First time visit to Krave with a few friends on Sunday 7/13/25. Love, love the music and atmosphere!! The whole vibe was really nice. We sat on the patio and the breeze was good. Not too crowded. Our server, Kia was excellent— very attentive & knowledgeable. I ordered Philly eggroll which is one eggroll with a ground beef and cheesy filling- very tasty, not what I was expecting though. One of my friends ordered oxtail quesadillas and she said they were delicious. The mumbo jerk wings were grilled and seasoned a bit too lightly— needed a tad bit more flavor. The chicken Philly with grilled onions was okay and the French fries were delish. I ordered the OG Burger which shouldn’t be on the menu— cause obviously the chef didn’t want to be bothered with it — had zero seasoning. **Going to try KraveVB again. I really appreciate the feedback from the owner/ restaurant — that lets me know they are serious about getting it right **

We stopped by Beachside Social during the 4th of July weekend and had an absolutely amazing time! Even though we didn’t have a reservation, we were able to enjoy a few rounds of bocce ball while waiting for a lane to open up. The atmosphere was lively and fun, with a great beachy vibe that made us feel right at home. The food and drinks were fantastic—fresh, flavorful, and perfect for a summer day. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely seemed to enjoy being there, which made our experience even better. This place is a hidden gem for families and groups looking to relax, play, and enjoy great food and drinks. Highly recommend you stop in and enjoy a game.

We hosted my sister’s baby shower at Beachside Social and couldn’t have been happier with the experience! With 75 guests, two shuffleboard courts, bocce ball, and table games, there was something fun for everyone. The food package was perfect (and delicious), and they made it easy to cover drinks for our guests with one tab. The team was incredibly accommodating, quick to answer questions, flexible, and genuinely kind. My sister and her husband are longtime league players there, and it truly feels like family every time we walk in. This place is such a well-run, welcoming venue. I highly recommend for any celebration - big or small!

Tried this restaurant on a whim and was absolutely surprised. Staff was spectacular (professional, attentive and provided great suggestions). Ordered up the following: -Two seperate flights of beer -Drunken mussels -Cajun Shrimp egg rolls w/ rice & beans -She Crab Soup -Seafood Pasta All were served hot, presentation was great and each were deliciously prepared with great flavors. I would highly recommend this location and look forward to returning to try additional menu options! 5*****

The drinks were good, the food was delicious, and everyone was really nice! I had the guava cider and blackened fish tacos with street corn pasta salad and my husband had the hot chicken sandwich with fries, we loved all of it! The kids had Mac n cheese and a cheese pizza and devoured it all. We would come back and highly recommend!

Monday evening we had dinner and had an excellent time. Kaitlyn was our absolutely amazing server and she gave us great recommendations. Their crush drinks were tasty. The scallops appetizer was the best scallops we have ever had. For our entree the vegetable medley complimented the crab meat and shrimp along with the scallops. The dessert was well crafted. The key lime pie was just right and the crush cake was warm and fluffy. 10/10 would recommend.

This place was pretty sweet. Wait time wasn’t awful, but place was packed. Server was nice, attentive, and had an extensive knowledge of the menu. The she crab soup was delicious and definitely worth the price. The burger was delicious, and the waterfront view tied everything together nicely. Prices were very modest for the value, overall definitely a great pick for a solid oceanfront dinner.

Unfortunately we visited at night so we couldn't enjoy the views. But from what I can tell, there are very beautiful surroundings. The atmosphere inside was very clean and open. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was amazing! Nice portion sizes and very flavorful. Highly recommend for a date or special occasion. We will definitely visit again.

We had dinner tonight at The Porch on Long Creek located just off Greatneck Road in the heart of Virginia Beach. They were busy but we got lucky by walking in just as a couple got up to leave from their seats at the bar. This was the food bar overlooking the kitchen area. It’s the best show in town, watching all of the professional chefs do their thing! Our server was Sabrina and she was prompt, courteous and friendly. She definitely made our night special. She several recommendations and we tried some of them (you can’t eat everything) every dish was a WINNER! Our food came out quickly considering how busy they were tonight. The pictures do not do the food justice, everything was incredible! We are already planning our next visit here and hope Sabrina will be our server!

10/10 highly recommend. The women there are tea 🤏🏽🤏🏽, my girl, Kiarra, made me and my homegirl’s night on her behalf w/o being there. Vibes were immaculate. Drinks/shots were good. I felt welcomed by everyone being my first time there. I’ll definitely return again very soon ❤️

The experience I had at mermaids was second to none. The staff, service, atmosphere was absolutely incredible. Amber and Josie behind the bar were very accommodating and made me feel very welcome. Truly a dream team. The other employees and dancers where so kind I felt like I had a second family. I highly recommend this establishment if you are looking for a good time.

