Rumor has it that this restaurant has pretty good food, according to 81 Google reviews and 4.7 stars. There's some truth to every rumor. My friend and I walked in, and were promptly seated, placed the order in for some food, waited about 15-20 minutes before we even got water. At this point I should've left. The water had a very off taste too it. Not well water, but still kind of bad, hard to describe. Normally the appetizers come first, that's what I was expecting at least, but everything came at the same time. Let's start with the appetizers. First time having crab Rangoon from a non Asian restaurant, but it was pretty tasty, not sure if it was fresh, but decent enough. At least it wasn't a salty crab Rangoon. Then there were the cheese curds, sometimes a bit, other times a miss. It definitely had a heavy garlic flavor to it, but they felt unsalted. Cheesy, unsalted, and deep-fried. Kind of like a place holder for what could have been an amazing dish. Then the main course. The Hot Daddy burger was ok, not really spicy, and not exactly the freshest. Bun wise it felt kind of stale and kind of bland. It was somewhat Juicy, but honestly it felt somewhat in between Burger King and Red Robin quality on it. I tried the Chicken Bacon Ranch Wrap, it tasted pretty good — the tortilla was grilled nicely and the ingredients were solid. Chicken, bacon, and ranch all worked well together. It might’ve had a bit too much mayo for my taste, but not enough to ruin it. The fries were just okay, nothing memorable. It was a decent meal, but probably wouldn’t go out of my way for it again. The only truth to the rumor of the restaurant being 4.7 stars is probably the crab Rangoons taste. Rumors spread like wildfire, but there is little truth to them. This is my experience with 24's Rumors Lounge.
It's a bar/restaurant. You can eat in the bar or in the restaurant. Very friendly knowledgeable staff. They are proud to offer many items made in house. So far none have disappointed. We've had wings, giant crinkle cut fries, crab Rangoon, steak bites, egg rolls and flatbread pizza. Next on my list and handmade stuffed mushrooms. IWLYK.
The staff genuinely cares about your experience here which is important. The service is excellent, speedy food, and importantly speedy drinks. The atmosphere here is amazing and unlike “edgy” bars you’ve been to. I will say, they need to be complete and upfront with their drink prices. Fine, charge us for every single ingredient (simple mixers, soda, etc) but don’t add it to our bill at the end and let it be a surprise. The drinks are excellent, but please let your customers know that they will indeed be charged for every garnish and every ingredient. Thank you and we will definitely be coming back!
The bulgogi beef nachos were fire. The wings are HUGE and so crunchy. They have non-alcoholic drink options which was excellent. This was a comfortable environment with cute decor (nice job on the bathrooms) and the food was surprisingly great. I'd go back for sure.
Owner is off the charts - runs an amazing joint - home to the WolfPack M.C. And that's always a plus - staff is incredible - if you're not already a regular, you should be.
The bartender is incredibly friendly, and the atmosphere is consistently pleasant. I have to say, I've never been to a bar with such consistently great music—every track is a banger! This place truly embodies the essence of a fantastic neighborhood bar.
Went in Saturday night and an off duty bartender who claimed to be a manager stole my purse off the bar when I was talking to my friend next to me and was going through my wallet and my lipgloss and everything in my bag when I turned around and grabbed it from her she told me she was going to have me banned because her friend was missing and I didn’t understand the situation. Will never go back to a bar that’s employees try to steal thousands of dollars worth of personal property.
Loved this place. Feels very modern and clean. Food was great. The smash burger was delicious! We seated ourselves and we're greeted with waters very shortly after sitting. Will definitely be back.
Ran errands in Kenosha and needed a quick bite and a cocktail. This was perfect. Cheddar bites - delicious. Home made chips - crispy and on point Onion Rings - 10/10. Service was great. Cool atmosphere. Gaming machines, lots of TV’s, full bar. Would def stop in again if we are in the area
Stopped in on a Saturday night, passing through. Friendly service, cold drinks and reasonable prices. We'd definitely be back!
