This is the bar in the middle of Southern Market in Lancaster. The bartenders here are quick and good. They really know how to mix a drink. The selection of beers are limited, all craft, all I had were very good. The garnishes on the drinks were fresh. This was a pretty busy place for 8pm on a Wednesday night. Very enjoyable experience.

One of the more surprising details about Lancaster is that you can get very high-quality cocktails here. The best place to do so is Bar 1888. Perched in the center of City Market South, you can grab food from one of the dozen-or-so diverse food stands and then settle in for an often rotating, inventive cocktail list...often including esoteric flavors and ingredients (salted tomatillo syrup for the win). One of my favorite stops in downtown Lancaster.
I don't know where Lancaster is getting its cocktail artists from, but Jesus Christ. Every time I come here I am significantly impressed. Between this place and hi fi, just wow. My bf and I have been to the the most "highly rated" cocktail bars in DC AND NY and they don't even come close to this. Be super proud of what you do and continue doing it. I love Lancaster so much.
This drink is amazing, combines whiskey and cinnamon....a perfect combination to end the weekend. And of course, Bar 1888 staff never disappoint, they are knowledgeable about the drinks and provide excellent recommendations and are always friendly.
