Retro-styled bar taps 21 craft beers paired with cheese boards & grilled cheese sandwiches.
To me, a hidden gem. A very cool place to hang out and enjoy some great draft beers you probably never had anywhere else. 21 on tap, and you get to enjoy them in some pretty cool glasses. Very nice light menu as well with different options. This is great for a night out or a place to have a nice bite with a date. And if you go there is a great pizza and bakery right next door. Oh and both times I was here the service was above and beyond. If you haven't been then get here.
One night back in town, decided to stop by an old favorite. Did not disappoint; great food, great bier, and great service again after a couple of years. Thanks, Erin! Again the Sump was great, try to find some Last Buffalo by Funky Buddha for some FL love.
Describing this place in one word....AWESOME!!! Chris the bartender greeted and seated us as soon as we walked in. The restaurant has a cool ambiance and nice decor. I order the chowder (appetizer) and the Beet pasta. I've never heard of it, so I HAD to try and I was not disappointed. 🔥🔥🔥 My wife had a scallop dish that I don't remember the name of, but it was delicious. I've never had scallops cooked as delicious delicate as these were. Definitely stop in if you have the chance! Cheers!
We were in visiting family and found 508 Craft House by searching for best cocktail bar in Norfolk. The cocktail list was amazing, I wish I could have tried more! Everyone in our group enjoyed their meals. I got the Birria Mushroom Pappardelle. Not to be dramatic, but it was the best meal I’ve ever had, like final meal/last wishes worthy. We will definitely be back!
9/13/25 - very cute spot and love the aesthetic. There is a bit of parking next to the place but can find street parking as well. They have inside and outside seating. Inside is pretty small and more so for 1-4 people. Outside seating you could seat a little more. You order at the register and then they bring the food out to you. I got the waffle plate. My friends got the chicken and waffles and another got the appetizer loaded fries. I got the I heart t rex drink, and my friends got the mocktail drink that looked like a mojito. Another one got the ginger beer. The food was pretty good. My waffle was cooked just right, just enough brown on it. However some of my friends were not and still soft. Some of my friends got a larger size of chicken than others, but they all said it was delicious. You can also get hot honey on the side with your dish. The fries were really good as well. I also enjoyed the drink but be mindful as to how small it is. I wish it was a little bit bigger. Overall really enjoyed everything and the service was pretty quick with checking out table and grabbing out empty dishes.
What a great spot! Friendly staff and excellent food. I got the triple pickle chicken sandwich which was the best chicken sandwich I've ever eaten. My husband also enjoyed his chicken and waffles. He commented more than once that the chicken was perfectly cooked. He was also happy that the hot sauce actually had some real heat. We can't wait to return and try more things!!
Shepherd's pie, beer & live music offered in a refined tavern with imported Irish furnishings.
The atmosphere here is boisterous and jolly! When full of people it’s lively and full of cheer, I’m a sailor so I spend my time on a ship and this was just relaxing to be in such a positive space. The servers were great, just smiling and laughing and you felt like you were relaxed and happy from the welcoming energy of the staff. Lastly the food was well seasoned and spiced and just heavenly for a navy man!
We dinned alfresco and the weather was perfect. I ordered the fish and chips and it was amongst the best I have ever had. Down side to our visit one of us ordered bangers and mash, unfortunately they were out of bangers. I was told their alternative item ordered was suitable and good. Our server Liz was attentive and friendly. If you enjoy Irish pub fair this place is perfect.
I found this "Amazing", Brewery in Norfolk, VA called The Veil and Only You Restaurant amazing services. The restaurant had 3 levels ✨️The inside Aesthetics were very nice. The 1st floor was a beer brewery, 2nd floor was chic and cozy lounge with a bar dim and romantic. The 3rd floor had a live DJ, a bar and seating to lounge around and eat. Overall, the place was very nice.☺️
Experienced ONLY YOU LOUNGE @ Veil on the 3rd floor & the two entrees being highlighted were AWESOME!! The Short Rib Pappardelle with red pepper coulis topped with parmesan. The Short rib was so flavorful and tender. As was the Hanger Steak with Creamed Kale and Mushrooms. The cream sauce was delicious. The vibe & music was of a cool, moody lounge as the music perfectly switched between slow jam, tribal house, & smooth funk!!! Highly recommended and can't wait to return for another chill meal!!
Great Atmosphere & Service! We had a really nice experience at Grain Restaurant. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff were super attentive and friendly throughout the night. One of the highlights is definitely the rooftop seating – it adds so much charm and enjoyment to the whole experience. Loved the views and the vibe up there! The valet parking was also a big plus, making everything much easier from the start. The food was delicious, and we truly enjoyed every bite. We’ll definitely be coming back again soon. Highly recommended!
Went for lunch, very busy! Everything tasted good except for the loaded smashed potato, if you’re not a beer cheese fan, you won’t like it. Also, our appetizers came out and the meals 2 minutes later. I absolutely hate when restaurants do this, seems like they’re rushing you. Appetizers should come around the same time as the drinks, and food well after.
