Cozy environment with dimmed lighting and great cocktails! Several small seating areas that would be best for smaller parties of 2-4 although there is one larger area suitable for bigger groups. The bar is adorable and the specialty drinks are always exciting. Small, tailored menu that is always changing. Great food for sharing and snacking while sharing a drink in a more intimate environment. Great for dates or drinks with the girls!
We came here for an evening night cap and The Library did not disappoint! From the outside, the building comes across a bit unassuming, but the interior is sleek and modern. Great feel for a cocktail bar. We sat at the bar and had the pleasure of chatting with the owner Larry. He made us feel extremely welcomed and was a great host for us. I ordered off the cocktail menu and highly recommend the Gulp-Ivers Travel (also Larry's favorite!). The charcuterie board was fantastic to munch on while sipping cocktails and enjoying the atmosphere. This is a MUST VISIT during your trip to Fairbanks. The Library rocks!
What an awesome experience! We sat at the bar and met the owner/bartender/chef Larry. We each had a couple of cocktails and deviled eggs, which were amazing. We met some locals as well and all the food looked great. Thanks you Larry and locals for a great time
I was at this establishment last night with a group of friends. I have been here before and boosted the place up about their drinks. We all ordered the Tequila Mockingbird, which I've had and normally the drink is purple. When ours came to the table the waitress apologized and said normally its purple. Ours was yellow/brown. It tasted HORRIBLE, couldn't drink it, normally its delicious. We asked to have the drink replaced and was told it couldn't be replaced or refunded because the ingredients are listed and properly measured (*cough*). As some of yall know, the drink should be purple. It was brown (see photo) which indicates poor measurements and too much mescal. We were told we still had to pay 18 dollars regardless because ingredients are listed. Definitely turned my view of the place sour. The bar tender wouldn't even talk to us. Food was amazing though shout out to the chef!!!!!!!!!!!
Loved the bar! Good balance between a bistro and a speakeasy. Has an uplifting vibe with the good indoor lighting, but not too noisy so you could still enjoy conversations with friends. Our drinks were fantastic! Delicious and beautiful presentation. Food is also great! Staff was incredibly helpful - welcoming, checking in regularly to make sure our needs covered. Highly recommend!
