a diverse menu of pub grub, import drafts & cocktails, plus TVs & live music.
Loved that there are so many vegan options! The vegan wings were good. The ‘angry korean’ wings weren’t as spicy as we were hoping for. But still tasty. I’d order again. The cheesy fries were okay, but wish they offered more toppings to make it a true loaded fries. I don’t think I’d order those again. I want to try the loaded baked potato next time. Inside smelled like smoke, so if anyone has sensitivities to the smell, this may not be the location for you.
Came here for brunch with the girls. One of them frequently visits and loves it so we were all excited to try. Sadly we didn’t have the greatest service. It was hard to get our waitress to even listen to us (ordered drinks and when another person in our party arrived she asked for our orders again as if we did place an order 5mins prior). She didn’t bring our drinks unless we flagged her down. All the other employees were awesome and super friendly. The food wasn’t great. I ordered avocado toast (not hard to mess up) and it had the end pit inside which was fun to bit into. The bacon was overly cooked and the toast was almost burnt. The eggs were delicious. I’m hoping to try them again in the future but it won’t be soon.
Late-night concert venue featuring cocktails & nightly live performances in an intimate interior.
Great, small, and intimate little venue. Went for the Traitors heavy metal show, and there was a great turnout! Bathrooms are nice, and bartender was good when you couldn't hear, lol 😆
No frills spot for the best in music in an intimate setting. Significantly improved over the years. If you want an up close experience without the fight of a big crowd or deafening sound levels, this is one of the best places to catch a show. Bathrooms are recently refreshed and the sound in this place is amazing! State of the art sound system. And amazing 21+ venue.
Craft drinks & global small plates are served in an intimate setting with live music.
Wonderful charming bar. Went at 11 PM on a Monday. Food is good, nothing spectacular. This is a bar afterall. Mixed drinks are great. Had live music and a great atmosphere. Enjoyed my time.
We really enjoyed the bar and had great service. The food was good and the drinks were great. The atmosphere was good with great vibe. We will return if ever in Salt Lake City. My plan was to give 5 stars but upon review of my receipt, we had a 3% charge for live music. While we noticed someone setting up, there was no live music while we were there nor was it close to starting. For this we deducted one star. This is clearly a management/owner decision. Charging for services not provided is wrong.
TV-filled sports bar serving beers, cocktails & pub grub in a buzzy space with live music & trivia.
Delicious vegan options, really well made and the flavor profiles were outstanding. The Avocado egg rolls and jalapeño blackberry sauce were perfection! And the wings were really tasty with a great texture.
I got to experience the Generation's Band! OMG!!! WHAT A GREAT YIME!!! food is great, the service awesome! But the entertainment!!! The band was so captivating with there set list and the stars on stage. The girls are exquisite and the guys make sure they have all the backing to make them shine. Which makes them shine as well!!! Win Win situation!!! Go see Generations and find out for yourself what you've been missing.
I stopped at Van Ryder in Salt Lake City, a rooftop bar and restaurant, and the atmosphere really pulled it all together. Sitting up there with the view of the city and the Delta Center across the way made the whole place feel elegant and relaxed at the same time. I ordered the BYO Pork Carnitas, which came with smoked carnitas, grandma’s secret salsa, smashed avocado, and warm corn tortillas with limes. The plate was simple, but that actually made it feel more refined. The carnitas were moist, full of flavor, and really good. The other ingredients were straightforward but done right. Nothing fancy, nothing over the top, just solid and tasty. If I had one note, it is that the staff could have been a little more attentive. That aside, the food, the view, and the atmosphere worked really well together. It was a good experience and definitely a solid choice. Rating: 4 out of 5. Delicious carnitas, beautiful rooftop setting, worth checking out.
very glad we popped into this rooftop bar. We came for the sunset, but it was a little overcast… still beautiful setting! The cocktails were handcrafted, so did it take a little while but that is to be expected for this caliber of drink. we did not make a reservation, but we were able to find a seat outside that was accommodating for our party. Probably the worst part of visiting this Bar was closing out our tab … since the cocktails took so much crafting we did have to wait in line to close out. It would’ve been nice if there was a bar back or someone available just to close out tabs. I wanna say our group waited at least 30 minutes to do so. Highly recommend if you’re in the area. A very central location and a really great vibe!
All time favorite bar! Amazing atmosphere, wonderful and friendly staff, great music, I could go on. I always feel safe and at home here! Perfect place to go dancing on the weekend and playing some pool to live music on the week nights. Shout out to Wes at the front door for always giving a warm welcome!