Everything was so delicious! Our waiter had a couple big parties but he did great and I loved the way the whole staff worked together to get our food and drinks out since our waiter was busy. We had the spicy tuna stack which was probably my favorite thing of the night! Then for our entrees we had the Nashville fried hot chicken (something along those lines) and would definitely get again and the Szechuan crispy beef noodles, super good but really spicy so I wouldn’t order again. I guess the only thing I wish is my server would have made me aware of that but it could have said and I just over looked it so who knows. But will definitely be back.

I have been there twice. Both times the food was great. They have a decent menu size. Fun atmosphere and clean. For those who enjoy beer, they have a huge selection. Prices are on the higher side, but I think the quality of food matches. Our server was friendly.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Duck Dive Tavern is an absolute gem! We stopped in for Taco Tuesday and were blown away by the quality and value. The $3 chicken and beef tacos were flavorful and generously portioned, but the real standout was the bulgogi tacos — a delicious twist with bold, savory flavor that we’ll be coming back for. We also tried the steamed shrimp, which turned out to be a true highlight of the night — perfectly cooked, fresh, and seasoned just right. The drink menu is extensive and creative, with cocktails that are made fresh to order. Everything we tried was well-balanced and refreshing. The atmosphere was lively and upbeat, with a fun crowd that gave the place great energy. It’s definitely a social, laid-back vibe that’s perfect for meeting friends or starting a night out. We noticed they also offer live music, which adds to the charm, although we’re not sure which nights it’s scheduled. Between the fantastic food, drinks, and ambiance, Duck Dive Tavern easily earned this 5-star review. Highly recommend checking it out, especially on a Tuesday — you won’t be disappointed!

It definitely lives up to the name of being a dive bar but one thing I’ll say is the food is dang good!!!!! The beer selection leaves some to be desired but it is what it is. My one suggestion for the beef dogs just use regular buns, the buns they use are very tasty but it’s a bit much for a regular dog with mustard, the steak tacos are the best I’ve ever had

Atmosphere and service are a plus. Food was okay, but portions were rather small. The Shack Burger definitely needs more flavor. I couldn’t taste the cheese nor the chipotle mayo 🫤

Randomly stumbled upon this place but the vibes were immaculate. Very social and lively place during the day with great food and lots of games to play with kids and friends. And 21+ at night the same lively environment. Drinks were mostly rail drinks and it was ok.

I had great time with mi wife. Security very good, bartender’s service amazing. And if you want, you can request any song to the Dj.

The party doesn't start until after 10pm...if you come when it opens its empty but you don't pay the cover charge.

We went on a random Wednesday night so there weren’t that many people there (like 8ish????) but it was fun! The bartender was really nice and they allowed ppl to requests songs. I would caution that there’s a guy that seems to be friends with the DJ from last night (from what I remember a bit), he’s very sketchy and forced me into the male’s bathroom for a quick minute or three so I’d go again next time with a male friend and maybe some pepper spray lol The inside does look pretty small and there isn’t much but it’s honestly a vibe

Venue 112 has become an unsafe and dangerous spot in Virginia Beach. Saturday morning there was a shooting that left one person dead. Not long before that, at Central (right next door to Venue 112), another shooting happened that left a woman injured in her shoulder. What used to be one of the best nightlife areas for tourists has now been turned into a hood-style venue where violence overshadows the atmosphere. Central & venue used to be the place everyone went for a safe and enjoyable night out, but now it’s gone completely downhill. On top of that, I had my own experience at Venue 112 that showed just how careless and ineffective the security is. I was sitting there emailing my husband overseas , i set my phone down for a momentin in vip section , and a guy stole it and walked right out. I knew it was him, followed him, and even pointed him out to security. Security just stared at me and did absolutely nothing. They didn’t stop him, didn’t question him, didn’t even try. The fact that they allowed that to happen and would probably let that same person back in another day to keep stealing is insane. No wonder people feel like they can pull out a gun and shoot, because the truth is, the security isn’t doing their job and everyone knows it. Between violent incidents, thefts, and useless security, the parking lot and the venue itself are completely unsafe. If you’re visiting Virginia Beach and looking for nightlife, avoid Venue 112 and Central. Until serious changes are made, these places are not worth risking your safety.

What a cool bar around the corner. The food was amazing as well as the beers and shots! The bartender there went absolutely above and beyond! Had a great time and would highly recommend to anybody on the strip!

Beautiful place for dinner! Unfortunately, it didn't have air inside when we went! It was 98 degrees outside! Needless to say food was not good at all! So, we left the restaurant and went to the club area. Had a blast there! But,the restaurant part? DO BETTER!

