Burgers & updated pub fare served in an upscale bohemian brick tavern with live jazz & a roof deck.
I arrived as they were opening at 11am. I sat upstairs and ordered the chicken salad sandwich, fries, drink and dessert. The sandwich was $19 and should have included a side but the fries were extra. It was a big sandwich and filling but a little dry so I asked for mayonnaise. The waitress was great and attentive. I would definitely go back and probably order something else but also get the cake again! They welcomed my dog and the waitress gave her ice cold water.
The food here was absolutely delicious. My server was wonderful. She was very attentive and through. The food came out super fast even though they were getting a busy lunch crowd. Would definitely recommend.
A group of us stopped into Henry’s On The Market for a drink while visiting Charleston and had a great time. The venue has multiple levels, each offering its own bar and seating area, including a rooftop with a nice view and laid back vibe. There was live music playing on the first level, which added great energy and made the experience even more enjoyable. It’s a fun and casual spot to unwind, and we’d definitely stop in again the next time we’re in town.
Recommend that you stop in for drinks. Introduced to this establishment on a ghost tour while visiting Charleston, SC. Went back the following night. I purchased several of the different cocktails. All were well made by staff that was friendly. There was a bar on the first floor and two bars on the second floor, as well as additional seating on the roof (3rd floor). I would recommend the bar on the room that has been restored with a prohibition appearance.
This is the oldest restaurant in Charleston. The food was delicious. Peel and eat shrimp with fries are recommended. The fries are delicious! Chop salad with fresh fish and house-made dressing, incredible. The bartenders could not have been better. Excellent mixed drinks.
