Awesome place to hang! Really cool atmosphere and laid back vibe. Several TV’s, board games, free old console games and trivia nights. Full bar with several taps for beers along with a beer cooler. All goes good with the tasty food. Service is friendly and great as well. Definitely a must stop!
My friend invited me to watch the WVU women's game at Pour Choices and I was not disappointed. The Stone Hazy IPA was cold and refreshing (yes, I like hazy IPAs now) and we both got two glizzies and chips. The WV on the right made me say, "Now this is a gourmet hot dog" and the NYC was just as flavorful. Add in a little Frank's Red Hot for the chips and it made for a delicious lunch. And the Girls played fantastic! The atmosphere was great and the service was wonderful. I'll definitely be back a few times in the upcoming months.
We’re here about once a year. (nice, that rhymed) This time, the re-theme may be working in their favor. Haven’t tried the food this time, but hopefully it’s not the oven-heated Costco apps from last year. Lots of seating, beautiful views of the Mon River, and friendly people. That’s a good time in downtown Morgantown!
If you want a great lunchtime experience in a quiet atmosphere with amazing food, go here! I had a BLT that was phenomenal.
One of the old times beer bars that was around forever. Got wine too now. Lucy the weekend Bartender is famous. They all are great people. This is the place where they know you. Staff and customers too. Stopped by late Friday for a hot dog and listened to some music.
Fun local place to stop for cheap eats and ice cold beer. Lots of local people that are super nice and the bartender was excellent!! Don’t miss this stop in West Virginia!!!!!!
Laid-back standby offering many rotating craft beers on tap & bar bites in a warm, narrow space.
Best beer selection in town. Came here on a beautiful summer evening to relax. The staff was awesome - super welcoming and kind. Sandwiches were on point - I had the pepper delight - but the dip was the most delicious part of the meal. Both the inside and outside seating areas are cozy and well thought out. I really like the fence surrounding the area to separate the adjacent busy road. I highly recommend and would definitely go back, best bar in town.
We ordered the pickles eggs which were good, 2 drinks (CB Hillbilly Hustle Lager and a New Trail Blueberry Sour), and the veggie flatbread. It was all good. The only downfall for me was the amount of dust hanging off the walls and items they have has decorations.
I love Town Hill!! Get a Morgantown martini and bacon cheeseburger or cheesesteak 🔥 Their hotdogs are also great. Cash only!
First time in my 23+ years of living in Morgantown that I stepped foot in the facility. It was clearly a place where everyone knew everyone else but us. It was apparent we were not welcomed. I did not feel safe there. There was only 1 employee. If something had happened, he could not have had handled it. I feel bad for him in the position he was. I PROMISE I will NEVER return.
Went there on a Thur night for karaoke, around 915PM. Found a table top for 4 right away, server took care of food/drink service quickly. My friend & I enjoyed their NA (non-alcoholic) options. Karaoke dj is one who has been dishing out a good time in Morgantown for a Long time.
We did not order food. Great atmosphere friendly bartender. Drink prices a little high in my opinion. We paid 6.50 for crown and water on the rocks and 10.00 for a pitcher of bud light. I prefer bottles but at $4.00 and some tax no thanks. Not sure of the overhead but 5 for a crown and water and 2.50 for a domestic seem more appropriate for this spot.
Game-day hangout offering casual American eats, a large beer selection & a comfy vibe.
To start things off, the employees were very nice both on the phone and when I came in to pick up my order. They were very understanding and helped me with an issue I was having with my card possibly being charged twice. As for the food, the menu is absolutely massive with an overwhelming amount of tasty-sounding things to choose from; we settled on pizza and wings. The pizza sauce was nicely sweetened and when combined in synergy with the hot honey, it created a delightful savory/sweet combo. It was even more improved by the topping of grilled peppers and onions, forming an extra layer of caramelized flavor. I've never seen that topping offered before and I'm glad I went with it. I ate the entire thing in one sitting, too. As for the wings, I highly recommend the raspberry-peach sauce. It's a unique flavor combination and almost like a jelly in texture. The other flavor I got was mango habanero and you can't go wrong with that one either. Just for fun, I also got a side of their hottest sauce, aptly named "Hurt Me". I try to make it a thing of sampling places hottest sauces. Now listen, I love my spice. I'm not one of those people who claims to like spice and then tears up when eating jalapeños. Habanero does pretty much nothing to me and ghost pepper is where things start to get spicy. I've done the "One Chip" challenge. I can handle my spice. That said, I met my match here. I took one tiny spoonful and my stomach immediately started doing somersaults and cramping. Massive props to whoever whipped this stuff up, as it's very rare a place actually knows how to make things spicy. Speaking of wings, both me and my girlfriend got a bonus one! Overall, the food was amazing and I wanna try so much more. The only downside was that it was quite expensive. A 14-inch pizza is $14 which isn't good, but not awful. However, each of the toppings adds $2.50. I ended up paying over $91 for two pizzas and 22 wings (ordered 20). I'd probably give this place 4.5 stars for that, but that's not an option so I'll round up since I'm feeling nice and the food was phenomenal. Update: Decided to come back but dine-in this time. The turkey pesto panini was pretty good. The Giovanni was juicy but was lacking flavor. However, I added a bit of BBQ sauce and it fixed it right up. The pulled pork nachos were delicious, especially the pork itself; it was tender and flavorful. Fries are perfectly crispy as well. Update #2: Once again delicious. I can now recommend the honey garlic, Nashville hot, and Cajun wings as well. The sweet potato fries with cinnamon sugar rock and so do the onion petals. Still so much more for me to explore here!
