I would give more stars if I could! This place was awesome! It's a little small, but really worth the trip. We sat outside and had a great time. The food was magnificant - the mushroom flatbread and the mushroom pasta, holy cow they were SO GOOD. I told our waitor, who was also awesome, that they needed to be served together. If you're a mushroom lover like us, I highly recommend getting them both! Then dipping the flatbread in the pasta. YUM! The espresso martini was also delicious! So good my boyfriend got a second! The wine was very good as well! So happy we checked this place out, we are already excited to return and get these dishes and the martini again!

Absolutely wonderful place Food was wonderful our mixologist Effie was absolutely outstanding! Great selection of wines cozy atmosphere highly recommended if you are in the Parkersburg West Virginia area! Wonderful time indeed.

Atmosphere-4 stars- Claims to be the oldest Brewery in WV. Rustic looking tavern with plenty of tables and a full bar. Very popular with the locals. Can get a little loud. Very clean. Service- 4 stars- not the friendliest waitress but a hard worker. Place was busy at lunch time and it seemed she had most if not all the tables to take care of. Food- 4 stars- I had what was coined their Famous Burger- you can get a 1/4 lb or a 1/2 pound burger. I went with the 1/4 which was plenty big enough. Not a bad burger but not sure I would give it a “Famous” label. I liked the fact that they carry both Coke and Pepsi products. Don’t see that often. We also got a basket of Onion Rings which were very good and a basket of bottle cap jalapeños- not bad either and a huge serving. I would stop by again if I’m ever in town.

Had a flight of 8 beer samples for 18 dollars and a steak and cheese sandwich to it for 14 dollars. It was alright. Nothing more than that.. Mens restroom didnt look like it has been cleaned in like 4-5 years..

They really suck they don't know how to answer a phone when somebody calls to ask questions and it's very rude

No food

We ate here on a Friday evening. We were able to walk in and get a seat. Our server greeted us quickly. We ordered the pretzel with cheese for an appetizer which was good. They were very soft and buttery. We ordered a Mediterranean chicken sandwich, a Philly cheesesteak and a cheeseburger with fries. The food Came out pretty quick. The fries were awesome! Thin and crispy homemade ones, we loved them. I didn’t like the chicken but only because I don’t like pesto. It was good otherwise. I tried his burger and it was delicious, so was the cheesesteak. We will be back!

Ordered food today and it was nothing like last time. This time very small portions for alot of money. Ordered 3 mountaineer cheesesteak which was not good, the fries are awful and paid over 70 dollars. Will not recommend unless you want ripped off. You get more food at Wendy’s for alot cheaper. 18 dollars for this I’m guessing maybe 6 inch sub and fries. So ridiculous for the price🤬

I decided to spend my new years at Dixie bar. When I arrived inside with my friend the bartender in major attitude told us it was a private bar and we had to leave immediately.I feel I was a victim of racism being Hispanic. My lawyer will b in touch..

Great place cold beer good head

We love fine dining…but we love a great little dive bar too. This place was it! The atmosphere took us back to when we were young (18!!!) at a local bar in Wilmot, Ohio…except this place was on a river! lol! The burger was really good and the drinks were great!!!! Don’t write this little place off, folks. Appreciate what it is and embrace it.

It's one of my favorite stops on the water. The drinks are as cold as your ex's heart. The wings got that seer you're looking for. Crunchy and delicious. Generous serving portions. Great atmosphere and lots of dock space if you're a boater. The service is excellent and always 👌spot on. I'd recommend it to the boat crowd or the passersby. The owner of the place is also top-notch, understands business, and having his customers leave satisfied.

Excellent first experience. Ordered the homemade pork rinds wirh Sriracha ranch for dipping and they were awesome. Got the club sandwich which was also amazing. Staff was short but did the best they could. Highly recommended.

I prefer to go to the bars during the day so that is my only experience there. In my opinion they are the best wings in parkersburg. Very friendly patrons and staff.

The food was delicious! I couldn't bear to take leftovers home - it was so good! Although I forgot to get a picture of the salads! Lindsey in the kitchen & she did great!!

This was an outstanding stop for us! The food was terrific service was fantastic quick and well worth it! What a sleeper little place definitely worth the reviews The food was great if you're in the area you have to stop and check it out!

10 out of 10!! Tony and I at Uncle Mike's Bar and Grille in Parkersburg. We had an appetizer basket of deep fried goodness...mushrooms and Jalapeño Cheddar Poppers w Mozarrella Sticks plus Mondays special $5 Pizza with whatever Toppings you want! We got Pepperoni Onions and Banana Peppers! Bigger inside than you think! Clean and roomy! Lacey was our bartender slash waitress and even though she was very busy this lady handled the room!! She checked on us so many times! Tony had a couple PBR in the bottles & played the Guess the Cap game but lost !! I had Well Soda!! My favorite!! Very nice place! Great energy & vibes, so we will go back! Highly recommend because it's 10 out of 10! I can't find a flaw ! Also outside seating and large parking lot!!

I thought the food was really good. The server took great care of us and we saw some friends and chatted a bit. The music is a bit loud, it’s definitely more of a bar than a family restaurant. We ordered the club a few weeks ago for take out and it was fantastic. Huge! This time I had a burger and my husband got the grilled chicken. It was all really good.

I can't rate the food. I was actively ignored by the server. I tried talking to her when I came in. No response. She came to the table next to me for times, looked at me and walked away. And I watched a table of eight walk out because they decided they weren't going to get served either. This place was recommended for the food is guess. Maybe they only deal with locals which I'm not. And it wasn't that busy except at the bar. And check me out. I've done over 1600 reviews and this is my third negative review.

The BEST Philly and Italian subs in town! Specials everyday, HUGE selection of alcohol, best Bartenders, they make you feel like your right at home! Prices are amazing & with 12 tvs and all of them can be running different games, you won't miss a thing! Plus they also gambling machines. The LR has been open 50 years, obviously they are doing something right! Check it out for sure!!

Tracie the bartender greeted me as soon as I walked in the door. The food was top notch and the service exceeded any expectations.