Old tap handles & a sunburst logo adorn this venue known for its beer selection, music & bar food.
I didn't eat but the drinks were cheap and the live music was amazing. Cool spot, will visit again.
Amazing little spot for a punk show. It was awesome just to see the scene as well as the plethora of awesome talent that played that night. Didn't order any food, so I really can't comment on any of that. Otherwise getting in with the doors and finding a place to post up for the show was easy as jam-packed as it really was!
Cocktails & eclectic American fare served in a swanky piano lounge with art deco furnishings.
We visited this charming and cozy spot during Norfolk Restaurant Week. The ambiance was warm and inviting, and although the space is small, the layout was well-designed to feel comfortable and not cramped. With a reservation in place, we were seated immediately. Our server, Ashley, explained that all courses are ordered at once and food may take up to 45 minutes to arrive. We ordered from the preset menu, and appetizers arrived in about 15 minutes. The fresh salad and creamy crab bisque stood out—the bisque was rich and full of lump crab meat. For the second course, we tried the fried shrimp and crab mac and cheese. The shrimp were good, but the mac and cheese lacked seasoning and felt a bit disjointed. The buffalo chicken dip was a pleasant surprise—flavorful with perfectly toasted pita bread. For entrees, the market-fresh mahi mahi was cooked well but under-seasoned. The rice pilaf was slightly undercooked and needed more sauce to tie the dish together. The bone-in pork chop was just okay and also could have used more flavor or a sauce to elevate it. The wait for entrees was close to an hour, which was longer than expected. Overall, the food was decent, but seasoning and presentation could use more attention. Note: An 18% service charge is automatically added to the bill. If you go, definitely try the strawberry basil lemonade—it was light, refreshing, and the highlight of the meal.
We were so looking forward to celebrating our first anniversary here and it did not disappoint! The atmosphere is beautiful and authentic without being over the top. Our server Tony was upbeat, engaging, and incredibly knowledgeable. He was very attentive and gave great suggestions. As a vegan I LOVED the beyond meatloaf and my boyfriend had the short rib- he raved even about the side of carrots. Cocktails were impeccable- love that the menu was crafted to explore that era. Our favorites were the Vesper and the Dr. Fords Manhattan. Highly recommend!!
Upscale comfort fare with a Southern spin joins Belgian ales & craft drinks in a dark-wood space.
Randomly came here for trivia night, pleasantly surprised by our experience. We didn’t know anything about this place but decided to try it out. We ordered a few things off happy hour menu and they came out better and more than we expected! Would definitely come back again!
Well on Thursday they have a fantastic burger special with fries and the burger is off the hook. Also the mac and cheese is fantastic. And they also have a pool table which is cool. And a lot of different craft beers it looks like as well. I was so darn hungry that I from traveling that I forgot to take pictures of the food but it was well presented in delicious.
This place was wack for an entrance fee of 40$. Everyone stood around like a high school prom too scared to dance. The DJ wouldn't mix songs properly, we couldn't even dance cause he kept abruptly switching songs. The bathrooms were the worst. The toilets didn't even have toilet seats and then they advertised an afterparty for another entrance fee of 25$.
This place is a waste of time , paid $20 for myself . Spend over $100 in drinks and they had bugs in them . Needs to be shut down or under new management. Will never come here again .
PBR has a great the atmosphere and fantastic vibe, but one small little hiccup ruined the night for me and possibly ruined a lady's night that I went with as well. I was asked to order four cups water for one close friend and three other individuals I met that night. I went to the bar that's half outside half inside. One of the bartenders took my order and passed it along to another bartender. Once I saw that, I turned around to talk to a friend, waiting for my order. not too long after, the bartender called me over for my order. I received four full cups of clear liquid. Once I went back, I gave it out to the people I met that night. One of the ladies I was with almost spit out their drink and said it was vodka. I tasted it and confirmed it tasted like vodka mixed with water. thankfully the friend who needed the water, received just water. But, to think she might've drunk a cup full of vodka really rubbed me off the wrong way. The bartender apologized for the inconvenience, but now I have the thought in my mind that I might have possibly harmed a friend based off of a careless bartender mistake. other than that, PBR is a great place but watch out for possible mistaken orders due to the amount of traffic of the place.
Great vibe, perfect spot for a night out in time. The bull and the vibe around it makes it great. Also the fact so much people are dancing is amazing
Lively country-western spot for classic American eats & a full bar with dance lessons & billiards.
Fun place for line dancing and country music. Always a good crowd when I visit. Eclectic mix of people having a good time. You'll see young people there as well as older folks. Plenty of staff I have never seen any shenanigans. Everybody is just there to have a good time. The only complaint I have is a small cup is 4 bucks with one free refill. Just seemed like a lot to me. I know a lot of bars and clubs that will give designated drivers free soda. However, I wasn't looking for anything free, but come on, it seems a little outrageous. On the other hand, the fries and chicken tenders are delicious.
