As the new guy on the block, I decided to check this place out based on reviews. It was not a regrettable decision. The bartender Jason was very hospitable, great drink prices, splendid music selections. The local patrons were neighborly, very supportive and inclusive as I felt right at home within minutes of walking in. It's a great place to kick off the evening/ night for pregame, chill n chat, vibe out, before venturing to larger venues if that's your thing. 😁
The Korner Lounge is hands-down one of my favorite local spots! The atmosphere is always welcoming, the drinks are strong (and reasonably priced!), and the bartenders know how to make everyone feel like a regular—whether it’s your first visit or your fiftieth. There’s always something going on—from karaoke nights and drag shows to theme parties and special events—and the energy is unmatched. It’s a true staple of the LGBTQ+ community in Shreveport, but everyone is welcome here. If you’re looking for a place to unwind, dance, laugh, and make new friends, The Korner Lounge is where it’s at. Cheers to great vibes, even better people, and a place that always feels like home!
Stopped in to collect on some work at the owner's other property. We were the only two there in until I left 700 dollars richer (not counting the work pay) playing their video poker whole I enjoyed a cold beef and shot.
From out of town visiting? This is the perfect bar if you are looking for a quiet, calm night out. The bartender kept us entertained the whole time we were there, and the drinks were reasonably priced.
I came from out of town, and unfortunately, the drag show was canceled that night. But, the drinks were fantastic. Thanks! I have got to find a way back. Thanks, from the bottom of my dead, black heart ;) !