The food was pretty good, but the wait was unbelievably long for the type of food that we ordered.. chicken wings, nachos, ect. that type of food! We had about a 15 person group, (graduation party) that seemed kinda overwhelming to our waitress! Just my opinion! I ordered a drink, my fav “Long Island Ice Tea”, it took forever to get it, and it wasn’t cold at all.. like it was made, but sat on the back!! But I did like the vibe

Had a great lunch at calypso the other day on the ocean front, all the food came out great ! Our server was very friendly and new about the menus very well, definitely coming back again for more meals and great vibes as always

I celebrated my birthday at Rainbow Cactus and it could not have been more perfect! The energy was amazing from the moment I walked in. The staff were friendly, the drinks were on point, and the music kept the vibe alive all night. The drag performances were fabulous and made the whole night feel extra special. It’s such a welcoming space, full of laughter, color, and community. If you’re looking for a place to dance, celebrate, and feel completely at home, this is it. Thank you for making my birthday unforgettable! 🌈✨

Went to The Rainbow Cactus and had a blast. First off, shoutout to Matt behind the bar; dude knows his stuff. I asked for my version of an Angry Balls (cider + Fireball, but with a twist), and he nailed it without blinking. Friendly, fast, and kept the good vibes flowing all night. The drag show? Absolutely worth it. The queens brought the energy, the outfits were on point, and the crowd was into it without being too much. It felt like the perfect balance of performance and party. Music was consistently solid all night; high-energy mixes, a few throwbacks, and nothing that made me want to leave the dance floor. It’s the kind of place that knows its audience and keeps the night moving. If you’re looking for a place with good drinks, good people, and a show that delivers, Rainbow Cactus is it. Don’t sleep on it. And if Matt’s working the bar, you're in good hands.

I had a great time celebrating my birthday with friends. Definitely an older crowd. Good music, great wings and our waitress was bomb with great customer service! Free parking!

Horrible experience I waited in the line for about 30mins to a hour for a friend’s party… only for the lady security to tell me I had to go to the back of the other line… when there was no differentiation between the 2 lines mentioned…. Please don’t let me forget they didn’t have any AIR CONDITIONER… people were coming out using white paper plates to fan themselves so distasteful! Police were everywhere; I was nervous and asked a few people is there a lot of crime. Just a warning to prepare and brace yourself if you decide to attend this club!

We are from out of town ..Ohio.On my wife's birthday weekend and was looking forv a place to dance and listen to some great club music...PEABODYS was the Hot Spot in Virginia Beach....It had it all great friends staff and awesome set up inside with a free selfie photo station that you can send to your cell phone.Not to mention the spectacular food selection and the all you can eat wings for 10.00.Codi our waitress was hands down one of the most customer service oriented down to earth servers we have ever met.We played trivia that was about different music types before the DJ came on ...and we won a 25.00 in house gift certificate...that when we used it with our already low tab amount ( Because they have happy Hour from 7 pm to 9 pm )...our tab was minimal for hours and hours of KICK ASS VIRGINIA BEACH fun....I highly recommend this night club to any and all out of towners who want to have a great time low cost Dance fuled night to remember.😁This deserves 10 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Brian and KelliMassillon Ohio #PeabodysVB @peabodysnightclub #buzzybooth

Not that anyone from Virginia Beach needs a list of reasons why you shouldn’t visit this establishment, for the tourists here goes: 1. A cover charge. Why? Because there are 18 year olds who aren’t going to buy alcohol. And it’s $10. I love paying $10 to listen to an awful DJ who repeatedly asks “where my libras at??” No. One. Cares. 2. The cover charge is not only bananas, but guess what else it does? Attracts under 21 year olds. So expect to be bombarded by these kids asking you to dance. 3. Bartenders are plentiful, but apparently they don’t understand they can all work at the same time. There would be a line at the bar, and the bartenders were rotating as the next customer walked up for service. WHY? Get rid of the line. Your tip would have been more if you were efficient. 4. I bought a $5 pizza at the end of the night so you NEVER have to- it should be a crime to sell this pizza. It’s awful, I’m sure the health department would not agree it was actually food. If you like eating cardboard, this is your jam. 5. The way they hold people out front to make it look like it’s exclusive is so annoying. Don’t be fooled. The bald dude manning the front was ridiculous. The only decent dude was the one who searched my bag. And fyi- they touch your stuff, they don’t just put a stick through your bag- they pull your stuff out. Pretty sure there’s some rights violation here, but I’m more concerned for the man whose been told to dig to the bottom of every woman’s bag. Maybe have a clear bag policy if you’re that bothered? Makes me wonder what you’re looking for and if I should be concerned for my safety. I’m not sure how this place survives. If you’re visiting, do yourself a favor, go anywhere else but here. If you’re under 21, this is Nickelodeon approved, welcome, and if you’re a local- it’s just as bad as it’s always been- don’t do it.

Beautiful place. Have been here four times for a nonexistent neon pool party event. No one answers the phone for this at all. We call before we go. Last night they had it posted on the website, but when we got there nobody knew anything. Will not be going back there. Keep the refund.

The bartenders were fantastic, getting our drinks out quickly. I ordered the Staycation, and it was absolutely delicious! The cozy ambiance made for a perfect evening, and I truly loved the breathtaking views. Not a lot of people for a Friday night, which made it even more enjoyable.