Bar & grill serving casual American fare in a warehouse-style space with brick & wood accents.
Anthony was our server, pretty cool! Definitely worth a pretty awesome tip. They made me a triple patty burger on Texas toast. It normally came with two, but three is better. The taste was wonderful, you can savor the flavor. No alcoholic drinks this time, my wife had the fried goat cheese salad, and the Greek fries we shared. Good conversation, in the balcony area, it was very relaxing. Nice view out the windows, clean facility, clean bathrooms, I got a chance to look in the kitchen, pretty awesome! I would highly recommend stopping in for a meal or just a drink. I've been here several times before. I would suggest you go and see for yourself! Sorry for the mistakes, I should have proof read before, lol! 😵💫
Even though the food was really good, the service was definitely lacking. After bringing the apps, we didn’t get enough plates and got no napkins or silverware. Some of the plates were dirty. Nobody came by to check until the food came. Even though we asked to make sure that some ingredients weren’t in the salad (the menu and the waitress verified), the salad still included those ingredients. The mistake was resolved and the salad was great, but we had to wait for the mistake to be corrected. Two out of three Greek feast tacos I ordered only had two small pieces of chicken and the chicken dumpling soup had one tiny cube. The name should be changed to Dumpling soup. The deck is nice, but has lots of bees.
Google says its closed. It is not closed. It's wide the f...... Open... Everytime we come. It is awesome. Beer choices are great. Staff is awesome. This is one of my fave bars in keno. For years.
Wow! Found this place on a wim. I usually hit a Micro brewery in the area. This time I wanted more of a neighborhood bar feel. I was looking over the taps and all of a sudden 2 of the people at the bar, one being the person who chooses the beer for the bar, started chatting with me. They both had recommendations for on tap, and then turned and pointed to the variety in bottles and cans. What a large selection.. highly recommend a visit. If you've been driving past this place for years, tap on the brakes and pull in for a great beer and local company!!!
I must say by far the best captain and crew I have ever encountered on these seas. They pour the best drinks, give the best hugs, and sing the gayest of sea shanties. A very merry time at the port indeed. I wish this was anonymous 🤣 love you guys
About 15 years ago my friends and I hid something in one of the flags hung on the ceiling every time we went. In one of them is a Rolex watch (probably a knock off) that we took from a guy in our friend group at the time. Great memories. Lol
These days, baby showers can now be a family event so why not a tap house! We needed a convenient location to bring family/friends together from Wisconsin & Illinois that would have a casual vibe, a unique private space and great food. After visiting several places, David at Kenosha TapHouse made it an easy choice. Working with him by phone and through a few text messages, he and his crew knocked it out of the park. On one of the busiest days in Kenosha, they catered to our need for dietary menu choices, decorating time, managing public service and our guests with great hospitality! A shout out to Bailey and her service team. I believe we were their first baby shower and hopefully there will be more. The tap system gave all our guests choices of draft beers and drinks. We had a buffet and all the food was fabulous...and the cheese curds!!!! You gotta try the curds! I can't forget to mention the view of the marina and the outdoor space. Wish I had more photos of the space but we received so many compliments from our guests that we know it was a memorable events. Thanks again David & Kenosha Taphouse Staff!
Went for lunch with a customer. Atmosphere was awesome. Very chill. Wings were top notch. Cheese curds were top notch. Service was good. However the price we paid for a pint glass of beer was ridiculous. A pint of Ninja vs Unicorn by Pipeworks was just over $12. That to me was just insane. I would go back for sure but only order soda from now on.
Storied gay hot spot with DJ dance parties & theme nights, plus karaoke & bingo.
My husband and I love coming here. This is our home away from home when we can escape our work/home routines. We typically come on Wednesdays for karaoke, when we can. Love the crew that work here. All of them friendly and professional! This has been our safe space to just unwind and let it all out into the mic! Keep up the phenomenal work guys!
I've actually been here few times. Had a great time but management is a drunk, and specially on busy days
