The atmosphere and vibe is fun. The place is clean. The baked potato is amazing and I loved how many vegetarian friendly/vegan friendly options there were, bonus for making them easy to find on the menu. My friend got the nachos and they also were good. The whole menu looks amazing. The owners/bartenders are super friendly and some of the best from Top. This is definitely my new favorite bar for when I visit home.
Fun (decor and pinball machines) and clean space, DELICIOUS BAKED POTATOES, gender neutral bathrooms (x2), attentive and friendly service. Will return. Arrived at 5pm on a Friday, with a group of 3, and sat in the front. Service was quick and friendly. There is a great selection of baked potatoes that were AMAZING and came in the to go box, all we needed was a lid to take left overs home.
Absolutely loved this spot! The pizza was perfectly crispy and loaded with flavor. The atmosphere is beautiful and cozy, with a stylish bar setup and thoughtful details that make it feel welcoming. The beer and cider were a perfect match with the pizza, and the whole vibe of the place made it easy to relax and enjoy the evening. Shoutout to Jeremy (the owner) and Kristina they were incredibly friendly and made the experience even better. Can’t wait to come back.
First time but not the last. Had a Narrows Porter 5.4ABV. Nice porter. And the Arugula Pear pizza. Delicious! Goat cheese, pears, arugula, and honey. A cider or white wine would have paired well with this pizza. My wife had the combo and she liked it. And she has very discriminating tastes.
Local watering hole featuring craft beers & bar bites in wood-paneled quarters with a fireplace.
Fantastic tavern in a beautiful neighborhood in north end. A huge variety of tasty local beers. Beautifully decorated with a warm inviting atmosphere. Didn’t have food but heard (and saw) that it’s fantastic. Lots of games including shuffleboard, darts and pool for only 50 cents!!
We've been coming here a couple decades now. Excellent beer selection, dog friendly patio, friendly people. So great on a sunny day, but cozy on a rainy one. Full on Tacoma locals spot.
Classic pub featuring imported beers, scotch & whiskey plus bar food & soccer on TV.
Found this online & not sorry we stopped. We would stop again. We had been traveling ALL day to celebrate (Vancouver, WA to Vancouver, B.C.) & I really wanted something that wasn't fast food, but not fancy schmancy either. Went in w/ a large appetite but never made it to an entree. I ordered Tot-chos (86'd the meat) & my partner had Banger Poutine. These were underneath the 'Steadying Snacks' Category. I wanted to do the grilled cheese & bisque, but I was so full. Had 2 local-ish IPAs (can't recall the name, but from PDX). Tasty. The staff was super kind. The bartender brought me 3 different hot sauces. Found a new fav in the process. Try the Murder Hornet Honey Bourbon if you like a kick where you can taste the flavors. I didn't have bday cake all day, so we took some bread pudding & a giant cookie to go. The bread pudding was delicious (warm, gooey, sugary). I am from Louisiana & had not had any in a while. Learned that a cook there is also from Louisiana & for March they do an entire southern menu. Bathrooms, bar, & dining all appeared to be clean! Parked across the street easily. There is a small parking lot as well for patrons, if I recall correctly. Either way, shouldn't be too hard to get close-ish. Place probably gets busy, we were there right around 9pm on a Monday night. Very calm 😊.
Had a beautiful, delicious soft pretzel out on the back patio. The atmosphere was great and there was plenty of space for my dog and me. The bartender even brought out a bucket of water for my little pup!
Its a nice place really cozy and clean we love the ambience in this place the bartender is really friendly the pinball machines are amazing
Nice people...I like going on an afternoon, as opposed to the evening. They have good beer options on tap with some good ciders as well and a full bar. Prices and replays on the pinball machines are a little high... It's better at Huckleberry. More variety at Dorkys. Solid spot, tough parking though.
Nice dark tiki bar! Hidden off a side street in downtown. No sign out front, just a ships well to let you know you got to the right place! Dark and cozy inside. Great selection of drinks! We tried Obeds grog and the death never dies! Both were good and had a bit of a punch! Worth stopping if you like tiki!
This place is amazing! A very fun and cozy tiki bar in an old historic area of Tacoma. I had the best drink that I've ever had, it's called the Gilman House Special and it was so delicious that I can't wait to go back for another one. We also tried different grog drinks that were amazing too. For our food we shared nachos and ordered pork sliders, rice bowl and quesadilla. Everything was delicious. It was a very fun night!
