This place is crushing it. From the best cocktail design we've seen in years to a well curated menu of items. The french onion soup, shrimp & grits, and Nashville chicken sandwich were all stellar. Perfectly balanced and having a new unique riff on originals. The blood orange creme brulee was the perfect finish. Finally, a creme brulee that was chilled and smooth. Excellent restaurant with fantastic service.
Felt is such a well run, well executed bar/restaurant. The food is unique, flavorful, and fun. The wine selection is always so much better than other restaurants in SLC. Last night we got the pretzel bites- always a solid choice, shrimp ceviche, and swordfish. Highly highly recommend the swordfish. It was so fresh, well seasoned, and garnished. Not pictured, but a must get- the Brussel sprouts! So crisp and flavorful. The still Rose is the best wine I’ve had in a long time. Come check out this incredible place! Pictured- the one and only Chef Herbert!
First time at Felt Bar & Eatery and we enjoyed our food and the atmosphere. The Korean BBQ Ribs are delicious and so are the Pretzel Bites. Mac n Cheese was not bad but that Lobster Roll was absolutely delicious! Togarashi Chicken with Gnocchi was great as well. You have to end the night with the cookies and milk for nostalgia, as for the flavor- I liked the hint of orange but I think I’m just a cookie snob because these cookies were too cake like for me. Didn’t have that crisp around the edges BUT they were still tasty! The downside for me was the service, waitress was nice but she took a while to refill our drinks or forgot to get items we asked for like an extra napkin. We had to wait a long time in between. Also, I ordered a Shirley Temple and unfortunately it was the worst Shirley Temple I’ve ever had. I don’t even know if they put the grenadine in there. It was very bitter. Overall, if you’re into a more upscale bar scene with good food and a good atmosphere this is the place for you.
Cool spot in SLC! The cocktails were on point. All the raw dishes we had were yummy. The ribs were under seasoned though and the ravioli which sounded good was just OK and came out cold. I'd def go back to try some other dishes.
Stopped by here on a Saturday night without a reservation and got lucky because someone no-showed. Really fun and tasty dinner. We tried a bunch of different things that were all great: ribs, special spicy chicken, Mac and cheese, French Onion soup and the Olive appetizer. Drinks were also great. We tried the Mole (mescal smoked old fashioned) and the Floating Weeds (pickle brine w/gin) but the hands down winner was the Tokyo Banana (Suntory whisky + banana). Playlist was outstanding and service was on point. Highly recommended.
