Highly recommend, fantastic craft cocktails and the most Devine appetizers and main courses. This is must go see & eat … the boutique also has unique gifts and jewelry. 10 out of 10 hands down experience.
This was the most pleasant and unique experience I’ve had in a very long time. My friends and I enjoyed every part of the boutique and the bistro. We will frequent this establishment!
Visiting from Florida this week and have had the pleasure of visiting The Hive. The atmosphere is always inviting and the food is superb! On this trip, I enjoyed the deliciously fresh Grilled Chicken Caprese for lunch and the refreshing Burrata & Marinated Tomato salad for dinner. I will be back today for more delicious options. Thank you to your staff and management team for always taking such good care of your patrons!
I absolutely love Hive 435! Their food is excellent, the variety of drinks available is amazing, they have fun activities there and the service has always been top notch. A big shout out to Vanessa who often serves me, for remembering me and even remembering what I like to drink! She is friendly and efficient as well. Check out the super fun paint nights by Ash each week too. You get to go home with a cool piece of art while you enjoy the incredible truffle pizza or the fresh and tasty bruschettas. You will probably luck out and get Vanessa as your server too!
Art-filled eatery serving eclectic Southwestern cuisine, fine wine & cocktails in a cozy atmosphere.
Walking into Painted Pony in St. George felt like teleporting onto the set of a spaghetti dish, directed by Salvador Dalí. Outside, a life sized chef statue with a smirk that screamed “I know where the bodies are buried” while pointing at the French Onion Soup sign like it was a coded warning. Inside, the walls were alive, portraits of strange singers with Medusa looking red hair and wine sniffing men with purple lightning leaking from their scalps, a gallery of spirits trapped between entrees. Then the food started and reality wobbled. Baked Brie arrived in a molten black cauldron, bubbling like a portal to another timeline; the crostini were charred planks from a haunted shipwreck, and every bite was equal parts buttery luxury and apocalyptic omen. Don’t forget about the Bacon Wrapped Almond Stuffed Dates? Forget it. Those things tasted like a shotgun wedding between a devil’s candy shop and a rodeo concession stand; sweet, smoky, salty, crunchy…I swear one blinked at me before I ate it. And then…the mains. The Grilled Ribeye didn’t just sit there; it pulsed. It breathed. The microgreens quivered like they were trying to crawl off the plate. The Bison Tenderloin was less a dish and more a ritual, juicy and tender, yes, but halfway through my bite I heard the low rumble of distant hooves and felt a spectral buffalo snort on the back of my neck. The mac and cheese glowed with an orange radiance like molten iron. The risotto’s surface swirled on its own, whispering in brussels sprouts tongues! Compared to Buca di Beppo, which is basically an overcaffeinated Nonna stuffing you into a meatball coma under flickering Christmas lights, Painted Pony is a mirage of the Wild West after dark! Seductive, unhinged, and possessed. Buca fills your stomach; Painted Pony opens a third eye in it. This isn’t dinner. It’s an interdimensional cattle drive, and the bison spirits are leading you home.
A must-try in St. George! My family and I make sure to visit this place whenever we are passing through the city. Everything we have gotten here has been high-quality, delicious, and reasonably priced. We ordered off the lunch menu last time, with pictures attached. The crab cake appetizer was probably the best crab cake I have ever had! I loved the fruit garnishing. The cured salmon sandwich tasted almost like a poke bowl in a sandwich, just as the waiter described. It was light and refreshing, and the flavors were very well executed. I hope to visit many times again!
I love the breakfast here. The Zion bowl is the best. This is just a hidden gem here in St George. It takes some time for your homemade meal to be served up but it’s well worth the wait. The burgers are awesome as well, as you would expect. Great place to take the family to eat.
I went to Blues Katz for the first time just last week and I cannot recommend it enough! The staff is amazing, the atmosphere is wonderful, the drinks were perfection, seriously everything was great. Will be a regular here so come see me!
Comfy, storied hangout with a lofty feel serving burgers & other pub grub along with regional beers.
Wanted to continue to support some local businesses while we are travelling to Zion. Stopped at George's and ordered the Turkey Club, Reuben, 2x Roast Beef Dips and the Buttermilk Chicken. Everything was tasty except the chicken wasn't very good. It wasn't at all crispy. All came with fries which were fresh and crispy. Service was great the food came quickly and everyone was friendly. Parking can be a bit if a challenge especially of you drive a larger vehicle. Overall a good experience
Wanted a smaller meal so I could also enjoy a bit of dessert. My waitress, Tori, was very helpful with her suggestions. Had strawberry rhubarb "pie" for dessert. It was served in a dessert cup, very warm. It was wonderful. My salmon slider sandwiches were delicious. So many choices to consider, regular menu items and specials. The atmosphere is quite pleasant, with old photos on display as well as two videos of several old photographs being shown simultaneously. Nice place to enjoy a drink with your meal, family and friends.
