I've lived in the BCS area for over 18years. During that time I have been to WingsnMore and Wingstop more times than I can count. With that in mind I have been hearing about Anchor Bar for a bit and decided to give it a shot with my little food critics. The place is really nice with a sports atmosphere. We were served by Jeremiah and had a great experience. He took great care of us and looked like he honestly enjoyed his job (my youngest daughter pointed that out). We ordered the mozzarella sticks as an appetizer, which did not disappoint. They were crispy on rhe outside and the cheese had a great pull. They were also intact, not missing half the cheese like other places. We ordered the lemon pepper buffalo sauce wings for our entree with a side of fries. The wings were actually the best wings we've had in quite a while. They were crunchy, juicy, and well seasoned. The fries were also great. Overall great experience. Will be back.
A really nice place to enjoy with friends and family. The service was really friendly and the food so tasty. The fried chicken with the sauces of your choice is delicious and the deserts incredible! 😋
Food was good. Waitress didn’t come back to our table after dropping off the food until we had finished and it was time to drop off the check. We had no utensils and never got any. My husband ordered the beef sandwich which was not what was portrayed in menu photo. The menu showed much more beef than what the actual sandwich had. We mentioned this to our waitress when she delivered the check and we were told that everything is weighed. If that is the case then they need to change the menu photo to truly represent the size of the sandwich and the quantity of the beef. The manager did comp the sandwich when we showed her the photos which was nice. We will probably try the restaurant again as the food and beer selections were very good.
Addison was our server. Having lived in WNY for over 25 years, Anchor Bar is the best though Addison has the best server, ever. Great food, good people, and they are on My Backyard app which gave us a discount.
I came in today with a couple of friends, and we want to give a shoutout to Chloe. By far the best service I've received at any restaurant. She was so sweet and funny, literally had the whole crowd laughing. She made the whole thing fun and kept up with our mood throughout the night. Top-tier customer service, I can't even make this up. She deserves recognition for her work, thank u, Chloe!!!