My favorite bar! The staff is so lovely and always makes me feel safe! Whenever I’ve had issues with creepy men they are on top of handling the situation! Every bar tender is so friendly and make the best cocktails I’ve ever had! The door staff is so on top of it all and do a great job spotting fakes and keeping underage weirdos out. The GM Rye is one of the kindest men I’ve ever met, no doubt in my mind he’d give me the shirt off his back if I asked! I come here perhaps too much but it’s hard not to when they only hire the best of the best!
Gastropub serving American eats & cocktails in a buzzy space with live music, TVs & Downtown views.
This place has an awesome vibe, especially if you’re into live music — they regularly have free shows out on the patio. The spacious outdoor seating is a highlight, with both street-level and balcony options that give you a great view and atmosphere. It’s a fun spot to dance on the weekends and always has good energy. The food isn’t anything special — just your standard bar fare — but it hits the spot if you’re there mainly for the drinks and entertainment. Definitely worth checking out for a fun night out!
Food Quality: 3/5 Service: 5/5 Cleanliness: 5/5 Value: 5/5 Gracie’s is first and foremost, a bar with decent drinks at reasonable prices. Their food, however, was much left to be desired. A bunch of girls and I came for Trivia night and it was overall, a pretty good night. I split a garlic burger and salad with my sister and I can’t say it was something I recommend to order. The burger didn’t have any garlic or salt flavorings and the sweet potato French fries were soggy and undercooked. The salad came with butter (which I’m guess was for a roll that we didn’t have) and was soggy by the time it was served to us. Others on our table ordered the jackfruit tacos, chicken salad and the flatbread, all with bland taste. The staff were nice and welcoming and the bar was clean, but I probably won’t be back for the food.
This place is so much fun! Friendly staff and great mix of Latin music! Regeton , salsa, literally everything . I will most definitely be back!
DJ is awful… what a waste of gas
Love the new vibes here since they changed ownership and reopened in July!! Love the fish bowls and the fact that you can get real bottle service if you order champagne! Also love that there are three different clubs with different music in each one now so you can bounce around! Plus all the workers are good looking, nice and hard working too! Everything is just way better at this club now! We got a custom marquee sign with our table so it was really fun!! Would highly recommend booking a table here! They also have a guest list you can get on so that you can get in free!
last 3 times i’ve tried to hit this club it’s always dead. was out with about 10 friends last night and decided to give it another try, but were extremely disappointed. we had barely gotten inside which we all paid for entrance, not cheap either. we’re not even 10 minutes in and we all had to leave cause they kicked out one of our guys who was leaning on the stage. tried to ask for a refund since we had barely walked in and were denied. mind you we were HALF their crowd ! what ?! no wonder yall added curtains so no one can see how ass it is
Bi-level nightclub (18 & up) featuring diverse dance music, '80s nights & designated fetish parties.
I’ve been to this club a few times now, and overall, I’d say it’s just okay—definitely not for everyone. While I went of my own accord, I often found the atmosphere a bit unsettling and somewhat cliquish, which left me feeling out of place more often than not. The music was alright—while not exactly my cup of tea, I could still find some songs to enjoy. But when you add up the overall vibe, the cliques, and the questionable service, the experience wasn’t what I’d hope for from a night out. In short: not the worst place, but not somewhere I’d personally recommend unless you already fit into the crowd they cater to.
I had a lot of fun actually but it is not what I was expecting. I was a 18+ person so I went upstairs where they didn’t have a DJ and just played a playlist but it was still lit. But there’s a lot of weirdos that kinda scared me. But still lots and lots of memories and fun.
Cavernous venue with a retractable roof features DJ dance parties with high-tech lighting & sound.
SKY SLC is one of the best nightclubs in Salt Lake City for electronic music lovers! The vibe here is always energetic, with great DJ performances and an awesome crowd. The sound system is top-notch—crisp, powerful, and perfect for dancing all night. The bar has a solid selection of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, so there’s something for everyone. Plus, the bathrooms are surprisingly clean and well-maintained, which is always a big plus in a club. If you're into electronic music and a fun, welcoming atmosphere, SKY SLC is a must-visit. Recommend!
This place was packed! The bathrooms were clean the security and staff were courteous and professional. There was water and cups available. Drinks were expensive, $10 a shot but rooftop and simpcity are worth the night out. Free before 10 , $20 cover after
Buzzing, cool nightclub offering Latin music nights, cocktails & bottle service.
Ibiza Lounge offers a fun and laid-back atmosphere with a unique blend of Latin vibes and a sports bar feel. I stopped in for a beer and an appetizer and was pleased to find the prices quite reasonable for the Salt Lake City area. The music created an energetic backdrop, making it a great spot to unwind and catch a game. Definitely worth checking out!
It's was such a fun vibe, my 1st time, very polite bar staff. They were taking photos & surprised us with a selection in nice frames you could buy for a reasonable price. We want to back again tonight.