What a fun and unexpected find! Spiritual is a hidden speakeasy tucked away in a town you’d never expect to have one and that’s what makes it even better. From the moment you ring the doorbell and the little slot opens “old-school” style to check if you’re in the know, you realize this is going to be something special. The vibe inside is intimate and effortlessly cool; low lighting, creative cocktails, and a soundtrack that fits the mood just right. The bartenders are talented and personable, crafting drinks that are as fun as the experience itself. It’s the kind of place that makes you forget you’re in southern Utah for a bit; a perfect blend of mystery, style, and charm. If you’re looking for something unique, Spiritual delivers that “hidden-in-plain-sight” magic.
In the heart of downtown St George, in Ancestor Square, there is a "Speakeasy"....well not really but being at Spiritual feels like you've stepped into a plush and "religious" experience. Forgive all the tongue in cheek responses here... Spiritual is a very DIFFERENT kind of bar, the drinks are all mostly modeled after a time when having YOUR drink meant the bartender needed to know more than pouring a shot, and pressing a button on a soda gun. Little details down to the size of ICE Cubes, the use of Mint, the presentation of the glasses are all there. The free nuts and popcorn and pretzels are a nuce touch as is the non alcoholic seltzer drink that was made at our table complements of the house! All these things make you feel like you're at an establishment for grown ups not a college meat market and it was GENUINELY REFRESHING. The decor is hard to explain as its part of the experience from Gothic Gold and Bronze Guilded Mirrors to a wall of stone crosses, the over stuffed Gothic seating which is more couch and chairs than tables designed for maximum occupancy..... the feel is that I'm in a secret hideaway that only the "cool people" know about. Upstairs depending on the night is an area for dancing and a DJ as well as a second bar, the feeling is run and relaxed and feels intimate. I cannot recommend this bar enough because this place is a diamond in the rough among the Southern Utah Area and should be protected at all costs. The Drink Menu is very detailed and there is a bar Bible page so even if you want to try something you've only heard about in the movies this place can deliver. 10 out of 10... I HIGHLY recommend!
Beautiful bar renovated in a historic firehouse built in 1918. There a dance floor and live music. Amazing house crafted beers for $4 a pint 😍😍😍 the decor is beautiful to say the least, and the staff is very friendly. You must be 21 to enter, so no need to worry about kids.
First time in this bar. Love the atmosphere, the crew, the food; and of course the beer and cocktails. Terrific! Y'all should try it out!
The arrachera sauce on the carrots was my personal mouth watering favorite. The restaurant provided a stunning ambience. Cherry on top, the owner Jason took the time, after getting wind of our intrigue of the specific sauces, to come to our table personally to discuss and share the kitchen’s secret. And he most certainly didn’t stop there. He Invited us to try an off the menu item his dessert chef was currently working on. We soon discovered they are working towards creating a gluten free menu for those that would want or need such careful preparation of food!
The best place in St George! The biscuits are huge and flaky / fluffy! You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu! The dessert is amazing! Really good vegan and gluten free options. It’s a must stop!
Laid-back haunt offering a variety of beers & comfort eats, plus karaoke, DJs & dancing.
Seems like a theme of toxic service and defending their poor service in order to grow their business (just check the other low ratings). However maybe focus on quality service and being friendly, especially with regulars. Last night witnessed a woman waitress in her mid 40s with blonde hair attacking a regular after he barely sat down to play pool demanding he buy a beer and give her a tip. Very disrespectful and the customer did agree to buy a beer but why would he tip someone yelling and berating him when he barely arrived. Tips are earned not demanded. I’ve never seen such insane lack of customer service. If they’re having such issues with their business, reconsider the free pool on Sundays and Mondays and particularly how you treat customers. Customer stayed calm after multiple attacks from this crazed woman and only after she was forcing him to leave did he snap back. Wow just wow. Not only will I never come here but will make it be known this place deserves to be run out of business if they keep people like her as leaders. The bouncer said he’s sorry and there’s nothing he can do because she’s the boss. Guess that type of leadership will get its karmic return. Sad for the good people that work there.
Good dive bar. Nothing too fancy or luxurious. Staff has always been kind to me and my friends, drinks are reasonably priced, and the venue has both an interior and small exterior section that is useful. Recommend
FATHER'S DAY BRUNCH. We had a reservation and so did 2 other large groups of 10+. They ran out of biscuits &gravy at 11am?! Everything was overcooked. I waited for everyone to get food to point out my Benedict was not poached-it was hard cooked. Waitress asked what poached is. Anyway it was a very disappointing experience. I've been here for dinner several times and brunch at least twice. Today was terrible.
Everything was delicious, and the staff was great. The only minor issue was at sunset the sun began to shine into the the dining room and two of our party had the sun in their eyes, we adjusted to try and block it. The staff noticed and closed a screen that blocked it once they noticed it.
