Burgers were delicious, seasoned really nicely, and it comes with a ton of fries, cooked and salted perfectly. The bartender was very attentive and suggested a few good beers. Great place to stop while visiting San Diego.
I get here two nights in a row while visiting. The burger was exceptional. Five stars. The fries were terrible. One star. How salad was good, four stars. I'm so sick of the local beer trend. I hate paying nearly $10 to try a beer I've never had and often don't love. If there was a few more bottled beer choices I would have drank on the second night. But I didn't love any of my beers from the first night, so I decided to skip it rather than experimenting blindly. The bartender was really friendly.
Olmo is a great, attentive bartender with a cool edge. Only decent pool table in downtown. Prices are great for simple drinks and the Time Out taco is an entire meal on its own for less than $10
Stumbled upon this place while visiting and I have to say it’s the perfect dive-y/casual bar atmosphere, great staff, and the best tacos I’ve ever had! My husband and I went back several times during our trip. Locally owned too. Seriously, just go
This bar is a hidden gem. Bar tenders and the bouncer are always welcoming and attentive. Food is delicious as well. The atmosphere is great and not usually as packed as Gaslamp bars a few blocks down, but with great beer selection. This is my go to bar every time I want something more lowkey.