This place has a good crowd and on Fridays was super lit lots of people there want to come again on a Saturday. Surprisingly, I do speak Spanish and I will say if you go in English bring friends and then you'll have fun. Speak Spanish? Ask some people to dance and have a grand time! Lots of Spanish only speakers.
Had a great night at Lulu! The atmosphere was energetic, the music was on point, and the drinks were strong. Special shoutout to our server Lulu—she was attentive, friendly, and made sure we were well taken care of all night. Definitely coming back!
Super nice staff, reasonable priced and yummy drinks! It’s has such cute decor, games, love the video screen in the middle and theres plenty of seating!
A Hilltop Bar with get ready for this… karaoke ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ also seems to be a dance spot for some folks. The atmosphere is definitely there, the vibe depends on the day & time. They do also have a dart board and shuffleboard.
We recently got a reserved table at Vibe Dive Lounge in Tacoma for a friend’s going-away party, and the night absolutely delivered. We showed up a little early, but by 11 PM the place was packed and the energy was just right. The staff were incredibly friendly—at one point they even gifted us a bottle of champagne, which really set the tone for the rest of the night. The DJ was spinning a perfect mix of old-school R&B and hip-hop with just the right amount of new tracks thrown in to keep it current. Everyone was dancing, singing along, and genuinely having a good time. One of the best things about the night was the crowd—people of all ages, races, and sexual orientations were out enjoying themselves. The atmosphere was inclusive and welcoming, and it was easy to strike up conversations and make friends with the tables around us. The wings were absolutely on point—crispy, well-seasoned, and the kind of bar food you actually look forward to. Drinks came out quickly and were well-made, which says a lot on a packed Saturday night. There’s a $10 cover after 10 PM, but it’s totally worth it for the quality of the experience. From the music to the staff to the vibe itself, this place feels like a much-needed addition to Tacoma’s nightlife. Can’t wait to go back.
Probably not gonna go back here. They charge $10 to enter. Really packed, music was great but after I bought my friend and I a drink & took 2 sips we had to run out because a fight broke and someone brought out a gun. Not the bars fault but not a good experience after spending money & being since for 5min or less.
Down-to-earth tavern suppling drinks & casual chow till late night, with happy hour twice daily.
I hadn’t been in for years, but I’m happy to see the kitchen is still phenomenal, bartenders are efficient, and the people there are friendly. Love this place!
The vibes are always vibing! A Tacoma staple. Everyone who works here is LOVELY. Their food is fresh and delicious, every time! Always an eclectic blend of music playing. A forever fave!
Gay bar & nightclub featuring karaoke, music videos, DJ dance parties & drag queen shows.
We had a fabtastic time singing with the other guests, the drinks were strong and reasonably pricey without gouging your budget. The KJ was wonderful and very accommodating. The best part I must preface. I have been singing karaoke all over the world for the last 30 years and the mix has one the very best stage to acoustics score I can give. Now The Mint in San Francsico stands second. Sorry Kevin, I think the KJ there would love Finn as much as I do though... ;)
Wow 🤩!!! Prideful of beautiful people were here 😘 and it was super fun for a small amount of time! This was last minute ticket and we made it from Seattle Wa. I guess if you see a pride event, then go for it!? Lol Anyways, what a great atmosphere here!!! Great drag shows earlier today!!! People were super friendly!!! Love love love it 😍
Local bar chain serving classic & contemporary Mexican dishes, plus cocktails, in a stylish space.
Went for happy hour, and got all the yummy margs! Drinks are plentiful and delicious. Not the bestest margaritas but they’ll do! Didn’t get a pic of all our drinks because we were thirsty, and they were chilled to perfection. Got the dip flight appetizer and it was wonderful! Must order are the quesobarria tacos!!! They come in a plate of three standalone!! They’re cooked perfectly crispy on the outside with melted cheese inside! Staff and service were great! Super friendly and very attentive to our beverage needs! Only complaint, as it gets busy, it does get loud in the space. I was feeling like I had to speak louder than normal so my friends would hear me.
Great service and great food! I loved my enchiladas so it was flavorful and fresh! The only downside was the nachos. Wasn’t a huge fan of it but we got it during happy hour so it was discounted which was nice! The meat we ordered was chicken and was slightly dry for me. My suggestion would be instead of melting cheese on the chips make a cheese sauce! Would make this amazing! Ordered the mojito and it was alright!
Excuse me, I believe I asked for the mini salad? Seriously, tasty food. When this heaping plate of salad arrived, I actually had to question if it was the small serving. I had this and a super creamy bowl of Beecher's mac. My husband's burger came with a generous portion of fries. We both loved our cocktails. Two servers were both attentive to us. The music was a nice chill vibe. Would happily come again!
