Mellow local tiki bar pairing imaginative, rum-filled cocktails with a vibrant Polynesian decor.
They say some of the best things in life happen unexpectedly. This place was an unexpected place for me to find and now enjoy. First sip and now I can't wait to go back to try new drinks. Service was awesome from both Brandon and Lane. Thanks to those two, me and my husband will be stopping by again.
This place is the real deal. Fresh juices, carefully curated decor and attentive staff. Everything is on theme and even the virgin drinks are phenomenal. Get your tiki on and get down to Lei Low, but come early - the location is very popular but rather small, and they obey the fire marshall's strict limit on occupancy; you will wait outside in the Houston heat, and parking can be a pain.
Had drinks at Lei Low before a 7pm dinner reservation in the Heights. Location is tucked away and super unassuming. The bar itself felt a little depressing during daylight hours but the decor was cute and they have a wide array of tiki cocktail options. I enjoy that we have a tiki option in Houston but I probably won’t be a repeat customer.
A true gem in the “kinda” middle of Houston. It was extremely convenient from my hotel in the Galleria area. I went on a Tuesday night and it was chill. I loved that I could enjoy my drink and listen to some great tiki music. The tiki glasses are perfectly chosen for each drink. I could only stomach 1 drink because of the huge dinner I had but it was so worth it. I got the yellow bird and it was perfectly balanced - not too sweet and really nicely cold. Hubby got Trade Winds and I really liked his too but it was a tad stronger than mine. I highly recommend both. Next time I visit HTX, Lei Low is at the top of my list!
The vibe, the mixologists and the WELL CRAFTED cocktails are amazing at this chill neighborhood getaway. I love everything about this little gem! Out of town visitors always ask me about my beautiful cocktails and where I go to get them. I try to bring someone new as often as I can.