Absolutely amazing amount if fish o. A big fish sandwich. Enough to fill you up and fillyou up again for lunch the next day. Great food with crispy fish and chips.
Cozy gastropub featuring New American bites, local beers & specialty cocktails in warm environs.
Overall, a delicious meal and great night out! The atmosphere was casual but not crowded. The food was delicious - we got a umami mushroom smash burger and cauliflower tacos and beers. All very tasty! I do wish the burger was a tad bigger in portions but I didn’t leave hungry.
Great burgers. The roasted brusselspouts are very good. Nice beer selection. A bit on the expensive side for a local draft beer.
Cocktails served in a contemporary gay club with pool tables & a dance floor, plus drag shows.
Had an amazing time celebrating at the New Year party and catching Suzie Toot a few weeks back—what a show! The atmosphere was incredible, and I’m really loving the fresh new vibe the new owners have brought in. The space is cute, clean, and full of fun energy. Always such a blast seeing our talented Pittsburgh Queens light up the stage—also so nice to see our amazing local queens getting the spotlight too! Can’t wait to see what you all have planned for Pride—keep it coming!
Foods okay. Drinks have gone down hill sadly. I loved coming here when it was vise versa and Chris was the bartender on Sundays loved it. I spent 40 to 50 every Sunday night I came out. Now I can't even justify a 5 dollar pitcher. I ordered a rum and coke pitcher and I could not taste the rum, which I can over look slightly, but I also couldn't taste the coke. It tasted like carbonated water. The espresso martini had good taste but yet again not as strong or as big as the ones vise made. I use to love this place and raved about it to everyone, but now I think I'll be looking for a new place till they get some new bartenders. My fiance also complained to me about barely being able to taste the vodka cranberry in her vodka cranberry stating it taste like a la croux that had gone flat. I tasted it and also didn't taste any vodka just water then a tiny back note of cranberry. All in all martinis and shots are great but I'm staying away from the pitchers if I do ever come back. Honestly sad to have to write this review, and I do sincerely hope the pitchers on Sunday improve.
Long-standing locale offering basic American grill fare, a big beer selection & live entertainment.
Jamaican Jerk and Spicy Peach wings were both phenomenal and neither sauce tastes like it was from a bottle like some places. Chicken Parm hoagie was delicious as well and the marinara was very flavorful. My only complains were that the fries were soggy (I'm sure they were fine when they were fresh, so no points lost there) and I wish there was an option to add sauces to a pickup order. Unless I was missing something, I couldn't find a way to buy extra marinara or other dipping sauces. :( Overall, definitely ordering again!
The deep fried pepperoni rolls are AMAZING! My niece and I shared the crab dip, which was good. She ordered and liked the Hawaiian bowl. The server was fantastic.
Reagan is miserable. She is no help. Gives no help and stares at us at the bar all night. We simply asked her for a paper towel and she gave us the nastiest look ever recorded in history. She should not be serving people with that nasty attitude. She literally has no patience. Food took over 2 hours which is not her fault. we stayed at the bar the whole time and when we asked her for an update over an hour of waiting, she told us it was not her issue and to ask someone else. Hope this helps she shouldn’t be serving at a college bar.
Ii don't often take the time to do a review, but this had to be done...we waited 3 HOURS for an appetizer and it NEVER CAME! Had to wait 10 minutes to CANCEL our order because so many people were on line to cancel. We waited so long that all other places in town were already booked and had NO FOOD! Worst service in my entire life. Honestly, I've never been treated so poorly for dinner in my entire life ..and I've traveled a lot .
READ THE REVIEWS AND DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND ENERGY GOING!!!! THIS ISN'T A GOOD PLACE FOR A NIGHT OUT! THEY HAVE ANYONE COME THROUGH - EVEN IF THE PERSON IS QUESTIONABLE. NAH. SAVE YA MONEY AND GO ELSEWHERE
Great environment. Staff is very friendly. Felt way safer here than I have in other clubs around it. Good music and overall a great place!
Bartenders are pushy and ask for extra tips. Drinks are good and well priced, but it is dirty. The bathroom floors are flooded and no toilet paper or handsoap, also stall doors don't lock. Waited two hours in line, bouncer was talking to people in line instead of iding or letting groups in without iding at all.
Drove an hour and a half, looked at social media and online, club didn’t mention being closed but was. Bartenders are typically rude. Recently had a bartender tell my friend to not coming back up to the bar if she wasn’t going to tip. Drinks are great, and decently priced, but the club plays mediocre at best music. Bathrooms are disgusting; no tp, hand soap, dirty floors and trash on the ground. Good if you live close. Wouldn’t recommend going far out of your way for this place.
Staff always drunk…
Charged $10 to get in and had no dancers, but wanted you to wait for no one. On top of that the bartender had no idea what he was doing. A complete waste of time.
