We sat at the bar . The bartender was amazing !! I ordered the prime rib sandwich and my husband ordered the broasted chicken. They were both delicious !! My husband said , best chicken he has ever had.
Service started off slow but the gal was amazing when I shared we had an event to get too. I really appreciate her taking such great care. The food was decent for a bar. Nothing exciting. Prices are average, too. I would go back.
Great food, the servers seemed to be running around the place trying to keep up, they were doing a good job of that, but the place seems to be understaffed, typical sports bar atmosphere.
I experienced extremely slow service during my visit. My waiter seemed to forget I was even there, and I noticed other tables in the same section were also being ignored. The restaurant was not overly busy, so the delay was disappointing and avoidable. Overall, a letdown considering the expectations I had for the Hoffman House.
They use beef tallow to fry. The French fry were awesome. My wife had a juicy Lucy fresh meat pretzel bun and bacon jam to die for. My son had ayce walleye and it was very good.