I find myself coming back weekend after weekend to dance. I've never had an issue at this place at all. Other regulars have been really nice and do introduce themselves creating a small community. I always recommend this bar especially for beginners learning to dance, please show to the lessons from 6pm-8pm to get comfortable on the dance floor and break out of your shell. Hope to see y'all there!
Spacious bi-level pub with modern decor, featuring pub grub, tap brews, live music & rooftop seats.
Good sizes restaurant with a private room for your party, plenty of TVs to watch sports and if the weather is permitting open air environment. The food was good but the menu is fairly limited and nothing really jumps off the menu at you. Needless to say that doesn’t promote a strong memorable status. The drinks were tasty however I ordered a rum and Coke and for the life of me I don’t understand why you would take the liberties to turn that into a captainand Coke.
Dined here last week and I enjoyed myself. I ordered the shrimp and grits, she crab soup, and a margarita. Hands down one of the best flavored shrimp n grits and the hottest shrimp n grits I’ve ever had( temperature wise which was amazing ). Only thing I would suggest to the shrimp n grits that I’m accustomed to is having the onions, peppers, and andouille sausages in there, even if it’s an added cost. The she crab was flavored well but was cold and I mean cold. I didn’t send it back because I feared it just being microwaved and the thoughts that go through my mind when sending food back, so I ate a couple bites and put to the side. It took the server a little over 10mins to acknowledge me when it was no more than 4 tables in the restaurant. A simple hello I’ll be with you could have made a big difference in my review. Once greeted by the waitress she was very friendly and checked on me several times to make sure my margarita was good and that I enjoyed my food as well. Now I didn’t understand how you call yourself Blue Moon Taphouse and didn’t have anymore Blue Moon which is like Starbucks not having any coffee. That was a little surprising as being a Director of Food and Beverage for a Marriott property at the oceanfront, management not recognizing par levels for weekend service( Unless Chesbay inventory was depleted )but that was a little disappointing. All in all I would return again as I did in fact enjoy my food.
Easygoing taphouse featuring craft brews & pub food, plus games in a modern interior on 2 levels.
The service was attentive. Requested food suggestion from the bartender...great suggestion. Fried Chicken Cordon Blue was spot on and perfect. Onion rings were fresh and hot. Beer was cold and refreshing. Free Verse Hazy IPA 💕
My grown son took me out one night for some drinks and Tap It is where we went. Now don't get me wrong, the place was attractive and clean, the employees were pleasant and quick to take care of anything you needed, but some of the excitement may have just been the fact that I was out with my older son. I did like it though, they had a great selection of beers and other drinks and food and I was very happy there. If you haven't been, please give it a shot, I'm sure you'll find yourself very pleased!
Do not go here. The place is always empty and they charge way too much to get in. Their drinks are expensive and the staff is extremely rude and abusive, and they will not refund your money after you go ahead and only see three people on the dance floor at midnight 1 o’clock in the morning. However, if the manager Refund my money I’ll take this down
It advertising false parties. Place was closed when we arrived at 11pm for an event they had advertised until 2am! DO BETTER ULTRA LOUNGE!
Cocktails served in an energetic, neon-lit space with DJ spinning top hits & dance music.
What is the point of waiting 30 plus minutes in line and then having to do a membership fee for $25 and then being told they only take cash and when we get the cash and sign up for the membership they still saying we can't come in it's disrespectful bullshit. There's free bars and clubs with better customer service.
Place was fun. Wondering by any chance if they have a lost and found ? I'm pretty sure I might have dropped my pandora bracelet in here.
My friend and I stumbled upon The Wave, not knowing it was a LGBT bar. We were trying to go to a hookah bar that was near but they were closed. So I seen a line at this night club and I was greeted with SO MUCH love from the people in line. With that I was so happy we found a place to kick it with initial friendly vibes. I enjoyed the music, I loved that they played pop, some 2000s music, a little techno, and even heard a Latin song! The drinks our were STRONG, presentation was cute, and the people that served them was SUPER friendly to me. They deeply thanked me and it was such a sweet encounter. Cover charge was $20, they have a INSIDE smokers section, couple of dance floors, good music. Despite the negative reviews, I gave my HONEST review! I MUST say; It is disheartening to see how unprofessional the responses are from the owner. However, we had a great night. Thank you!
We visited on April 26, we got there around 9:30pm. We paid a $20 cover charge which we deemed wasn’t really worth it. When getting our wristbands at the entrance the woman and gentleman were not friendly. Hardly acknowledged us and we asked how their night was they literally said nothing and stared at us. Not a great customer service impression. The bar itself was great, each bartender was enthusiastic and entertaining. The dance floor was dope with all the mirrors and lights however there were a few dead palmetto bugs on the floor. Yucky. We spent a majority of the time in the back bar area by the pool tables because the music selection was way better. We wish the music selection in the front was better so we could have spent more time on the dance floor. We also got lemon pepper wings and they were PHENOMENAL. The highlight of our visit, the worker in the kitchen was cool and moved pretty quick to be the only one working and having a line waiting. Not sure if we’d come again.