This place is a whole vibe! My first time here. The waitress Chantelle was awesome! The chef David was awesome as well, he sat with us and chatted for a bit! Will be back for sure! Drinks and food didn’t disappoint.
Craft beer, American bites, karaoke & daily happy hour amid wood accents & camping decor.
Loved the theme of this place. Could decorate the outside a bit and make it a little more appealing, but it’s a cool outdoorsy vibe inside. The bartender was super cool and friendly. We got a burger and wrap and it was alright, nothing to rave about. I did have a hair on my plate when it was served to me, so that’s never my favorite thing… I would however, go back to try their s’mores and do some karaoke or trivia
I love the idea of this bar. It's not near my house, so I've only been there 1 time. The bartender was incredibly nice and memorable, though. I would go back just to chat with her again. Not the cheapest spot around, but certainly not expensive, and a fun vibe with great service.
No-frills, retro watering hole with live music, beer & karaoke in a coffee-pot-shaped building.
Top dive bars in America right here. Love the history, the eclectic decor, the layout, the constant karaoke, the actual sociable main bar, and of course the teapot design. Food is meh, but drunk food is wowza, so have a few. Didnt have high expectations, its a bar! Beer is freshy fresh.
What an amazing bar! Found this place on a pee mission, had to go. Definitely a unique spot. Can't wait to go back and party it up.
Restaurant & nightclub with comedy, jazz & other shows, plus a menu of sushi, pizza & bar bites.
Great little place for hanging out and listening to some great live music from local musicians. And it has a nice size dance floor. "GROOVE COLONY" was awesome! playing their new album "Chasing Petals" release party. Got Mynes! Drinks were great too Thanks Jazzbones.
What an EPIC weekend at this fantastic club!!!! This is an awesome, safe, clean venue to listen to live music. 🎶 🎶🎶 We loved the venue and the staff are all so very hardworking and very nice. Especially Randy and Tony the security guys!! They are efficient and professional and kept the environment safe. My wife felt very comfortable. 👍 Patronize this establishment only if you want to listen to great music and a warm and inviting atmosphere!! 🎶🎶🎶🕺🏻💃🥃
There is no food. Sometimes they make tacos outside. Seats are over priced. The drinks are $15 a shot, mixed drink. Beers are $40 for 6
I love the music and service is great prices are just right. I will be back next week
Casual, neighborhood gay bar with cocktails, karaoke & dancing beneath a disco ball.
God AWFUL service the moment we walked in. There was maybe 6 people in the room, and only 2 seated at the bar aside us. We waited 15 minutes to be noticed by an old man chit chatting away with people in the pickup station. So I figured we move down despite knowing he noticed us. After moving down and another 10 min pass, he still stays at the lower bar area at pickup station servicing only those. Frustrated, I get up and get in line with my girlfriend and we wait yet another 10 minutes before I make it VERY evident im pissed. I know the bartender saw us, yet he continue to entertain others at the bar. We are from out of state and made a special point to hotel 1 night in Tacoma to go around to those gay bars.... and I couldnt believe the disrespect. Go to any other gay bar in Tacoma. I had been there 1 other time earlier in the year with a friend and the service was the same. No wonder the low stars, here's another one for them.
Worst “gay bar” Ive ever been too.. The vibe here was not giving lgbtq+ friendly at all, it was mostly straight men in here and the dj was playing misogynistic rap music the whole night.. I like rap but it wasn’t the vibe for somewhere that claims to be a gay bar, ya know. Between the security/patrons it really didn’t feel like a safe space for lgbtq+ folks.. also the Girls bathroom was out of toilet paper and gross the whole night (10-2) and no one fixed/restocked it. The Bartender was rude too, we wanted to buy the pull-tab/scratcher things but he wouldn’t let us cause he was “too busy” but there was only one other guy in line, it was only 10pm like the place wasn’t even busy yet lol… just seems like they don’t care, not coming back :|
I'm putting 5 star because I haven't been there about 20 years in the real foxes days "before dream girls" and it was a great time as well just stopped in last night and it's gotten better! Love the remodel paved no more rocks and welcoming environment. Wish people realize foxes will not shut down why dream girls and last 6 year big investors. Sucks bar got the boot but zips even upgraded it more! Foxes for life!
Went with my husband last Saturday and had an absolute blast! The atmosphere was amazing and all the girls were also amazing! Loved the diversity and every single girl I talked to had a great attitude and were absolutely stunning! I will gladly be coming back to see Kim, Nirvana, and Blake !!
